Maldini call you, bro, you just you just [music] you just have to say, "Yes, I'm I'm going." Cristiano he wants like to score every every single game. Well, when he creates goals he scores. >> Do you watch much Premier League? >> Yeah, of course. >> Any particular teams that you watch or no? >> [laughter] >> No, I like I like >> I don't want to ask what your vision is. >> My vision? >> This is Rafael Leão. He's one of the top forwards in Europe and has become [music] a modern-day AC Milan legend. He played a critical role in bringing Milan back to glory [music] with Serie A and Supercoppa wins, but he's just as influential off the pitch. Rafa has become well-known for his iconic [music] style and being one of the most fashionable players in the game. In this episode, we go deep into what inspires his style, playing [music] with Cristiano, creating his own brand, and more. >> Yeah, you have to enjoy. >> [laughter] >> How much practice can I get in Portuguese accent? >> Let's go. >> Yeah, I think he's good. He's good at your Portuguese. >> Brazilian accent, maybe. >> Yeah, the Brazilian accent, yeah. >> Appreciate you coming on this Sneaker YouTube podcast, bro. >> Thank you, bro. Thank you, bro. >> And I think a great place to start would be your style. And how do you describe your style and how it's evolved over time? >> Bro, easy. Easy, comfortable. Um I think my style represents my myself. I think also the people around me. >> Mhm. >> So yeah, sometimes I I match like the shirt with the shoes. >> [snorts] >> Do you work with a stylist or is it all yourself? >> Uh I think normally like for occasion like a big a big uh ceremony or something like that. Yeah, otherwise I just >> On Instagram and stuff, you just find the brands? >> Also like some brands like they they send me and some brands like >> [laughter] >> Denucci also. So, yeah, bro. I just I just wear like a um what I feel in the day, in the mood. So, yeah. >> And how do you build an outfit? Like, do you start with a watch or do you start with a certain piece or >> Uh good question, bro. Good question. I just go with the flow. Sometimes with the with my moods. >> Depends on the event, like >> And so, I like to to to try like new things. I don't know, maybe like yellow with something like rose. You know? >> Do you experiment a lot? Like, do you think you have one style or you you have a few different vibes? What do you like? >> I have like I have like one person who who I like and I think um I see myself it's going to >> Oh, yeah. >> So, yeah. >> So, it's win, man. >> [laughter] >> So, yeah. Um um I look like to to to restart a lot, so um yeah. And I think it's fits fits on on my person, so yeah. >> Mhm. And do you think style is something you're born with or something you learn? >> Both. Um because like my father used to to dress very well and also when I was a kid he he didn't let me go go out with like whatever, you know? So, I think um um my father helped me to build that. >> Is he stylish? >> No. No. No. No. >> [laughter] >> No, it's like he he he used to used to be like when he was younger um a person likes to do to dress very well, so I learned a lot from him, yeah. >> Yeah. And is there big fashion scene in Portugal or since you come to Milan you like you get inspired by >> No, yeah. >> Milan? >> Milan, yeah, 100%. Like, you know, like every everywhere everywhere you go like the the person they dress very well and also you have like the fashion week, so >> And I know we're just talking about Tokyo, but when you go, bro, the style is insane there. >> Everywhere. >> And countries like China, too, because I think these cultures no one gives a [ __ ] you know? You can wear whatever you want. >> Yeah. >> So, there's some really cool style out there. >> Yeah, I want to go there. I want to go there too to learn more and and and see like different things, yeah. >> Mhm. And I feel like the the shoe game isn't what it was. Like I feel like a few years ago it had a bit of a run like different styles and stuff, but what what do you what's your opinion right now on the the shoe game and what's coming out? >> I'm learning. I'm learning and searching like new things and also I bought I bought the the Majella, the Future. >> Mhm. You know that one? >> I've never heard of them. >> Yeah. Um and um I'm I'm I'm open to to try new things because like in my in my vision yesterday back then I was like >> [sighs] >> Yeah. Like I I I didn't wear like the belts. >> Right. >> like it. So, um I'm really open to to try new things, so yeah. >> Any type of sneakers that you're into right now? >> Good question, bro. Yeah, but like I said I bought I just