Chapter 1. 6 years after the Q.B. attack, in a country known as the land of fire, there stood a village. Not just any village, but a village filled with ninjas known as Shinobi and Kunowichi. This village was known as the hidden leaf village or Kanagakur as most knew it. This village was considered the largest, most powerful, and most prosperous of all the elemental nations. It was known for its strict teachings and its belief that teamwork is everything. But our story doesn't begin there. No, our story begins with a happy and familiar family. Or so it seems. This family consisted of four members and their children, a boy and a girl. But this story focuses on the individuals within it. The father of this seemingly happy family was the village leader, the fourth Hokag, and his name was Minado Namicase, who had earned the nickname Yellow Flash because of his speed. He was a man with bright blue eyes and spiky blonde hair. Minato also had bangs that reached his jawline and framed both sides of his face. According to his teacher, Jeriah, Minado was considered very handsome. The mother of this family was a beautiful woman named Kusha Namices, akuna which he feared throughout the village because of her temper. I rasible. For this reason, she earned the nickname the Red Devil due to the way her vibrant and unique red hair stood on end when she was angry. She had a slender but feminine build, fair skin, violet eyes, and intense red hair. A common trait among members of the Yuzumaki clan, which fell to her waist with strands framing both sides of her face and a black hair pin that parted her hair to the left, keeping it away from her eyes. The two girls were 6 years old. One of them had her mother's red hair and blue eyes. Her name was Narumi. The girl's twin had blonde hair like her father, but violet eyes, and her name was Naruko. The story doesn't revolve around these children either. No, it was about a boy and his twin sister, both 8 years old. The boy's name was Narudo, and it was clear he would be handsome and a heartthrob. He had a slender figure without an ounce of baby fat. All you could see were the small outlines of the tiny but compact muscles he possessed. He had short blonde hair with a red fringe that covered his left side. The girl looked very much like her brother. She was a beautiful child and would become more so everyday. Her name was Kasumi. She had a small, petite figure that also showed no signs of baby fat. And she had slight muscles like her brother. She also had short blonde hair with a red fringe that covered her right eye. Both children's eyes were the same with sky blue on the outside and violet on the inside of the iris. These were the forgotten children of Manado Namicase and Kushin Namicase and their names were Narudo and Kasumi. These two children displayed a cold and rude personality to almost everyone in Kenoha except for each other where they showed the most beautiful smiles ever seen. Right now, we see the boy and his sister looking out the window of their two-story house. The brother is holding his sister close, their fingers intertwined, as if comforting each other while they watch their parents train their younger sisters. They always asked their parents to train them, but they were usually ignored in favor of their sisters. Perhaps they wonder why because 6 years ago, a masked man attacked their mother while she was giving birth to their brother on the outskirts of town. The masked man managed to seize the Ninetales from his mother and unleashed a rampage that began to destroy the village. Minato managed to lure the Ninetales to a secluded spot outside the village. And with Kushina's help, they not only defeated him by briefly sealing his chakra, but after expelling him, they were able to divide and seal the Ninetales chakra within the newborn girls and return Kushin's soul to her, leaving her stable enough to survive. The removal of her chakra destroyed most of her chakra network, effectively ending her career as a Kunoichi. Narumi and Naruko were presented to the village by their parents who told them they were the village jailers and would protect the village from harm, making them heroes revered by the villagers. The problem was that the older siblings were ostracized in their village and the family was rejected by their sisters. Almost everyone forgot that the Hokag had two older children. The brothers grew up in the shadow of their younger sisters. They were always forgotten at family events like vacations, parties, dinners, and even their own birthdays. Their parents simply considered them a nuisance, and they would finally make one last attempt to earn their recognition before giving up. Now, we can find Narudo and Kasumi wandering through the Name's family library, which will surely make them stand out in their own home. Kasumi Chan, have you found anything yet? I'm getting bored of looking for junk, asked Narudo, who was huddled under scrolls and trying to get up, but failing miserably. Sigh. No, not yet. Get up from under that pile of scrolls and help me, please. Kasumi told her brother, tossing a random scroll that comically hit him on the head, causing a bump on his face. As Kasumi laughed at him, Narudo opened the scroll she had thrown titled chakra control practice, and he began to read it. Kasumi Chan, I found something that shows detailed descriptions of how to climb trees and walk on water, Narudo said excitedly while his sister was in the same state as him. Then let's go to our favorite spot because it'll be perfect for training, Kasumi wisely told Naro, who simply nodded, engrossed in reading the scroll. Then she took his hand and intertwined their fingers before they both ran off to the spot. In the secret place, Narudo and Kasumi arrived at the secret place they both longed for. It was a lush green clearing in the middle of the forest. It contained a small lake of crystal clearar water. Vibrant and beautiful plants surrounded the lake along with animals running through the clearing or sleeping in the grass. When they arrived, all the animals watched them before returning to their activities, knowing that the two visitors would not harm them. Well then he says that to run between trees we'll have to add chakra to our feet and get the right amount otherwise it won't work. Narudo informed them while observing a 4.5 m tall tree. 3 2 1 go. They both shouted in unison and upon reaching the tree they reacted differently. Narudo hadn't gathered enough chakra in his feet causing him to slip and fall on his back. Kasumi reacted in the opposite way and gathered too much chakra which made her jump out of the tree and land on top of her brother. For the next 2 hours, they both practiced climbing the tree and perfecting their technique. Afterward, they began learning the technique of walking on water, which allowed them to soak their clothes after learning and perfecting it for 5 hours. "We finally did it, sister. Now we can show them they weren't useless. Narudo said to his sister, rubbing her head, which rested in his lap. Kasumi simply nodded before getting up and taking her brother's hand, intertwining their fingers as always before they both set off for home with smiles on their faces, ready to show their parents what they had learned. What they never saw were two beautiful women in the tree watching them run off into the distance. One had snow white hair, while the other had completely black hair. Such loving smiles. It always surprises me that they can still show that expression because of the lives they lived, said the white-haired woman who wore a smile on her face that showed love and longing for the two children who left. Don't worry, sister. They'll soon be our children, and they'll never be sad again. But it's strange how they act like lovers, never apart, and always walking hand in hand. I wouldn't be surprised if something happened between them soon. The dark-haired woman said to her companion, laughing with her hand over her mouth. The white-haired woman simply shook her head but nodded at the same time. With that, the two women turned and vanished as if they were figments of someone's imagination. At Namke's house, Narudo and Kasumi arrived home and went to look for their parents. They found them sitting in the shade having lunch without them. They were used to it, but it still hurt a little. The duo approached the family and took their time so as not to scare them or get into trouble. Hi, Mom. Dad, Kasumi, and I want to show you something we've been working on all day. Narudo told his parents, who sighed because they just wanted to eat lunch, but nodded and gestured for them to begin. When Narudo and Kasumi started walking on water and through the trees, his parents felt a mixture of amazement and anger. While Naruko and Narumi were surprised that their older siblings could do something they couldn't yet do. "Slap! Who taught you to do this?" Minato and his wife shouted, having just slapped the children, who now lay in shock on the floor. They rubbed the red marks on their faces, which would likely turn into bruises due to the bluish color. We just walked into the family library, took a scroll, and taught ourselves, said Narudo, surprised and angry. Because he and his sister had been beaten for no apparent reason. "And who told you to take anything? Go to your room and don't come out." Kusha shouted and tried to hit the children again. But when he did something interesting, when the slap landed on Naruto's skin, it felt like he'd hit a steel wall and his hand stung. They looked at their children and were a little startled because they could have sworn that Narudo and Kasumi's eyes changed for a split second. The pupils of their eyes turned red, the whites of their eyes turned completely black, and the bruises that would have been on their faces vanished in an instant. If they had looked more closely, they might have seen something trying to emerge from the back of their shirts. These changes, however, only lasted for a fraction of a second, and they simply assumed it was their imagination. Narudo and Kasumi glared at their parents just as they had at everyone else in the village, causing Kusha and Minato to flinch in astonishment as they met their gaze. The twins faces became expressionless and their voices sounded subdued. "All right, Hokag Sama and Nam Sama, we'll go to our room for interrupting your lunch," Narudo said in a completely emotionless tone. The parents looked disappointed at not being addressed as mother or father. Meanwhile, Naruko and Natsumi remained silent throughout the entire test, unsure of what to do in this situation. Narudo and Kasumi stormed off, trembling with rage, while Kasumi simply took her brother's hand to calm them. Reaching their room, they opened the door, only to be bathed in a brilliant white light that made them vanish as the door gently closed. An unknown place. The twins opened their eyes after the bright white light blinded them. They looked around to see where they were, but saw nothing. They tensed as two people formed in front of them. They gasped at the beauty of the women before them. The women simply laughed at their ridiculous expressions. "Don't worry, children. We're not here. In fact, we're not going to hurt you," said the dark-haired woman, which made the twins relax. "Now that we've strayed so far from the topic, do you want to know who we are?" the fair-skinned woman asked. The twins nodded and got the answer of their lives. I am Cammy and this is my sister, the goddess of death, she said matterof factly. Narudo and Kasumi's eyes widened in shock and they comically fainted next to each other. Don't you think that was a little harsh? asked the now well-known goddess of death, a drop of sweat forming on her forehead as she looked at her sister. Maybe, Cammy replied, rubbing the back of her head with an embarrassed expression. Upon waking, the twins stared at their feet with dejected expressions. They asked a question that broke the hearts of the two goddesses. "Why would you want to see us if we're nobody?" The two women hugged the two children and began to tremble before crying on their shoulders. "You two are the most precious thing in this world, and you were given a terrible hand," Cammy said as she stroked Kasumi's head. We have a question we'd like to ask you both, said the Shinagami, sitting down with Narudo on her lap. The two children looked at the two women, wondering what their question could be. Would you like to be our children? The two goddesses asked in unison, a glimmer of hope in their eyes. Narudo and Kasumi immediately looked at them, tears welling in their eyes. They exchanged a glance and smiled before embracing them even more tightly. "We'd love that, too," the twins said in unison. Both women smiled broadly and kissed them on the head. Then they got up and straightened their clothes. "If that's the case, we can't have our children in a village that doesn't want them," declared Cammy, or the one her children had just named Kachchon. She received a resounding yes from everyone around her. "Then when we leave, we can unleash the hidden power that tried to escape this afternoon during the fight with your former parents." The Shinagami or the one her new children had just named Kasan said this. As she spoke, they looked at her curiously. "What do you mean, Kasan? What did he try to do this afternoon?" Narudo asked as his sister nodded beside him. "Come on, guys. Let's leave the village and then we'll explain everything." Kimmy told them, who just nodded, knowing that they would be told later that night. Now that we've got that out of the way, we should leave as soon as possible. Guys, do you know when you'll be ready? The Shinagami asked. Narudo and Kasumi spoke to each other before turning around and looking at their new mothers. Honestly, we can leave tonight. We don't really have much, just a few clothes, Kasumi replied, and Naro agreed. The two women frowned upon hearing this, but it made it easier for them to leave the village as soon as possible and begin training the twins to further develop their latent abilities. With that said, the twins and the women teleported back to Narudo and Kasumi's simple room and began preparing for the night. The night in Kohaa. Finally, they were ready to leave, and they were more than eager to go. Narudo and Kasumi looked around their room again to make sure they had everything they needed. They turned to their mother and nodded. "Are you finally ready?" Kimmy asked two children. "Yes, Kachchan. We've already packed all our clothes, and with your help, we copied everything from the family library, Kasumi replied, glancing at her brother, who had a thoughtful expression. "Is something bothering you, brother?" "No, I was just wondering when they'd noticed we were gone. I wish I could have seen their faces," Narudo replied to his sister, hugging her as they both laughed nervously. Once everything was done, the goddesses grabbed their children by the shoulders and teleported them to the cave so they could master their abilities. Without them, the leaf village simply lost the names of Centipede and OneEyed Owl. Names that would later inspire fear in anyone who heard them. 2 hours later, the two younger siblings, Naruko and Natsumi, were talking amongst themselves, trying to think of ways to make it up to their older siblings for what happened that day. Could we ask mom to cook whatever you want? Does that sound good? Naruko asked her sister. Her sister just shook her head. No, I'm pretty sure they can cook without our help. How about we teach them what mom and dad taught us? Kasumi said as Naruko nodded and they both headed towards their siblings room. As they walked, they were surprised to see how far Narudo and Kasumi's room was from the others. They finally arrived. After a brief argument about who would knock, which resulted in Natsumi losing and having to do it. Knock-k knockock. No answer. Do you think they're asleep? No. They're probably still angry with us and don't want to talk. Having said this, the twins knocked again and opened the door to their older brother's room. They were surprised to find no one inside and became worried. After searching, they found a letter with a single word on it. Bye. After reading the powerful word, the two girls screamed. Minutes earlier with Manado and Cusha. Manado and Cusha were getting ready for bed, unaware of what had happened that night. Manado was washing his face and Kusha was brushing her hair. Minato, do you think we were too harsh on Narudo and Kasumi before? Cusha asked, stopping smoothing her hair and staring into space. Minato approached from behind and simply hugged her. I think we got a little bored, but we were afraid they would get hurt trying to do those things. Minato replied to his wife, who relaxed in his arms. Let me tell you something. Tomorrow morning, when they wake up, we'll apologize and do whatever they want. Kusha nodded to her husband's plan and was about to go to bed when they both heard deafening screams from the other side of the house. They ran at full speed and were surprised to arrive at Narudo and Kasumi's boring room. There they saw their younger children on the floor crying, each holding a piece of paper. Manado read the paper aloud with his wife and both of them looked horrified. Then he went straight to the Hokag Tower to immediately search for the runaway twins. Unfortunately, they wouldn't find them or hear from them again for the next 2 years with Narudo and Kasumi. After their departure, we see the new family forming out of nowhere in a clearing in the forest. Looking around, Narudo and Kasumi noticed a small cave just behind where they were standing. "Mom, where exactly are we? I thought we were going to train our latent power like you said before," Narudo asked his mother, still observing the place they had arrived at. "Let's go to my son's house. We just have to go into this cave to train," Cammy replied to her son, who looked at her confused. "How are we all going to fit on your train, let alone in that tiny cave?" Kasumi asked looking at her mother who smiled mysteriously. Can you tell us Kasan? They asked their other mother who was standing to one side observing everyone's interaction. The Shinagami simply smiled and walked past her children indicating with a simple gesture that they should follow her just as Cammy walked beside her. Then they began to walk through the cave. Its age was easily discernible just by looking at it. It contained numerous stelactites with dripping water hanging from the ceiling, looking as if they would impale you. The atmosphere inside the cave was somewhat eerie and silent. The only sound was the thud of their feet on the floor. The heat and humidity inside the cave didn't help matters. Upon reaching the end of the tunnel, they saw it was a dead end. Narudo and Kasumi looked at their mothers, confused. Seeing their confusion, Cammy simply pointed at the wall and it began to crack before crumbling completely, revealing a bright light behind it. They then moved forward with their hands in front of their eyes before adjusting to the light and removing them. What they saw amazed them. It was a simple valley teeming with wildlife. They could also see that it contained a huge waterfall that sparkled in the light. Narudo and Kasumi ran to the water, looked down, and saw their reflections perfectly in the crystal clearar water. As they did so, they noticed the wide variety of animals that live there, from foxes and turtles to rabbits, exotic birds, and other unique creatures. After admiring it all, their mother called them over to talk. "This place will be our training ground for a while, so you should get used to it. But I think you'll be fine, too," said the Shinagami as the twins nodded. This place is unique and versatile in many ways. We can change the weather, the time of day, and the shape of the landscape wherever we want. Also, the time difference isn't the same here as outside. The equivalent of one year here is half a year outside because we're in this pocket dimension we created many years ago. This also means you age at half the rate of a normal person while you're here. So we could be here training for 10 years but we'll only age 5 years. Cammy told the children who just nodded trying to understand what she had just told them. Kachchan can you tell us what this latent power is that we'll be in now? Naro asked. What is it and what does it do? asked Kasumi who was also wondering. Meanwhile, Cammy and the Shinagami adopted semi-serious expressions. Well, but before we tell you, did you feel anything today when Kusha tried to hit you again? The Shinagami asked the two children who remained thoughtful as they recalled what had happened that day. After a couple of minutes of reflection, the twins returned to their mother, believing they had the answer to her question, but still with some doubts. Well, to begin with, my eyes felt really uncomfortable, and I just wanted to rub them to make it go away. Then I felt a stinging sensation in my lower back like needles were being stuck into my skin. Other than that, when my ex-mother hit me, I didn't feel any pain. Narudo answered his mother and then they looked at Kasumi waiting for her response. Well, the same thing happened to me. I felt discomfort in my eyes. Then I felt a burning sensation in my back. Then when Kusha hit Narudo, I got really angry and felt both sensations intensify. Kasumi replied, and the two women nodded, happy to have received the answers they were looking for. Yes, you're right. That's exactly what we were talking about and the reason we came to this place here. We can train you in your abilities without worrying about anyone interfering. Now, the only problem is creating the abilities, and we're going to have to force them, and it will bring you the worst possible experience. Do you still want to continue with this? Kimmy asked her children, somewhat worried. Narudo and Kasumi looked at each other after a while. Their eyes sparkled. They approached their mothers and nodded confidently, looking directly into their eyes. All right, now we begin the process. Please sit down and we'll proceed. The Shinagami spoke, and the children immediately sat side by side. The two goddesses placed their hands on the children's heads and began infusing them with their own powers, causing their skin to glow with energy. Narudo and Kasumi began screaming in pain as if their entire bodies were being torn apart from the inside. A black aura enveloped them, obscuring them until they were no longer visible. The ground began to crack slowly, creating a spiderweb like pattern around them as it formed its own craters. After about 10 minutes, the black aura dissipated, leaving the two children in craters 60 cm deep unconscious from the pain. Well, now that we've taken care of that, we just have to wait for them to wake up. Cammy sighed, turning to her sister, who nodded silently. Then they formed a giant bed with the matter surrounding them, slowly placing Narudo and Kasumi on it. I wonder what they think of their new appearances, he the shinagami chuckled. Beside her, Cammy simply shook her head, changed the clocks until it was night, and made up a bed. Her sister followed shortly after, drifting off to sleep. in the mindscape of Narudo. Narudo woke up slowly, opened his eyes, and looked around at an unfamiliar place. It resembled a sewer, one of which was filthy with stains on the walls and water covering the floor. He looked up and saw pipes. One seemed to be flowing with a deep black liquid, while the other was dark red, and both were dripping their respective colors. He began walking through this unfamiliar territory, following the pipes. After a couple of minutes, he reached a huge opening in the wall. Without a second thought, he shrugged and stepped through. There he saw a middle-aged man. He had fair skin, shoulderlength, bright red hair, and eyes as red as his hair, but with narrowed pupils. They looked at each other, Narudo with a questioning gaze, and the man with an observant one. "Who are you, and where exactly are we?" Narudo asked the man, who stared at him for a while longer. H how interesting. You don't seem scared. I wonder if I can change that, he said to himself. But Narudo heard him loud and clear. Naruto's face fell. And then before his wide eyes, the man changed. A huge cloud of smoke formed. And when it cleared, there stood a fearsome beast. A gigantic fox with nine tails that swished behind it. "Aren't you afraid to be in my presence?" the Q.B. he asked genuinely surprised that the child in front of him wasn't trembling with fear. If I can meet Cammy and the Shinigami, I'm sure I can face the Q.B. No, Yoko. Narudo spoke with a sincerity that made the fox howl with laughter. Haha, I like you, kid. You're nothing like your bastard mother. The Q.B. spoke again, suddenly noticing the gloomy expression the girl adopted when she said his name. Please, I don't want to be reminded that she's my mother. I have a new family now whom I love deeply. Narudo spoke in a tone that left no room for argument. Now that we've clarified who you are, could you explain where we are and how you got here exactly? Narudo asked the fox who nodded. We are in your body or more specifically in your mind. As for why I'm here the night I attacked Kenoha. A man from the Aiha clan wearing a spiral mask subjected me to a jin jutzu with those cursed eyes of his. He ripped me from your former mother and controlled me, forcing me to attack Kohaa against my will. The enormous fox spoke with a huge amount of anger in his eyes. Then I was defeated by the fourth Hokag. And before my chakra could be sealed within your younger siblings, and my soul returned to my previous vessel, I separated a portion of my soul and chakra from myself and went in search of a suitable place to live. It was then that I encountered the offspring of the fourth Hokag's wife and merged with you. This enabled me to speak to you as I am now. The fox explained, receiving an understanding nod from Narudo. Now I see that this makes perfect sense. Why did Manado and Cusha leave us and train Naruko and Natsumi instead? It still doesn't justify what they put us through. No child should have to endure the pain we suffered. Narudo spoke to the fox. They will never be able to use my chakra properly, the fox added, receiving a confused look from Narudo since the soul that accompanies the chakra will go out of control when used. But you, with the exception that you possess a part of my soul and chakra, can use it safely. Although you will only be able to use up to three tails at most, the QB explained to Narudo, who nodded with some unease. So, if I could take the rest of Kusha's and my younger sister's chakra without killing them, could I use your chakra at its full potential? Narudo asked, looking at the fox with gleaming eyes. The fox nodded, a bead of sweat forming on its brow, a sign of its behavior. How are you going to be able to get the rest of me when it's a rule that if the ginuriki obtained their beiju they die? The fox asked once again, confused, how the boy would accomplish such a feat. Are you kidding me? I have two parents who are gods. It can't be hard to think of something, Narudo said in an obvious tone while the fox slapped his face for forgetting such a big detail. Of course, I sigh. How could I forget something so simple? Anyway, we can continue this conversation later. It's time for you to wake up. The QB told Naro, who nodded. Do you have a name? I'm pretty sure someone as cool as you must have a name. Narudo asked the fox, who