The cutter of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. And the cutter, so we speak often about cutter and cutter. Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala he knows everything cuz he, you know, created time. He's beyond time and space. So he knows right now everything that you're going to do. But we have to understand that, you know, the book of destiny is descriptive, it's not prescriptive. I'll say that again. The book of destiny is pre- it's descriptive, it's not prescriptive. Meaning it doesn't mean that Allah by writing everything he's forcing you to do it. It's just that he knows what you're going to do. But Allah gave you that free will, so he is just writing what he knows you're going to do with your free will. Your book of destiny simply contains what Allah knows that you're going to do with your free will. I love you too, inshallah. Jazakallah khairan on TikTok. Barakallahu feekum. You're too kind, inshallah ta'ala. And then [music] if any of you have questions you can feel free inshallah to come on board and ask your questions inshallah shortly. Sister Amina, if you do have a question inshallah, shortly I'll let you know you can unmute yourself and ask your question if you have it. Uh if anybody else wants to join, let me know I can bring you on and then you can jump on to uh YouTube. If you want to come on to the live from TikTok, jump on to the YouTube which is uh Muslim Hub Club, Muslim Hub Club. Join the YouTube and you'll find a StreamYard link. Click on it and inshallah if you come on board, I can actually uh bring you on the screen and you can ask your question inshallah ta'ala. That's that's easiest. Uh if you want to come directly on um um uh TikTok it'll be difficult cuz I'm you know, I'm actually listening. I've got a bunch of screens going. Just kind of almost you know it's it's hard to um I've got one, two, three screens, so that's why I might not be looking directly at you depending, you know, where you're watching from. Were you born Muslim? Alhamdulillah, yes, I was I was born Muslim, but I wasn't religious. And actually I turned away from Dean and then Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala I had my journey and then I came back to it. Can you talk about Sufism? Yes, Sufism in its it it's the science of sincerity. Just like there are, you know, devious scholars and there are wonderful scholars. There are deviant Sufis and there are decent Sufis out there. But unfortunately a lot of the practices of a lot of the Sufis nowadays, you know, you'll they'll they'll practice things like they'll leave things that are obligatory for they'll sing and dance and and and they're not reading the Quran, for example, or they're missing their salahs. They don't really get it because the word the worst thing out there like Sheikh Hamza says says, "The worst thing is an ignorant Sufi." He can easily be led astray by the shaitan. So stay away from any group. Like don't belong to Sufis, don't belong just be Muslim. But it doesn't mean you can't benefit. So if there's a gathering and you know they're people of knowledge, not just like goofy Sufis like I like to call them. But if they're, you know, they're you Allah's commands and sharia are above everything else, then yeah, go and sit and listen. But if you notice anything that is against the sharia, give it a miss. Um but some they're, you know, some of the greatest Sufis, you know, of our times that practice the Suf like Imam Ghazali, Ibn Ata'illah al-Sakandari, Imam Junayd, you know, they're they're are some of the the great ones, Imam Abul Hasan al-Shadhili. They were incredible. But ilm and knowledge was above everything for them. And then you have some Sufis where it's like, you know Sheikh Hamza recently was sharing a story like, you know the the Sufi that was praying Friday prayers at home because he said Rasulullah was praying with him in his house. Those guys are the ones that stabbed themselves and the ones that are dancing up and down like crazy and just it's it's Do you see the entire Muslim ummah getting together and wearing green um you know, those green uh caps and and and dancing and twirling around. Do you see the ummah as a whole gathering and doing that, uniting and do you really see it? I don't. So it doesn't mean that they're bad. They're some of them are very genuine and sincere. And even the ones that I talk about that wear the green, the Naqshbandi Sufis. You know, some of them are very genuine and very knowledgeable and and very close, closer to Allah probably than any of us, you know, I don't know. But I think Allah's preparing something with this new generation that's going to be all about Quran and Sunnah. Uh you know, are they a sect? Um no, Sufis are not a sect. You know, a sect is you know, to be part of a sect you you you have to claim that unless people follow your group they are astray. That's the definition the of a sect. But these are different movements like tasawwuf the the act of purifying the nafs, it's part of our Dean. Qad aflaha man zakaha. So it's just they they they [music] they put together methodologies for purifying the nafs. You know. Cuz it's hard to operate on yourself. So it's good to have some company or righteous company and people to. But to find a proper Sufi Sheikh in these days, I can tell you the majority of them are are are wonky. And uh they they they have deviant agendas and I would give them a miss. The majority. So unless you're really lucky. And it doesn't mean that there aren't some that are genuine. But I believe they're few they're few. Based on my experience and and and going around. So it doesn't mean they don't exist, but just be very careful. You know, if you meet a Sheikh and you're very attracted towards that Sheikh and whatnot just learn your Dean. Memorize the Quran. Take tafsir classes. Go to um sign up to whitethread.org. Sign up to their subscription and start, you know, take their essentials in in the Dean. Watch all those classes. Uh do something useful. You know. I heard that yoga in Islam is haram. The reason they say it's haram is because it it has origins from Hinduism and things of the like shirky type. Why is it that we need yoga? See, it's it's all part of we have salah. See, with yoga so much fun because shaitan promotes it. In fact, people that meditate through yoga they're like, "Wow, I feel so at ease." It's cuz shaitan is not bothering you. He's happy with you doing it. He's like, "Keep at it." But trying to pray two rak'ahs with mindfulness. You know, there's a special shaitan assigned to you just to ruin your prayer. So our Dean is complete. We don't need yoga. You know, we have our prayer, we have everything. But to say that someone who's practicing is doing something haram most people that that's a kind of a long shot cuz most people that practice it do it for health purposes and to stretch and they're not really doing it for religious purposes. So just don't be quick to judge people and call them mushrikeen or kuffar or or or practicing bid'ah just because they're doing yoga. Like have husn al-dhann. Have a good opinion. Salah is like a yoga workout. Salah is better than a yoga workout. Has everything. If you pray tahajjud you know, it's the best stretch in the world. If you do it, you know, physically it's good for the outside and the inside. All aspects, inshallah. Okay. >> [sighs] >> Let's see. Let's see. EJ, but if I eat because I am hungry and after I'm not hungry no more and I am thankful to Allah for giving me food, am I not also fulfilling God's command by being thankful? Absolutely, yeah. Don't complicate it, you know. If you're you're eating and then you're making shukr to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala. But the true shukr of food is not but to eat and not be extravagant. Cuz one thing is thanking him with your tongue. But the true shukr i'malu ala Dawuda shukra wa qalilum min ibadiya shukur. True shukr is through your actions. And there's a few that practice that type of shukr according to Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala.
