This is Wizard Rod, and it is by far the best X Beyblade ever created. It's completely round, spins for an insane amount of time, and has unworldly defense. It was released almost 2 years ago, and it is still dominating real life Beyblade tournaments. In fact, I lost to it probably around 100 times. I hate this Beyblade, and so does most of the community. But what happens if you take the best Beyblade ever created and evolve it in a completely [music] different but similarly overpowered way in order to create a counter to the unstoppable Beyblade and bring balance to the meta? Well, that is exactly what Liliana the Witch thought when she commissioned this Beyblade from our channel 3D modeler Spooky were both so kind to let me feature this Beyblade on this channel. This is Witch Staff, the evolved version and counterpart to Wizard Rod. The design, I have to say, is just so cool. It has magical orbs all around the Beyblade that have Nordic runes inscribed on them, which according to Norse mythology, have a strong connection to magic and hidden knowledge. But the Beyblade isn't only cool because of its design. Just like Wizard Rod, it's a UX Beyblade, meaning it has a plastic core and a metal outer ring. This weight distribution gives the Beyblade a high moment of inertia, meaning it's going to be more resistant to slow down spinning compared to other Beyblades. This is one of the reasons why Wizard Rod is so good. But unlike Wizard Rod, which dominates because of its almost perfectly round shape, which allows it to easily deflect attacks and resist air drag, which staff has a different way to win? Destabilization. Destabilization is one of the most crucial but underrated ways to win a Beyblade battle. Instead of trying to outspin your opponent or knocking them out, the goal is to slowly break your opponent's balance, causing them to run out of stamina. Every spinning object wants to stay upright because of angular momentum. Angular momentum resists change to the direction of a spinning object's [music] axis. If something tries to tilt it, the rotation pushes back and keeps it upright. So, basically, when a Beyblade tilts, it's going to try to stop tilting. And usually, that's a good thing. But every time a Beyblade corrects itself, [music] it loses energy. And the less energy a Beyblade has, the slower it spins. Witch staff is engineered to abuse this. It has a low profile which lowers its center of mass, allowing it to get underneath Beyblades. So when it makes contact with other Beyblades, the force is applied below their center of rotation, causing the Beyblade to tilt slightly offaxis. One hit won't do much, but a bunch of small hits add up. Witch staff also has wavy contact points unlike Wizard Rod's smooth contact points. This allows Witch Staff to get irregular uneven collisions which produce tiny burst of vibrations causing the opponent to lose balance more easily. So in summary, Witch Staff doesn't win through just pure spin. It's not engineered to counter Wizard Rod through raw power, but through breaking it piece by piece until even the most powerful Beyblade in the world can no longer stand. Now that's all in theory. So, let's go test it out and see how this Beyblade does in real life. And now that we explained the science behind the Beyblade, it's time to test it out. And if you guys want to print this Beyblade at home, I'll have all the files linked in the description, and you can use JLC 3DP to print them, the channel sponsor, but also really the best way to print metal 3D parts. All you have to do is go to their website, upload your parts, pick your material. I usually go with stainless steel for the metal and for the plastic I either go with nylon or resin 801. Nylon is more durable, but the clear resin looks so good and you can dye them any color you want. Like just look at my witch staff. The blue looks amazing. Anyway, after you picked your material, next you just have to fill out the description. So for Beyblade, it's toy part and you're done. It's that easy. Submit order. An engineer will go over your parts. Usually, they'll say your walls are a little too thin if you want to proceed with the risks. Beyblades are just small by nature, so it's inevitable, but I've printed over a hundred parts from them, and I've never had a problem just accepting the risks. Now, with the Beyblade fully put together and printed, I'm going to put it through three different tests to see how strong it is. Test