The Church Just Confirmed More Changes Are Coming… (Elder Noguera Explains Why This Is HUGE!)

All right. Hello everyone and welcome to Rise Zion. My name is Seth and I hope you're all having a very superior Saturday. Now, as you know, every Saturday, ever since we received solid confirmation that the apostles and prophets have been instructing local leaders to prepare their wards and stakes for the second coming, I've been asking all of you out there in my audience to send me letters reporting on what was talked about in your ward and stake conferences. And over these past few months, we've received some truly astonishing reports. and together they form a growing body of evidence that right now the primary focus of the church is preparing a people ready to receive Jesus Christ at his second coming. These are remarkable and exciting times that we're living in. And as the prophet President Nelson said, I hope that we don't miss the majesty of this moment. That is a part of the reason why we're doing these videos is to help raise awareness of what is being taught at a very localized level on the ground so to speak especially when those teachings point prophetically toward what is coming next and how we can prepare. Now today's letter is deeply sobering. It comes from a listener who attended state conference in Mississippi and what she recorded was not ordinary. Included in her report were striking teachings from Elder Lariel Noguera of the 70. And what he said about the rising generation, the family, the ongoing restoration and preparing the church for the second coming was deeply sobering. The church has never centered its message on fear, panic, or date setting. But Ellen Nogua's message was urgent in a very different way. right before he got up to speak. In fact, 2 minutes before he received a spiritual impression that he needed to immediately change what he was going to talk about, he taught that this is the time to stop living in the past, receive the full power of the Savior's atonement and move forward. But then his message widened. He spoke about the rising generation. He spoke about protecting the family, the fundamental unit of society. He spoke about mothers, fathers, wives, husbands, children, covenants, sacrifice, the sacrament, and the need to focus more deeply on Jesus Christ and his atonement. And then he said something that immediately caught my attention, and I believe it will catch your attention as well. He said he testified that Jesus Christ lives, that he is preparing for his second coming, and that in this next general conference, the church would receive more instruction, more revelation and adjustments to prepare the church for his return. Okay, the implications of that statement are truly massive. And this report was sent on February 24th of 2026. Okay, and if this report is accurate, then the message is very clear. The restoration is ongoing. The Lord is still preparing his church and the saints are being invited to become more focused, more covenant- centered, more family centered, and more ready for Jesus Christ. Okay, they begin with the Saturday evening adult session. They start with the state president's remarks, very short notes. says, "The Savior's pattern for sharing the gospel is to love, share, and invite. We should love as the Savior loves." I love this because it focus really on ministering to the one. We continue. Ward Relief Society president also spoke saying, "Uniting families for eternity is a priority." She she spoke about how to help families prepare for the temple by focusing on family search and helping people get to the temple. We need to be temple ready and temple attending. And as just as a reminder, it has often been said that having a temple recommend is akin to having our uh spiritual lamps ready for the bridegroom. And going to the temple allows us to prepare for the second coming in ways that we would not be able to otherwise. The state high council spoke as well as the stake young men's presidency or on behalf of the stake young men's presidency saying we need to work unitedly with the rising generation trust them mentor them and love them. There was a new member testimony who spoke about the power of the atonement and testified that this had been implement implemented in their life in powerful ways. A returned missionary spoke and gave their testimony testifying of the power of the restored gospel. The mission president spoke in emphasizing keeping God first in our lives. Keeping the main thing the main thing keeping the main thing the main thing keeping Jesus Christ at the center of our lives is what I'm assuming he's trying to say there. Then it was time for Elder Lariel Noguera of the 70 to speak. Now, Elder Noguer is from Venezuela and English is not his native language and that's very important for the context of this message. He changed his talk two minutes before he stepped up to the pulpit to speak and he said, "You don't understand how hard that is for me to do, but I know that I need to share this message with each of you. This is a new message." His message was that we need to stop looking into the past, forgive ourselves, and move forward. The Lord needs us to be active and to move forward. What a fascinating phrase. The Lord needs us to be active and to move forward. Okay, that has so many different applications and meanings behind that, but it certainly brings to my mind something very specific and I'll let you know what that is. But you guys share with me in the comments what you think that that means. Why would the Lord need us to move forward and to be active? And what does that have to do with being forgiven? Right now, as someone who has learned a new language and preached from the pulpit myself in Spanish, I can confirm that changing your talk 2 minutes before getting up to the stand would have been an