nodded in confirmation. It's Kurama. That was the name they gave me when they created me a long time ago. The one now called Kurama told Narudo, who smiled and vanished completely, leaving his mental landscape back to reality, leaving Kurama alone as he lay down and fell asleep. The following morning, Narudo woke with a groan. His whole body achd from yesterday. He looked down and smiled when he saw Kasumi sleeping curled up next to him, drool escaping the corner of her mouth. Then he began to run his fingers through his black and white hair. Wait, black and white? He looked down again to confirm what he saw. Indeed, his hair was black and white. His blonde and red hair was gone. Impressed by Kasumi's new hair color, he jumped out of bed and into the lake right next to it. The splash he made as he landed also wet Kasumi, startling her and waking her abruptly. He regretted moving so quickly as his body achd terribly just like Naruto's. He was about to yell at Narudo if it weren't for his new appearance, which startled him. Like Kasumi's, his hair had turned snow white, and parts like the bangs covering his left eye, which had been red, were now black. Next came her eyes. The iris was now deep red, and the scara completely black. Narudo looked again at his sister, who was soaked, and saw her more clearly. Her hair had also turned snow white, and the bangs covering her right eye were black. Her eyes were exactly like his. "Look at yourself," they both said in unison, stuttering and pointing at each other. Then they both stared at the water, shocked by their new appearance, and screamed. Suddenly, their mothers appeared with worried faces until they saw their children looking at each other in the water, and then their expressions softened. They approached the two frozen children and touched their shoulders, startling them and bringing them back to reality. Okay, these changes were expected. Sorry, we forgot to tell you. Now relax. Cammy spoke to the children who nodded shakily and slowly relaxed. After a couple of minutes, they sat down on the grass. Now that everyone has returned to normal, it's time to explain their inner powers. Don't you think, sister? the Shinagami asked his sister, who nodded. "Yes, I think so. Now listen, because this might take a while," Cammy said, receiving nods of agreement from her children before speaking again. "Long ago, there was a civilization of ghouls. They were very unique people with both good and bad qualities. The ghouls could only eat something that we will give them after the story. I won't tell you what it is or you won't eat it." Cammy told the children who nodded, wondering what the food contained. These people were easily superior to humans. They were four to seven times stronger than an ordinary person and had an extremely high healing rate. Furthermore, their bodies were more resilient, making it difficult for anything to penetrate their skin. For example, if knives were aimed at them, they would shatter on contact. In addition, they had a better sense of smell than the Inazuka clan of Kenoha. They possessed a unique weapon that originated from their bodies called the kagun. Cammy took a deep breath and continued. Because of this and their unique food reserves, which they needed to survive, they began massacring their own kind and the human population to gain power. Eventually, we had to intervene and eliminate them all, making sure no one knew about them. But we managed to keep one family alive out of the hundreds we eliminated. It was a man and his wife who tried to avoid the violence at all costs, Cammy said, taking a breath as her sister took control. These two people were the kindest you could ever know, and they had a son. We allowed him to live as long as he didn't start killing like his ancestors. In time, he grew up and met a woman from the Uzumaki clan whom he soon married and joined. The son he had with the Uzumaki didn't have the abilities he possessed, and in time, we thought he was lost. But here we are with you both and you possess the abilities of your ancestors. The Shinagami spoke to the children who nodded. Just then, Narudo and Kasumi's stomachs growled and they rubbed their heads in embarrassment. Sigh. I suppose now is the time for you to find out what your ancestors ate. Cam spoke and vanished in an instant. She returned a few minutes later with food in her hand and placed it in front of the children who looked at it with disgust. It was just uncooked meat, still raw and bloody. Then they caught a whiff of the meat, and it smelled like the best thing in the world, and with ravenous eyes, they devoured the food in an instant. When they finished, their mouths were covered in stains, and a little bit dripped from their chins to the ground. Kachchan, what was that? "Can I have more?" Nar asked. "Yes, Grandma. I want a lot more, too. Please," Kasumi added to her brother. Kem just sighed but nodded. After a few more servings of that bloody mess, they were finally satisfied. "Now you two must think clearly about what I have to tell you. It will disturb you, but that's okay. Are you ready to hear what you've just read?" The Shinagami spoke seriously to the children who nodded cautiously, already with a bad feeling. "You two just ate meat of dubious origin. It was the only food ghouls could eat. Otherwise, they would sicken and slowly die if they didn't eat, and it was an extremely painful process. The Shinagami spoke slowly and carefully, closely, observing the twins expressions. Narudo and Kasumi's hair covered their eyes, and tears welled up in their eyes. They both instantly regretted eating the meat and felt disgusted for having devoured it like starving animals. They tried to vomit it up immediately, but soon realized their bodies wouldn't allow it. They stopped and sat next to each other. A deathly silence fell around them. "Does that mean we're monsters?" Narudo asked, his voice breaking with sadness. "Why didn't you tell us what we were going to eat before we digested it? Who would love children who eat human flesh?" Kasumi asked her own question, not as emotionally stable as her brother. The goddesses approached the two children and gave them a group hug as the children wept on their shoulders. When their tears stopped, they looked at their mothers, expecting to see disgust and hatred in their eyes. But instead, they saw all the love in them, just like the first day they met them. We wouldn't be good parents if we hated them. Remember this. We will always love you no matter what, the Shinagami said, hugging the children tighter, and everyone relaxed at her words. After a few minutes, they were all standing, feeling much better than before. Previously, ghouls could only eat meat of dubious origin to stay healthy and live. However, with us present during yesterday's initial transformation process, we altered normal human food so that it wouldn't be as good as human flesh. Cammy told the children who nodded, still a little frightened by the whole cannibalism business. I think it's time to release your kaguns, don't you think? Cammy said as the two children adopted expressions of determination. All right. Now, to release your kagun, you must concentrate on your backs until you feel the tingling again. Since your eyes are already activated, we don't need to worry about that. The shinagami informed them. Narudo and Kasumi assumed meditative postures and began trying to regain the sensation. After a while, they felt the sensations again and had to bite their lips to stifle a groan from the stinging. After a couple of minutes, the twins kun erupted from their backs and tore through their clothes. The goddesses were surprised because both had unique kunons different from each other. Kasumi's kagun consisted of wings sprouting from her shoulder blades. That wasn't what surprised the goddesses. What surprised them was that instead of having two wings or fewer, like most ghouls of the past, she had four vermilion wings sprouting from her back which turned purple at the tips. Narudo had two kagun in different locations. The first was located beneath his shoulder blades and took the form of a spear attached to a pistol sword hilt with a spiked pommel. It constantly shifted shape, moving between the spear and forming a shield with three sections protruding from each side. It was entirely black with a golden sheen in certain areas that if you want a better view, check out Aika in defensive mode from Tokyo Ghoul. His second kagun came from his lower back around his waist where eight tentacle-like appendages sprouted. The color was a mixture of dark red and black. "That hurt more than I thought, but it still hurts a little," Narudo said with a grimace of pain as his spear remained in his right hand and eight tentacles moved behind him. "Yes, but at least the pain is gradually easing. We should get used to it over time, Kasumi remarked as she moved her back muscles so she could see and touch her wings. Yes, the hard part is over. Only the initial release of your kagun hurt. After that, you'll barely feel it, the Shinagami told the twins, who nodded gratefully. "Now we have changed some things in your blood that will make your lives easier as ghouls," Cammy declared to the twins, who listened while observing the additional weapons they had acquired. There's another stage to your kagun called a kakuja. A kakuja is the ultimate version of a kagun because it mutates and greatly enhances your abilities. Before to obtain a kakuja, ghouls had to eat other ghouls so their bodies would transform. We changed it so you can eat meat and still unlock this ability. The shinigami told the children who seemed horrified at the idea of eating each other for power, but were then relieved to learn they could eat ordinary people to gain it. Next, we enhanced your physique. You're now 10 times stronger than a normal person. Your skin is also more resilient, capable of cleaving a sword in two upon contact, and it protects you from shinobi jutzu up to midb rank. Furthermore, we granted you the ability to see people's chakra when your ghoul eyes are activated. The problem with your hair is that because we interfered with the initial release process, the colors changed and became a blend of ours. Finally, you're no longer related to the fourth Hokag family as your DNA has been altered. Cammy told the children who now understood, nodding their heads happily and smiling upon learning that they had been completely freed from their former family. Now, let's turn off their eyes and their kun for now. Relax, and they should disappear naturally. The Shinagami told the children who followed her instructions. And as she said, the extras returned to their bodies and their eyes regained their blue and violet color. Now then, do you have any questions before we begin your training? The Shinagami asked. Harlier today when I woke up, I discovered I have some of the Q.B. in my body, Narudo said bluntly, causing everyone to sweat drop. After he explained how Kurama was in his body, the goddesses remained thoughtful. I'm sure we can find a way to safely remove the rest of the Q.B from Namicase. It just requires a little thought. With it inside you, Narudo, you'll have to train harder than before, and I hope it will also be helpful in your training, Cammy said. And everyone agreed. Now then, you guys, are you ready for your torture/training, guys? It's going to be a very long couple of years for you, so you'd better start running or this will hurt even more than it already has. The Shinagami spoke in a singong voice with a sadistic smile as she snapped her fingers. Narudo and Kasumi took off running the instant they heard this. Their mothers flying behind them, firing different elemental blasts. Yes, it was going to be hell for Narudo and Kasumi. They knew it from the start, but they also knew they would become stronger because of it, so it was worth it. So far, they'll endure their mothers trying to hurt them with sadistic smiles. For years later, in a valley, in a valley unknown to everyone, it was the perfect day for outdoor activities. The sun shone brightly and the large, puffy clouds in the sky looked incredible for sleeping. The temperature was 29° C and a cool, gentle breeze drifted through the valley. Animals gathered around a waterfall, drinking from its crystal clearar waters. It was undoubtedly a peaceful day. This was the situation on one side of the valley. On the other side, it was a wasteland. The trees were destroyed from uprooted to broken in various ways. The ground was riddled with craters large and small crystals that looked like feathers and were noticeably sharp at first glance and cut marks everywhere from deep to shallow. In the distance, two blurry shapes moved rapidly, colliding and throwing sparks as they passed. They continued to cross paths for a couple more minutes, further damaging the already ravaged terrain. The fighting ceased when two people were spotted on opposite sides of the field, panting slightly. They had cuts all over their bodies and wounds dripped from the corners of their mouths. The first figure was a boy about 1.43 m tall. He had short white hair with a black fringe that covered his left eye. His body was toned, forming what looked like the perfect physique of a swimmer due to the way his muscles moved with every movement. His face was narrow, giving him a more serious appearance. But he was still attractive. He had cuts on his body that regenerated quickly, as did his clothing, which mended itself as his wounds healed. His black and red eyes intently scanned his opponent, searching for any weakness to exploit. He had four black and red tentacles like appendages that moved behind him and pointed menacingly at his opponent. All his clothing was completely black. He wore a long-sleeved black shirt made of highly resistant materials that clung to his skin, granting him great flexibility and stealth on the battlefield, both at night and in dark areas. Over the long sleeves, he wore a black undershirt that reached halfway down his neck with metal plates in various areas such as his chest, ribs, and waist. He also wore trousers of the same material, which also clung to his skin. Over the trousers, he wore black shorts, and on his feet, he wore black shoes with steel toes. The next figure was obviously a girl, judging by her build. She was 1.45 four 5 m tall with short white hair and black bangs that covered her right eye. She had a small compact body for a 10-year-old girl similar to her opponents. She had a heart-shaped face and a cute little nose. She wore the exact same clothes as the person she was facing. Behind her were four wings that looked like fire colored vermilion and purple. These two people were Narudo and Kasumi having their daily battle throughout the course which was quite normal when they lived in the valley to train. They stared at each other with red and black eyes panting slightly. They remained there catching their breath without moving a muscle. Then a leaf began to fall between them as if it were the signal that they both lunged again upon hitting the ground. Kasumi began by hardening her wings and firing several crystal feathers at her brother, who used his four tentacles to defend himself. Seeing Narudo on the defensive, Kasumi charged at him and sharpened her wings like swords. Attempting to break through his defense, she attacked with two swift blows, but he easily deflected them. He then pushed her back and delivered three quick strikes to her torso, leaving her stunned, her feet skimming the ground. With three of his four tentacles, Narudo pulled crystals from the ground and hurled them at Kasumi. Seeing the fragments approaching, she wrapped them in her wings and began spinning them as if a small colorful tornado were protecting her body. She saw the fragments shatter on contact. But Narudo, anticipating this, charged at his sister again. Closing in, he landed several punches on various parts of her body, which she narrowly dodged. But she couldn't avoid the roundhouse kick that sent her crashing to the ground. Kasumi got up from the ground, a little more blood trickling from the corner of her mouth. She simply smiled. She loved these training sessions with her brother. Feeling her wounds heal at an alarming rate, she returned to her fighting stance. When he attacked again, Kasumi decided to use her kagun more defensively. Both armed for battle found themselves in a flurry of attacks. Watching the tentacles behind her brother, she had to be wary of the faints and taunts he used to throw her off balance, making her make a mistake he would exploit, which would be her end. Infusing more power into her wings, she slammed them into Naruto's kagon, forcing him to use all four of his tentacles to defend himself. Then she landed two punches to his face, a knee to his stomach, and kicked him away. Narudo slid across the ground, panting slightly, and looked at his sister with a smile, rushing toward his sister. Narudo figured he'd have to use more savage blows to catch her offg guard. They clashed again in a flurry of punches. Kasumi tried to strike Narudo, but he grabbed her arm and kneaded her in the chest, then kicked her in the face, sending her flying to the ground in a small cloud of dust. As Narudo landed, his opponent leaped from the dust and tried to strike him with her kagun, but he blocked it with his own and jumped back as Kasumi fired crystals at him. He defended himself with his tentacles, which absorbed the damage. Dropping to all fours, he lunged at Kasumi. When he was close enough, he tried to lift her, but Kasumi leaped into the air to avoid the attack. Quickly thinking of a plan, Narudo used his kagun to kick up dust, obscuring Kasumi's vision. But she had a plan. Narudo then grabbed more fragments scattered on the ground with his tentacles and threw them at his opponent, who dodged the projectiles perfectly, only for Narudo to appear behind her trying to hit her. However, she ducked under the attack and kicked him in the stomach. When she did this, Narudo growled and quickly played one of his trump cards. He transformed his tentacles into a three-clawed hand. Then he grabbed her by the body and slammed her to the ground repeatedly before throwing her away. Kasumi groaned in pain and jumped when he tried to strike her with his tentacles. Then she shot crystals into his back while he was in the middle of his attack, which penetrated his back, making him spit. Ignoring the attack, Narudo decided to change things up. He retracted his tentacles and unleashed his second kagun. The black and gold spear transformed into his left hand. Kasumi hardened her wings and fired crystals at her brother. Narudo dashed to the side as a barrage of crystals rained down on him. Then he increased the power of his spear which began crackling with electricity. He leaped into the air and performed a horizontal strike, firing three electric orbs at Kasumi. Seeing the orbs approaching, her wings softened, bursting into flames, and she took off with a burst of speed. Appearing in front of Narudo, she transformed two of her four wings into blades, attempting to strike him in the chest. Seeing the attack coming, he raised his spear in front of him and transformed it into a shield. Kasumi, seeing him on the defensive, accelerated her attack at the last second, causing a shock wave as it collided with Naruto's shield. When the attack landed, it cracked Naruto's shield multiple times, shattering it with the full force of the blast. Seeing him caught off guard, Kasumi seized the opportunity. Appearing behind Narudo, she grabbed him, wrapped her legs around him, and slammed him to the ground with all her might. She quickly pinned his hands above his head, straddling him to keep him still. Naruto's eyes widened at their position. Her lips were pressed tightly together. Her hair cascaded across her face, almost brushing against his, and her eyes were cloudy and tired. Or was there something more to them? Okay, Kasumi, you win this time, Narudo said to his sister as he gently let go. He lifted them both up and now they were sitting with Kasumi still on his lap looking at each other. Narudo looked into her eyes and could see an emotion there that he couldn't quite place. Then they heard two people laughing. They turned to the side and saw two women and the flash of a camera. Era era, what do we have here? Are they finally going to kiss? We have such naughty children, but we don't complain. joked the Shinagami while Cammy was simply behind her taking pictures of the compromising position of the two unfortunate children while a sign behind her read can. Narudo, his eyes wide, jumped up along with Kasumi. Both their faces were flushed, getting redder by the minute from their mother's teasing. Then they chased after Cammy, trying to take the camera from her and destroy the photos she had taken of them. After a 10-minute chase, they caught her and smashed the camera to pieces. They looked up in glee, but were soon horrified to see the other camera Cammy was holding with the exact same photos of everyone. "Always make backups of backups," he wisely told them before the camera disappeared in an instant, causing the twins to complain and pout. "At least now they can catch her. I remember she left them like dust in the wind." The Shinagami spoke. During the four years that the twins began living and training in the valley, they had become stronger than they ever imagined they could. During the years they lived here with their mothers, the twins could defend themselves quite easily in a fight. During their training, they practiced with their kagun before working on their chakra, but they still preferred using kagun to chakra based attacks. Kasumi's kagun was truly useful. In its first form, it resembled flames that could greatly increase her speed and give her kicks and punches more power if she timed them correctly. The second form her kagun could take was to harden it, making it appear crystallized. This allowed her to fire crystals from her wings. Another advantage was that she could spin her wings around her body while hardened, creating the appearance of a red and purple tornado surrounding her and deflecting projectiles. The next function was to reduce the size of her wings, making them smaller and sharper than a normal sword. Narudo eventually mastered control of his eight tentacles, making them extremely effective and lethal in combat, but he preferred to use four unless facing multiple enemies. The tentacles could combine to form hands and claws. With Kurama's help, he could now inject his chakra into his tentacles, causing them to produce a highly acidic substance that dripped from them. His spear generated its own electrical current which he could use to launch at people or simply to attack. After practicing chakra control with their mother, they mastered it easily in just 2 months. After studying the notes they received from their family, they easily created their own derisin gans with some practice. But whenever they formed them, they turned completely black with a crimson red ring inside. Unlike the standard light blue, they never fully grasped the concept of herratation because their mother wanted them to learn it on their own. They instead began learning fu and jutsu and found a way to counter it. Thanks to the slight power they gained from their mothers, they could simply break the canai seals, rendering it ineffective within a 3 km radius. Due to all the training they had received, because of the training from their mother, who were actually just twins fleeing from their mothers who tried to kill them, they were able to obtain the strength of a Tachi Achiha at age 13 when he became an U captain. Well, let's go find some food for the children. They haven't eaten in 2 days, the Shinagami told the twins, who nodded. Approaching their mothers, the goddesses placed their hands on the children's shoulders, and they all went to find food for Narudo and Kasumi. In the real world, the whole family reappeared together in the middle of the forest. Then they began to walk, chatting for a while until they reached their destination. After another 10 minutes of walking, the family reached the edge of a cliff. Narudo and Kasumi recharged their chakra and began descending the cliff face while the goddesses simply levitated. At the bottom of the cliff, there was a small clearing with a body in the center. Approaching the body, they turned it over and saw that it was deceased. They then began to place it in a bag, getting their hands dirty in the process. They didn't mind. They were used to it. They simply gazed at the body sadly, wondering why this person had chosen to take their own life. After arranging the body and washing the stains off their clothes, they left the clearing. They continued searching for another couple of hours and collected more corpses. Pleased with the number of bodies they had found, they simply returned to the safety of their valley, remaining silent the entire time. Back in the valley, upon arriving in the valley, the family immediately began storing most of the remains for later use, but they kept a few. The children's mothers set a table and left. The twins stared at the remains on the table for a moment before their eyes turned black and red again. They gazed ravenously at the piece of meat before them. After 2 days without food, they devoured the meal quickly, not caring that it stained their mouths. After eating, they washed their faces with water from a nearby stream. This was normal for them, and they had become practically immune to eating meat. They used to hunt for food with their mothers near areas with high suicide rates. They primarily fed on corpses. Occasionally, when they went out to search for missing ninjas to fight and gain combat experience, they experienced the thrill of the hunt when the ninjas fled from them. When this happened, they killed and ate them on the spot while the body was still warm. Although they could still eat normal human food, it didn't provide them with nutrients, and they had to hunt for human flesh after a certain time. Otherwise, it caused them excruciating pain. The only other advantage of meat besides its delicious taste was that it always made them stronger. Thanks to their constant consumption of meat over the past four years and their constant training, they were able to activate their kakuja. After the twins finished, they went to find their mothers. After a couple of minutes of searching, the two brothers found the goddesses sitting in a field of flowers. The twins sat down next to their mothers and remained silent. You two have acquired many skills since we brought you here. Cammy told the two children who were looking at her. Well, that's only because we had you, Ka Chan and Kaan. Without you, we wouldn't be able to do even a quarter of what we know today. Kasumi told her mother with a smile. True, but we won't be able to teach you everything while we live here. So, we've been talking about it and we believe you're ready to leave the valley, not just for combat experience or food, but for living in the real world now in a ninja village, the Shinagami told the children who agreed. Do you have any idea which village you want to join? Kimmy asked the children. Narudo and Kasumi looked at each other for a couple of minutes and talked before answering their mothers. We have an idea of where we want to go, but we want to think about it for a while before deciding," Narudo told the two adults. "Swell, then let's leave here and travel a bit before they make up their minds." With that, they all left the cave in