The Werewolf of Bedburg

I thought he was just a serial killer. Until you find out why and how he was arrested. >> Okay. Peter as a wolf went on to attack a man who was walking along alone through the woods. He didn't know that the man was armed. Apparently he had a sword or an axe or something. I think he had a sword. [music] And the man as the wolf's lunging at him, he managed to chop off the wolf's left paw. The wolf screamed in pain, started wailing in pain, and ran off. So the guy's like, "Wow, look at that massive paw." Picks it up and puts it in his pack. >> Yeah. >> Goes home. Later he's telling the story. He's telling the neighbors about this massive creature that he managed to wound. >> And they're like, "Ah, get out of here." You know, they didn't believe him. Yeah. So he went to retrieve the paw from his pack. And it was a human hand. Oh, no. Wow. So did Peter have no hand? >> Exactly. >> Ooh. That's how they arrested him. Basically, the story starts spreading across town how this guy wounded the creature and he has this human hand. And here comes Peter with this freshly cut off hand, bloody bandages, trying to stem the flow of bleeding and everything and there he is and Wow. >> described the left paw. Specifically said the left paw. >> Yeah. And Peter was missing his left hand.
