How Not to Fail a Date?

There are two chairs and the guys sitting on them are both getting ready for a date with the girl of their dreams. On the blue chair, he wants to make a big impression. So, he pulls out the only suit he owns from his high school graduation. On the red chair, he just wants to enjoy the evening. He wears simple, comfortable clothes that make him feel confident. Of course, the blue guy can't show up in his rusty old car, so he rents a flashy one instead. After all, he's not some loser, right? The red guy just takes the subway. The restaurant's only two stops away anyway. Faster and way more convenient. The blue guy picks a fancy restaurant and orders oysters that smell like seaweed. He hates them, but rich guys eat this, right? The red guy suggests a cozy, familiar place with fair prices and food he actually enjoys. All evening, the blue guy talks about himself and his success, trying to impress her, but she just feels awkward and wants to leave. The red guy doesn't pretend to be someone he's not. He's honest about himself. He listens to her and genuinely wants to get to know her better. After dinner, the blue guy's date quickly calls a cab and leaves with no plans to see him again. The red guy walks her home and they already set up their next date. Of course, she says yes. One just stayed true to himself and built his happiness. The other tried to be someone he wasn't, and he's still waiting for her reply.