incredible act of faith. But the spirit constrained him and he felt that he needed to share this powerful message. Likely, there was someone or various someone's in the audience who needed to hear it. The Lord needs us to be active members of his church and to move forward. Now, I needed to pause here and just point out before we move on that this is so powerfully reminiscent of President Oaks's BYU devotional given on February 10th in which he testified powerfully that the Lord had instructed him and that he knew what he had to do. He said, "As your leader, the Lord needs well, he emphasizes that the Lord is instructing him that he wants us to be active members of his church." Paraphrasing. So that is very reminiscent of the words that Elder Noguera is using here. Okay, let's continue reading though because Elder Nogua has more to add to this prophetic statement for this specific uh stake. And maybe there are people in my audience who need to hear this message today as well. I feel I certainly feel that there may be people who need to hear this. We continue reading, the Lord works in the present and in the future, not the past. He kept repeating everything is forgiven. It is all forgiven. Meet with your bishop if you need to, but then move forward. The power of the atonement is real. You are worthy. The Lord remembers it no more. Let it go with exclamation points after it. Okay, let me pause here just for a moment again. The spirit confirmed to me as I read this letter that the words were true. And I know that the people in my audience who have sinned perhaps even committed very serious sins. And perhaps you haven't even committed any sins at all. but nonetheless feel an incredible sense of guilt because of how perhaps you were victimized by the actions of truly evil people. Okay, this all applies to you. Whether you're a sinner or not a sinner, it all applies to you. The Lord has seen you and his atonement covers all of it. Let it go. All of it is forgiven. It brought to my mind certain words from an early church father, Justin Martyr. He talked about how God looks at our condition in the present. He doesn't judge us or even remember past sins for which we've been forgiven. He doesn't judge us for sins which we may commit in the future, though he knows us perfectly. The entire plan of salvation rests on the idea of agency and our ability to choose and move forward and that we're able to move forward in our lives and progress into the future without fear that we will be judged by God for things that we might do or things that we have done. Okay, we will read more from Elder Neguera later in this discourse in this letter. He comes up again and it seems like a continuation. I want to emphasize that even though these messages are separated into two different days, right? Sunday and Saturday, these two messages seem to be connected in ways. Let's continue reading. And sat in Sunday morning session, the state president spoke saying, "Mission work is increasing. Don't miss the majesty of this moment. You will be prepared when Christ returns again if you participate in the majesty of the moment." Okay, so isn't that fascinating? He is suggesting again that as we participate in the hastening of the Lord's work in the missionary work is what he's saying that we will be prepared when Christ returns again and a part of that is the exercise of our spiritual gifts as Elder Bedar said so eloquently in this last general conference. Part of preparing for his return is is obtaining the gift the greatest gift which is charity. Right? But all of the spiritual gifts are helping us to come into better communion with him so that when he does return that we know him because we've worked with him this whole time, right? In in performing this work with him in following his instructions. Okay. So, this isn't the first time that we've talked about missionary work being associated with the majesty of the moment that we're currently living in. And the other part of that that I love is when President Nelson said that we would see some of the greatest manifestations that the world has ever seen from now until when he comes again. And that is a very potent promise from a prophet of God. We are seeing the Lord's work continue to hasten in remarkable ways as well. We see people we see the Lord's work hastening and the acceleration just the acceleration of the number of missionaries and the people who are joining the church is truly incredible. Let's continue reading. He emphasized paying tithing. Tithing is a commandment of faith, not money. Avoid contention. He invited us to intentionally seek Jesus Christ daily in our lives. The temple president got up and spoke next. There are no coincidence. He says, "The Lord is lighting everything up for us." Then we continue with Elder Nogua's statements. Elder Nguero of the 70s said, "And taught that we are to support the rising generation." Again, kind of going back to the message that was shared by the state president, he had all of the youth stand up and told them, "You are not alone. We are here to support you." He said the youth were there. He said the He said that the youth who were there at the state conference would be witnesses to more of the restoration of the gospel. He told the youth that they could trust him and he testified that the savior is real. Okay, that is very interesting statement. you will be witness to the restoration of the gospel. Fascinating. Okay. There are so many ways that the restoration continues to roll forward in our day as well. And we're witnessing it as in real time. In the days leading up to General Conference, for example, we saw several major changes. And even after general conference, we saw, for example, the new young women age group names that were announced in April of 2026. We saw the youth curriculum overhauled also in 2020 26 