Closer Look at Original Transformers

We're in the Frankenstein room of Keith Junior High School. Yesterday, Penelac unplugged this bad puppy right here. This was the old transformer. I believe it used to run the old old one. This is a replacement. Would have run a lot of the houses on this block, I believe. But that is a transformer that ran all the power here to Keith Junior High School. One of the cool pieces of this is these guys up at the top up here. I was told if I get too close to those that it would arc and kill me on the spot. So, we try to stay away from those even though I believe they're now detached. One other cool thing about this concrete room down here, a good 15 ft below the surface of the ground. Okay. Is that this was the old wires coming in three-phase coming in here. So, this is this is what was replaced. And I believe this would have been original to the building 1923. How cool is that, right? They just cut them off and left them there for posterity sake. And then all of these all of these brackets, right? And then a really really old whatever that was there. Uh this this was replaced before I bought the building probably about 15 20 years ago, I believe. So how cool is that? Frankenstein room, Keith Junior High