number one, the stock combo test. I'm gonna test which staff against classic stock combo babe plates, the ones in the anime and the ones you get straight out of the box. Test number two, the competitive test. I'm going to put which staff up against competitive combos that have been destroying real life tournaments. And test number three, the wizard rod test. In the final test, we'll put Witch Staff up against the best Beyblade combo in the combo it was engineered to defeat and see if he can actually win. Let's get started. So, the combo I decided to use on witch staff is 560 ball. Mainly because it kind of just matched the color scheme. But yeah, before we do any battles, let's do a test launch. Ready? 3 2 1 go. And there we have it. Which staff? It seems pretty standard stamina type Beyblade. Pretty balanced, but again, its main weapon is destabilization. And you can't really see that when you just launch the Beyblade by itself. So, let's just get straight into the battles. The first Beyblade we're going to put it up against is Rhino Horn 380 Spike. Let's just pick this guy up and let's see how good this Witch Staff Beyblade really is. All right, there we go. Witchdaf versus Rhino Horde. Smacking him around. There's a destabilizationist. Okay. All right. [laughter] Oh, okay. Definitely making him off balance. Oh, this is so cool. Cool. It's working exactly how we engineered it. And it's so stable itself. It's just making Rhino Horn go crazy. And there we go. That's an easy win. All right. I think we have to go much stronger. Let's do Scorpion Spear. So, this is the heaviest UX Beyblade. [music] It hits like a truck and stock combo is actually pretty solid. So, if it can defeat Scorpion Spear, I'd say it's a pretty good Beyblade. Scorpion Spear. Oh. Oh my gosh. Oh, solid hits and it just jumps to the pocket. We'll do another battle. Go, go. All right. Scorpion Stewart winding up a solid attack, but he ate it. Oh, another solid attack. And he bursted because he's lower than the other blade. [laughter] I guess that was like an unintentional consequence. Or I guess it's it's not a consequence. [music] It's a good thing because the blade is so much it's not that much lower, but it's slightly lower than most other [music] blades. It's able to target the ratchet a little easier. Anyway, did really well against [music] Scorpion Spear. Next up, let's try it against a stronger attack type. [music] Here we have Phoenix Wing, or I guess Scorpion Spear is a balance type, but you saw it. It was basically an attack type. All right. Phoenix Wing versus Staff. Okay. All right. Oh, I guess attack types, you can't really see the destabilization, but it is still a solid stamina type Beyblade, even if it can't destabilize its opponent. And there it goes. Destroys Phoenix Wing. Go. [snorts] We'll do first to two points or first to two battles. Phoenix Wing. Okay. Solid hit. Oh, and Witch Staff jumps into the pocket. So, the score is one to one. All right, we finally got a win off of Witch Staff. Now, this isn't like a super overpowered Beyblade by any means, but it just defeated Phoenix Wing 2 to1. It's not super overpowered by any means. It weighs [music] just as much as Wizard Rod, if not a little less. So, it shouldn't be overwhelming like our perfect Beyblades. But even so, it's doing really well because the destabilization gimmick is just really good. [music] And I think our final test uh for stock combo Beyblades is going to have to be Silver Wolf. Now, Silver Wolf probably has the [music] best stock combo in the game. In fact, you could probably buy a Silver Wolf straight out of the box and use it and win a real life Beyblade tournament. That's just how good the stock combo is. So, let's see how silver wolf does against our witch staff combo, which is again supposed to destabilize stamina types, but silver wolf just because uh unlike wizard rod, it is still a UX Beyblade, but it has more metal towards the center, which does actually give it better stability. [music] So, if anything, this is like uh witch staff's final test. Can [music] it destabilize the Beyblade meant to be stable? And let's see. All right. As you can tell, even these hits aren't destabilizing [music] much, but it is kind of tilting. So, it is kind of working. Wait, it's kind of working. Wait, it worked. [gasps] All right, that is 1.2 witch staff. Let's see if that was a fluke, though. Let's try it one more time. Witch staff versus silver wool. Wait, this