Handmade Plant Paper #shorts

This is how Yunlong paper is made with tea leaves and safflower. At first, it just looks like a bucket of cloudy water with plants floating inside, but that liquid is actually paper pulp mixed with the leaves and petals. Then, the maker scoops it up with a wooden frame and slowly pours part of it back out until only a thin layer is left behind. As the water drains away, the pulp spreads evenly, and the tea leaves and safflower stay trapped inside the sheet. Once it dries, it turns into handmade paper with real plants locked into it forever.