beginning in September of 2026 um in which the ironic priesthood and young women weekly lessons will be tied directly to the revised for the strength of youth curriculum. Lessons material will now also appear in the back of the FSY magazine itself. Number three, we saw a shorter Sunday school meeting classes and the class structure changes to 25 minutes, right? continued temple expansion acceleration. It was announced also that the temples would be announced locally instead of at general conference. We're seeing a stronger emphasis on home-c centered, family centered worship. Okay, that is an overarching theme that I believe is central to our preparation. continued ongoing restoration language has been more and more associated with the ongoing restoration or or rather the the the policy changes that are ongoing right now is what I mean. So continued ongoing restoration language is consistently associated with the changes that are being implemented in the church. And one such example came from Russ Lim Nilson in October of 2018 immediately after announcing major structural changes including to our church home centered gospel learning quorum restructuring and ministering reforms. He said quote eat your vitamin pills get your rest. It's going to be exciting as we see the unfolding of the Lord's fulfilled promise that I will gather my people together as a man gatherth his sheav unto the floor. The ongoing restoration is a process, not an event, and will continue until the Lord comes again. These structural changes have been major adjustments implemented very rapidly this year. This is all a part of preparing for the return of Jesus Christ. Let's continue reading this though. He taught that life is not only about cars, homes, and vacations. Elder Navo emphasized it is more than that. We need to find balance in our lives. It's important to work and provide money for our homes and our families. But we also need to help our families build their testimonies of Jesus Christ and his atonement. They need to know that his is the only name on earth by which we can return to heavenly father. We are living in the last season. The family is under attack in this moment and we need to understand that. We need to protect our families. Please, please, he said this is a time to be more focused on Jesus Christ and his atonement. This is the time to support this beautiful, amazing, rising generation. He expressed gratitude for all the wives and sisters and for their role in the home. He said, "It is not easy being a sister or woman during this time. Women are attacked and told to be something else, not to be mothers. It's not popular to become a grandmother or a mother." He said, "I would like to say it's going to improve in the future, but you know, it's not." Okay, so let's pause here just for a moment. That is a a very striking and a little bit discouraging statement, but it indicates that we can expect the attack on the family and the roles of fathers and mothers, all roles in the family, including children, will continue to be degraded and be attacked over time. Okay. So, that is a very important indicator of what the sa what Satan's uh tactics will be moving forward and we've seen that in the past and we can expect it to continue in the future. Okay, let's continue. That is the reason we need to protect this rising generation. He said this is the time to be more focused on Jesus Christ. This is the time to be more focused and to make covenants, sacrifice, take the sacrament. This is the time to increase the quality time with your family, your wife, your husband, and your children. This is your main responsibility to have family. Okay, this is a very interesting way that he said it to have family. And it's interesting how he framed that that definition of the word family. Okay, he's saying in essence that the definition of having a family is not just being married and having kids. Having family includes spending time together, supporting your spouse and children, focusing on Jesus Christ, living within our sacred ceiling covenants as a family. And that is what it and that is what it truly means to have family. Interestingly, at the beginning of his remarks, he noted that life is not only about cars, homes, and vacations. We need to find a balance. He said, "It is important to work and provide money for our homes. We also need to have family build their testimonies of Jesus Christ and his atonement. They need to know that his is the only name on earth by which we can return to heavenly father. And that in essence is the true definition of a family. It isn't just to have a family and to have kids, but to act like an an eternal family under Heavenly Father. And I like the way that he framed it so clearly, leading us back to our eternal destiny. Exaltation after all is a family matter as President Oaks recently pointed out. Let's continue reading his letter. Said he testified, "I know Jesus Christ lives. I don't have any doubt about it. I know he has talked face to face with our prophet, seer, and revelator. And he is preparing for his second coming. I am a witness. I know Din Jokes is a prophet, seer, and revelator." That is some striking language that he's using there. I am a witness. and he knows that he has talked face to face with God. Okay, that is very sobering. He then said, quote, "In the next general conference, we are going to receive more instruction, more revelation, adjusting the program to prepare the church for his second coming. I am not approved to release any information about it. The restoration is ongoing. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen." Okay, so wow. Okay, that is that is massively intriguing to me. Okay, he testified that Jesus Christ lives. He's he knows that Don Chokes has spoken with him face to face. Then he immediately connected that witness to prepare to preparing for the second coming and to the upcoming adjustments within the church. Again, this letter was written back in February of 2026 and that was right before April 2026 general conference. Hey, fascinating, right? So when Elder Naguara is said that the church would receive more instruction and more revelation and that programs would be adjusted to prepare the church for the second coming, he was pointing specifically and directly toward that conference and the changes surrounding it. These are changes, in other words, the ones that we've just seen that are quietly being implemented right under our noses without many of us truly understanding their significance. as a thief in the night immediately comes to my mind. What are some of the new things that we just saw? Okay, I mentioned some of them already. We saw a solemn assembly as well, though. Sustaining President Oaks as a prophet, seer, and revelator. Could that be significant for our preparation for the second coming? I think I think it's a very good possibility that President Oaks has been specifically prepared for this time and season. Again, we saw the new young women's age age group names changed. We saw class time adjustments which will encourage more family study prior to class. The messages shared at general conference were likewise significant for our preparation whether people recognize that or not. We saw again we saw um as well you know the new uh temple square visitor center was recently dedicated and it contains within it a replica of a temple so that visitors can go and see that. Was that a part of our preparation for the second coming? And we heard several discourses referencing the fullness of the Holy Ghost. We we heard discourses talking about the second comforter and so much more. It was rich and replete with ways in which we can prepare. Even though perhaps the word second coming was not specifically talked about. In other words, this was not merely another normal general conference. It was preparatory. All of it was. And those are the conversations that Elder Noguara is revealing that are happening behind closed doors, so to speak. He's offering us a special glimpse of what is being said when we don't necessarily hear it by the top leadership of the church. Even in state conferences where the second coming is not overtly mentioned, the talks given are specifically to prepare you for the last days in your era in your area because those are the instructions that are being received from leadership to you from the Holy Spirit and not only from the Holy Spirit but from the prophet himself. We heard in various different reports that we've given that instructions are given to the 70 and the 70 pass those instructions down to stake leadership. So it seems apparent to me that one of the church's main concerns right now is preparing for the second coming. And we've said that again and again. We said that in the introduction of this episode. We've said it every Saturday. Every Saturday since we started doing these reports. That isn't apparent to everyone. However, okay? or rather some people believe that the messaging that the church is implementing right now is no different than it was even 10 or 20 years ago. The general conference data however doesn't support that view. The second coming has been directly mentioned not only in so many of these state conference reports that we've done but also in so many overt second coming general conference addresses. Okay? And that hasn't been the case for the past 50 and or 70 years according to what we can research objectively online. People say, you know, oh, this has always been talked about. This is always what the church has emphasized. That is not the case objectively according to the data. Okay? You may have that perception in your mind that that may be the tr that may be the case, but objectively according to the numbers and data that has not been the case in general conference. There's been a marked increase in recent days in second coming mentions. Okay? Okay. And I think that the data is important to follow. Also, with this second coming context in mind, that makes Elder Nogua's other remarks about the family even more significant. Okay. So, the church is not just moving toward individual spiritual self-sufficiency. It appears to be moving toward family unit spiritual self-sufficiency at home. Gospel- centered study. And that that carries um homes, in other words, that can carry revelation, homes that can protect youth, homes that can teach repentance, homes that can preserve covenant identity when the world becomes more unstable and will attack it more. So you see how all of his remarks are coming together. We can move forward in this knowledge, in other words, that we are forgiven. We can come unto the savior and we are being instructed to prepare in our homes for what is coming next. That is why this warning about mothers, fathers, children and the rising generation matters so much. Right now the church is not only preparing individuals to stand, it is preparing families to stand and perhaps more challenge and and perhaps almost certainly I would say certainly more changes are coming. The the restoration is ongoing. Okay, these adjustments are not always announced all at once. Some come before general conference. Some are during general conference. Some come quietly afterwards. Which means the Lord may still be revealing and adjusting his church in ways that arrive when we least expect them. Okay. For those with eyes to see and ears to hear, the pattern is becoming harder to ignore. I know that Jesus Christ leads this church. I know that he will come again soon. I know that as we joyfully prepare to meet him, as the prophet has instructed us to do, that we will find incredible joy in developing our spiritual gifts and coming into closer communion with him.