search of a new home. A couple of days later, the unusual family was walking along a dirt path in the middle of the forest. The twins, Narudo and Kasumi, were playing tag while their mothers watched, amused to see that they still behaved like children. Narudo, stop. I sense a familiar presence nearby that I haven't felt in a long time. Kurama spoke and Narudo stopped immediately, causing Kasumi to bump into him and fall on her butt. Everyone looked at Narudo and wondered why he had stopped. "What do you mean by family and where does it come from?" "Why?" the blonde boy asked Kurama in his head. I can sense the two-tailed beast a couple of miles from here. It seems to have been sealed within a genturiki who is in a small group and now another group is pursuing it. Kurama spoke urgently which made the blonde man's eyes widen at the information he had just received. Is everything all right, dear? Did Kurama say something we should know about? Kimmy asked calmly. Hey Narudoni, what was so important that you had to stop me and make me fall? Kasumi asked a little angry about having fallen. Apparently, the twotails Genturiki is nearby and they're chasing him right now. We need to leave immediately and find out why. Narudo informed everyone who were surprised by the information. They all nodded quickly, but before leaving, Narudo and Kasumi put on masks their mothers had made for them. Naruto's mask was white with a hole for his right eye and three zigzag lines over his left as well as two downward sloping lines over his mouth. Kasumi's mask was the same except the hole was over her left eye and the line slanted over her right. These masks were special because of their extreme durability, their ability to distort the voice, and their capacity to react to the wearer's will. If someone wanted to eat without removing it, the mask would rearrange itself, creating an opening where the mouth would be. With their masks on and making sure everyone was ready, the goddesses placed their hands on the twins and disappeared into the air towards the location of the two glue containers. At Nibby's location, upon arriving at the location of the Nibby Ginuriki, they saw a group of four children with cuts and bruises surrounded by six male shinobi. They observed the plates on their foreheads and determined that they came from Kimogakure. The children surrounded by the adult shinobi were three girls and one boy. "Finally, you stopped running. Finally, we can end this and kill you. Stay still. This will only hurt you more, demon and her friends," said one of the shinobi as he walked toward the children with a canai in his hand. The children may have acted resolutely, but it was clear in their eyes that they were terrified. Do you know that trying to kill children without a good reason is inhumane? That's why I've decided your punishment will be death, Narudo said in a distorted childlike voice, causing everyone to turn toward him. When the group of male shinobi turned to see the new voice, they were met with the final image of tentacles and crystals hurtling toward them before they died. The four children, about Narudo and Kasumi's age, looked at the newcomers with a hint of fear as they caught a glimpse of Narudo and Kasumi's red and black eyes behind their masks. Great. Now there are even more people, and they easily took out our pursuers. They'll probably take us hostage and then sell us somewhere for money. When they sell us, we'll probably go with some weirdo, said the only boy in the group before one of his female companions hit him on the head. Omoy Yurusai, this isn't the time to talk, a red-haired girl said to the boy now known as Omoy. Omoy is a young boy with dark skin, short spiky white hair, and dark eyes. This is the perfect time to worry, Kowi. They could easily kill us if they wanted to, omoy told the red head named Kowi. Carowi is a girl with dark skin, long red hair, and amber eyes. Be quiet and save this for later," said one of the girls, looking sternly at Omoy and Carowi. "Yes, Samwi." Omo and Kowi replied. Samwei is a fair-skinned woman with a stoic and distant expression. She has blue eyes and straight blonde hair that frames her face cut in an asymmetrical bob with shoulderlength bangs. "Well, now that we've gotten that out of the way, why don't you tell me why you're being chased alone and who's the leader of this gang of misfits?" Kasumi asked in a distorted childlike voice. As she spoke, the boys in front of them stared at her intently. "I, Yujoni, would be the leader, and we don't have to tell you why they were chasing us. It's none of your business," said the last girl in the group. "You looked a lot like Samwei." She had fair skin and long, straight, blonde hair tied back in a ponytail. Her eyes were dark blue with slanted vertical pupils that I wanted to change his eyes. Is it because you're the Genturiki of the two tales? asked the goddesses who appeared out of nowhere behind the children, startling and shocking them, for they knew Yujito's secret. How do you know? Who are you? asked Yujito, stunned by the women who had suddenly appeared. We know because I'm like you. I have the ninetailes sealed inside me. Well, some of it for now, but I plan to get the rest later. As for the two women, they belong to our troublesome mother. Narudo informed the group of children who were surprised to encounter another Genturiki and somewhat relieved by his explanation. Meanwhile, the goddesses were pleased to be called troublesome by their own son. "I swear they complain all the time and make us do everything for them because they're lazy," Kasumi added in her own post, earning the goddesses another check mark. "Now, can you tell us why you're alone and not in a village?" Naro asked. We won't tell you anything else unless you take off your masks and tell us your names right now. Sami said firmly. Narudo and Kasumi just looked at each other and nodded. They removed their masks together, startling the children with their black and red eyes before they returned to their usual blue and violet color. My name is Narudo and this is Kasumi. It's a pleasure to meet you. Narudo spoke in a smooth voice, undistorted by the mask. As he finished, a perverted two-tailed Beiju cat decided to voice her opinion to Yujito in her mind. "Oh, my little kitten, could you hear his voice and see his face? He's a gold mine. I can feel the power he holds within. I order you to devastate him now and claim him as your mate this instant. Besides, it's an advantage that he has Kuramani inside him." The two-tailed beast spoke to its host, Yujito, and proceeded to send her mental images of past flirtations of a certain nature they could perform. Upon seeing the positions, Yujito quickly blushed and shook her head, trying to get rid of the images. "Matabi, enough. This isn't the time or place to start this, even if he is handsome," Yujito said to her companion, who just huffed and started complaining to herself about having a bad container. I see your BU is giving you trouble. Narudo and I's Buhu always does the same thing. But it doesn't make him blush nearly as much. Kasumi said with a laugh to Yujito, who was still blushing, but less so. Now that we've told you our names, can we know why you're alone? Narudo asked the group of children who nodded more calmly, knowing that they were not in danger. As you know, I'm the Genturiki of the two tales. My friends and I were from the village of Kimogakure. They hated me constantly and I showed it every day when the villagers glared at me and denied me everything. I was halfway through my first year at the ninja academy when some drunken idiot tried to attack me. He almost killed me. And that's when the two tales came to my aid, taking control for a while and killed the culprit. People got scared and started saying they should lock me up or execute me before I could kill anyone again. To prevent that, the Rakage's only option was to expel me from the village. When we left the village, we were chased by Shinobi who were trying to kill us. And you know the rest, Yujito explained, her voice dripping with hatred while her friends faces remained solemn. What about the rest of you? Narudo asked the rest of Yujito's group who looked at him before Sami began to speak. Yujito, Kowi, and Omoy were my only friends back then. I had a brother named Atsui, but he died last year from an illness the village doctors couldn't cure. When I learned that Yujito was forced to leave the village, I decided to go with her. Omo and Kowi soon joined us since they were orphans. Sami said in a depressed tone that Omoy and Kowi also shared. "Well, now I understand why the ninjas were attacking you," Narudo said, then looked at his sister, who was furious at the story she'd been told. Kasumi noticed her brother looking at her, approached him, and whispered a question. "Do you think we should bring them? We've already planned which village to live in, and it won't negatively affect them." Kasumi asked her brother, who thought for a second before nodding and returning to the other group, who were waiting patiently. "Would you like to join our group? We were on our way to a village to live in, and it seems they need supplies." Narudo asked the group who gathered together and began to whisper, glancing at Naruto's group from time to time. After chatting for a while, they turned to Narudo and Kasumi. "Which village did you have in mind?" Sami asked, looking at them critically, hoping to see if they were lying. But it was almost impossible due to the impassivity of their faces. "Of all the major hidden villages, we had to do some research before making a decision. We won't be going to Kanahakur for personal reasons. Next is Kimogakure where we can't go because they were forcibly expelled. Then there's Sonagir where it was too hot for our liking and we didn't fancy living in a desert. Kiraakure has had problems with its government lately and could spark a war in a few years and we wouldn't want to be there when that happens. Narudo explained to the other group. So the only available village would be a Wagakir. Can you tell us what happened between you and Kenoha? Omoy finished his thought. The group was shocked to see the hatred in Narudo and Kasumi's eyes. We<unk>ll just say we don't have fond memories of Kenoha for now. Will you join us or not? Kasumi asked Yujito's group. The Kumo kids resumed talking amongst themselves before turning back to Narudo and Kasumi. We<unk>ll accompany you on your journey to IWA. Your group doesn't seem to be in such bad shape and we're all short of supplies and injured. Yujito replied for her group. Then they saw Narudo and Kasumi smiling along with their mother. "Well, then we should go, shouldn't we? We should probably heal your wounds first," Cammy said before she and the Shinagami approached and grabbed them by the shoulders, tinsing them. They immediately relaxed as their bodies felt wonderfully healed and their eyes widened as they saw the wounds disappear in an instant. When the goddesses finished healing the injured children, they looked at Narudo and Kasumi with bright red eyes. So why did you say we were troublesome and lazy? The shinagami asked Narudo and Kasumi who were sweating profusely as their mothers walked towards them. He we were just playing. We didn't mean to hurt anyone. Narudo told Kasumi who was slowly backing away before running off at full speed away from their mothers. They ran. Sister, they should know better by now. Should I get the feathers? Yes, I'll go get the honey and the ropes. Let's go find our disrespectful children. With that, the two goddesses began chasing the twins, intending to punish them. To one side, Yujito, Samwi, Kowi, and Omoi watched the family before chuckling to themselves. They look great, Sami said. And everyone nodded before they started running, trying to catch up with Narudo and Kasumi, now covered in chicken feathers and tied upside down to a tree. On their way to their future home in a wagure with the strange family in Kenoha. It was a warm afternoon in the village, hidden in the leaves. The sun shone with its usual intensity, bathing the village in its warm rays. The village was as lively as ever, and many people could be seen going about their business. Unlike many other villages, although Kenoha was the most powerful of the elemental nations, it didn't seem militaristic or cold. Many people upon seeing Kenoha would say it wasn't a shinobi village. However, the mountain that surrounded the northern part of the village clearly gave it away. On it were carved the faces of the most powerful shinobi who had ever lived. This was the image Narumi Namices and Kasumi Namices saw everyday. They were the princesses and heroins of the village as well as members of the honorable Namic family. This family was one of the most respected in the elemental nations. Their father Manado Namicase being the current fourth Hokag. Their mother was also a highly respected Kunoichi. Even after her ninja career ended abruptly. As daughters of two legends, they were considered one of the best families imaginable. Narumi watched the families spending time together with a disheartened expression. One family she observed had two parents sitting on a bench smiling at their eldest son who was chasing his two younger siblings in the park. Watching the family, she couldn't help but think of her own siblings who had disappeared 2 years ago. Although they still greeted each other as always, it seemed no one had noticed that her older brother had left town, which depressed her even more. She turned to her left toward her sister Naruko, who was looking at a shop window displaying jewelry. The night the twins left the Hokag, Manado Namay immediately dispatched his A and BU and trusted Shinobi to search every possible place Narudo and Kasumi might have gone. Their search yielded no results. not even when they reached the borders of the land of fire. He never informed the civilian population about the disappearance of his older siblings, but no one seemed to notice. The day after their older siblings disappeared, Narumi and Naruko asked their parents why they had never worried about their older brother. They replied that their main concern at the time was learning to control the Q.B's chakra and making them happy so it wouldn't corrupt them in the future, causing them to forget about Narudo and Kasumi. Narumi felt disheartened and wondered when things had started to change. Flashback. He remembered how Narudo and Kasumi weren't always cruel and cold to everyone. His older siblings often smiled, though it was barely noticeable because of how small he was. It all started one day when Narumi and Naruko were taken to the forest to play and their parents asked Narudo and Kasumi to bring them back home. Upon their return, they were greeted by the sight of their parents, Manado and Kusha, sitting on the sofa waiting for them. "Hi, Naruko Chan and Narumi Chan. Did you have fun?" Kusha asked her younger children without even looking at the older ones. Natsumi and Naruko nodded enthusiastically while Narudo and Kasumi remained silent as always, knowing that their mother would forget to ask them too. It's great that we have something to discuss with Naruko Chan and Narumi Chan. So Narudo and Kasumi, could you come up to your houses so we can talk to you? Manado asked the older twins. Why can't we stay out here and listen too? We should be worried too, shouldn't we? Kasumi asked her parents a logical question. This is none of your business. Now go to your room or you won't get dinner tonight if you answer again. We'll call you when we're finished talking," Minato told Narudo and Kasumi, sounding a little annoyed. Narudo and Kasumi simply nodded, their faces expressionless. They turned and headed upstairs to avoid any more trouble than they wanted. As soon as Manado and Kusha were certain the two older twins had entered their room, they began speaking with the two children still standing before them. Manato asked them if they heard a voice inside their heads or if they were simply feeling angry for no apparent reason. After their father finished his questions, they explained to the twins that they were the Genturiki of the Ninetales and why they had been training since childhood to control the Beiju. After a long conversation with the two children, during which they were comforted, they finally calmed down. "Can we talk about this later and have dinner?" Kushina asked the twins who nodded. While everyone was preparing dinner, no one had informed Narut and Kasumi, who as always were angry at having been forgotten. After that day, Naruko and Narumi were trained by their parents to control the Q.B's chakra, following their usual routine. Over time, the younger twins began to receive more praise from the villagers, and their parents gradually forgot about their older siblings. When they saw them at home, they had a cold demeanor that kept them at a distance. Little by little, Narudo and Kasumi faded from people's minds as if they had never existed. In a flashback, Narumi snapped out of her thoughts when Naruko shook her. "Are you all right, Narumi Chan? You looked sad," Naruko asked her sister. "Yes, I'm fine," Naruko Chan. "Come on, we need to start preparing dinner for tonight." Narumi said to her sister. She seemed skeptical but nodded. They finished talking and headed home, receiving cheerful greetings from the villagers. They returned home and entered through the front door. As always, the house was as quiet as ever. "Do you think Kasan will want to cook with us tonight?" Naruko asked her sister, who shrugged, showing that she didn't know. "There's only one way to find out," Naruko Chan. "Let's find out," Narumi told her sister. Then they went upstairs to the bedrooms. A little while later, they were standing in front of Narudo and Kasumi's old room. They knocked on the door, but there was no answer. Naruko sighed. I suppose we'll have to make dinner tonight since she's not feeling as well as usual. She told her sister, who nodded solemnly. They turned the doororknob and entered the desolate room where their older siblings lived. They glanced toward the bed and saw their mother asleep. They approached and looked at her, tears glistening on her face and her brow furrowed. "She's having another nightmare." Naruko told her sister, who nodded. They wiped the tears from her face and both kissed her on the head. Cushion seemed to like it as she smiled in her sleep. Then they straightened the sheets and tucked their mother in properly before quietly leaving the room. Come on, we need to start preparing dinner since he's still asleep. I think we were planning on having soup tonight. If I remember correctly, Narumi told her sister, who agreed. The twins went downstairs and into the kitchen, preparing the ingredients. Narumi took the vegetables out of the refrigerator and placed them on the counter with a cutting board. Naruko began chopping the meat they had started defrosting that morning. "Don't forget we have to bake Tusan's dinner when we're finished," Naruko reminded her sister. Narumi nodded as she chopped the vegetables in front of her. Narumi then began to recount everything that had happened after her older brother's departure. Minato was saddened, but he had to maintain a positive attitude toward the village. He almost always arrived home late at night, looking exhausted from being buried in paperwork. Whenever the ninja squads were on missions, they were informed to keep an eye out for their missing sons. Because of the constant search, the other villages became curious about what had so enraged the blonde Hokag, but they never managed to find out. Kusha undoubtedly suffered the most in the family. Sometimes she slept in Narudo and Kasumi's room and cried in her sleep. She didn't smile as much as before, and when she did, it wasn't truly joyful. The week Narudo and Kasumi left, she had searched for them so relentlessly that she was always completely exhausted. She had calmed down during the two years her older siblings were gone, but every now and then she could be seen with a farway look in her eyes, wondering where her children had gone. Narumi finished chopping all the vegetables and put them in the pot with the other ingredients. Naruko did the same as her sister. Then they washed their hands and cleaned the kitchen. Mom probably just wants to sleep. We haven't checked the garden today, so we need to water the plants. We should go do it right now while we wait for lunch to finish. Naruko told her sister who smiled and nodded. Then they went outside to their small garden and started watering their flowers. As they did, Narumi thought about her siblings. We still have 2 years before we enter the ninja academy. Then we can go find Wan and Oni and bring them back to Kenoha when we graduate and can start doing missions. Natsumi thought this as she gazed at the endless sky above her head. Although as she said this, she felt deep down that it wouldn't come true. In Iwagakure, three weeks had passed since Narudo and Kasumi met Yujito and her group. At first, Yujito and her group were still somewhat wary of Narudo and his group, but that quickly dissipated as they saw how friendly they were after spending time with them. Soon after, they became friends thanks to the kindness and friendliness that Narudo and Kasumi had shown them. Narudo and Kasumi enjoyed their new friends. It was great fun hanging out with Yujito. She had a pleasant personality and was serious when necessary. Sami was entertaining too. Although she tried to remain stoic in front of everyone, Narudo and Kasumi found it easy to make her smile. Kowi was a bit difficult but still pleasant. They just had to make sure not to make her angry or she wouldn't be nice. Omoy was a little odd. He might have been intelligent, but he always worried about the smallest things, which was a bit annoying. During his journey, nothing particularly new happened. As he spent time with Yujito, Samui, and Kowi, Narudo began to feel a strange sensation in his chest whenever he was near them. He felt the exact same thing when he was with his sister Kasumi, only smaller, and it confused him greatly. Seriously, why did he feel butterflies in his stomach? When he asked his mothers what it was, they simply smiled, laughed, and told him he would find out. The only problem is that Narudo and Kasumi never told Yujito's group about their cannibalistic meals for fear of losing their first friends. To keep their identities as goddesses a secret, the goddesses invented names for themselves. Cammy was called Narin and the Shinagami was called Nanise. After their journey, they finally arrived at the village of Awagakir. After waiting to meet with the suchage, they were finally allowed to enter and found themselves standing before the old man. Anokei was an old man. Yes, but he was the current such as well as a living legend just like Hiuen Saratobi. He was able to face Madara Aiha and is the only living Kaget to have done so. He knew he was old and it didn't help that his granddaughter Kuratsuchi reminded him of it every chance she got. At that moment, he was observing a group of six children and two women in front of him. He could easily discern that the boy and girl with white hair and black bangs were strong if his senses were functioning correctly. The boy with white hair and black bangs along with the other girl in the room, blonde with a ponytail, also possessed extremely high chakra reserves. Along with the group of children were two women. He could tell they were of midjonan level. The goddesses can seal their power. Narudo looked at the old man in front of him and became easily irritated. Why are all old people so powerful? The third Hokag of Kinoa was already old when we left and he's still considered the god of Shinobi. It doesn't help that this guy is short and old. What a great combination. Naruto thought. Anokei is a very short elderly man with a triangular beard and angular cornered mustache, a large red nose and bushy eyebrows. The top of his head is completely bald, though he has long white hair on the lower half, styled in a traditional chamomage haircut, the back of which is tied in a bun with a yellow ribbon. Anokei wears a green and yellow coat with a red collar. Underneath, he wears the traditional Awagure attire consisting of a light green version of the Awagakure bulletproof vest and chain mail armor. However, he has both sleeves of his shirt, but retains the single lapel on his right side. He also wears sandals. I want to welcome you to my village. I can easily see that the two white-haired children are strong, as are the two women. My concern right now is why you want to obtain village citizenship and join my ninja academy. So, please could you introduce yourselves? Anokei said, "Thank you for joining us. As for your village, it was the most logical of all the major hidden villages. I'm Narudo, and this is my sister, Kasumi Chan." Narudo began as Anokei listened attentively. Narudo gestured for Yujito to come forward so she could introduce herself and her small group. My name is Yujito Ni and these are my friends Samu Chan Omoy and Kowi Chan. It's a pleasure to meet Satik Sama. Yujito finished her introduction as Anoki nodded before turning his attention to Narudo and Kasumi for his other questions. Kasumi seeing him glance at Narudo and herself took a deep breath before beginning her reasoning. To answer your question, we can't go to Kimogakure because we've been banned from entering. Kiraakure doesn't have the best governmental stability right now. Besides, we simply don't want to deal with Sonakir because of the heat and with Kanahakur because we never want to live there again, Kasumi concluded. Anoki was intrigued to see the anger that flooded Narudo and Kasumi's eyes when Kanoho was mentioned. He also saw the fury of Yujito and her group and wondered what caused those reactions. This is going to be interesting, Anokei thought. I suppose you have a past with Kenoha and Kumo. Could you explain it? Anokei asked, still looking at everyone. Narudo sighed softly, knowing they would have to explain their story. He nodded and looked at Yujito<unk>'s group who nodded awaiting the same question from its such. We can tell you that our only request is that you remove the A&BU from the room and activate a silencing seal. Narudo requested. Anokei confused to hear this agreed. With a wave of his hand, the ENBU dispersed, and with the other, he made the half-tiger sign. As he did so, the room glowed in several spots, showing that the seals had been activated. Anokei grunted signaling them to continue. Yujito and her group went ahead of its suchage who turned his attention to them. Yujito has a large chakra reserved for someone so young and she seems familiar. I can't quite put my finger on why she seems familiar. I wish someone would jog my memory. Anoki thought as he heard Yujito speak. As I've already said, my name is Yujitoi and these are my friends. We had to live in Kimogi before I was expelled. The reason is that I'm the ginuriki of the two tales and I was unjustly accused. Yujito told Anokei whose eyes were now wide with shock. He finally remembered where he had seen that girl before. She had appeared in a report that had been given to him a long time ago. This also clearly explains why she has such a large chakra reserve despite her young age. The status of a genturi is extremely surprising, but it also explains the amount of chakra I sense. I highly doubt the rakage will just let you go," Anokei said, looking her in the eyes. He heard Kerui's sigh before glaring at him with