And they have recently released the 33rd edition of the annual publication that is Energy Statistics India 2026. This report provides a comprehensive data set on India's energy reserves, capacity, production, and consumption, and import-export of all the energy commodities including coal, lignite, petroleum, natural gas, renewable energy, and various other data. Right? So what are these? This is This is the 33rd edition released by NSO. It is the Energy Statistics of India. We are seeing a rapid growth in the renewable energy potential where 47 lakh or we can say 47 lakh 4,043 MW have been recently the total data. Then out of which the solar energy is 33 lakh 43,000 MW, wind power is 11 lakh 63 MW, large hydro is 1 lakh 33,000 MW. And also we are seeing that the credit flow, that is the amount of money that has been coming towards the renewable energy sector and renewable energy projects has increased almost six times compared to 2021. Moving on. This MeitY, that is your Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. They have recently approved 29 proposals under the fourth tranche of the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme with a projected investment of 7,104 crore rupees and projected production of 84,515 crore rupees to generate 14,246 direct employment opportunities. Students, we have discussed this for a very long time also that why manufacturing is important for India. First reason is to reduce the import dependence on imports. PM e-drive subsidy extended till 31st of July 2026 for electric two-wheelers, right? Government is providing subsidy to the two-wheelers electric vehicles so that they can promote the adoption of electric vehicles or specifically two-wheeler electric vehicles in India. Here the additional four months have been provided for the subsidy. Earlier it was till 31st of March 2026. Now it has been extended till 31st of July. What is this PM e-drive scheme? This is your Prime Minister's Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement, right? So it is for extended the demand subsidy for electric two-wheelers. Next. Next is CCRAS. What is this CCRAS? Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences. It comes under the Ministry of Ayush, right? They have signed a memorandum of understanding with Anuvadini AI, that is an AI voice-to-voice translation platform that will translate evidence-based Ayurveda research accessible in 13 regional languages that includes Hindi. I repeat, Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences that comes under the Ministry of Ayush. They have recently signed this MoU with Anuvadini AI to translate Ayurveda research into 13 languages. So here we will be seeing multilingual support will be provided so that in India if we have scholars, if we have researchers in uh we have researchers in all over India. So in order to provide them with the right data so that they can also do research in their own languages and language does not become a barrier, this particular MoU has been signed here. Right? It comes under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. They and Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya has signed an MoU to train youth in the aviation sector. See students, space is the new sector today, right? So it is DGCA that signed this MoU with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya that will enhance skill development in the aviation sector, right? So this will be a three years course that will be your BSc in Aviation Maintenance Engineering and its academic session will be starting from 26-27 onwards. Important students, take a note. Then next is Ministry of Defense and Bharat Electronics Limited. They have signed 109 1,950 crore rupees contract for mountain radars for Indian Air Force. Now important thing to remember is that Ministry of Defense they signed contract with which organization? BEL, Bharat Electronics Limited. What is the amount of the contract? And third, for what equipment this particular MoU or this agreement was signed? It is for the procurement of two mountain radar systems for the Indian Air Force. Right? He is a Defense Minister Rajnath Singh. Next is government has extended PM KUSUM project's deadline till March 2027. First of all students, what is this PM KUSUM, right? Why was this scheme launched and what is the main target of PM KUSUM? PM KUSUM was launched in 2019 students. The aim of which is to promote solar energy adoption specifically in the agriculture, right? In agriculture sector where we know that in agriculture sector diesel and petrol are used, right? So to reduce the dependence on diesel and petrol and us and help the farmers shift from diesel and petrol to solar energy, this was your PM KUSUM. That is Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Maha Abhiyan. This is your PM KUSUM scheme that is providing relief to the developers and state agencies. So it is Ministry of New and Renewable Energy. They have extended the timeline for commissioning certain projects under PM KUSUM scheme. The revised deadline has been extended to what? It has been extended to 31st of March 2027. Earlier deadline was 31st of December 2025, but now it has been extended till 31st of March 2027. This scheme it aims to add 34,800 MW of solar capacity with central financial assistance of almost 34,422 crore rupees. Moving on students. Next. Next is Ministry of Finance. They have kept the interest rate on small saving schemes unchanged for the first quarter of FY27. Right? So if we look at the data for Kisan Vikas Patra, it is 7.5% maturity is 115 month. Then Public Provident Fund 7.1%, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana 8.2%, National Saving Certificate 7.7%, Senior Citizen Saving Scheme 8.2%, Post Office Monthly Income Scheme 7.4%, Mahila Samman Saving Certificate 7.5%.