bought the the the Majella. Like Young Thug, Future they used to wear that model. I will show after. >> Yeah, yeah. >> You will you will realize. >> And are you into watches? >> Yeah, also. But uh I have like some, [snorts] but um usually I don't wear. I don't know why. I prefer like chain. >> Really? >> Yeah, yeah. I prefer >> I remember hearing the story of you when you lent your boy you gave your boy the watch and he dipped. You forgive him? >> Yeah, because like what's my It's my own boy. Yeah, we we grew up together, so yeah. He just like apologized and said, "Yeah, bro." But was like my first my first Rolex and just like >> Yeah. >> gone like this. >> This is a good story now, I guess. >> Yeah, now now it's funny, but at that moment it was like I really angry. >> Yeah, yeah. >> I was really angry, me, yeah. >> I hear you. And do you think football is changing its stigma around the players having style? Like, I feel like it's taking a while for the evolution to come, but obviously in the NBA they're ahead where it's welcomed for a player to have their own style and be super creative and dress how they want, but do you think it's coming to football now? >> Yeah, but I think I think they they they they should they should press more and in my opinion in that side cuz I think uh like in the squad you have like a lot of players with the with with a face with um personality to wear Yeah. To wear like different different clothes. And uh and also sometimes maybe you you look at the player in the pitch um bro you know you don't you don't feel the energy, but >> Yeah. >> we feel if you see him like before the game with the >> The style's all done, you know? >> You know what I mean? >> Yeah. >> Yeah, maybe maybe he maybe he got a aura, you know what I mean? So >> I hear you. I listen. >> And I mean >> So, cuz it's almost psychological, too. >> Yeah, yeah, also. Yeah, yeah, 100% 100%. >> And what does the um the collaboration between Off-White and AC Milan look like? Like, how are you involved in that? >> Yeah, yeah. But like I said like in the squad um uh I have like couple players they they go to the dressing room and I said, "Bro, you you need to come on >> on, man. >> You need to improve a little bit. >> Yeah, yeah, of course. >> And uh when they put like the Off-White collab with the Milan I say Bro, maybe you >> I show them, bro. >> You know what I >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. >> So, yeah, it was was really good. Um I like it and I think like every single year every single year they they bring the new a new stuff. So, yeah. >> And I have to ask you, does Cristiano have good style? >> Yeah, he has own style. >> [laughter] >> Okay, okay. >> Yeah, own style. >> Yeah. >> But I respect, bro. >> Of course. >> I respect like um each like everyone needs to to be comfortable what they what they wear. So, I just respect it. >> you, bro. And moving on to your music, so I've seen you in the studio recently with Vay from Brazil. >> Yeah. >> Cool. >> My boy. >> Do you have any music releasing soon? >> Yeah, we have we have like a piece. Yeah, it's really nice really nice and uh >> This year? >> I hope so. >> Mhm. >> Yeah, I hope so. But yeah, a good he's a good a good person. Uh our relation is really is really nice like a very a very humble guy and also his team. Um >> Are they based in Rio? >> No, he's from São Paulo. >> Oh, okay. >> Yeah, he's from São Paulo. >> So, you'll probably see him if you go to São Paulo. >> Yeah, that's why I I was I was >> Okay. >> I was talking with you and and I was saying I'm going there, so yeah, we will we will link up for sure and enjoy more. Not like for >> [snorts] >> for music because um when I when I meet these kind of people, I don't want like to to keep talking um to same thing they they used to do, you know? So, like maybe go wrestle maybe we go do like random things like to to get off the >> Maybe Bali is your funky, no? >> Who knows? >> Who knows? And what does your journey into music look like? Like have you always been creating music since you were young or >> No, I start I started COVID. >> Oh, fair. >> Yeah. I was bored. >> What like in your notes? Like what >> Yeah, I used I used to to to to write the kind of a couple things like about my life about about everything like some thoughts, so and um in the COVID uh I just said like yeah, let me go to the studio because we we stay like 1 month at home and I said yeah, let's let's let me go to the studio and try and >> Sure. and see what's going on. So and from there just I go to to the studio like one time in a week and just like express myself. >> Is it also like a nice not