irritation. "Well, you're right that I wouldn't just let her go. She killed someone in self-defense, and it doesn't help that she's hated by the awful civilian population that Kimo contained. The civilians started to react badly and cause riots and protests. The only way the rakage could stop this was by removing Yujito from the village. When we left, we were attacked by ninjas who had been following us. Narudo and Kasumi saved us before they could kill us. Kowi finished her speech in front of the old man. Anokei listened and understood the rakage intention. He had his own ginuriki, Han and Rashi, whom he considered splendid shinobi. The only problem though was that they weren't appreciated even though they were kept at his whim. If something like that were to happen, he would probably have to go through the same procedures as the rakage. If I were in his place, I would surely have done the same. So, I couldn't blame him. But when Yu left the village, why did you all join her? Anokei asked them. Yujito Chan was our friend when she was forced to leave the village. We were all orphans with no family and nothing to keep us tied to the village. I had a brother, but he passed away a couple of years ago. Yujito, Chan, Omoy, and Kowi Chan helped me get through it. We all left because she's our friend, and we couldn't let her leave the village alone. Sami had an opinion on the matter. Although she can sometimes be a bit mean and bossy like Saman, she cares about us, and we all looked out for each other in that village. I left with her and the other girls after she left the village, Omoy said passionately, surprising everyone who knew him since this kind of thing is usually tedious for him. Another reason was that if I didn't leave, I'd be worried about them. Then I'd get bad grades at Kumo Academy. Then I'd miss important things in the middle of class. Then when I became a ninja, I'd be a burden holding my team back. I'd ruin a mission by getting my team captured. and Omoy would have continued his rant if Samwi and Kowi hadn't hit him on the head. That was the omoy everyone remembered. As the idiot said before getting sidetracked with his useless thoughts, "I left with Yujito Chan when she was kicked out of the village because we've been friends for as long as I can remember." Kowi told Anokei while looking down at Omoy, who was rubbing the bump on her head. Anokei nodded, looking at Omoy, who was on the ground knowing that women can be ruthless. leaving a village for a friend. I like that. You have good friends, Miss Ni. Make sure you take care of them, Anokei said to Yujito, who was smiling. Anokei then turned his attention to Narudo and Kasumi, who were also smiling slightly. Now, kids and adults, I think it's your turn to tell your story, Anokei said to Narudo. Hearing this, Yujito's group immediately paid attention, eager to hear the story of their new friend in Kenoha. Narudo looked at Kasumi and she nodded indicating that he should begin. Before we begin, we wanted to tell you something. As you know, Kenoa has been acting strangely these past few years. I'm sure you all know that. The reason is that Kasumi Chan and I left that village 2 years ago. Naro began to capture Anokei's attention. And what's so outlandish that Kenoha is worried about two children leaving the village? Anokei asked asking what everyone was wondering. The reason for this is that we were the former children of Kusha and Minato Namikes. Kasumi told them, finishing what her brother was about to say. A deathly silence fell as Kasumi revealed part of their story. What? The occupants of the room shouted instantly. Kowi immediately threw Narudo to the ground and began shaking him wildly. What do you mean? They're the children of those two legendary figures. Hurry up and answer me, you snowball. Kowi yelled at Narudo, mocking his white hair. Kasumi, seeing her brother shaken to death, approached Kowi and elbowed him in the head. "If you keep shaking him like that, you'll wreck his brain and he won't be able to tell you." Kasumi told Kowi, who rubbed the spot on her head where she'd been pricricked. "I guess you're right," Kowui replied, getting off Narudo. Kasumi then helped her brother up. His eyes were swirling. Anoki cleared his throat to get everyone's attention. Now that I have everyone's attention, Narudo, could you explain what your sister just said?" Anokei asked, his demeanor calm, though his mind was racing. Narudo stood up perfectly, as if Kowi hadn't shaken him nearly to death. "It's just as my sister informed you. We were the eldest children of the fourth Hokag and his wife before they left the village 2 years prior to coming here." Narudo told everyone what his sister had just said. After saying this, Anokei sat behind his desk, rubbing his temples, wondering how to process the information he had just received. Then he began to think about Manado and their confrontation. He quickly learned that Manado hated war with a passion, but he fought nonetheless because it was his duty to his village. Over time, his hatred for Manado lessened, and he became neutral toward the blonde man. First of all, why do you say they were children, and why did you leave the village? Anokei began trying to calm everyone down at that moment. Kasumi Chan and I were Kusha and Manado Namik's firstborn children born 6 years before the Q.B's attack. We were eventually forgotten in favor of the next set of twins Kushina gave birth to. It was clear we weren't welcome in that house or anywhere in the village. We were treated like a pest, a nuisance to everyone, even though we did nothing wrong. Narudo told his story as everyone listened intently. One day we finally snapped when we were attacked while trying to impress them. Shortly after we left the village and on the way found new parents. They also helped us unlock a bloodline. Thanks to this bloodline, the structure of our DNA changed forever. With the help of our new parents, we trained in our new bloodline and became extremely skilled. Kasumi thus ended her story with Kohaa. Throughout history, everyone's perception of Kohaa has declined. So, you're telling me that the fourth Hokag, the man who preaches that we are all family, forgot about his own children and never took care of them? Sami asked, pulling everyone from their thoughts. It's ironic, isn't it? Kasumi Chan and I always wondered if there was something wrong between us. Eventually, we gave up and only cared about each other, especially the night we left. Narudo told everyone as Kasumi smiled sadly. At least they're out of our lives for now and we have a new family. Kasumi shared her thoughts. Anokei listened intently to Narudo and Kasumi as they recounted their past. Then he noticed the two women behind the twins who were much stronger than him. "I suppose you two are Narudo and Kasumi's new parents," Anokei asked. "You're right in your assumption. We took them from their village, made them our children, and gave them the love they were denied by their former families." Cammy told Anokei, who nodded. I don't think I've heard your names before, Anokei said. How rude of us. My name is Narin and this is my sister Nanise. Cammy introduced herself and her sister. Anokei nodded before looking at Narudo and Kasumi. When they said they had altered their DNA, they had obtained a bloodline with the help of these women. Could you prove it? Anokei asked, receiving a nod from Narudo and Kasumi. To everyone's surprise, they shocked everyone by transforming their eyes into an intimidating red and black. Then they activated the next kagun. Narudo sprouted tentacles and a spear in his hand while Kasumi created her wings. Everyone stared in amazement for they had never seen anything like it. Even Anokei observed the additional appendages with a certain admiration. Everything here is part of our lineage. We can develop additional appendages called kagun. With our eyes, we can see chakra when it's activated. Our skin is extremely resilient and we're easily five times stronger than an adult. Narudo began listing the things his lineage could do. So, Suchik Sama, will we be able to join your village and become ninjas in the future? Kasumi asked Anokei. He nodded immediately. It would be foolish not to let them into this village. I know it. They'll all become great ninjas, and I'm looking forward to seeing them progress, replied Anokei, who was also smiling. Since you have nowhere to live in this town, you can stay at my house until you can afford your own place." Anokei informed them and they nodded even more happily than before. "You can wait outside and I'll bring you to my house in a few minutes," Anokei told them. They all nodded before leaving the room. "We have something else to discuss with its suchage. We<unk>ll be out in a few moments," Kasumi told Yujito, who nodded a little confused, wondering what else they had to talk about with the old man. With everyone out of the room, Narudo and Kasumi looked at Anokei, who was gazing thoughtfully out of his office window. To think that Minato Namay would leave these kids alone for most of their lives. They have extraordinary potential and could easily be some of the best ninjas of the future. This is going to be interesting, but a shame. Simply brilliant, Anokei thought. Such a sama, there's something else we need to discuss while everyone is out of the room, Narudo said to the old man, pulling him from his thoughts. Anokei returned to his desk before glancing at the group of four people in front of him. What's wrong? Anokei asked, looking at the two children and the women in front of him. It's about our lineage. It requires us to eat certain things to survive. Kasumi explained to Anokei, who listened curiously, why they needed to tell him. "You're sure to find what you need in the many market sections we have throughout the town," Anokei said, looking at the papers on his desk. "That's the problem. We can't get it at the markets unless they have vendors of human flesh," Kasumi asked, making that such aage stopped dead in his tracks. "What do you mean by that?" Anokei asked, visibly confused. To survive, our lineage must digest meat. Otherwise, we will suffer greatly after a certain time and die if we don't eat anything. We found a way to overcome this problem by eating the corpses of those who have committed suicide or those we simply don't like, Narudo said, observing Anokei's reaction. "Seriously, is this all you two can eat?" Anokei asked, trying to get as many details as possible. We can eat normal food, but it doesn't provide us with the nutrients we need to survive, Kasumi replied. Anokei grunted, indicating that he understood, even though his head was throbbing. As long as you can control your diet, I have no objection to the methods you use to obtain food. Just don't eat the villagers or ninjas, Anokei informed them, receiving a nod from the twins. Since you two are still here, I have a few questions. Narudo, why do you have such a large chakra reserve as your sister? Anokei asked the twins. The reason is that you have a part of the Q.B. Narudo told Anokei, who rubbed his temples again. How come you have a part of the QB? I thought your former brothers had it. Anokei asked. It's true that the fourth Hokag's two sons possess the nine tales, but only a small part of it. The only problem is that they only possess the chakra and not the soul, so they'll never be able to control it. During the ceiling that night, the Ninetailes released part of its chakra and soul and it was absorbed by me. Thanks to this, I can use the Ninetails chakra with your help since we met during our training. So, you can talk to the Beiju and it will help you. The irony is that the fourth Hokag has useless Genturiki who will never be able to use their power. How funny, Anokei said, chuckling to himself. Yes, I can communicate with my Beiju and I have a great relationship with him. Just like Yujito Chan with her Beiju, said Narudo, confirming what Anokei said. Another thing, will both your mothers want to join the Shinobi Corps? Anoki asked. My sister Narin and I have no interest in joining the ninja program. We're<unk> only here because our children chose this village to live in. The Shinagami told Anokei. I suppose that's all I wanted to ask you. Does everyone know about your eating status? Anoki asked Narudo and Kasumi, who simply looked away. Seeing this, he got his answer. Then he sighed and looked at the two twins with a serious expression. They'll find out eventually whether you tell them or not. "It's best to tell them as soon as possible," Anokei told them, offering his own opinion. "We know, but we'd rather not tell you. We just met you and you've become our first friends since we stopped training," Kasumi told Anokei. Anokei sighed before nodding. Very well. It's your decision, but we should leave and make the others stop waiting for us. Anokei told them before leaving his office with Narudo and Kasumi behind him. Was everything all right? Omoy asked them as he left the office. Narudo and Kasumi nodded and smiled. But Yujito's group noticed that something was bothering them. Yes, let's go or the old man will leave us behind. Narudo told them. After saying that, they all followed the old man to his new home. 10 minutes later, the group of children and adults finally arrived at Anokei's house after walking for a while. Looking at the exterior, the house had two floors and was made of plain, unremarkable stone like the rest of the village. Honestly, it didn't seem that big, and they all wondered how they would fit inside. This is where you'll live, you little brats, until you can have your own house. It's not one of the most luxurious places, but it's cozy and you'll grow to like it over time," Anokei told them. Then they went inside the house, and just as he said, they relaxed instantly upon entering. They looked into the living room and saw that it was bigger than it looked from the outside. In the center was a coffee table in front of a fireplace with sofas arranged around it. Then they looked into the kitchen. It had large countertops, several wooden cabinets full of food, and a propane stove. When they had all finished looking around, they found a noki sitting on the sofa. Their rooms will be upstairs. They can choose any except the first one. My granddaughter lives with me because her father is away on missions for long periods and it's better for her to live with me for that reason. Anokei informed everyone. They nodded and went upstairs. They all chose a room all with the same layout. Queen bed, bathroom with shower, dressing room, and bookcase. They finished exploring the upstairs and found Anokei still in the living room. "Thank you again, Suchik Sama, for letting us stay at your house," Narudo said, and everyone nodded. "Okay, and just call me Anokei. I get called Such a Enough at work already, so I prefer not to be called that at home, too." Anokei told everyone, who smiled back. Then he stood up, walked over to the coffee table, and picked up some keys before tossing one to each of them. Those are your keys to this house. I still have to get back to the office today. I suggest you go and take a look around the village to familiarize yourselves with it. Anoki told them before heading for the front door. He was about to leave when he stopped and looked at Narudo and Kasumi. They probably don't want the surnames Namicase or Usuzamaki. Have you come up with a new surname? Anoki asked them. Narudo and Kasumi smiled in response. We've been thinking about it since we started living with our mothers and chose the name Amaya. Narudo told the old man who nodded. Very well. I'll make a note of it when I prepare your village's files. I also think it would be best if we kept your past a secret for a while. Don't you think? Anoki told them. Narudo and Kasumi nodded. It wouldn't be good if Kusha and Manado came and demanded they return to a village they didn't want to live in. With that settled, Anokei left the house and returned to his office. "Well, I guess we should explore the village like you told us," Narudo said to everyone before leaving the house. Then, they split up and went in different directions. Later in the day, a couple of hours had passed since everyone had split up to explore the village. After searching around for a while, Naro found the library, the ninja supply store, and the food markets. It was a bit boring with the whole village made of stone, but what could he expect? People were friendly whenever he greeted them. It was much better than being ignored by everyone in Kenoha. Narudo continued strolling, observing the village where he would now live. He had a strawberry pocky stick in his mouth and more in his pocket. He glanced at the sky covered in clouds that indicated it might rain later. As he walked, he came across a park where children his age were playing. Then he saw a little girl sitting alone on a bench watching the other children play with a sad expression. Wondering what was wrong, he approached the girl until he was beside her. She didn't seem to have noticed him as she was focused on the children playing in front of her. Then he waved his hand in front of her, startling her since she hadn't noticed someone beside her. She turned to the side and Narudo got a good look at her. She was about the same age as her with pink eyes without pupils and dark black hair. She's pretty, as pretty as Kasumi, Yujito, Samwi, and Kowui. Now that I think about it, Narudo thought. He snapped out of his thoughts when he noticed she was about to ask him something. Who are you? The girl asked Naro, who smiled at her in return before sitting down next to her on the bench. I'm Naraya. Nice to meet you. What's your name? Narudo asked the girl who just looked at him strangely because everyone knew who she was. I'm Kuratsuchi that such a kid's granddaughter. The girl named Kuratsuchi told him. She expected Narudo to back away from her since she was the such a kid's granddaughter. She was surprised to see him not leave but instead relax even more on the bench where they were sitting. What a beautiful name for such a beautiful girl, Narudo said sincerely. Kuratsuchi blushed at the compliment. No one had ever told her her name or that she was beautiful except for her father. You're not going to leave knowing who I am now, are you? Kuratsuchi asked curiously. Narudo just looked at her strangely before popping another pocky stick into his mouth. Why would I do that? Naro replied. Everyone tends to avoid me because I'm the such a kid's granddaughter. They think if something bad happens to me, they'll be in trouble. I haven't had any friends for as long as I can remember. Whenever I played with someone my own age, they only pretended to have fun, but they didn't really want to get into trouble, Koratsuchi told Narudo, who frowned before smiling again. I know how you feel, Narudo said, making her a little angry. How do you know what I went through? I'm sure you had friends and people who would love to be with you. Kuratsuchi replied somewhat vehemently. Narudo continued smiling, but this time not with as much joy. I didn't have any friends either until a couple of days ago. I have a twin sister and she was in the same situation as me. We were best friends in a place where nobody wanted or needed us. I don't think anyone should be alone no matter what. Narudo told Karatsuchi surprising her. Then she felt sad for having said something before listening more to the boy in front of her. You never lived here in IWA, did you? Where did you live before? Karatsuchi asked. My sister Kasumi and I used to live in Kenoha. We had a family there who never needed us or cared for us. So, we left. My sister and I met some women who later became like mothers to us and loved us with all their hearts. Recently, we met other people who became our first friends. We all came to IWA to start a new life and become ninjas of the village. Narudo told her Kuratsuchi was a little angry with the family who treated Narudo that way as well as with the village of Kinoa. When she heard him say he would be joining the ninja academy, she was pleased. Are you going to join the academy? I've already enrolled and I can't wait. Karatsuchi said excitedly. Narudo was happy to hear she was joining the academy and smiled even wider. Yes, my sister, my new friends, and I are going to join the academy," she said, still smiling. "I can't wait to get started. I'm going to show everyone how awesome I am and beat them all." Kuratsuchi said, pointing at herself and puffing out her chest. Narudo just laughed and smiled, making her angry. "What? Don't you think I'm going to do anything good while I'm there?" she asked. Narudo stopped laughing when he saw her angry, but he kept smiling. I know you can do it. I think you can achieve a lot if you give it your all, Narudo said reassuringly. Then he stood up from the bench and looked at Kuratsuchi. So, Kuratsuchi, do you want to be friends? I'd love to be your friend if you'll allow it. Narudo said, smiling, looking at the ground. Without a doubt, this was one of the best days of his life. He looked back at Narudo with a big smile and nodded. For the rest of the day, the two new friends played various games such as tag and hideand seek. They walked around the village a bit more and Kuratsuchi showed him the places she liked to visit. As they strolled, Narudo informed her that he would be living with her until he and his group could buy their own house. She was quite surprised that her first friend was living with her and that the grumpy old man had agreed. As they strolled together, Narudo discovered that she was a very self- assured girl who loved to be sarcastic. She was also surprisingly kind. As Narudo discovered while playing with this quiet and carefree girl, Kuratsuchi realized throughout the day that Narudo was unique. No one wanted to get close to her. And when they did, it never felt the same as the time she spent with Narudo. After playing with Narudo all day, Kuratsuchi saw the sun beginning to set. It looked like it was going to rain, judging by the dark clouds that appeared out of nowhere. Then they returned to their shared house to spend the night. They had barely arrived when it started to rain. Luckily, before they could get wet. Upon entering, they saw several shoes by the door, indicating that everyone else was home as well. They went into the living room and saw Yujito, Omoy, Samwi, Kowi, and the goddesses talking amongst themselves. Their hair was all wet, suggesting they had likely already showered. Narudo heard something in the kitchen and told Kuratsuchi to come and investigate. He went into the kitchen and saw Kasumi. She appeared to have showered as well. She was wearing an apron and preparing food. He slowly approached her from behind and looked over her shoulder. "What are you cooking?" Narudo asked Kasumi, who was surprised that her brother had surprised her. "I'm just making steak with white rice and vegetables for dinner," Kasumi said, blushing slightly. She had gotten out of the shower a while ago, so she could feel her brother's breath on the back of her neck. She always felt a strange sensation in her chest when she was near him. It wasn't normal and it bothered her a lot. She always felt dizzy around Narudo and had butterflies in her stomach. "That sounds good. I don't think I've ever seen you wear an apron before." Narudo said to Kasumi. "Well, I didn't want to get dirty since I just showered." "How are you?" she asked before turning to look at him. "You look as beautiful as ever," Kasumi Chan. Maybe even a little more," Narudo said, making her blush with the compliment. When Kasumi heard Naruto's response, she felt that strange sensation in her chest again. She simply smiled and kissed Narudo on the cheek, which made them both blush even more. "Thank you. Now go take a shower while I prepared dinner." Kasumi said to her brother with a smile and left the kitchen. Narudo glanced around the room and saw that Kurat Suchi was fitting in well with everyone. Then he went upstairs to shower as his sister had told him. While he was upstairs, he put up some simple privacy seals in case he ever needed them. By the time he finished showering, Kasumi had already finished dinner. During dinner, everyone seemed to be talking about what they had discovered during the day. Kasumi and the goddesses seemed to have found the academy as well as some restaurants they wanted to visit later. Yujito, Samwi, and Kowi had found the ninja supply store and the clothing shops. Omoy seemed to have found the library, but he fell asleep reading a book while inside. Before anyone knew it, a couple more hours had passed, and it was already dark outside. The rain had begun to fall more heavily, along with some flashes of lightning and thunder. "I'm tired. I think I'll go to bed," Narudo told everyone. They all nodded before getting up and getting ready for sleep. Narudo went into his room and put on a black and white striped shirt and red shorts as pajamas. After a quick good night, Narudo went to his bed, lay down, and stared at the ceiling that I haven't spoken to Kurama all day. I'd better go see how he is, Narudo thought, and fell asleep to the sound of rain and thunder outside. In the mindscape of Narudo, Narudo opened his eyes and saw the lush green forest that was his mental landscape. He had created this forest to replace the dull, simple mental landscape he had experienced during his training with his mothers. It was a simple forest with wild vegetation and a few animals like deer, rabbits, foxes, and so on, scampering about. Narudo ventured into the forest to find his fox friend. A couple of minutes later, he came across Kurama, who was simply resting his head on his paws. He was staring into the void from a cliff. Narudo approached his friend and jumped onto his head. "Hey, Kurama, I'm sorry I haven't talked to you all day. I've just been busy seeing the sights." Narudo said to the fox who growled. I know I can see it through your eyes. Don't you remember? Kurama reminded the boy who simply rubbed the back of his neck. What do you think of the village? In my opinion, it's not bad even though there are stones everywhere. The fox said to the boy who was on his head. I like it here and I don't regret coming. The people are quite friendly with a touch of grumpiness. I also made a new friend. If you've seen her, she's great, just like Kasumi Chan, Yujito Chan, Samui Chan, and Kowi Chan. She likes to act tough, but she's actually nice once you get to know her, Narudo told the fox who was listening. A yes, your new girlfriend. She was too cute to be human. Are you going to add her to your harum of other girlfriends? I'm not sure Kasumi and the other girls will be happy about it, Kurama joked with the boy, who blushed deeply. What the hell are you talking about, you old fox? I don't have a harum and I certainly don't have any girlfriends even though they're all very pretty. Narudo told the old fox who was laughing at the tea. At least you don't deny that. Kurama said laughing to himself with a whiny Narudo hovering over his head. Changing the subject. I sense two more ginuriki in the village. Kurama informed the boy who was upside down. How come you didn't tell me before? Can you identify them? Naro asked the fox. Of course, I can tell my closest brothers and sisters apart. I wouldn't be the strongest if I couldn't do something so simple. Son Goku and Kokuo, the four-tailed and five-tailed ones, respectively. I didn't tell you before, so I wouldn't ruin your game night with your girlfriend. Kurama said to Narudo with an amused smile. Damn it, Kurama. I