Can you actually profit from all you can eat buffet? But what about the most expensive one in the world? We're going to eat at three different restaurants at three drastically different prices to see if we can actually profit from them. Our goal in this video is to do any means possible to make more than what they charge [music] us. And at the end of the video, if I don't profit from at least two of the three restaurants we eat today, I'll do whatever the top comment says. But the twist is, since every restaurant will go up in price, the difficulty is going to increase every single time. And you're going to want to stay until the end because we're going to the most expensive all you can eat buffet in the world. And we're going to be rating each buffet from a scale of 1 to 10 depending on how good the food is compared to the price of the buffet. All right, our first stop, we're going to be going to a all you can eat sushi conveyor restaurant and it's the only one in Manhattan. So this is going to be a good warm up for the final challenge at the end of [music] this video. If you've watched my other videos before, you might have seen me try this restaurant before. But last time, I couldn't really make a profit from eating here. But this time it'll be different because I didn't eat breakfast. [music] I did that just to prepare for this. But later on, little that I know it'll bite me in the back. All you can eat. Now I went during lunch time. In total, it cost me $32.99 per person. So that'll be the goal to beat. Oh look, they even have those robots that give you drinks. But what I didn't know is that they will charge you extra for any leftovers. So now it just increases the difficulty because I can't have any leftover food on the table. Now going into this, I had a few strategies. I wanted to only eat the expensive sushi rolls like eel, uni, scallop, crab, and things like that nature. But once I walked in, I forgot about the game plan completely because I was so hungry because I I eat breakfast at all. And I just want to eat everything in my path. My first batches of order were spicy salmon roll, shrimp tempura roll, eel avocado roll, and spicy tuna hand roll, which is actually pretty freaking good. For our second order, I got a little bit too cocky. I wanted to try something new. So, I ordered sushi, but I also ordered some fried chicken, which to be honest, wasn't even as good as the sushi. It was pretty mid. But nonetheless, I pushed forward ordering some more rolls. Like they have the crab California roll, another I ordered another eel avocado roll, a spicy salmon hand roll, and that was my limit. But to calculate if we actually profited from the buffet, I priced each roll of what it would be like if I were to eat them at local restaurants. For example, a typical spicy salmon roll in New York City are typically $8. But since they serve each plate with four pieces, we will just estimate it to around $5.33 per plate. And so far we're doing pretty good. At the end, I barely managed to profit, which makes me worried because if I barely passed our supposedly easiest buffet, how will I beat the other two? Now, I got to be honest with you. I'm kind of a little bit more biased to this restaurant because I love sushi. It is easily in my top three favorite food. Even though I've already been here before, it's still pretty The food is still pretty good. The fish tasted really fresh. Everything was nicely presented. The service was quick. And for around $35 in New York City, the most expensive city in the world, this looks like a steal. So, this place I would give it a try, and I'm going to give this a solid 7.5 out of 10. Our next target is at a all you can eat steakhouse, specifically a Brazilian steakhouse. Churrascaria Plataforma Steakhouse. I'm sorry if I said that wrong. Churrascaria Plataforma It is one of the most popular Brazilian steakhouses in all of New York City. It was also featured at Man's Greatest Food. And now it's time for the number one Man's Greatest Food, meat. The Rodizio Prime Churrascaria Plataforma in New York City. >> [music] >> But this level is going to drastically increase, not only because it's going to be more expensive, making it harder to hit our goal. But fun fact, protein triggers a hormone, PYY and GLP-1, which makes your brain stop eating and lowers your hunger hormone. And going to this fancy steakhouse, they were intimidating. They have walls of past trophies and certificates and awards and like cutout newspaper when they were featured on the news. They also had free salad bar, and most importantly, never-ending meat. Have you been here before? No, it's my first time. So, you can serve the salad anytime. Okay. Take the salads for yourself. Okay. When you're ready for the meats, you flip over to the green. Okay. Thank you. This is your salad dishes. You can check it anytime you want. Okay. Enjoy. Thank you. >> Anything to drink? Water. Thank you. So, if you don't know how a Brazilian steakhouse works, you basically just sit down, they give you this circular card, you flip it over, one side is green, one side is red, and when you flip it to green, they just keep serving you meat on top of meat on top of meat. You're going to flip this over, and you're going to eat. Oh, no, it's my turn. But since this is a steakhouse, I