to say you're doing it for this purpose, but is it also a nice escape from football a bit? >> Yeah, 100%. >> Whereas that quite therapeutic. >> Yeah, 100%. It's kind of a a hobby like I really like some some players I know and also in my team. For example, like Pulisic today, he likes to to play golf. >> Yeah. >> Maybe it's like something they they really like, they they they maybe I hope like to to to get off the pressure of everything. So yeah. >> I think Memphis got some bars, no? >> Yeah, they they he was he was the first one. >> Yeah. >> But bro, I know I know more players. >> Yeah. >> But they're afraid they're afraid to to to show like they yeah, they like to do to do music. But >> Mhm. You might need to hop in the studio with Gelson, man. >> Yeah, I know I know something. >> [laughter] >> For sure. >> Bye boy. Bye yeah, man. >> And do you listen to much UK music? >> Yeah, I do. >> What what type? >> No, everything like my playlist like Central C, Digga D, Jhus. Yeah, kind of kind of Skepta. >> Mhm. Have you tapped into any of them? Have you ever met any of them? >> Uh no. No. But yeah, if if I have the opportunity to >> Mhm. >> I would like to. Yeah. >> And what do you think about the Italian scene? Like guys like Sfera, Shiva. >> Yeah. >> What do you think is Yeah, what do you think about the the the style? >> No, they they are style. >> Oh, sorry, the music. >> Okay, okay. Yeah, no, they they they are like one of the greatest here in the in Italy. >> I mean Shiva. >> Mhm. >> We did a collab for for my brand also. >> it already. Was he in a shoe? >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. No, he's a good guy good boy. A good guy. And and he's young and now he's like he's on the top three. >> Yeah. >> And um and also about about the image and the style. Um he's like more of a street street style. >> Yeah. Bro, I love the Italian scene because I feel like it's um it's very iconic. Like they've got their own style. >> Yeah. >> And the way they dress, all tatted up, you know, like it's quite cool. It's quite different >> Yeah. >> I think to the UK or US, you know? >> Yeah, yeah. >> So. >> No, I think when you see like a Italian you you you see like yeah, like the meaning is like fashion, you know what I mean? So so, yeah. >> I saw you recently with Gunna. Did you spend much time together? >> No, I just I just meet him after the the concert. Um I went to the backstage. Yeah, we we spoke a little bit. Yeah, like um very very open guy. >> Yeah. >> We speak we spoke a little bit and I gave him a shirt and I just invite him the next time he come >> to Milan. >> coming to to Milan I would like to invite him to to the game and >> Top. >> so we can like spend more time. >> Was like was it a quick one? >> Yeah. And are you on the aux in the Milan dressing room? >> Yeah. >> What what were you playing? What type of music? >> Depends. But like in general, like French music. >> Swear? >> Yeah. >> Well, like Gazo and what what type >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. >> Yeah, like heavy >> French touch. >> High energy. >> Because like if I if I let some Italian teammates to put the music, the mood is like a little bit different. >> Yeah. >> So like French music is more like >> And is funky? >> give me more power. Yeah, also a little bit. >> Mhm. >> A little bit. I don't used to listen because like when I go to the dressing room I just put my headphones and I'm staying my own my own world. Like get the concentration for the game. >> Yeah, bro. >> And that's it. Yeah. >> And moving on to your brand, Sonisang. >> Yeah. >> Like when did you start it and what what was the inspiration behind doing it? >> Um >> And did I pronounce that right, Sonnie Song? >> Yeah. Yeah, 2019, yeah. COVID also. >> Mhm. >> Oh, no, before the COVID. A little bit. No, I just I I wanted to I wanted to create like a brand even before I started. Um I wanted like to create something where people can um grab it like no something expensive. >> Mhm. >> And um I wanted to to let everyone wear and and see like here. Um I create this. >> Right. >> So, yeah, today I'm really proud to to to give like every every person to opportunity to to wear my my brand and I want to keep going and maybe like one day achieve like my goals like to be one of the tops. >> Mhm. >> So, yeah. >> So, it's almost like representing your style but accessible price. >> Exactly. >> Everybody can like get it. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Top. >> Yeah. >> And what does the name mean? >> Mean like um never forget where you came from. Um it's about like um goals uh sacrifice also. And also like to represent like you said >> Mhm. >> the streetwear side. >> Yeah. >> Um the tracksuit. So >> Yeah. >> is around that. >> And tell me if I'm wrong, but I out of a lot of players, I actually think you're a very long-term thinker. >> Yeah. >> Cuz I see you putting attention into content, music, you got your own fashion brand. Are these the things that can outlive football? >> Yeah. >> Um and like what what is your role in the brand look like? >> In my my brand is that No, I just wanted to I want to do like everything. I just want to do like to show everyone I'm I'm versatile. I'm I'm I'm doing whatever to to represent and show like the person if even you you can do it if you if you want like you just don't need to to be afraid to represent what you what you want to represent, yeah. >> And are you involved in the design process and >> Yeah, yeah. >> in the shoots and what what you want it to look like? >> Yeah, yeah, yeah. >> So >> Because I I I work with someone who who had the brand before. So, he knows already what was going on in in this area. And uh for sure I gave like the some ideas. And um the most important thing I want to to to people understand is like um when you see like Sonny Sun uh you see like myself. >> Right. >> So, that's the that's the goal. >> Cool. And what does the team look like behind the brand? How many people are involved like? >> No, like uh we put in more people. We put in more people. Um I think it's also about like the the process of the brand. >> Mhm. >> When you start like growing, you need like more people to to help you. And uh we yeah, we are in the process. >> Top. >> Yeah. >> And is there anything profound you've learned from starting your own brand? Cuz obviously I think you're I'd say you're the face of football fashion, right? >> Yeah. >> But I think starting your own brand is a very different you see a different side to it. >> No, of course. >> Is there anything in particular that you've stood out to you while the journey? >> The price the price like the uh samples and and how to deal with because in my head was like yeah, let's let's create a name. Let's maybe do like 10 samples that goes and done for us. >> [laughter] >> But that doesn't work like this and and him like Francisco is my my right arm. He He me a lot. And uh and now I see a different way um in that area and it's something like really really difficult, really really stressful, but um it's someone who who helped me a lot and um and he's keeping like the brand in the right way. >> Now, I feel like that's a great decision to make because I can imagine a lot of people might just try to do it by themselves. >> Yeah. >> And they don't understand the process behind fashion. And if you get it right, bro, like if you look at an example of Rhode, Hailey Bieber and valued at a billion dollars, Skims, multi-billion. Like this could be something insane for you, you know? >> Yeah. >> Like it's just consistent every year growing like I think it could be yeah, an amazing thing that you're building. And do you find it hard to balance staying true to Son of Son DNA versus following trends, whether it's product trends, content trends? >> I think uh like the clothes is the most important thing. Like you you want to represent, but um now uh I think you see also the you get ideas from from from other other brands also. >> Mhm. >> It's normal, uh but uh >> But it's what it represents wearing Son of Son. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think that's the the image and also the content the content also. >> Yeah. >> Maybe you you you have the idea from that brand, but maybe maybe you change everything about yourself, about your brand. >> Yeah. Now, I'm sure the brand's going to evolve cuz even with Sanuchi like as I've grown up and I've evolved my own style the style has changed, you know, and the content changes and it matures and stuff, so >> Of course. >> Yeah, all the best of that cuz yeah, it's so so bro. Might see you at a club one day, man. >> Yeah, you need to follow the tennis, yeah, 100%. >> Yeah. And with content like I'd say you're one of the OGs of YouTube vlogging and it's really cool to see guys like Lamela, Neymar, Haaland as well start of vlogging. >> Yeah. >> And when's your next vlog out, man? I've been waiting, bro. >> Jose. >> Jose, when's that out, man? >> [laughter] >> It'll be like a week. >> No, it's coming out. But I think it's important because um our life it's it's really like I mean, when we are in the pitch, everyone knows what you what you're doing, but they don't know like the secrets behind being a football player at home. >> Yeah. >> How how your family looks like, uh