said she's not my girlfriend. Narudo yelled at the fox, who laughed again. Whatever it is you're denying, Kurama said before continuing. But we should go see them soon. I'm sure you wouldn't mind meeting more Ginuriki while you're there. Kurama told the boy who nodded. Yes, I wouldn't mind looking for them tomorrow. I don't have anything planned, Naruto told the fox. Kurama then sensed someone from the real world knocking on Naruto's door. Looks like we have a plan then. It seems you have a visitor in the real world. You should go check it out while I go back to sleep. Kurama told Naro, who was confused and standing next to his room. Okay, I'll talk to you later, Kurama. Good night, Narudo said to his friend before disappearing from his mind, leaving the fox alone. Outside of Naruto's mental landscape, Narudo woke up to the sound of someone knocking on his door. The rain from earlier was now falling much harder with thunder and lightning outside. It was a little difficult to hear the knocks over the noise outside. In Naruto Coen, Kuratsuchi exclaimed in fright as lightning struck with a thunderous crash. Are you still awake? Kuratsuchi asked, hugging herself as more thunder crashed outside. She listened for a moment, searching for any sound inside the room, but found only silence. Dne knew he had already fallen asleep, Kuratsuchi thought sadly, and began to walk away just as the door opened. Kuratsuchi Chan Narudo asked wearily, rubbing his eyes to shake off the sleepiness with his left hand. Kuratsuchi simply stared at the ground, embarrassed for having woken her friend. Can I sleep with you? I'm afraid of storms. I was starting to get over it. But this one is terrible, Kuratsuchi told Narudo. She had rested her head on his chest. She trembled and shuddered every time lightning and thunder crashed outside. Narudo simply smiled and hugged her. She relaxed a little but still shuddered. "Wow, who would have thought that the girl who wanted to be the best in the academy is afraid of storms?" Naro thought, still hugging her. "That's fine. The rain doesn't look like it's going to let up anytime soon," Narudo said, gently rubbing her back. Kuratsuchi looked up at Narudo and met his gaze. "Thank you," she said simply. Then they entered Naruto's room and he activated some privacy seals he had placed earlier. When he did, the weather outside was considerably grayer, but they could still hear. They approached her bed and laid down together with Narudo still holding her. He began to stroke her short black hair. She slowly snuggled against Narudo, still shivering from the noises outside. "Good night, Kuro Chan," Narudo said, making her blush at the nickname. Good night, Narut Kun," she replied, yawning, and fell asleep in his arms. Narudo smiled gently as he watched her sleep so peacefully. Soon he fell asleep, too, listening to the rain outside. The following morning, Narudo woke up in his bed as the morning rays filtered through the curtains. He smiled, remembering the previous day and everything he had done since arriving in his new village. His most memorable moment was undoubtedly when he made a new friend. He glanced down at his chest and saw the girl sleeping on him as if he were a mattress. A little drool trickled from the corner of Kuratsuchi's mouth, making her look adorable. Then he brushed the lock of hair that covered her face, making her smile and hug him while she was still asleep. I should take her back to her room before they see us like this," Narudo thought. Then he began to move gently beneath Kuratsuchi so as not to wake her. She must have felt him move because she groaned in protest and clung to him even tighter. He simply sighed, knowing she must be comfortable, as Kasumi always did when she slept with him. Slowly, he released her arms. She frowned and groaned in protest. He simply chuckled and lifted her into his arms, careful not to wake her. Kuratsuchi in response smiled in her sleep and snuggled against his chest trying to absorb as much of his body heat as possible. He carefully opened the door with his foot and left his room heading towards Karatsuchi. He reached her room, opened the door and looked inside. The room was certainly more furnished than his own. It had a bed and a bathroom very similar to his. The walls were painted a pretty blue green color. Around the room were more shelves filled with simple items like books, scrolls, and ninja tools. He approached her bed and gently laid her down, making her moan again. Then he noticed two stuffed animals near the foot of the bed. He picked them up and looked at them, amused. Both were rabbits. The first was mostly white with some blue and purple markings. He saw writing on its paw, and its name was Tuka. The second rabbit was mostly black with some white patches. The odd thing was that it had a patch over its left eye. He looked for a name on the rabbit's paw and saw the name Keniki written there. Tuka and Keniki. What lovely names for stuffed rabbits, Naro thought. Then he went over and gave the rabbits to Kuratsuchi. She instantly grabbed them and slept with them in a tight embrace. How cute. She still sleeps with stuffed animals, Narudo said to himself. Then he went to his desk and wrote her a note to leave for when she woke up. After finishing the note, he left the room. Narudo reached Kuratsuchi's bedroom door and opened it quietly. He peakedked into the hallway to make sure no one was there. It wouldn't be good if someone saw him leaving a girl's room so early in the morning. He left the room when he sensed no one was around. He glanced back at the door to make sure it closed silently. Then he turned around and found himself face to face with a noki staring at him. He froze, staring blankly at the old man in front of him. Good morning, Narudo. I'd like to take a walk with you, and I'll wait for you at the door." Anokei said to Narudo before heading downstairs. Narudo nodded before going into his room to get dressed. He was furious. It was bad enough being caught in Kuratsuchi's room so early. The situation worsened when the strongest man in Iwa and the girl's grandfather caught him. Narudo left his room in his black suit and went downstairs. He saw Anokei waiting patiently by the door. Narudo couldn't decipher the blank expression on Anoki's face, which worried him even more. He stood next to Anokei. The old man simply looked at him and proceeded to open the door and float away. As they walked outside, several villagers bowed to Anokei or greeted Narudo if they had encountered him the day before. The ground was muddy and the air humid from the previous night's rain. From what Narudo could tell, they were currently walking towards the suchage tower. But they were walking through various places like food markets to get there. After about 10 minutes of walking, they finally reached the tower and gazed down at the village from above. Anokei finally looked at Narudo, who swallowed hard before turning his gaze back to the village. I love my village and will do everything in my power to keep it at peace. This is the task I assumed upon becoming such aage. Anoki informed Narudo who was confused by the reason for this information. The only problem with being the village leader is that people start treating you differently. This is the problem Kuratsuchi faces every day. She's constantly left alone because I'm such a sure you were informed of this yesterday when you became her first friend. Anokei told Narudo. He finally understood what the old man was trying to say. I might not show it much, but I care about Kuratsuchi and only want what's best for her. There's not much I can do for her, and the rest is up to her. When I got home yesterday, it was such a relief to see her smiling as much as she did with you and her new friends. I want to thank you for doing that and becoming the first friend she needs," Anokei said, a hint of happiness in his voice. Narudo stood there and smiled back before speaking. I don't think anyone should be left alone for stupid reasons like being related to powerful people. Loneliness isn't the best feeling in the world, and I'm glad I had Kasumi to keep me company for years. Unlike Kurochan, who had no one to lean on and was alone most of the time, Narudo told Enoki. The old man simply smiled slightly and raised an eyebrow at the nickname he'd given his granddaughter. Now, regarding your presence in Kuratsuchi's room this morning, Anokei began making Narudo stiff as a board. I understand she has a problem with thunderstorms and likely came to you for help. I'm glad I could do that with you after such a short time. If I find out you heard her, I'll show you the power I possess. The power that allows me to be the third Suchikitch. Anokei threatened Narudo. Narudo was still scared, but he turned to face the old man nonetheless. Of course, Sachik sama, I would never hurt Kurochan. I will always take care of my friends as best I can, even when I'm young. But that just means I have many years left to become stronger, Narudo replied. Anokei looked at the boy's face and saw the determination in his eyes. He was surprised to see the passion in those blue and violet eyes. I assure you, Narudo. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have work to do today, Anokei said before entering the tower to work. Narudo stayed there looking over the village, enjoying the view the tower afforded him of the rocky village. I'm glad Kasumi and I chose this village. I don't regret it and I never will, Narudo told himself. Then he felt a stirring in his mind and knew that a certain fox was awake. I think we were planning to look for my brothers today. I can feel them both standing next to each other in the northern part of the village. Kurama reminded him while yawning. All right, let's meet another Ginshuriki Kurama," Narudo replied to the fox. He surveyed the village bathed in the morning sunlight. After a couple of minutes, he leaped from the top of the tower, landed on a nearby building, and sprinted toward the signatures. Back at home, Kurat Suchi had barely begun to wake up to start her morning routine. She opened her eyes, expecting to be in her best friend's room, but found herself in her own, cuddling her two rabbits. She glanced at the clock on her bedside table and saw that it read 8 col 30. It was last night just a dream. Why? She wondered a little disappointed. I felt so warm and safe in his arms. She said blushing slightly before shaking her head. Sot I in the end. It was just my imagination. Kuratsuchi said without addressing anyone. Then he went to the bathroom to begin his daily routine. After finishing in the bathroom, she got dressed. She was wearing a simple red t-shirt with a rabbit print and black shorts. As she left her room, she saw a note on her dresser out of the corner of her eye. She picked it up and began to read it. Hello, Kuro Chan. I hope you're feeling better after last night. I have some things to do today, so I took you to your room when you woke up. If you ever need to sleep with me again because of the rain, I won't mind. We'll talk later. Narudo. After reading the note, Kuratsuchi was instantly pleased. So, it wasn't a dream, she said, looking much happier than before. I have to thank you for last night when I get back. When she went downstairs, she went to the kitchen and saw that everyone was already there. Kasumi was preparing breakfast while Omoy, Kerui, Samui, and Yujito waited at the table. Kasumi smiled when she saw Kuratsuchi was awake, but her smile almost vanished when she caught her scent. She could smell her brother's scent strongly on her friend, which confused her. She would have to ask her about it later. Her sense of smell was highly developed because she was a ghoul. But it wasn't as good as that of the Inuzuka clan members. Good morning, Kuratsuchi Chan. I'm preparing breakfast for everyone, so please sit down and wait until I'm finished, Kasumi said. She nodded and sat down with the others. Kuratsuchi chatted with the others at the table until Kasumi brought the food. She had prepared steamed rice, miso soup, and tamagoi. Kasumi placed the food in front of everyone. The mere aroma made their mouths water. "This looks delicious," Kasumi. "Thank you," Yujito said, receiving a nod of thanks from the white-haired girl. "Thank you. I need to wake Nissan up right now, so I'll be right back," Kasumi said, heading for the room. "He's not here, Kasumi. He said he had things to finish today and left early." Kuratsuchi told her, making Kasumi stop and turn around with a confused expression. I was going to thank him for helping me with something last night, and he left a note, Kuratsuchi said. Kasumi then scanned the house, but couldn't sense her twin. I wonder where Narudo went, but I'm sure it was important if he left early. Omoy said, still staring at the food. I can sense his chakra thanks to the two tales. It seems he's heading north of the village, Yujito informed them. Perhaps if you eat fast enough, kitten, you can catch him and make him your mate with an intimate moment. That was all Matatabi could say before she was interrupted. Shut up, Matatabi. I'm too young for that. Yujito scolded her. Beiju, but now with a flushed face. Well, there's nothing we can do right now, but can we start eating? Kowi said, and at the same time felt a growl in her stomach. Everyone laughed at her, making her sink into her chair in embarrassment. I'm sure Narudokuin will tell us later what he was doing, but let's eat for now, Sami said. Everyone sat down at the table and with a quick itakamasu began to eat the delicious meal Kasumi had prepared. Back with Narudo, Narudo leaped from tree to tree in a training field. Just like in Kenoha, each village had specialized training grounds for different situations. After leaping for a couple more minutes, he landed in a tree and saw two men on the ground staring at each other. Narudo tried to lower his chakra level so they wouldn't notice him, but they could probably still sense him. They have more experience than him, and it's very likely they can perceive Kurama. Mental note, ask them for advice on how to suppress the Bija chakra, Narudo said. The man on the left was an older, possessed man with red hair, a mustache, and a beard. He wore a large headdress with a three-pointed crown-like crest which contained his awagakure forehead protector, a ring, and a prominent piece of black armor that ran across his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. He wore a light red long-sleeved shirt and trousers with a mesh undershirt and a tight-fitting black suit underneath along with calf high sandals. Around his waist, he wore a brown sash that held up a brown corass similar to armor with a pouch in the front, a brown back plate on the back that is connected to the front with male armor and armored flaps that fell to the sides. To Naruto's right stood another man, undoubtedly one of the tallest he had ever seen. He too wore heavy armor, and Narudo believed that something on his back emitted steam. His armor reached down to the lower half of his face, completely obscuring it. Beneath this, he wore a white cloth that also covered both sides of his face and the top of his head. In addition to his red armor, he wore a red straw hat over the white cloth, which appeared to be made of the same material as his armor and his furnace. He wore his Aagakure forehead protector over a black cloth on top of his armor. He also wore a black GI with the sleeves seemingly torn off and black gloves. He also wore what appeared to be a bronze-coled ring around his neck over his red armor. Furthermore, the armor covering his arms and torso was made of plate. His right hand was inside his GI. These are the two men, Narudo. The one on the left appears to be holding the four tails. The one on the right appears to be holding the three tails. Kurama informed him. Yes, I've seen them before in the bingo book. Rashi of the lava element and Han of the steam element, Narudo confirmed this mentally. Why does Han constantly have steam coming out of his armor? Narudo asked. Each the Genturiki of the Gobi must wear a special armored suit. While not essential for survival, it certainly helps them. A strange side effect of being sealed with the Gobi is that they begin to produce a large amount of steam from their skin. The steam is obviously harmless to them, but to others it is a mild acid. Creatures that burn and cut upon contact with it. This obviously makes it difficult for them to perform small tasks that others can easily accomplish. It seems horrible to be sealed with the goi. Are there any advantages to being its ginuriki? Narudo asked. The user has access to boiling release which is excellent for both defense and offense. With the steam, they can enhance their physical attacks based on the pressure applied, Kurama replied. The Yambi also grants its Ginuriki the ability to use lava release, he continued. But why haven't I acquired skills as cool as that? You stupid lame fox. Narudo pouted. You ungrateful brat. I increase your already amazing healing abilities to incredible levels, grant you sensitivity to negative emotions, and sharpen your senses. Kurama shouted furiously. "I know. I was just teasing you, Kurama. You're amazing. Now we need to be quiet. They're starting to talk," he said. Narudo said to the fox, who only grumbled in the field. "It seems we have a child in the audience today." "Isn't that right, Han?" Rashi began to speak. "It seems so, but you know what I think of others, Rashi?" Han replied, "Yes, I know you don't like people, Han, but he's just a kid. It won't be so bad if he watches us train. Rashi replied, I sense another Beiju inside the boy. It seems to be the QB, but it seems weaker for some reason. And I don't know why. That a voice answered in Rashi and Han's heads. Really, Son Goku? Can you feel it too? Koko? Han asked. Yes, but as Son Goku said, the QB feels weaker than it should be. Dashi replied. He also seems to be suppressing his chakra. He should know that at his level, we're very likely to detect him. Rashi said, "The boy's chakra also seems large for someone so small." "Interesting," Han said. "We can talk to the kid after we finish our training." "As always, let's not go overboard," Rashi explained, receiving a snarl from Han. "Please count down, Son Goku, Koko," Han requested politely. "I suppose slash, of course, Son Goku and Koko answered. In 3 2 1 begin, the two Beiju said at the same time. Rashi drew some canai and began throwing them at his opponent. Han immediately drew his own canai, holding it with a reverse grip, and began blocking them. One of them landed at his feet and he saw a tag engulfed in flames. He looked back at Rashi and saw that Rashi was holding a sign with his hand. When hey, Rashi shouted and the canai at Han's feet exploded. Rashi waited for Han to make a move, knowing it wouldn't affect him. As soon as the dust began to swirl, his senses snapped and he jumped out of the way. "Grass release! Smoking Shuriken Han!" he shouted. From the dust, several shurikens covered in boiling water flew toward him. As he jumped, the attack missed. But when he looked at the tree that had been hit, he could see it rapidly corroding until it disappeared. "Boiling release! unmatched strength," Han said before lunging at Rashi. He immediately unleashed a barrage of punches aimed at Rashi's face and chest. Rashi could do nothing but dodge them because of the corrosive steam on his fists and legs. Seeing an opening, Rashi attacked Han's legs, forcing him to jump to avoid it. He immediately struck Han twice in the torso before kicking him. Lava release. Lava bullet Rashi shouted and spat some lava at Han. To avoid being hit, he began performing hand seals in retaliation. "Boiling release, boiling shot," Han said, spitting boiling water. The two attacks connected, covering the field in steam. Taking advantage of the situation, Han began to gather all the steam around him and made more hand signals. Grass release boiling water dragon, he yelled and fired at Rashi. Even with all the surrounding steam, he was able to pinpoint Rashi's location with the help of the Gobi. The attack hit and Rashi was thrown backward into a tree, his armor badly damaged. Han increased the pressure with his suit and launched himself at Rashi. Unmatched strength, eruptive strong foot to attack hit, but instead of his opponent being knocked back, he was launched into the air. He landed a short distance away and saw that lava covered parts of his armor. He looked back at Rashi's previous position and saw only lava in its place. Lava clone. But where was all he had to say before he felt Rashi appear behind him. Lava release. Scorching armored fist. Rashi said his arm covered in lava. The attack struck Hans's back, sending him crashing into a tree, groaning in pain. He barely had time to recover before he saw Rashi attacking him again. Lava release. Scorching current rock technique. Hey, Rashi shouted. Multiple molten rocks hurdled toward him, forcing him to his feet and dodge. Finally, he got to his feet and began gesturing with his hands, and Rashi mimicked him. "Water release! Explosive giant water shock wave!" Han said before spitting a large amount of water at Rashi. "Lava release, molten river," Rashi replied. He spat a large amount of lava from his mouth to stop the water heading towards him. The two attacks reignited the tension in the area. In a final attempt to take down Rashi, Han increased the pressure in his suit and launched himself forward. Rashi was still trying to recover from his last jutzu, so he couldn't defend himself properly. Grass release, eruptive propulsion fist, Han shouted. Rashi, unable to block in time, received an extremely powerful punch to the chest. He was immediately thrown to the other side of the field due to the force of the attack. He got up, wincing from the attack, and sighed in defeat. "I give you the victory, Han. You win the fight," Rashi said, clutching his chest and trying to sooththe the pain. Then he checked his armor and saw that there were corroded areas where Han had hit him. "I'm going to have to fix this," Rashi said to himself. Han looked at his armor and thought exactly the same thing because of the burned areas. Han turned toward the tree where he'd sensed the boy's signature. "Get down, kid!" he shouted, catching Naruto's attention. Narudo leaped from his perch in the tree. He landed in front of the two men and couldn't help but be amazed at what they were capable of. Even though it was just a simple spar, it showed him the potential all Ginuriki possessed to become stronger. He snapped out of his revery when he noticed the two men staring at him, waiting for him to say something. "Sorry, my name is Narudo Amaya and my sister and I just moved to the village," Narudo said. That explains everything. My name is Rashi Gaki and this is my friend Han. Rashi said. Han simply looked at Narudo and nodded. Nice to meet you, Han said in a simple greeting. Now, we have a quick question. Do you know the tenant you have? Rashi asked, pointing at Naruto's stomach. Yes, I met him about 4 years ago. I noticed you guys have one too, and I wanted to meet you, Naruto explained. I think it would be best if we talk somewhere more secluded. Touch my fist and we can talk in our mindscape," Hans said. The two men extended their fists toward Narudo, inviting him to do the same. The blonde nodded, made a fist, and touched the hands of the other two gingeri before being pulled inside in the mental landscape. When Narudo opened his eyes, he saw Kurama sitting on his head. They were in an orange room that exuded a sense of well-being. In front of him, he could see Han and Rashi perched a top their own Beiju<unk>s head. Rashi was sitting on a monkey with red fur and green skin. Behind him, Fales swung lazily, indicating that it was the Yani. Han was standing on what he could only describe as a white horn dolphin horse. Behind it, Five Tales indicated that it was the Gobi. "Well, look at that." Kurama sealed him inside a human. Something he said would never happen to him. The Yambi laughed. Kurama just growled at the stupid monkey in front of him. "Shut your mouth, Son Goku, or I'll show you why I was always the strongest of all," Kurama warned his brother. The monkey simply stopped laughing, but the mocking smile on his face was still visible. "Could you two stop fighting already? This always happens when we see each other." "What?" Koko asked politely. "Your brothers can be very annoying, but at least it's not as bad as when Shikaku argues with Kurama. You can't say anything, Koko. You and Matabi always fight when you meet. Kurama joked, addressing his sister. That's because Matatabi has no self-control, and it bothers me so much. She must be one of the biggest perverts in our family. It's unbecoming of a woman, and she doesn't care," Kokuo shouted in her defense. But they were right. She was being a hypocrite. "It wasn't her fault her sister was such a pervert. Well, you should be glad to see her again soon. Narudo brought Matatabi's Ginuriki with him, and now he's staying in the village. Kurama told his sister, who simply lowered her head in defeat. She really didn't want to deal with Matatabi. "Yes," Aikoko replied. "We wanted to talk about that, too. It seems you already have ninja training. If you arrived recently, where did you come from?" Han asked. He immediately saw the hatred in Naruto's eyes. This was going to take a while. Narudo told them what had happened in the village of Keninoa. His return from Kasumi and his abandonment until he found two new mothers. The four years of training that he and his sister spent to become stronger. His encounter with Yujito and her group. And finally, his arrival at his new village Iwa. Rashi and Han certainly weren't thrilled to hear Naruto's story. They'd been told that the fourth Hokag was a man who loved his family and village above all else. It seemed like a lie if he was willing to abandon two children to their fate. The same could be said of Kokuo and son Goku. They became furious when the reason for ignoring Narudo and Kasumi was explained to them. It was simply because Manado felt it was more important to take care of the two unstable Genturiki children. This was the reason they despised humanity. They were used for the benefit of others and that's why they often harmed others. Well, that clears up a lot of things. It also explains why the fourth Hokag has been acting so strangely for the past 2 years. He was trying to hide the fact that his two sons left the village because of his neglect. It wouldn't be good for the village or for him. So, he's trying to keep it a secret. Rashi explained. Poor child. It must have been awful being all alone. I'm so glad you and your sister have found new family and friends. Koko told Naro sympathetically. Narudo just nodded. He didn't know what would have happened if he hadn't had his sister and mother to help him along the way. That's why Kurama's chakra felt so different. It was inside Naruko and Narumi. Will you get it back in the future? So, when I find a good opportunity to retrieve Kurama's chakra, I will, Naro replied. Welcome to a Wagakir village, Narudo. And I hope you enjoy it, Han said. Thank you, Han. I'll try to bring Yujito Chan with me next time so you can meet her, too. Naruto replied. "I really don't feel like watching it again," Koko said, making his brothers laugh. The air around them began to distort before Naro felt them returning to the real world outside a mindscape. When Naro opened his eyes again, he saw that it was getting very dark outside. "Wow, it's almost night already. We must have been in the mindscape all day." Narudo said to himself, "Yes, we've been talking since noon, and it's just after 7:00." Koko thought to himself, surprising him. Han and Rashi chuckled as they heard Koko appear in the boy's head. "When a ginuriki establishes a mental connection with another, they can communicate mentally over a distance," Rashi explained. Narudo nodded and thought how useful this would be in the future. "Ah, okay, that's useful. I'll tell you later. Kasumi is going to be mad if I don't get home soon, he said before hopping off towards Anokei's house. What an interesting boy, don't you think, Rashi? Han asked his friend. Rashi continued watching Narudo as he walked back to the village. That's definitely Han, Rashi replied. Back at home, the girls of the house were sitting on a blanket in their backyard, gazing at the starry night sky. It was a peaceful spot with a light breeze and a cool temperature. They could have stayed there all night looking at the stars. Kasumi stared at Kuratsuchi, wondering how her brother had helped her. She knew it was none of her business, but she couldn't help it. He'd been bothering her terribly, and she didn't understand why. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that Kuratsuchi smelled like her brother. "Hey, Kuratsuchi Chan, how did my brother help you yesterday? You were really looking forward to seeing him this morning, but he'd already left the house." Kasumi asked the girl in question. Upon hearing this, Kuratsuchi blushed immediately, causing all the girls to raise their eyebrows. It was nothing. He just helped me with something small, and it was a big help, she said quickly. "Well, it couldn't have been that small if you didn't want to tell us." "The blush on your face is getting bigger, too, which makes you look funny," Kowi said with a mocking smile. Kuratsuchi became even more flustered before looking away. They immediately burst out laughing at the poor girl. Fine, I'll tell you. Stop laughing at me. It's embarrassing enough, she muttered. The other girls calmed down instantly and stared at her. I've always been afraid of storms. I'm sure you all heard the one last night, and it was really strong, he told them. They started to chuckle, amused. They quickly fell silent when they realized he was serious. I apologized for being so rude. You may continue, Sammy said. I guess I always went to my dad when I was scared and it made me feel better. Since he wasn't there, I went to the first friend I made yesterday. Narudo let me sleep with him and I hadn't slept so well in ages. He just made all the loud noises disappear when I lay down next to him and I really wanted to thank him for doing that for me even though he didn't have to. He explained, "Everyone sat listening to what she wanted to thank Narudo for. They shouldn't be surprised. Narudo has a way of making you feel better without even trying. Well, it was a nice gesture on his part. Narudokuin is a good person and I'm glad he did it for you. Yujito said smiling at him. Narudo and I is a good person, right? Kasumi said and everyone nodded. Although she was happy for Kuratsuchi, she was also a little scared. Her brother only ever let her sleep with him before. What if he got bored and started hanging out with everyone but her? And what if one day Oniis stops caring? She thought. She knew her brother would always love her and be there for her. But that thought always frightened her. Then out of the corner of her eye, she saw the object of her thoughts land in the backyard with them. "Hey girls," Narudo greeted them. All the girls smiled at him and gave him a small wave. "Where have you been all day?" Kui asked. Narudo told them how he met the other two Ginuriki in the village, Han and Rashi. He spoke about the fight he had witnessed and his opinion of them. So, you were out all day, Narudo. We were a little worried when you suddenly left this morning. Sami said, "Sorry, I wanted to get it over with as quickly as possible. I should have warned you sooner," he replied. "Everyone's stomachs growled, making them laugh." "I suppose no one's had dinner yet," he asked, prompting everyone to shake their heads. With that, everyone went inside to help prepare dinner. Narudo noticed Kuratsuchi still standing on the roof, staring blankly at the stars. He approached her and touched her shoulder, making her jump in surprise. "Hi, everyone's going inside to make dinner. Are you coming?" he asked. She looked at him and saw him smiling, which made her smile, too. "Sorry, I was looking at the stars," she said. Narudo started walking back to the house when he felt Kuratsuchi take his hand. She wasn't looking at him, but he noticed her embarrassment from her tense posture and slight blush. Um, I just wanted to thank you again, or about last night again, she finally said after a while. I told you in the note that I was perfectly fine, and if you ever need to sleep with me again, that's no problem, she said. She just nodded before going back inside to prepare dinner with the others. Later that night, Narudo lay in bed, reflecting on how well his day had gone. In his opinion, the meeting between the two Ginchuriki had been a complete success. Even so, he knew he had to bring Yujito with him the next time he visited Rashi and Han. It was almost midnight and she began to sense her sister's emotions. She was a little upset and scared at the same time that what's wrong with him. Why? She wondered. Kasumi and the two of them had always been able to sense when the other was upset. So, when one of them had a problem, they would go and talk about it. The only odd thing was that Kasumi didn't seem to want to talk to him this time. So, if she wasn't going to talk to him, he would go talk to her. Then, he got out of bed, opened his bedroom door, and went out into the hallway. It was completely silent because everyone in the house was asleep. He walked down the hall to his sister's bedroom door. He knocked before opening it and went inside. Kasumi was sitting on her bed, lost in thought. She was so absorbed in her thoughts that she didn't even notice her brother enter the room. What's wrong? Kasumi Chan Naro asked. He approached her bed and sat beside her. Kasumi looked at her brother before resting her head on him. Onien you'll never leave me. Will you? She asked. He simply looked at his twin curiously. "Why do you say that, Kasumi?" he asked. He cuped her chin in his hand, looked at her intently, and saw that she had tears in her eyes. "I guess I'm afraid you'll get along with everyone. that one day you'll spend more time with them and forget about me," she said. He simply hugged her and she rested her head on his shoulder. "She wouldn't know what to do if her brother left her." After a couple of minutes, he pulled away and saw that her tears had disappeared. Then he took her hand and intertwined their fingers. "Kasumi, do you remember the promise I made to you so many years ago?" he asked. When Narudo said this, a memory surfaced clearly in her mind. I completely forgot about that day, she told herself. She closed her eyes and remembered the day he promised to always be with her. Flashback. Those eyes continued to stare at her. She didn't understand why they always looked at her like that with anger and hatred. She did nothing to deserve the look she received. She was a good girl. Her brother always said so. So why did people always look at her as if they didn't care or as if she were just a burden? Then she remembered the situation she was in. She began to look around in despair. Her brother wasn't by her side. The hand that always held hers was cold, very cold. A traveling merchant selling adorable animals had distracted her. She saw the rabbits and went to observe them in wonder. When she came to her senses, she could not find her brother wherever she looked. "Oni," she said to herself. They were going to play in the park today. She was so excited that she started dragging her brother along immediately after breakfast. She should have thought twice before trying to run through the shops and the market. Now she was lost and alone without her brother. Oni Chan. Tears began to well up in her eyes and she stubbornly rubbed them. She wouldn't cry, never in front of all those cruel people, but it was so difficult. She just wanted to hide from everyone's stairs and retreat to the safety of her bed. Where did you go, Oni? I chan. Her brother had always been by her side for as long as she could remember. Her parents did love them and looked at her the same way they looked at all those other people. They didn't care about her, and saw her as a nuisance. He was the best brother in the world. He always made her smile, and did everything he could to make her happy. He played with her when she asked, held her hand, and brushed her hair. She couldn't imagine a moment when she wasn't with her twin. But now alone and scared, she tried to call the only person who cared for her in that town. Her brother was kind and strong. She barely noticed that he had been distracting her from people's stairs. He kept his attention on something else when they were outside. He was always her protector, her warmth, and he couldn't find it. She wept, sliding against the wall, hugging herself, trying to recreate the warmth her brother gave her. Some looked at her with concern, but most kept walking without looking back. They didn't want to waste their time dealing with someone like her. Kasumi. She looked up surprised and happy when she saw her brother running toward her. She cried out as he approached, immediately reaching out to him. He hugged her tightly, whispering comforting words that calmed her. He ignored the stairs behind him. He looked away from the curious onlookers who were approaching. She hugged him with all her strength, easing the pain. She felt warm in his arms. She felt safe once again, protected and loved. "I'm sorry, Kasumi," he whispered. She shook her head, which rested on his shoulder. "I was scared, Oni Chan. I thought you'd left me." "Never again, Kasumi," he promised, taking her hand and intertwining their fingers. "I will never leave you." End of flashback. After all these years, he kept his promise and never abandoned her. She felt stupid for forgetting that day and thinking that her brother would leave her side. Kasumi felt Narudo begin to help her into bed. Sleep was overtaking her, making the soft bed seems so inviting. Just when she thought he was going to leave the room, he lay down beside her. I think it would be better if I slept with you tonight, don't you think? He asked with a smile. She nodded and hugged him. I love you, Oni. I chan. Good night, she whispered. He felt his heart raise as he said those words. He'd always said that to her when they were little. So why was she acting like this? I need to ask Hachon, it was said. I love you too, Kasumi Chan. Good night, she whispered. Her heart was beating faster just like her sisters. It still bothered her that she couldn't understand it. It's like when I talked to the other girls, he said to himself, "Damn his mother for not telling him how I felt." He knew he'd have to deal with it later as he was tired from today's activities. He simply pulled his sister close to his chest and listened to her snoring. Soon he was lulled into a peaceful sleep and fell asleep as well. The two twins simply lay in bed, warming each other as they slept through the night. Jeriah was known as one of the legendary Sanin of Kanahakur. He was part of the same team as the legendary medicade Sanenju and the deceased Nin Orochimaru. The team had endured many hardships to achieve their fame, but it was Hanzo the salamander who gave them their name. He was known as the Toad Sage due to his special affinity with toads and for possessing the toad summoning contract. Besides being one of the strongest ninja Kinoa has ever produced, he was also the sensei of the current fourth Hokag, Manado Namicase. Famous as a reclusive and incredibly skilled pervert, Jeriah traveled the world seeking knowledge that could benefit his friends, the various novels he wrote, and the world at large. He spent most of his time either as an expert spy for his home village or gathering material for his famous Aika Aika series, a series of perverted novels that has been the bane of many women since the publication of the first book. Jeriah was a tall man with waistlength spiky white hair, usually tied back in a ponytail and two fringes that reached his shoulders and framed his face. He also had red lines running down from his eyes and wore a horned forehead protector bearing the kanji for oil. Jer wore a short green kimono and matching pants. Underneath, he wore chain mail armor that peaked out from his sleeves and legs. He completed his attire with handguards, a simple black belt, wooden sandals, a red hayori with two simple yellow circles on each side, and a scroll on his back. After about 2 years, she was finally returning to the Hidden Leaf Village. She had been away busy with her spy network as well as her next book in the Aika Aika series. He'd received a message from his student asking if he could come home as soon as possible. He couldn't reply right away because he was trying to gather information about a new mercenary group that had recently emerged. Although they didn't seem to pose a problem at the moment, it was always good to keep an eye on the group just in case. Jeriah stood in the Hokag tower next to his student whom he had just punched in the jaw. "What the hell were you thinking?" he yelled. Manato could only look away and rub his jaw, which was already starting to hurt. I understand forgetting a child's birthday, but forgetting it completely every day. There's no excuse for the decisions you and your wife made. He shouted at his student. Cushion sat to the side, tears streaming down her face as her body trembled. She couldn't look at the man she considered a father figure because of the painful truth he was telling her. And you, Kusha, this is your fault, too. You and Manado were orphans, so you should know what it's like not to have your parents love. Why would you do the same to your son? She yelled at her. What do you think Mido orSunady would think of you if they found out about this? Kushin's trembling intensified and she began to sob.Sunady and he had become her lifelong parent figures. Jeriah believed he had raised them well. But apparently they couldn't forget his first two children, which had caused the twins to run away. Although she may never have spent much time with Narudo and Kasumi, she still loved them. She also felt a little guilty for having spent most of her time with Minado and Cusha's other two children. Jeriah could only grunt as he looked down at his student on the ground. His blonde hair, once vibrant and spiky, seemed to be drooping slightly and losing its shine and bright color. His skin had begun to lose its tan and pale slightly. His eyes also seemed to be losing their color, acquiring a dull blue. Cushino wasn't in much better shape. She seemed to have lost some weight from being shut in and inactive. Her vibrant red hair didn't look as beautiful as usual. Her face was stre with tears from crying ever since he arrived. I couldn't just send a report about my older son's disappearing. Sensei, do you know how bad it would be if someone asked them why they ran away and they had to explain themselves? Manado said in return, he received another punch to the face for his explanation. So, you're telling me you care more about what might happen to you if someone finds out than the fact that your family is in a mess right now? Jeriah shouted. He couldn't believe what he was hearing from his student. Now, I have to go and get your children because neither of you cares enough to do it yourselves. He told them before walking toward the office door. I just want my baby back home. Jeriah, can you bring him home for me? He heard Kusha so into his hands. She continued walking toward the door when she heard Kusha ask her a question. The anger and disappointment she felt toward them prevented her from looking at either of them. When he reached the door, he opened it and stood there taking a deep breath. I'm very disappointed in both of you. And I expected better, he told them before leaving and closing the door. He needed to find his godchildren. With all the commotion that was taking place, nobody noticed the A and BU with the initials what hidden in the shadows of the room. With equal ease, he escaped from the room thanks to the couple's distraction. Iagakure. A month had passed since the night Narudo had his sister Kasumi. Since then, she seemed a little more attached to him and spent more time with him. She had slept with Kuratsuchi a couple more times, but it was mostly just to sleep. It was much easier for both of them to sleep together than when they were apart. Another thing she thankfully managed to accomplish was taking Yujito to see Han and Rashi. Everything was going wonderfully until they merged into a collective mindscape which made it easier for them to communicate. She was glad Son Goku had given them a large rock to hide behind. She still couldn't believe that sweet, kindo could be so terrifying when she was angry with Matabi. At that moment, Narudo and the others were walking through the village toward the ninja academy. Today was officially the first day they would all begin learning to be ninjas of their village. Everyone was excited for their first day of classes. Well, most of them. Kuratsuchi had received a letter from her father a week ago informing her that he wouldn't be able to take her to the academy on her first day. Something had gone wrong with his current mission, causing it to take longer than expected. She had felt disappointed ever since she read that letter because he had promised to give her a ride on her first day. They were all walking together and talking, but she wasn't participating as actively in the conversation as the others, something they noticed. I'm sure everything will be all right, Kuratsuchi Chan. These things happen and he did apologize, Kasumi told her. Kuratsuchi turned her head to look at her friend. She gave her a small smile, but then let out a sad sigh. I know he said so, but I'm still disappointed he can't come. He was really looking forward to him coming and meeting you all. He told them there will always be other times when we can see him. I'm sure he's just as disappointed as you are right now. Sammy told her. Yes, you're right. I suppose there's nothing to worry about for now. So, let's go. He told them all. After saying that, they all finally headed to the academy. They arrived after about a 10-minute walk and reached the front of the academy. It seemed that there were more people excited to start the first day as other families had already arrived. The academy was large and comprised several interconnected buildings. As is typical, all the buildings are made of stone just like the rest of the village. An added bonus is the variety of trees planted around the school, making it more visually appealing. Oni, doesn't this look a lot like the Kohaa Academy? Kasumi asked her brother. Yes, really. The only difference I see is that there are more rocks and fewer trees, he replied. With that said, they all started walking towards the school, passing by the other families. As they walked, they began to get a little annoyed with the people who were moving out of their way because of Kuratsuchi. This is starting to get annoying. I don't understand how you can stand being avoided for most of your life, Omoy said. The girl in question shrugged inside. The truth is, I don't know. I suppose if I ignored them, it wouldn't hurt so much that they avoided me, but it didn't really work, she told them. They all nodded and entered the academy. Instead of being made of rock, as they had expected, the interior of the building was made of wood. After finding the right room, they went inside and took a look around. The classroom was large and had a high ceiling, which made it easy to arrange everything. At the front of the classroom was a blackboard, in front of which was a podium for the teacher. The students desks were arranged in different rows from top to bottom so that the teacher could see them all. After a quick look around the classroom, the friends sat down next to each other. "It's still a while before class starts. Wake me up when the teacher arrives," Omoy asked them before resting his head on the desk for a quick nap. "How lazy?" Kowi said to his friends before looking at the others. "What do you think we'll do today?" he asked them. "There shouldn't be anything special today. It's orientation day, so they'll probably have everything ready to start the year, Yujito told her. With that said, everyone started talking amongst themselves for the rest of the time. About 20 minutes later, the teacher finally entered the classroom and the packed room fell silent. He approached the podium and cleared his throat before beginning to speak. "Good morning, everyone. My name is Erda Fujiawa. I will be one of the many teachers you will have during your stay here. The teacher told them, I will begin taking attendance. So raise your hand and say here when I call your name. After saying this, he began going over his list of names until he had everyone's name. All right. Now that everyone is here, let's begin the lesson. Who can tell me what chakra is? The teacher asked the class. After school, who the hell assigns homework on the first day of class? Kuratsuchi and Kowi complained without being told. The rest of their friends chuckled at the triviality of their complaint. Their homework was to write a summary of the fundamentals of chakra, which everyone else finished except for the two girls who complained about having to work. "If you hadn't been complaining all the time in class about how boring it was, you wouldn't have to worry now," Sammy told them. In response, the two girls just grumbled even more for no reason. Well, I don't feel like working right now, so I'm going for a walk. Anyone want to come with me? Koui asked. Everyone except Narudo shook their heads, saying they had other things to do. Well, I don't have anything to do, so I guess I'll go with you, Naro said. With everything settled, they all went their separate ways to do various things. Narudo and Kowi walked through the village talking about random things and looking at the different things that the various vendors were selling. I don't think I've asked you yet, but what do you think about living in IWA? Naro asked Koui. A slight smile appeared on her face before she turned her head to the side to answer him. I guess I miss home a little, but living here is much better than dealing with all the garbage we had to carry every day, she told him. They started walking in silence again until Kowi suddenly stopped and looked at a shop window. Narudo stopped and looked through the shop window as well, observing what she was looking at. It was a new katana on display in an armory. It was 63 cm long with a long white hilt with red diamonds on the sides and a square guard. He turned to Kerui, who was still staring at the katana, her eyes filled with admiration for the weapon before her. It looks so beautiful, Naro heard her say. He chuckled, but she didn't seem to hear him as if she were in her own world. Do you really like swords, Carowi? Naro asked. Kowi snapped out of her trance and turned to her friend, rubbing the back of her neck with an embarrassed expression. "He, sorry, I don't know why, but I've always wanted to have a sword and learn to fight with it," she told Narudo, looking at the sword. Narudo continued smiling at the girl's enthusiasm with the weapon before adopting a thoughtful expression. Kowi looked at him strangely before nodding and returning his gaze. I may not be the best at kjutsu since I only know it at the chunin rank. If you'd like, I can teach you how to use a sword, he said. Kowi was speechless for a moment, surprised by the request, but after a few seconds, her face lit up with excitement and hope. Really? You're really going to teach me how to use a sword? He asked, trembling with excitement. Of course, you're my friend, and if you want to learn kjutsu, I'd be happy to help you," she said before hugging him tightly. Even with his incredible resistance to damage, it was starting to hurt from how hard she was squeezing him. