It's back. Today's traffic source is called Flipboard, and it claims to receive over 100 million visitors every month. And this is how one content creator used it to drive traffic to his website to get over 300,000 views for free. Now, Flipboard is back because it stopped accepting new signups for a while, but it has recently opened the door again. So if you have been waiting to drive traffic to your website from Flipboard, now is the perfect time to jump in before it becomes saturated with other marketers. Okay, so Flipboard is kind of like if Pinterest and Medium had a baby. It's really a visual discovery content platform. It's filled with users where they create magazines and these magazines are filled with articles on niche topics that they are interested in. The cool thing is other users can discover and then flip that content into their own magazines. And the key difference between this and Pinterest is that you don't need to create any custom graphics or infographics because Flipboard will automatically pull your featured image from your articles, which means you can just carry on and flip your content in seconds. Okay, so first head over to flipboard.com and create your free account. And then once you're in, you want to create your first magazine. Think of magazines as content categories. So, for example, if you're a food blogger, you might have magazines for things like quick recipes or meal prep ideas or healthy desserts. So, to create a magazine, click the create a flip button in the top right hand corner, then click new magazine. Give your magazine a descriptive title and add keywords that are relevant to your target audience, something that they might be searching for. Then add a short description. And again, make sure to include your target keywords in a way that sounds natural. When you're ready to start adding content to your magazine, here you've got a few options. So, the first way is to start a conversation in this magazine. And that's great if you want to add written content, but really we want to drive traffic to a website from Flipboard. So, click the link icon just here in the middle and then you can paste your article URL in here and then Flipboard will automatically pull your featured image and create the flip for you. And this next bit is really important because this is where most people screw up and then they end up with no traffic. So, it all comes down to three things that Flipboard's algorithm is really looking for. If you miss any one of these, you won't get as much traffic as you could. Oh, and also hit the subscribe button and like this video to tell YouTube's algorithm to give you more content like this. And that also helps me out a bit too. Okay, so the number one most important thing for the Flipboard algorithm is recency. So, Flipboard's algorithm heavily favors fresh content, and multiple bloggers have confirmed this. So, when you publish new content, you need to flip that to Flipboard immediately. But listen, there's a problem with this because what happens if you have dozens or even hundreds of blog posts? Well, you just can't keep flipping the same old URLs, right? because Flipboard will eventually see that they're not fresh and and it'll think that it's spam. So, I've actually got a separate workaround called content cloning that's going to let you share old posts that have a brand new timestamp. So, that's specifically for Flipboard and it's going to help you to get more traffic without touching your original SEO optimized content. that's available for download in my members area right now. Okay. So, the second way to manipulate the Flipboard algorithm is engagement. You see, Flipboard's official blog even states that flips, comments, likes, shares, and views are all good signals that Flipboard uses to determine if a piece of content is good or not. And good content will be pushed out to a wider audience. And this is why successful Flipboard users recommend doing a 3:1 ratio. What that means is, so for every one piece of content that you flip of your own content, you want to flip at least three other people's pieces of content. So for every three pieces of content of other people's content you you flip, you can get away with flipping one of your own. That's a good balance to have. You see, Flipboard really wants to see if you're a team player who's sharing valuable content, so it knows that you're not just someone who's trying to abuse the platform and and spam. And then speaking of being a team player, Flipboard has something called group magazines. Now, group magazines are massive. So, some of them have hundreds of thousands of followers, and you can get your content into those magazines. And when you do, you're basically tapping into massive established audiences. And I already have a guide for you in the members area that will show you exactly how to find these group magazines and how to get accepted as a contributor. And then also I'm going to show you how to find the ones that are actually worth your time and will send you the most traffic. Okay. So the third part in influencing the Flipboard algorithm, it's kind of a two-part thing. So it's consistency and quality. So, you have to be pretty consistent with Flipboard, but not too consistent. So, most successful content creators limit themselves to five flips per magazine per day to avoid being seen as spam. And then they'll create magazines around specific niche topics to help Flipboard's algorithm understand really what their content is all about. Now, the key here is having a good daily routine that's efficient because most successful Flipboard users that I've studied spend about 20 minutes a day on the platform, but they are very strategic about what they do in those 20 minutes. And again, to help you out, I've got that guide available for you where I break down exactly a a good daily workflow for you. what to do first, what to do last, and how to maximize your results without wasting your time. But basically, here's a really quick way to manipulate the Flipboard algorithm if you're not one of my members to spike your website traffic. This is called the multi-magazine amplification strategy, and it works like this. So, instead of flipping your article into just one magazine, you create three to five niches specific magazines. For example, if I was in the health niche, then I might create individual magazines focused on, let's say, keto and low carb meal prep. Or I could go with, well, maybe sugar-free living or detox or maybe intermittent fasting for beginners. So, once you have your new magazines created, you do these three things. Number one, create and publish a new piece of content on your website. Then step two, flip your new content into all of your niche magazines at the same time. And step three, immediately reflip two to three high-erforming articles from other popular creators into those same magazines. Now, this works great because it spikes activity in your magazines and it signals to Flipboard's algorithm that your magazines are active and they're being curated. And this increases the likelihood of your original article being recommended in the broader for you feeds. And that effectively multiplies your reach from a single piece of content. and it should send you a new wave of fresh traffic to your website for free. But listen, if you are serious about free website traffic, take a look at how I got over 30,000 website visitors per day when you click the link in the description or go to profitcopilot.com/tra or scan the QR code somewhere on this video.