your habits, your habits. So, I think it's important to to show so your fans can realize uh who you are. >> 100% cuz I think there's two sides to it. I I see the value in building like an asset of your brand. >> Yeah. >> Where you have all these channels that are doing well, but also like for example, I know some really successful business guys, and they don't publicly have maybe the best um reputation, you know? >> Yeah. >> But I know if they went on a podcast or they had their own content and people understood who they were, everyone's opinion would change cuz they're actually the most amazing guys. >> Yeah. >> So, I completely agree with like where particularly in football >> Maybe maybe that's the strange like to keep going. The hate sometimes like the hate it's it's like a strange to give you power to >> Oh, is it the fuels you? >> You know what I mean? >> Right. And why did you start it in the first place? Like was it very strategic to start a vlogging or was it just you got together with your boys and like >> No, I just wanted to show like the world like my my habits, like my my my routine, >> Mhm. >> um my personality also. >> Yeah. >> And I think it's cool like to two people can sharing my my my stuff, my personality, my my routine, like I said. >> Yeah, done. And outside of content and stuff like you must get recognized a lot in public. Obviously in Italy, Portugal, and everywhere else. Have you ever had any weird experiences or like are you just used to it now? Everybody >> Yeah, I have one, yeah. I don't know, maybe it was like 3 years ago. I was I just I was in a restaurant. I paid and everything and I was like with a couple friend. And um and a fan came like said, "Yeah, Rafa. Can I kiss your your foot?" And I was like >> No. >> I said, "No." And he kissed it. I was like, "Bro." >> What did you say? You got on the floor and kissed your foot? >> Yeah, bro. >> What the >> Yeah, it was it was like uh awkward, yeah, so yeah. >> That's mad. In Italy? >> Yeah. >> [ __ ] hell, bro. >> But I think in Italy it's like they they really Bro, they it's like they are passionate of football. Like they they really live for. Was like awkward a little bit then but then the other way was like, yeah, they it's just like the way they they show the love. >> Yeah. >> So, yeah. >> Yeah, man. And how did you tap in with Speed? >> I think it was like off Instagram. Yeah, Instagram. Then I meet him like once. The first time was on the Euros. >> Mhm. >> In Germany. >> Cuz that's another one you were early on, bro. I think you were like either the first or one of the first footballers to tap in with him. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> And uh and the last time was in Portugal when he went to Portugal to stream. And he came to to watch a game for national team. And yeah, now a very cool guy. He's a funny guy. >> You still talk much with him? >> Yeah, we talk all sometimes, yeah. But you know, he live he's living fast everywhere. >> Yeah, what he's doing is insane. Like really pioneering a whole different type of content doing the but >> really organic. >> Oh, yeah. That the thing with streaming is because it's like literally a live stream, you have the most That's where you create the most die-hard fans because you're forced to be authentic, you know, you can't fake a [ __ ] 6-hour live stream. >> Exactly. >> So, that's why I think there's like levels to how depth of a community you have, and streamers I think is number one. >> I think the his energy is is crazy. He really have like a good energy. >> Mhm. >> Like even the first time I I met him, the the energy was was there, and maybe like after 2 weeks, 3 weeks, I just call him FaceTime, and the energy was was the same, so yeah. >> And you you introduced Speed to Ronaldo, right? >> Yeah. >> That's insane. Was that planned? >> No, no, no, no. I was like I was after the game, and he he came he came downstairs and said, "Bro, I'm in the tunnel because we have like um the park we were he was in the park. He said, "Yeah, I'm in the park." And uh and I said, "Yeah, bro, we won." Uh I think Ronaldo scored because bro, when Chris doesn't score, he doesn't speak to anyone. >> Really? >> Yeah, he doesn't speak to anyone. >> When they change him, he just doesn't speak. >> When he doesn't score. When he doesn't score, yeah. >> Okay. >> Uh but because he's like he's angry because, you know, Cristiano he wants like to score every every single game, and he's really competitive. Yeah, and that game was good. Um he scored, I think, and we won. Um yeah, I meet him I meet the I meet Speed, and we were talking, and um and he asked [clears