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you," Kowi exclaimed, jumping into his arms. He just laughed and hugged her back while everyone around them smiled and laughed at their antics. Kwi finally calmed down when she saw everyone staring at her and Narudo hugging her in public. She quickly let go of the hug, took Naruto's hand, and started running, which made even more people laugh at the children's adorable antics. Finally, he slowed his pace and tried to calm his racing heart. He turned to his friend and saw that he was still chuckling softly about what had happened. "I really hope you don't tell anyone how I behaved," he said with a piercing look. I promise I won't, but I wish you'd act like this more often. It's sweet and so refreshing, he said, and received a whack on the head. Stupid, she said, blushing before they started walking home together because it was getting late. Narudo looked down at his hand and saw that she was still holding it. He didn't feel like saying anything for two reasons. One, he didn't want to get hit on the head again. And two, it felt really good to hold her hand. Having finally arrived home, Narudo, Kasumi, and their mothers were sitting on the roof of the Eninoi house. It was a daily ritual for them as a family to sit down at least once a week and chat about various topics. Kasumi had been teaching Yujito and Kuratsuchi how to cook, and they were finishing dinner. "How was our baby's first day at the academy?" Narin, also known as Cammy, asked her two children. They simply shrugged and continued watching the people walking below them. "It was fine. It was only the first day, Kasumi replied. What made this morning go from being an exciting day to just being okay? Their other mother, Nanise the Shinagami, asked them. I guess it's just the usual, meeting everyone in class and going over Ewa's history and chakra stuff like that, Narudo replied. Nanise just nodded, not trying to make it sound amazing. Even she thought it was pretty boring. Even though there were quite a few girls looking at you, Narachon, I'm sure you'll have your own fans soon, Narin told her son. Narudo simply groaned at his mother's teasing. Although she was right, many girls stared at him throughout the class. This also caused Kasumi, Kuratsuchi, Sami, Kowi, and Yujito to become even more protective of him. None of those silly girls can have oni. I won't let them, no matter how hard they try, she told her mothers, making the two women laugh. You're very possessive of your brother, Kasumi Chan. Perhaps you should kiss him in front of them to make them back off, Na suggested with a mischievous smile. Kasumi and Narudo blushed deeply, causing the two women to laugh even harder at their children's expense. After laughing at their children, the family sat silently on the rooftop. Narudo then noticed a homeless man in the distance, ignored and receiving strange looks from everyone who passed by. He also heard two people, probably a couple, shouting at each other about something. Ka Chan, how come you and Kaen can't improve the world with a simple gesture? You're the gods of this world, so why can't you make everyone live in harmony? A world where there are no fights, everyone loves each other, no one has to lie, and everything is fair." Naro asked his mother. Kasumi wondered the same thing and looked at her mother curiously. Narin and Nanise looked into the eyes of their two children who were looking at them inquisitively and could only sigh in response. Believe me, Sochi, we've tried to solve the world's problems, but we can't do much. I'm Cammy, the goddess of life and creation. A title that should give me all the power in the world. But it doesn't, Narin told Narudo, who seemed even more confused. What my sister means, Narudo, is that she can only control certain things within the domain she was granted at creation. I am the Shinagami, the goddess of death, and this only gives me a limited range of things I can interfere with. Even if I wanted to, I can't simply wave my hand and millions would die in the blink of an eye. I can only tempt people with the idea of death and control all the souls when a person dies. Nanise tried to explain to her son. Is that why they only see you when they summon you through the shiki Fujene? You can't actively interact with anyone except when they summon you? Kasumi asked her mother. Nanise nodded. But she also grew furious at the thought of the damned seal. Yes. And since my sister is a cammy, she can only do certain things like controlling the weather, monitoring animal life, and the seasons. There are other things, too, but they can only be used for minor things like those examples. Nanise continued explaining. So, practically everything you and Kachchon have been doing all this time is just little things since life began, Narudo asked Nanise, who hummed in response. But to be honest, we haven't even had to do anything for thousands of years. The world and my job of caring for the dead have been taking care of themselves. Nanise said, "Kachan, have you never tried to do anything to help the world?" Kasumi asked her mother. Narudo and Kasumi watched as their mothers lightly squeezed each other's hands. "We already tried it once a long time ago when the world didn't even have the ability to use chakra. The world was nothing but an endless battlefield wherever you looked. Narin said, "We had decided to intervene in world affairs to build a better world for everyone. We chose a girl who desired nothing more in the world than to live in harmony. She hated the world as it was. She only sought to make a difference." Nanise continued, "She prayed to us and asked us to give her the strength to make her dream come true. We believe that with such a kind heart as hers, nothing would go wrong. We never noticed the darkness in her heart because of all the pain she suffered during the wars. Nanise said, "Who is this lady you're talking about?" Kasen Kachchan Kasumi asked her two mothers who were looking at her. Kagaya Atsitsuki Nanise and Narin said together, their voices sharp. When Narudo heard this name, he immediately felt Kurama tense up and begin to growl at the very name. "Do you know her, Kurama?" Narudo asked his partner. Just listen kitty. I'll talk to you about this later, but let's just say that my brothers and sister and I don't like it. Kurama growled before falling silent. We created the Shinju tree, a plant that had the power to grant chakra. Kagaya ate the fruit that the plant created and became the first mortal to use chakra. Narin told her children who nodded in understanding. She fulfilled her dream and became the most powerful person in the world, ending the wars single-handedly. Thanks to her feats, she was venerated as the rabbit goddess, Nanise told her children. So, what happened then? Narudo asked his mother who responded by elbowing him in the forehead. Something had to happen if the world keeps going like this. We haven't finished explaining about Sochi. Now, be quiet and let us finish, Narin told him. He nodded and rubbed the area on his head where he had been pricricked. Kagaya eventually settled among other humans and became pregnant with twins. She named them Hagarommo and Hamira. One of her sons is known in legend by a different name, the one they learned in their lessons, Nanise told them. Narudo and Kasumi began reviewing the numerous history lessons their mothers had taught them since they started training. After a minute, Kasumi seemed to guess and turned to her mother. The only person I remember from that time would be the one who taught everyone else how to use chakra. The sage of the six paths, Kasumi told her mother who affectionately stroked her head. You remembered that well, Kasumi. Kagaya was the mother of the sage of six paths. Let's<unk> get back to the story, Narin said to her daughter. As the years passed, Kagaya continued to be revered. But then men, as always, returned to fighting amongst themselves. She began to lose faith in humanity because all her efforts had been in vain. Nanise said, "The power we gave her corrupted her and drove her mad. Then she devised her own plan to create a new and perfect world through the tsukuyami infanito that he continued. If she was causing so much trouble, why didn't they take away the powers they gave her?" Kachchan Naro asked his mother. The problem was that with the Shinju tree we created using our own divine power. We placed it within the fruit it possessed. Upon eating it, she transformed into a goddess with fragments of our divine powers within her. We couldn't stop her even if we wanted to. Narin told them. Kagaya also knew we were weak after creating the tree and couldn't stop her. She mocked us and said she would create a perfect world, something we couldn't achieve, Nanise told them. She later discovered that her children could also use chakra like her and she felt jealous believing that this chakra belonged only to her. This led her to fight against her own relatives trying to reclaim the chakra her children possessed. Narin told them, "Hagurromo and Hamira fought against their mother when she tried to steal their chakra by transforming into the first Beiju, the tintailed one." Narion continued, "The twin brothers finally defeated their mother in a devastating battle. With the powers they both possessed, they trapped their mother and she became the moon. Hamura went to the moon with a group of people to care for her. Eventually, Hagurromo traveled the world teaching people how to use chakra. Finally, he had two sons who founded the Aiha and Sinju clans, and you know the rest," Nanise concluded. Then Narudo and Kasumi looked up at the moon and couldn't believe that two siblings had the power to seal their mother in the thing in space every day. Then the world became arrogant with the powers they were taught which caused hatred to return to the world. Narudo said to his mother, who nodded in response, "After that day, we promised ourselves we would never again become involved with mortals. We made a vow. If we did, we would face severe consequences. That was until we met you too and we never regretted choosing you as our children. Even if we punished ourselves for loving you, Narin told her children with a beautiful smile. And we don't regret that decision every time we see those two smile. Nanise continued. The goddesses hugged their children with all the love they could muster and they knew that Narudo and Kasumi felt it too. Ka Kaen, did you ever believe that this world could know true peace? Naruto asked them. "I'm not sure it's possible, but if someone can do it, I'm sure that you and your sister will one day be able to do something that your mothers couldn't." Narin replied. Narudo and Kasumi looked at each other and smiled. "If their mothers believe they could achieve something, they'd better try. With their new friends and possibly more in the future, it might be possible." Narin began to cough softly into her hand, which startled both Narudo and Kasumi. Are you all right, Kachchon? Kasumi asked her mother, who waved goodbye. I'm fine, Kasumi. I swallowed a little saliva and it went down the wrong hole. She replied, still coughing slightly. Nanise patted her on the back to comfort her. The twins were still a little worried, but they couldn't be blamed. It was pure intuition that they were looking after their mothers, even though they could perfectly well take care of themselves. For the next half hour, the family of four just chatted. They told jokes and the two mothers continued to tease their two sons. Then they heard someone coming up the stairs to the rooftop. The door opened and Kuratsuchi stepped onto the rooftop looking at them all with a smile. "Hey, we've finished eating and preparing dinner, so go wash the dishes," she told them, receiving nods of approval in return. Narudo and Kasumi got up and went inside to wash up dinner. Kasumi went in first, but before Narudo entered, she turned to her mothers with a questioning look. Ka Chan Kasen, what were the consequences that occurred since you interacted with Kasumi and me? He asked them. She saw the two goddesses looking at each other without waiting for her to ask. We<unk>ll talk about it later with you and Kasumi Narachan. Now go get ready for dinner. We<unk>ll be downstairs soon to join everyone. Narudo looked at his two mothers again with concern for a few more seconds before turning around and going inside. When the rooftop door closed again, naring coughed again, but a little louder than before. You need to take better care of yourself, sister. I thought you would have known that when we broke our vow. Nan scolded her sister, giving her another pat on the back. I know, sister, but I didn't think we had to be so careful. I guess I let my guard down, didn't I? Narin replied, "We can get sick now, sister. After all, we've become mortal, too. Don't let them get away." Upon hearing this, a woman with a child in her arms started running even faster than she already was. Her lungs were burning, and the ash that filled the air was of no use to her. He kept running for who knows how long before ducking into an alley to catch his breath. His whole body achd from running so much. "Kaan, I'm scared." The little girl whimpered and cried on her mother's shirt. "Everything will be all right, Yumich Chan. Just look at me and stay still. Mommy will take care of you," Haruai told her daughter. In reality, she was just as nervous as her daughter, but she had to be strong for her. "I think they went this way," shouted a man's voice. With her breath caught in her throat, she hid deeper into the shadows of the alley to blend in. She watched all the men run past where she and her son were hiding. When all the men had finished passing by, Haruai finally let out the breath she had been holding. She couldn't understand how everything had gone from happiness to ruin in such a short time. She and her family had saved enough money to take a short vacation, and it had been wonderful. They had gone to a pretty quiet town to attend the festival that was taking place at the time. They had enjoyed themselves for 2 days, but that's where everything changed. She and her husband woke up in the middle of the night to screams and a village in flames. They grabbed their daughter, Yumi, and began to flee from the bandits who were killing everyone in their path. Her husband, Tamaki, had distracted a group of bandits who had started chasing them some time ago, and she has not seen her husband since. Slowly and carefully, she peaked around the corner of the alley to see if anyone was coming. After confirming the area was clear, Haruai ran off again with her daughter in her arms. After running for a couple of minutes, Haruai came across another group of men coming down the street. With nowhere else to go, she quickly hid behind a nearby trash can and hugged her daughter tightly. She could see the stains on the swords and spears they were carrying. There were easily about 10 of them coming down the street. She watched silently as the men approached, her breathing becoming more labored with each passing second. If the situation was serious enough, those who had been chasing her earlier returned to the corner to join the other men. His heart was pounding like a jackhammer because he had nowhere to go. "Hey, did you find that woman and the child?" "They got away from us," said one of the men. "We're still looking for her. Come on, she must be around here somewhere." Heruai felt a weight lift from her heart upon learning that her husband was still alive. The group of bandits began to move away from where she and Yumi were hiding. She slowly and cautiously made her way away from the men toward a nearby alley. Just as he was about to escape the bandits, he didn't see the trash can around the corner. He bumped into it and his blood ran cold as he watched the metal container begin to fall to the ground. Shock. What was that? one of the men asked, turning toward the sound. Haruai ran into the alley as fast as she could, and her heart sank when she saw it was a dead end. I think it came from here. She could hear the men slowly approaching and began to tremble. Her daughter must have sensed something was wrong because she too began to tremble. Slowly, tears began to stream down her face. "This is the end," she thought. Haruai could only hold her daughter close, waiting for death. Hey, did anyone else see that? One of the bandits asked. Haruai looked where the man was pointing, but she didn't know what he was looking at. All the men were staring into a completely dark alley next to which she was hiding. He seemed scared, and she didn't know why. What the hell are you talking about? There's nothing there, you idiot. One of the men replied, "No, I swear I thought I saw and heard something from there. It was enormous and staring right at all of us," he replied. All the men looked at him with irritation. "Dude, there's nothing in that alley. You're just afraid of the dark," another person said. "Everyone started laughing at the man." "There was something in there," he shouted at them, which made the men laugh even more. "Look, I'm just going to check it so you don't wet yourself," the man said. Then he started walking toward the alley, each step mocking him. As Haruai watched the bandit walk slowly toward the alley, she felt a strong feeling of forboding. Kachchan, what's wrong? Yumi asked her mother. I don't know, darling. Just keep your eyes closed. I won't let anything hurt you. Haruai whispered to her daughter. The bandit continued to approach the dark alley, and she hugged her daughter tighter. The man went completely into the dark alley until she could no longer see him. "Is there something there?" One of the men shouted from the darkness, chuckling slightly. "I was just being a jerk. There's nothing to it." The man in the alley let out a blood curdling scream. Haruai could only tremble with fear at the chilling scream. The other men also began to back away from the alley, frightened by the scream they had heard. One of the bandits took a couple of steps forward and squinted as if he could see into the dark alley. Hey Ranky, are you okay in there?" he called timidly toward the alley. He began to back away when he saw something emerge from the darkness and raised his stained sword toward it. Then he began to lower it when he saw it was Ranky coming out of the alley. "Haha, that's great. You really got us all thinking about that." "Hey, are you all right?" the man asked, concerned. Haruai then began to observe the man named Ranki, who was coming out of the alley, more closely to see what was wrong with him. Ranki looked as if he had seen death as he came out. Blood was dripping from his mouth, and his eyes were wide open, as if he had seen death itself. Suddenly, Ranky fell and to his horror, he saw something sticking out of his back. They reminded him of crystals, a beautiful blend of purple and crimson. "What the hell is that?" the bandit asked, staring at what was protruding from his friend's back. "To hell with that. What the hell is that?" one of the men shouted, frightened. Haruai felt her heart clench in her stomach as she saw what was coming out of the alley. It was a single intense red eye that stared intently at everyone before it. Slowly, it began to emerge from the darkness, and its appearance would be etched in his mind for the rest of his life. It was a monstrous creature, large and white, with large spikes protruding from its back, the same ones that protruded from the dead bandits. It also had four large blades that moved independently like additional appendages. It had large bird-like legs, and its head had four horns with a single black and red eye in the center. Then the monster began to open its mouth, and she could see the sharp teeth lining its wounded mouth as if it had been killing people before getting there. "To hell with this!" shouted one of the bandits before fleeing from the beast. The other men followed suit, dropping their weapons before running away as well. The monster that was watching seemed delighted that everyone was running away from him and formed a demented smile on his face. "Haha!" shouted the monster in a demonic voice, chasing the men who were trying to escape. It moved toward the nearest group of men, and with its sharp appendages, cleanly sliced them in half, staining the path. The shards on its back enlarged in a matter of seconds, then shot out, hitting other men. Their bodies soon fell to the ground with the rest of the corpses. A group of men huddled in a corner near their hiding place trembled with fear, knowing they were powerless. Haruai thought she saw the wall behind them move. Upon closer inspection, she realized it wasn't the wall moving, but something within it. He saw that the bandit trailing the group hadn't noticed the thing behind them. When the man got close enough to the object on the wall, he could only see a humanoid creature detach itself from it. It was the same color as the wall behind it, as if it had been camouflaged there all along. The thing she was watching began to change color until it was completely black. It was undoubtedly a person. But what puzzled her was that its entire body seemed to be covered in some kind of living armor. Then, when the bandit approached, something seemed to sprout from its lower back. Are they centipedes? Haruai wondered. On the back of what she could only guess was another monster or four centipede-like tentacles. The appendages grabbed the nearest bandit and began to coil around him like a snake. What the hell is this? Help me, cried the bandit, terrified of the thing that held him. His cries were no longer audible as the remains completely covered his body. The bandit, now dead, fell to the ground as the tentacles freed him, turning him into a puddle. The monster then looked at the other men who were backing away in fear. Its body began to tremble as if it were laughing. Soon it began to laugh, and as it did, its voice was as demonic as the other monsters. Haha! The monster seemed to laugh at the death it had caused. When it finally calmed down and looked at the other men who had begun to flee, it launched its four centipede- like tentacles at them. They all hit their target and ended up impaling a bandit on each of the four tentacles. I could see the horror on the men's faces as they stared at the object protruding from their stomachs. The monster seemed to laugh again, but this time it did speak. People dying. He he people crying. Haha. It's all so freaking hysterical. He shouted into the air and threw off the bandits he was carrying on his limbs. Then he began to chase the last of the bandits. The appendages on the monster's back seemed to have a mind of their own as they slaughtered everyone. She saw a bandit who tried to attack the monster being swatted away like a fly. As his body slammed against the wall, Haruai could hear the horrifying crack of his spine before he fell dead to the ground. She could only watch as the rest of the men began to die in the blink of an eye. Bodies ripped in half by tentacles, slammed against the ground until they were a bloody mess. Haruai wanted to vomit at the sight of the grotesque ways the men died and the stench was beginning to make her cry. "Leave me alone," he heard a bandit shout. He looked toward the sound and saw that it was the last one. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, "Didn't you find it funny?" "What's wrong?" the monster asked the man, walking towards the man who was crawling away. When the monster got close enough to the man, it lifted him with one of its tentacles around his waist and raised him into the air. "I don't want to die. Let me go!" the bandit shouted at the creature. In response, he seemed to laugh to himself and ignore the man in front of him. The bandit continued shouting at the monster until another tentacle encircled his head. She could hear his muffled screams of fear for a couple of seconds before the appendage tightened around his head, causing it to be swiftly destroyed. The dead man fell to the ground, no longer an attraction for the beast. All was silent except for the sound of burning things, nor did he hear the other men the monster had been chasing earlier. Haruai then looked at her daughter and saw that Yumi had covered her ears to block out the sound. When she looked back at the monster, it seemed to sniff the air as if searching for something. She heard footsteps approaching and saw the white monster, which reminded her of a bird, turned the corner. The humanoid monster took a quick look like a bird and sniffed again. Its limbs began to retract into its back as if it knew the larger monster wouldn't harm it. Soon, the larger monster joined the smaller one in sniffing the air and continued to survey the area. She continued watching the monsters search for a couple of minutes until they both suddenly stopped. She was confused until they slowly began to look for where she was hiding. Haruai froze, stiff as a board, as the larger monsters I stared intently at her. Before her very eyes, Haruai watched as the two monsters began to transform again. The armor surrounding the smaller one began to reassemble itself, and she could see two of the same black and red eyes that the oneeyed monster possessed. The large white one began to shrink. It grew smaller and smaller as she watched. When the two monsters stopped transforming, Haruai was surprised to find two children staring at her, a boy and a girl of the same age. Both had snow white hair and wore similar masks. Even with the masks on, Haruai could still see their dark red eyes peering at her through the slits. Haruai didn't know why, but she stepped out from behind them and stood in full view of the two children. Twins if she imagined. The twins stared at her for a couple of seconds before tilting their heads in confusion as if they expected her to run away. "Who are you?" Kachchon Yumi asked her mother, looking at the two people in front of her. Yumi had taken her hands away from her ears when she could no longer hear anything, and her mother was staring at them intently. "They're the ones who made all the bad people leave," Yumi Chan Haruai replied, looking at her daughter. When she looked up again, the two children seemed to be picking up some of the bandits bodies from the ground. When the two of them finished collecting the bodies, they took out a parchment and made all the bodies disappear into it. As they stood up, they both turned their heads in one direction as if they had heard something. A couple of seconds passed before Haruai began to hear someone getting closer and closer. "Harui, Yumi!" Someone called out. Haruai's heart leapt when she realized it was her husband calling her from across the street. She glanced at the two children who seemed about to leave before he arrived. "Excuse me," Harui called to the twins. They looked up from the street and back at her. I wanted to thank you for looking after me and my baby, she said. They looked at her and both nodded. Thank you, masked once, their daughter called out. Through the slits of the mask, she could barely see how their red and black eyes transformed into a softer sky, blue and violet. Huruai, her husband kept calling her, searching for her. She glanced at them one last time before running down the street where her husband was waiting. Tamaki Haruai shouted to her husband. When he reached them, the man hugged them tightly. His clothes were torn in several places and he had small cuts on his body. Are you okay? Are you hurt? He asked them. As her husband showered their daughter with praise, Haruai turned to look at the spot where the twins had been standing, only to see an empty street. Her husband's concern pulled her from her thoughts. "I'm fine, Tamaki, but I think we should leave the village. There are things I'd like to forget tonight, she told him. He nodded, also eager to leave. Haruai glanced quickly at the place where the two children used to be and smiled. Thank you for protecting me and my baby, Haruai thought to herself. If she had looked more closely, she would have seen the twins watching from the shadows of a building. I think it's time we went home, Kasumi Chan. There's nothing more we can do here, the boy told his sister. Of the entire village, only that family of three survived. I know you'd like peace, Oni Chan, but the world doesn't seem to want it, Kasumi told her brother. You'll never know, Kasumi. Only time will tell if men can live in peace. Everyone's perspective can change, and mine might change with time, Narudo told his sister, who nodded. With that, the twins began their journey home in Kanahagakur. A month had passed since Minado and Cusha's confrontation with Jeriah. They had tried to message Jeriah numerous times, hoping he would reply, but he never responded. He was probably still angry with them for what they had done to Narudo and Kasumi, and they couldn't blame him. When their parents returned home that day, Naruko and Narumi sensed that something was wrong with them. And if they could guess what the problem was, it involved their older siblings. They knew their godfather, Jeriah, had come to town to talk to them. But the conversation didn't seem to have gone well. Their father had come home with a bruise on his cheek and their mother seemed to have done nothing but cry all day. So once again, they had to take care of themselves for a week before Manado and Kusha seemed to calm down a bit after their talk with their godfather. We can now find the Name's family standing in their personal training grounds behind their estate. Narumi and Naruko were excited for today. They were going to begin learning to control the Q.B's 's chakra. I know you're both excited, but you must be very careful. The QB's chakra is extremely potent and can easily affect you with the amount of hatred and thirst for battle it contains. Kusha told her children, "We know, Ka Chan. You've been telling us this for the past week." Naruko complained to her mother. "And I'll keep telling you two to stop complaining." She scolded her daughter. Naruko just moaned and nodded at the same time. She didn't feel like going against her mother's anger. "Now your mother will teach you how to draw chakra. I'll just be watching from the sidelines to make sure nothing goes wrong," Manato told them. Although he believed nothing would go wrong, it was always better to be safe than sorry. "Now I want you both to sit on the floor in a meditative position," Kushina instructed her daughter. The twins obeyed and assumed the awkward posture. They looked at their mother who sat down opposite them awaiting the next step. Now close your eyes, visualize and feel the chakra flowing through your bodies. Once you do that, I