witch staff combo is kind of OP. We It's kind of an OP Beyblade. Even though it wasn't meant to be like super overwhelming, it's doing very solid. And as you can tell, those small hits, they're adding up. Like Silver Wolf is kind of tilting. Oh my gosh. Wait, [laughter] this big kind of busted. Anyway, it destroyed stock combo Beyblades. Let's move on to test number two. Test number two, the competitive test. The four competitive combos I'm going to test which staff against are Hover Wyvern 960 kick, Shark Scale 160 Low Rush, Silver Wolf 760 Freeball, and Clock Mirage 455 Low Orb. If Witchaf is able to beat three out of these four Beyblades, we'll say it passes the test. [music] which staff did pretty well against stock combo Beyblades, but let's see if it can actually hold its own against [music] competitive combos. Who should we start with first? You know what? Let's start with some power. Here we have Shark Scale. And because we are using competitive combos, we'll abide by competitive rules. Extreme finish three points. Pocket out two points. Burst finish two points. [music] And spin finish one point. We'll do let's just do first to three points just because we have four combos to get through. All right, here we go. Oh my gosh. Okay, well, since we are abiding by tournament rules, if the Beyblade goes over the stadium, that counts as a real [laughter] one. Oh my goodness. Shark scale just scooped him up. I'm a little scared now. Oh, okay. Extreme finish. We're not going to count that. No contact. All right, so the score is still 0 to zero. Both Beyblades are in the stadium. Shark skill misses. Okay. Oh, a burst. No. Okay. So, that is two points to shark scale there. [music] Let's see if which staff can come back. All right. Okay. Oh, no. An extreme finish. Okay. Well, I guess we didn't really engineer it to beat attack type Beyblades, but still it loses to shark scale, which means if it loses just one more time, it's going to fail test [music] number two. Next up, let's do the other attack type. Here we have Wyvern Gale 960 kick. All right, score is 0 to zero. Oh, okay. An insanely strong kit launching him into the pocket. That is one or actually two points to which staff. All right, it just needs one more point to win. It just needs to survive these crazy hits from Wyverngill. It doesn't help that witch staff is also kind of a somewhat recoil heavy shade. But there it goes. You know what? It worked to its benefit. It destroyed or did I say wyvern gale? Hover wyvern. I keep mixing those up. Hover wyvern. Wyvern Gale. Anyway, you guys can forgive me. Let's move on to the next competitive Beyblade. Silver Wolf 763 Free Ball. So, this is just like a slightly upgraded version of Stock Combo Silver Wolf. And that is just how good stock combo Silver Wolf was. All you got to do is replace the ratchet and it becomes an actual competitively viable Beyblade that people actually decide to use on their team uh instead of some people even prefer uh Silver Wolf over Wizard Rod, which to me is [music] kind of crazy, but I mean some people like it that way. Anyway, let's see how it does. The 760 ratchet does keep the Beyblade slightly more stable just because it's smaller than 380 which is on the original stock combo. So, as you can see, it's not tilting as much, but at the same time, we didn't get as hard of hits this battle. So, let's see if even with without those hard destabilization hits if Witch Staff will be able to win. And it was able to get a pretty great destabilization hit right there before. And let's see. Yes, barely. Witch staff takes it. The score is one to nothing. Again, we're doing first to three points, so this might be a little bit of a boring battle. Felix, speed through this. Oh, and actually, Silver Wolf takes that one. The score is one to one. Go shoot. Go shoot. All right. Witchab versus Silver Wolf. A solid. Oh, another solid hit right there. Okay. Oh, and a pocket out. The score is 3 to one. And that means we're on to our last competitive combo. Here is Clock Mirage 355 [music] Low Orb. Now, this is probably the least competitive out of all the competitive combos we've used so far. Clock Mirage isn't the most popular Beyblade just because it bursts all the time, but the thing is, [music] this Beyblade has amazing stamina. So, I really want to test out the Beyblade with the best stamina against [music] which staff to see if the destabilization gimmick actually works as intended. [music] Anyway, let's get this started. 