throat] me, "Bro, where is Ronaldo?" I said, "Bro, he's in his house, maybe he's coming." Bro, I'm I'm not sure, but I can try to to stop him. But bro, like in my head I was like, "Bro, we will stop the car." He's like for me it was like a little bit uh Bro, in the dressing room we are like good relation, but not too not too close. Yeah, and his car came and I was like, yeah, I will try and whatever, you know. Yeah, and I tried because before the game I said, bro, Chris, Speedy is here. And he said, yeah, I see. Yeah, I will say. And yeah, I stopped the car. And he came out and >> So you just say Speedy's here? >> Yeah. >> In the car and he's like, oh yeah, cool. I'll >> Yeah, and he come out, yeah. >> Damn. That's so that's a legendary moment, bro. I remember that picture up. I was like, [ __ ] that's so cool, man. >> Yeah, it was nice, very nice, very nice. No, because it's like crazy for Cristiano, bro. He's crazy. >> Yeah. >> And and I said, maybe you know, like a people like a person, you know, like yeah, you like that person, but he's not like how can I say? Uh, you could do whatever to to see that person, you know what I mean? >> Mhm. >> So yeah, Speedy was that was that person about Cristiano, so that's why >> Legendary. >> I did, yeah. >> And do you link up with many other like content creators and streamers? >> No. But I went and maybe Cassano because he came also to Italy. >> Okay. >> But yeah, the rest. >> And is there anyone in mind like I don't know if you watch much content, but anyone you'd like to collab with on I don't know, a vlog or something like anyone you watch? >> In in this moment, only Speedy maybe. Yeah, I don't have like other ones in my mind, no. >> Yeah, first. And you think you would do content after football? And also actually how far ahead do you think? Do you think much after football? >> Yeah, maybe a vacation like streaming with my friends doing random stuff. Yeah. Just just like to I I I'd be fun. >> Mhm. >> You know? >> Yeah, man. >> So yeah. >> Top. And I got some questions as well about Italy and Milan. >> Yeah. >> And I wanted to ask what it's like living in Italy and how it compares to the culture in Portugal. Yeah. >> No, I think it's like between Milan and Lisbon, they're really really similar. >> Mhm. >> The weather, the food. And when I came here with 19 years old, um um I felt like I was at home already. The only thing was the language, yeah, of course. But I think after one one year and a half, something, I was like >> fluent? >> Yeah, not fluent, but I was I was speaking well Italian. So yeah, um I'm very I'm very good here. Also my family, when they come >> Mhm. >> when they come here, they they like the the city, so from I can say like I'm I'm home here. >> Nice. And I read the legendary story of when you were almost about to sign for Inter Milan >> Yeah. >> and then Maldini FaceTimed you? >> Yeah. >> What did he say? >> He he didn't he didn't he didn't he didn't need to tell something. >> Okay. >> When when someone of like Maldini caliber, you just you just you just have to say yes, I'm I'm going. >> Yeah. >> You know, so it was was a easy easy decision, of course. >> How legendary. And do you have any rituals or superstitions you do before a game? >> No, I used to pray. Yeah, I used to pray. Um talk about my life, um and being grateful in everything in my life. And and leave everything in in the God's hands. >> Mhm. And how does Italian football compare to other countries? What would you say? >> Yeah, it's a different it's different league. >> Very defensive? >> Yeah, difficult league also. Um but in this moment is I think they are on a top three. >> Mhm. >> Yeah, because like every single year three teams uh three Italian teams, they to the Champion League. So, yeah, they put like the Serie um, on the top. So, yeah. >> Do you watch much Premier League? >> Yeah, of course. >> Any particular teams that you watch, or no? >> [laughter] >> No, but >> Just highlights. >> No, I like I like United. I like United because, um, my idol my idol is Cristiano Ronaldo. >> Mhm. >> So, back then I used to to watch them. Bro, they make you like a real faces. Maybe they Which team do you support? >> [laughter] >> United. >> Bro, put a smile then, bro. You always looking like, bro, this guy >> Yeah. [clears throat] >> And, uh, yeah, I used I used to to to watch Manchester United because of Cristiano, of course. And, um Yeah, I like Arsenal, also. >> Mhm. >> Arsenal, yeah. >> Have you Have you spent much time in London? Like, do you like the UK? >> Yeah, I used to go. I used to go. When I go there, this guy never Yeah, cheers, man. >> pick me up. >> Oh, man. >> But, yeah, I go I used to go to to London. I like the city, bro. >> Cuz Jefferson is from London, right? >> Yeah, yeah. Also, I have my friends there. Yeah, my family, yeah. My bros. >> Nice, man. >> And, uh, but back then I didn't like the city. I don't know why. >> Maybe the weather, maybe. >> Yeah, also. >> Yeah. >> But, but when I have opportunity like maybe 2 days off, I go I go I go >> Good for shopping, to be fair. >> Yeah. >> Yeah, and a lot of lot of cool stuff to do. >> Nice, a nice city. >> And where would you live if you weren't a footballer? >> Dubai. >> Dubai? >> Yeah, really. Yeah, Dubai Dubai Dubai. >> Safety? >> Yeah. Um, good weather. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> Also, for family, it's I think it's it's nice because I went there with my friends. And, and, uh, and I wanted to I want to to bring to to to take my family there, also, to for like safari experiences, that kind of stuff. So, yeah, I think it's a good country. >> And I think you'd have peace of mind, bro, because I think it's the same as Monaco where paparazzi is illegal. >> Yeah, exactly. >> So, I think you can walk and it's >> Yeah, no one like approach you. Like you can walk whatever. >> Mhm. >> So, I think also for us it's it's perfect, yeah. >> Nice. And I got some quick-fire questions for you, so like one or two words whatever. >> Yeah. >> Who's got better style, artists or athletes? >> Artists, yeah. But we we need to push more. Moving on to I need to selfishly ask a few questions about Cristiano if that's okay. >> Yeah. >> And the World Cup as well. >> Mhm. >> Is there something in particular you've learned from playing with Cristiano? >> Yeah, he's really he's really competitive. Um Um He he always gave like he always give the the 100% and even the training. Um He push like like he's like he's the last day uh he's training. So, for us like the youngest I think it's a a really good thing. Um we can learn from from him also. He have like 40 41 like years old and looks like a 19 >> Mhm. >> boy enjoying the football. So, I think for us it's it's a really good thing. Um and of course like uh he represents he represent a country. >> Yeah. >> So, um we are like really really proud to to have him. >> And does he lead by example or is he more vocal and he speaks to everybody? >> Both. >> All right. >> Yeah, both. I think um I I just meet I just start like um having like a relation when when I when I start going to the national team. So, I don't know if he was like this when when he start like going up. But, I think when you have like a factor of like him the the leadership came with you. Um in your vein. So, uh I think it's really important. >> With Cristiano, were you born to nurse on? >> I wish. I wish. Maybe one day. >> Maybe one. >> Yeah, maybe one day. Why not? >> I obviously with the World Cup coming up, I wanted to ask what does it like a international camp look like? Like, what actually is a day-to-day? Is it a lot of chilling and traveling or >> Um normally like before you say before or during >> Or during? >> During. Um we don't know like the schedule, but um normally the coach gave us like um after the training or after the the game like a space with the to stay with the family so we can like um get off the pressure of >> Right. >> of being in a in a big competition like World Cup so >> So, the family can come to the camp as well. >> Yeah, so uh I think it helps to to to be more calm and to receive like the the love of of your family. Um I think we'll be we'll up to to to perform and to to to take away the stress. >> Mhm. >> Yeah. >> And you see the upcoming World Cup as a amazing chance to play on the global stage and remind everybody who you are? >> Yeah, 100%. I think um every every time I go to the national team um I'm growing um um and I try to to put my name in the history. But um like uh the last World Cup um I had opportunity to play I had opportunity to score also so um I think it's something you uh will remain in in your in your head and also like your your family. Like your family uh will be proud so um I think uh play for the national team in the World Cup I think it's the >> Yeah, it's legendary. >> yeah, the biggest thing in for a for a football player, yeah. Top. >> [snorts] >> And to finish, so in the Sannuti office, we've got a quote everywhere that says, "Loyal to the vision." And it just keeps the whole team aligned, you know, and working towards the same mission. We know where we're headed. And I wanted to ask what your vision is. >> My vision. >> Whether it's a year, 5 years, 10 years, whatever whatever you want. >> Well, a big one like in 5 years.