want you to focus more on the seal on your stomach," he told them. The twins obeyed and visualized the chakra. After a while, Naruko and Narumi concentrated on the seal and infused it with chakra. This made the seal containing the Beiju visible to everyone. Since the QB's chakra is another living being, they will have to gradually integrate it into their own. It will be madness because of the amount of hatred the beast will inject into them to prevent them from using their chakra. Kusha told her children. Narumi and Naruko nodded and refocused on their stomachs. They immediately tensed as they felt the chakra rushing like a raging river behind the seal. They slowly drew it out and integrated the monster's power into their systems. Narumi could only gasp as she felt the power coursing through her body. She felt her chakra, once blue, transform into a tainted red chakra emanating from the seal. Then she felt it. Hatred and fear overwhelmed her and her body began to tremble. He felt helpless as the horrible sensation persisted. Although he could feel fine, Naruko wasn't getting any better. She was trembling just as violently. The twins looked at their mother who was smiling at them, trying to reassure them. Okay, I know it's scary, but everything will be all right. Tusan and I will be here to help. Kusha comforted her children, taking their hands. It certainly helped them a lot because they soon stopped trembling. They felt their chakra begin to calm down, though they could still perceive the emotions, albeit not as intensely as before. Kusha and Minado could only smile triumphantly as they watched their two daughters calm down. The twins began to draw even more chakra and gain even more power from the sensation. Cusha and Manado continued to watch intently as they saw their daughters eyes change from their original color to the red slanted eyes of the Q.B. Naruko and Narumi felt their eyes change and from their parents' expressions, they noticed the change as well. The chakra returned and they looked down as a thin red layer began to form on the surface of their skin. After a few seconds, a red layer completely covered them, giving them strength with every second they had it. "I'm so proud of you, too. It took me longer to learn how to take off the cloak. I wish I could hug you, but I'd burn myself if I tried." Cusha said effusively to her children, a wide smile on her face. Narumi and Naruko blushed slightly at the attention they were receiving, but it wasn't noticeable because they were covered in chakra. They both looked at Manado and saw that like their mother, he was smiling at them proudly. Naruko then began to get excited by the praise she was receiving. Since she and Narumi had learned to use the Q.B's chakra so quickly, they were sure to find their missing older siblings. Narumi thought the same as her sister, she wanted to find them and reunite her family. And why do you think they would want to come back? A demonic voice pulled them from their thoughts. Suddenly, they both felt unbearable pain. They collapsed to the ground when the pain made it impossible for them to stand. Naruko, Natsumi, what's wrong? Kusha cried to her two children who were writhing in pain on the floor. Naruko and Narumi seemed to want to scream, but the pain was too intense. Kusha began to breathe in short, ragged breaths, unable to do anything for her suffering babies. Kusha then looked at her husband who was just as shocked as she was. Manado, help them. Cusha shouted to her husband who didn't move. Manado tried to move when his wife called to him, but his body was in shock from what he saw, leaving him inert. Move it. Damn it, he shouted at himself, but his body did not obey, and he could only watch his children suffer. As Naruko and Narumi lay on the ground, they too began to feel the same emotions as before. Fear, the thirst for battle, and anger flooded them like a raging river. If they were never loved before, they will never be loved. He continued shouting at them. "You're lying. Nissan and Nan will return." Narumi shouted back, the pain still coursing through her veins. The pain seemed to worsen with her reaction. Naruko wasn't doing any better than her sister at that moment. Her vision was blurred by the pain, and she looked at her parents, hoping they would stop it. "Look at your parents. They don't even try to help you. Maybe they don't care about you, just like your older siblings." The voice continued speaking to them. The twins on the ground could only watch their father, motionless, not even trying to help them. Their eyes began to reen with anger as they stared at their father, making no effort to help them. Their bodies began to move on their own, and the chakras surrounding them grew denser. Soon, a single tail began to form at their coxix, and the whisker-like markings on their cheeks deepened. Naruko and Narumi looked at their mother simultaneously, and the memory of her slapping their siblings resurfaced. "You made on and leave." Narumi shouted angrily at her mother, startling her. Kusha panicked even more when she saw her two daughters get down on all fours, their legs tense as if preparing to pounce on their prey. Kusha saw the hatred in her daughter's eyes as they both stared at her, which paralyzed her, for they shared the same rage as they attacked Narudo and Kasumi. Her body didn't move as her children leaped toward her and only managed to fall to the ground, causing Naruko and Natsumi to fly past her as they missed their target. Minato. Cusha cried again, crawling backward across the ground away from the twins who were slowly approaching. Minato finally snapped out of his trance when he saw his daughter attacking his wife. He quickly pulled one of his signature canai from his pocket and threw it at his daughters. Herratation. That's it. Manado said as the canai approached his daughters and teleported away. Just as the twins were about to attack their mother again, Manado appeared, gathered chakra in his hands, and slammed it into his daughter's stomach. "Seal!" she screamed, turning the seal on Naruko and Narumi's stomachs and causing marks to begin appearing all over their bodies. "Ah, hh!" The twins screamed simultaneously in pain, the chakras surrounding their bodies immediately beginning to retract into their skin and the seal on their stomachs. The intense emotions they both felt began to fade as the chakra disappeared. Their bodies began to collapse to the ground, and the last thing they saw before fainting was a demonic black and red eyes staring at them with hatred. When Minato saw that his daughters were unconscious, he ran to his wife who was on the ground looking at Naruko and Narumi. He quickly ran to Cusha and hugged her, and she immediately hugged him back with all her might. As Cusha and Minato sat on the ground, they could only wonder what had gone wrong. "None of this should have happened, and they couldn't understand how everything had escalated so quickly." "What happened to my babies," Manado, none of this should have happened, Kusha sobbed into her husband's chest? Manato could only shake his head in astonishment, not knowing the answer to his question. "I don't know, Kusha. But we'll find out what happened and make sure it doesn't happen again. We've already lost two children and we don't need to lose the last two. So, let's take them to a hospital and make sure they're all right. Minato told his wife, who nodded. He released his wife and went to where his two children lay unconscious on the floor. He picked them up, carried one in each arm, and approached his wife. Kusha could only weep as she rubbed her baby's faces before embracing her husband. With his wife clinging to Minato, he teleported his entire family to the hospital to care for them. He and his wife would have to investigate what had gone wrong so that it wouldn't happen again to Naruko and Narumi. They weren't going to lose their last two children in Iwagakure. So they finally tried and as expected they couldn't control it, Narudo thought. He lifted his head from his desk and looked around. They were in the middle of class and the teacher was giving the lesson. It's dangerous to manipulate my chakra, even if I'm not actively controlling it. Without the soul you possess, the namices will never be able to control it. Kurama told him mentally. He had seen brief glimpses of what was happening with Kurama's help. He was surprised by how Chakra influenced Naruko and Narumi's emotions. Since chakra was most effective against things like fear, anger, and the thirst for battle, it was precisely those emotions that it targeted, causing the twins to lose control. The chakra sensed Narumi's fear of not being able to find Narudo and Kasumi. It then enraged the twins by reminding them how Kusha had beaten them, leading them to attack their mother in a fit of rage. Narudo had to acknowledge Kurama's chakra as the reason for the extremely chaotic situation. Although the chakra was soulless, it still caused problems for the family that Narudo and his sister detested. He became enraged upon seeing fragments of Naruko and Narumi's memories. The family that didn't want him or his sister wanted them back. Well, that's going to be a shame for them. Narudo and Kasumi weren't going to want a family that never gave them any attention. They didn't truly care about them. They only felt sorry for themselves because they finally had the courage to leave with their new mothers. Kasumi who was napping beside him must have sensed his discomfort because she looked at him with concern. Are you all right on Chan? She asked. Narudo simply smiled at her and began rubbing her back. Something happened in Kenoha recently. We can talk about it later. Naro said. She stared at him for a second before nodding and yawning. She rested her head back on the desk and fell asleep with Narudo still rubbing her back. During the month they had been attending, Kasumi and he hadn't learned anything new yet, but that was to be expected. The only thing they had really begun to learn was the history of the village where they lived. He glanced to his left and saw Yujito and Sami taking notes while the teacher was speaking. He was pretty sure they knew quite a bit about the material, but they still wrote it down. When he looked to his left, he could only chuckle, amused. Kuratsuchi and Kowi looked like they were about to die of boredom. The two girls must have heard them laughing, amused, and both glared at him. He simply smiled, which made them both complain and stare at the teacher. Narudo looked for Omoy and saw that he was simply sleeping at the back of the classroom. He simply sighed in annoyance with his friend. His laziness reminded him of the Nar clan members. He turned his gaze back to the teacher who was writing something on the board. Bored. Narudo looked at the clock on the wall and sighed in relief when he saw that there were only 30 minutes of class left. Although he could have had a shadow clone go to class for him, his mothers would be furious. All he could do was close his eyes and think about the conversation he and Kurama had after their mother's conversation. It certainly surprised him that Kurama was created by the sage of six paths mother. After learning from Kurama about his father, he also discovered that he too fought for peace. Clearly, he wouldn't succeed if the world continued fighting amongst itself. Narudo snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the school bell ring, signaling the end of the school day. He smiled, relieved to have another day off. He woke his sister and they all left the academy at the same time as usual. "What a boring day, right?" Omoy said to everyone as he left. Kowi just made a mark on his forehead before hitting him on the head, causing him to clutch the bump in pain. "You weren't even awake most of the time, you idiot!" he yelled at him. Everyone laughed, though Sami glared at Oh my Oh my You have no right to complain. You should pay attention and take notes while Fujiaakawa sensei speaks. That also applies to you too, Kuratsuchi and Kowi. You two are just as bad as Omoy. Sami began to scold the three of them. Narudo and Kasumi chuckled at their friend's antics and received a withering glare from the two girls. "Well, they don't do anything, Sami. How come they don't get into trouble?" they asked their strict friend, who silenced them with the quick, icy stare for which she was famous. "It seems you've forgotten that Narudo and Kasumi already know everything and don't need to know this," Yujito told them. The two continued to glare at the twins in annoyance. who in response whistled with a golden halo above their heads. The two girls simply snorted defeated. Yujito and Samwi saw the mocking smiles on the twins faces as they basked in their victory. You two aren't blameless either. Yujito said, "Even though you know this, you should pay attention. Don't make me tell your mothers you fell asleep in class even if you weren't caught." They both pald. Their friends knew how scared Narin and Nanise were of them and often teased them about it. Immediately, they both clung to Sami and Yujito's legs, crying crocodile tears. Please don't tell Samu Chan/ Yujito Chan. We don't want to suffer Kasan and Ka Chan<unk>s wrath. They both cried on their friend's laps. Okay, but let go of our legs. We're in public and everyone's staring. Yujito shouted, blushing. Samwei couldn't stand it anymore with Narudo tied to her leg and everyone watching them with amusement. The twins immediately untied them and returned to their cheerful demeanor. As everyone left the academy, Narudo and Kasumi noticed a new scent in the air, one that hadn't been present for the past month. The group of friends stopped when they saw the twins acting strangely. "Are you all right?" Kowi asked them as they continued searching for the scent. They found it immediately after a couple of seconds and looked toward a man who was near the academy gates. That man over there smells like Kuratsuchi Chan. Kasumi told her friends. They all looked in the direction she was pointing. The next thing they knew, Kuratsuchi was running toward the man with a huge grin. Tusan, she called to the man who smiled in return. She stopped in front of him and hugged him. The man knelt and hugged her back. He seemed to be talking to her as she buried her face in his chest. They watched as the two hugged for a while longer before Kuratsuchi let go and took his hand. Then he proceeded to drag his father toward Narudo and the gang. Tusan look. These are all my friends I told you about. Karatsuchi said to her father. The man simply hummed in response and looked at them critically as if checking if they were a threat to his daughter. He watched them for a while before nodding to himself, saying they were fine. Hello, my name is Kitsuchi, Kuratsuchi's father. He told them all with a slight smile. Kitsuchi is a very tall and muscular man. He has dark eyes and short dark gray hair as well as a beard and a prominent nose. He wears the standard Aagure Shinobi uniform with a left sleeve and right lapel. He also wears the Alliance's headband style forehead protector and bandages around his right arm. Hello, Kitsuchi San. My name is Narudo. I'm glad to finally meet you. Kurochan likes to talk about you from time to time. Narudo introduced himself. Kitsuchi raised an eyebrow at the nickname he had given her daughter. She glanced at her daughter and chuckled as she looked away from Narudo. Her face flushed. They all introduced themselves one by one and began walking home. Well, Kuratsuchi, it seems you made a lot of friends during my absence, didn't you? Kitsuchi asked her daughter, who nodded. The rest of the day, the group of friends met the man, with whom they seemed to get along very well. It was almost dinnertime when Kasumi's stomach growled and she rubbed it. Everyone chuckled softly, but Kasumi didn't seem very happy. She turned to her brother, who noticed her expression and stopped to look at her. Oni, I'm hungry, he said. After saying that, everyone's stomach started growling too. It seems we're all hungry. Why don't I treat you to dinner? Kitsuchi said, and they all immediately agreed. Kasumi continued watching her brother as they all headed to a restaurant. Come on, Kasumi Chan. If you're hungry, let's go get something to eat. Narudo said to his sister, who seemed annoyed. She glanced back and saw everyone else waiting for them. Oni, I said, "I have hunger." That's right, Kasumi repeated, but with more emphasis. Narudo was confused for a second before his eyes lit up in understanding. Kasumi didn't want ordinary food. She wanted the food they both had to eat. Are you coming? Kuratsuchi called after them. Narudo glanced over his shoulder and saw everyone staring at him and Kasumi with questioning expressions. He looked at his sister once more and realized they needed to eat. Sorry guys, Kasumi and I have something to do right now. See you later tonight. Naruto called out. Everyone sighed in disappointment that they both had something to do. Kitsuchi noticed and could only raise an eyebrow in curiosity. Does this happen often? He asked the other children. They just looked at him and nodded. "Yes, they say they both have to do something, but they never tell us what. They always get a little nervous, so we stopped asking them." Yujito said, "We've tried to track them, but they always disappear before we can catch them. Whatever they are, they don't want us to find out." Kuratsuchi said. Kitsuchi could only nod and squint slightly as she watched Narudo and Kasumi walk away. She kept her chakra focused on them for a moment, and as they turned the corner, Narudo and Kasumi's chakra signatures vanished. She had an expression of astonishment on her face. Kuratsuchi, do Narudo and Kasumi know how to use chakra? Kitsuchi asked her daughter who nodded. Yes, I thought I already told you. Kuratsuchi asked his father. I should have overlooked it. Now come on, let's have dinner. Kitsuchi told everyone. Even as he listened to the children talking to him, his mind kept wandering, thinking about what Narudo and Kasumi were doing and that they didn't want anyone else to know. Later that night, Yujito could only grown in pain as she felt another blow to her skin. Once again, a group of drunks was beating her up. It had always been like this since they sealed her with the two tales. Everyone hated her, believing her to be the Beiju herself and ostracized her for it. Her blue eyes, half-cloed, were filled with tears. After a couple of minutes, the pain subsided. The people seemed to have finished venting their anger on her, for her footsteps grew fainter and fainter. She crawled along the nearest wall of the alley where she stood and closed her eyes. Shortly after, Yujito heard and smelled someone else approaching down the alley. As they drew closer, the strong smell of liquor began to sting her nose. She knew it was someone else who was going to hurt her. She tried to get up, but ended up collapsing to the ground in pain. She looked at her ankle and saw that it was swollen and didn't look good at all. She turned around when she heard footsteps beside her. She received a kick to the stomach that sent her crashing against the wall. "You took my brother," a man's voice said. He slowly raised his head and saw that it was a man holding a cany. "Kitten, you have to leave now." Yujito heard Matatabi scream in her head. She tried to run away again, but the man on the wall kicked her again. Yujito could only watch as the man approached her. The canai getting closer and closer. I'm going to kill you just like you killed my brother. You demon, the man said. Go away. I didn't do anything. Yujito screamed in fear. He seemed to relish her terrified please as he raised the knife to kill her. "Stop!" Yujito shouted at the man. She closed her eyes and covered them with her hands for protection. She waited for the pain to come, but it never did. She felt something wet and warm running down her arms. She opened her eyes slightly and saw that it was blood running down her arms. Eugto looked up and to her horror saw that it wasn't hers. The man who was going to kill her stared at her, eyes wide, clutching his throat. Blood trickled slowly from between his fingers as he watched her. Uito looked at his hands and saw that his nails had grown incredibly long and become as sharp as knives. His fingernails were stained and he quickly put two and two together. The man stood motionless, clutching the blood that trickled from his throat as he continued to stare at Yujito. Yujito was in shock as she watched the man she had murdered die right in front of her. She couldn't move because of the shock, and even as a pool of blood began to form around the man, she remained rigid as a statue, staring at the person she had just killed. Soon, the man's grip began to loosen around her neck as he swayed uselessly beside her. Yujito watched as his once bright eyes became empty. She continued to observe the body before her until it moved a little later. Very similar to what any person of his age would do when they saw a corpse. Ah, Yujito woke up and jumped out of bed. She was breathing heavily as she remembered that night, the night she killed the drunkard, which forced her to leave the village. "Are you okay, kitten?" "What's wrong?" Matatabi asked, worried. Yujito could only cover her face with her hands as she calmed her breathing. "It was Matatabi again that night," Yujito whispered to the cat in her head. "That wasn't your fault, kitten. If you hadn't killed that man, he would have killed you." Matatabi told him, "I know, but that doesn't mean it doesn't bother me," she told her companion. She heard Matatabi sigh and couldn't blame her. She'd had this dream before and had talked about it with her before. Yujito was tired, but she knew that even if she tried to go back to sleep, she couldn't, so she got out of bed, grabbed her slippers, and headed to the rooftop. She was as quiet as possible because everyone was asleep. After Narudo and Kasumi left to attend to their chores, she and the others had dinner. It was pleasant and she was able to interact more with Kuratsuchi's father. After dinner, everyone went home, but Kuratsuchi accompanied her father to his house. It seemed that Kuratsuchi and Kitsuchi had another home. The girl only stayed with Anokei when her father went on missions, but when he left, she returned to live with the old man. After walking a short distance, she finally reached the roof of the house. She opened the door and was instantly enveloped in a breath of fresh air. She looked around and saw that someone else was on the roof with her. She approached and saw that it was Narudo. "Hey, what are you doing here? It's pretty late." Narudo asked when she got close enough to hear him. "I could ask you the same thing," Yujito asked playfully. Narudo simply smiled at her and gazed up at the starry sky. She sat beside him and they remained silent for a while before he spoke to her again. "What's wrong? And don't say it's nothing. I know something's bothering you," he said, his tone concerned. She could only sigh as he continued to look at her with a questioning expression. "I had a nightmare. It was the night I killed that drunk who attacked me," she told him. Turning her head, she saw him looking at her with concern. "It's not your fault, Yujito Chan." He tried to tell her. She just shook her head. It was my fault. I killed him. And I'll always remember the look of horror on his face as he died. He cried as tears streamed down his face. Yu felt him pull her close. She wept harder against his chest as he continued to hold her even as his shirt began to soak. They remained in that position for a while longer as Yujito cried. Soon she stopped, dried her eyes, and laughed softly. I'm sorry. I got your shirt wet from crying. she said, tears still in her eyes. She felt him gently cup her face and turn it toward him. She raised her hands and began to wipe away the tears that kept falling. "Pretty girls should cry like you, Yujito. If you hadn't protected yourself, you would have died. You have nothing to blame yourself for. Understand?" Naro told her. She only smiled slightly at his comforting words. Yujito nodded before resting her head on his shoulder. "Naro?" Yujito asked in a low voice. Then he turned his head slightly toward her, indicating that she should continue. How do you get rid of them? I mean, the memories of the people you killed, Yugto asked. Narudo could only sigh and rest his head on hers. You never really forget the people you kill. If I think hard enough, I can start to see the faces of everyone I've killed. The best advice I can give you is not to dwell on it. It was in the past, and some things just need to fade with time. he told her. Yujito continued listening to him as he spoke and nodded in response. They sat there for a while before Yujito began to wonder why she was on the roof. "Why were you up here on the roof?" she asked him. He shrugged with a slight smile. "We all like to simply look at the moon from time to time. I came up today because it was a full moon," he told her. Yujito then looked at the moon and saw that it was indeed a full moon. She felt him staring at her for a while until he began to giggle softly. that you look like a cat staring at the moon and it was adorable," he told her, which prompted her to playfully hit him on the arm. He laughed a little more, which made her slightly flustered. To her relief, he stopped soon, but he was staring intently into her eyes, which made her blush. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Yujito asked, and he smiled back. "Has anyone ever told you how beautiful your eyes are?" he asked. Yujito's blush deepened when she heard him say that. No, I've never really liked my eyes. They've always been a mark on me as a ginuriki. She said honestly. Well, in my opinion, anyone who thinks your eyes aren't cool is stupid, Narudo said. The next thing he felt was Yujito's kiss on his cheek. He blushed as he felt Yujito laugh at him. Yujito felt butterflies in her stomach when she heard him compliment her. The next thing she knew, she was kissing him on the cheek, her heart racing. "Thank you. You're the first person who's ever said, "My eyes were beautiful," she told him. She rested her head on his shoulder, and sleep began to overcome her. Her eyes started to close and her body began to mold to Naruto's. Just before falling asleep, Yujito's heart skipped a beat when she felt Narudo kiss her head. "You're welcome, Yujito Chan, and good night," he said. Yujito fell asleep with a smile on her face. Narudo watched Yujito for a while as she slept on his shoulder. Like the other girls, the feeling of her heart pounding began to return and she felt strange. After giving up once again, Narudo picked Yujito up in his arms. The blonde girl seemed to enjoy it, sighing with relief at the warmth emanating from her body. Slowly, she led Yujito to her room, silently traversing the house. Upon arriving, she carefully opened the door and approached the bed. He put her down and was about to leave when she grabbed his hand. "Stay, please," Yujito pleaded, her eyes barely opened as she gazed at him. Narudo smiled and nodded before getting into bed. Once he was lying down beside her, Yujito rested her head on his chest. She quickly fell asleep thanks to the warmth emanating from Naruto's body. Narudo would have sworn he heard her purse softly, but he didn't notice. His eyes grew heavy like Yujito's had been earlier. He simply pulled her closer, rested his head on her ears, and slept through the
