She looks like an angel, but fights like hell. This is 21-year-old Regina Taren, the most [music] brutal girl in the UFC. She earned the nickname Kill Bill [music] because, like the heroine of the Tarantino film, she's beautiful, brutal, and has defeated everyone she's faced. What makes her story even more remarkable is that she never planned to become a fighter. She started training purely for self-defense. Her school years played a crucial role in her life. It was at school that she was heavily bullied, and because of that, she promised her mother she would learn to fight to protect herself. However, over time, she decided to become a fighter. Sponsors paid for other kids, but for Regina, her mother did. Because in Mexico, women in MMA are treated very skeptically. Let's start with her amateur career. Her first notable fight took place on November 26th, 2021. Her opponent [music] was Karen Iñiguez. Regina started the fight very actively. The fight took place on July 27th, 2024. The Argentine fighter almost immediately found herself in an uncomfortable position. Taran climbed on top of her and started raining cannon-like punches down on her head. She simply didn't know where to go. There were so many strikes that it was hard to count them. Regina simply beat the Argentine down. The referee stopped the fight. A beautiful victory. SHE'S going to have to do more than just shell up here. It may come to an end very quickly. Taran's opponent that night was Luisa Cifuentes. A great high kick from Kill Bill. In the third round, two more beautiful high kicks landed on Cifuentes' head. Regina brought back her old acrobatic move and delighted the crowd. Toward the end of the fight, everything was flying at the Colombian's head, from jabs to high kicks. As you will see, her fighting style is very brutal, especially for a girl. June 19, 2025, that's when the fight between Kill Bill and Caitlin Neil took place. It was one of the rare fights where the Mexican spent a long time standing and showed her striking skills beautifully. It was painful and at the same time satisfying to watch. A very brutal knockout early in the fight. Those aren't hands, they're cannons. A magnificent seventh consecutive victory. A few days before the annual UFC event in Mexico, one of the fighters lost her opponent. Because of that, young Regina was offered the chance to step in as a replacement. She had only a couple of days to cut weight and prepare to face a UFC veteran, but that didn't scare her. And at just 21 years old, she agreed, becoming the youngest Mexican woman in the UFC. On February 28th, 2026, this time her opponent was Lithuania's Ernesta Koreckaite. And most importantly, this was Regina's UFC debut.
