Stewarding a Call Greater than Yourself

was here giving a tour of Keith's school and a moment of clarity today. You know, when I was a young boy, I had my own lawn care company and I worked hard. I showed up and I got my own clients and I, you know, I had this feeling of I did this. There's been a lot of things in life where I feel like I did these things. I've come into these moments just recently where God's done bigger things than I would have ever tried to do. like buying a huge junior high school. And I realize as I step into these new lands, these new ventures that has nothing to do with me. I'm not smart enough or wealthy enough or talented enough to make these things happen. They're simply gifts. They're actually challenges to steward such a a structure, to steward such a project. It's not mine. I rolled up on this building today and I just kind of laughed at myself because there was nothing inside of me that said, "This is mine. God's done more than I can do." And in that is just a great deal of clarity, wisdom, peace. So, whatever you're up to today, I ask that you would uh just dig deep and ask yourself, "How did I really get here?" Was it because you're just so hardworking and so smart, fortunate? Or is it because God has given you something that quite frankly you don't deserve? He's given you something to steward that's even beyond your own abilities and capacities. Lean into that and know it's not yours. It's his. Naked we came, naked we leave. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