3 2 1 go. There is Clock Mirage. And there is Witch Staff. Oh my gosh. Wait, it hit so hard it took off some of my stadium. I need to get a new stadium lit. The fist like totally destroyed it. Anyway, let's see how Witch Staff does against Clock. Wait, the stamina might have been too much. Clock Mirage turned into an attack type for a [music] second and then totally like drained all [laughter] of his stamina. No. [gasps] Which staff? The score is one to nothing. There's Clock Mirage. Let's see it. Oh, okay. And that's why Clock Mirage kind of sucks. It just bursted. That is two points to witch staff. All right. The score is two to one. Let's see it. Oh, okay. And then uh another burst. [laughter] Okay. You know what? I want to see him win by spin finish, but I think the next test, test number three, is actually [music] the ultimate test. And finally, the ultimate test, Wizard Rod 160 Hexa. This combo is by far the best combo out right now. Almost every competitive deck runs it, and I've lost to it countless times. Which staff was made to defeat it? But can it actually? Let's find out. For this battle, let's do first to four points. All right, I'm a little nervous, but [laughter] let's just get this started. All right, here we go. Witch staff versus wizard rod. It is so stable. Look how stable wizard rod is. But again, which staff specializes in destabilization? Oh man, [laughter] even so those hits, I mean, they would have destabilized a different Beyblade, but Wizard Rod's taking it. I take it back the second I say that totally crumbled a bit, but it's back to being stable. And actually, which staff looks like the one that's tilted? Which staff is out? Okay, that is one point to Wizard Rod. All right. Can which staff defeat Wizard Raw? This is the Beyblade. It was kind of engineered to defeat. So, I mean, if it doesn't beat it, then what was the point of making this thing? I take it back. I mean, it looks really cool and it did really well against the other Beyblades. But, it really does need to defeat the most powerful Beyblade because that was the main purpose in its creation. All right, solid hits there. But it's so stable. It's so stable in the center. The Beyblade might just be too stable. It might have such a great moment of inertia that destabilizing is so difficult. I say that and then it immediately starts to destabilize. [laughter] All right. Yes. The score is one to one. Tying it up. All right. Which staff? Wait, let me relaunch that. Try that again. Witch staff versus Wizard Rod. All right, both Beyblades in the stadium avoiding each other. Come on. Which staff you need to hit Wizard Rod? Wizard Rod definitely has more stamina than you. Oh, I take it back after that. After an extreme finish like that or extreme attack like that, it might not. Okay. I really like the color scheme, too. It's a It's blue versus yellow. I I really love that. We were thinking of I think the original actually which staff was purple. I'll have an image of that on screen on the side over [laughter] there. But Spooky and I were deciding between if we want to make it for the video yellow or blue. In the end, we decide blue. And there it goes. It destabilizes wizard rod making it scrape a bit. And in the end, a tie. [laughter] Oh man. Wait. Okay. They might actually be equal. They might [laughter] they might be equally matched. The score is one to one still. All right. Wow. Okay. Oh no. Oh no. A pocket out. So now the score is 3 to one. Wizard Rod only needs one more point to win. Which staff? You can't lose this. If you do, I guess it's over. All right. Just avoiding wizard rod. You got to go in. You got to hit him. You got to hit him, man. You need something big. You need something. Why am I talking to these Beyblades like they they can hear me? They're just SPINNING [laughter] TONS. OH MY GOD. NEVER MIND. THEY CAN'T HEAR ME. Extreme finish. Witch death takes it. Defeating wizard [laughter] rod. Yes, let's go. Exactly what it was made to do. And thank you again to Spooky and Liliana the Witch for letting me use their Beyblade for this video. [music] It was a lot of fun to use. And it actually did really well considering that it's not actually that heavy of a Beyblade. And the reason it did well was just because of its shape. Its shape was just so ideal. Uh, the gimmick worked amazing and it was able to destabilize even Wizard Rod. Anyway, see you guys later. Have a nice day. Left burst down.