didn't really have a strategy going into this because I couldn't really choose what I really eat. So, while I was stopping my mouth with meat, what I didn't calculate was how filling the food actually was. I don't know, it's quite There's so much food. Because by the time I was done with plate two, the waiters was not letting up. They just kept asking me, "Do you want more? Do you want more? Do you want more?" So, I had to say yes. They served me different cuts like top sirloin, flank steak, garlic steak, pork loin, juicy chicken thighs, sausages, like unlimited meats. And this is where I almost threw the challenge away. Cuz after eating so much meat, I walked over to the giant salad bar and oh my god, I There were so many options. I was so focused on the meat like I got distracted from the other things. They had so many options. They have different toppings. They have different dressings. They have pasta. They have salad. And honestly, it looked amazing. But, I knew I couldn't waste any stomach space on these side dishes. So, I had to just walk around, try to digest my food a little bit, and then just sit back down and try to just eat more meat. >> was like 60 bucks. I have to eat $60 worth of meat. Is it bad that I'm getting full already? I don't think I'm going to beat this challenge. This cuts of steak, it's so fatty, bro. I definitely got my protein intake today. I went to the bathroom and I'm telling you this is impossible. This is an impossible challenge. I've been here for like 20 minutes. Yo, I couldn't even finish my first plate. This is impossible. There's no way I get my money's worth here. But, at the end, this was how much I ate in total. And sad to say, I was not able to profit from this buffet. Which makes me concerned because the score now is one to one tie. And the finale is the most expensive all you can eat buffet in the world. If I can't beat this now, how am I going to beat that? Honestly, I love the experience here. I've only been to like a few other Brazilian steakhouse's before, but honestly, this one was really nice. The staff was super friendly the entire time. The restaurant looked really fancy, and most importantly, the meat was cooked really good. Like, it wasn't too rubbery where you have to chew it a lot and like hurt your jaw, and it wasn't like raw. It was like cooked perfectly. But, I would say the meat here is real it gets you full really quick. So, it's going to be harder for you if you want to try to make your money's worth. But, still the experience was amazing. I would give this place a solid 7 out of 10. All right, I'm walking to the buffet now. I had to reserve days early for this. Oh, wow. Look, Empire State Building is right here. Oh my god, this is the place. This is the place. All right, right now I am in front of the world's most expensive all you can eat buffet. Sure. Now, what makes this the most expensive buffet in the world is that they offer all you can eat unlimited A5 wagyu. Now, if you don't know what A5 wagyu is, it is basically a very high quality type of beef made only from Japan that comes from specially raised cows just to be eaten. And those cows are extremely well taken care of, which helps with the fat inside of their body. So, when we eat them, it's it just tastes better. This makes the steak very soft and juicy and rich in flavor that almost just melts in your mouth like butter. And the A5 grade is the highest rating possible for a beef, [music] meaning it is the best beef you can eat in the world. But, what makes this even more challenging is that this restaurant has a lot of rules. You can only eat for 90 minutes. No take outs or leftovers allowed. And if you have any leftover, you will be charged a extra $25. And the last order must be made 20 minutes before the end of the seating time. Now, this restaurant had way more rules than the other all-you-can-eat buffets I've tried before, but it's kind of understandable because it is unlimited A5 Wagyu. But before I tell you how much the most expensive all-you-can-eat all-you-can-eat buffet in the world cost, let's play a game. I'm not going to tell you how much it actually cost until the end of the video, but you guys will have to guess how much it cost based on the food they served me. Thank you. Thank you. And this place was so fancy, they had a waiter right outside the little box I'm eating at just to wait to pour me water. It was low-key making me really nervous. And they gave me side dishes like a salad and kimchi, but I knew it was a trap because those are going to make me feel full really fast, so I wouldn't order more A5 Wagyu. So, I know their tricks now. So, I didn't even fall for it. But I did like I I I tried a little bit. I tried a little bit. They just served me appetizer, so we're going to see how it actually tastes first. And the server was really thorough. They described what cut I was eating, what part it was, how should I eat it, blah blah blah, like stuff like that. It was a really fancy experience. All right. Thank you. the shoulder And then we have the lower rib. And then we have the picanha. And then we have the top And then the top sirloin, inside, outside, and the mid. Thank you. Do you like it more for the medium rare? Medium rare. So, the first serve they gave me was some raw cuts of A5 Wagyu, and they would cook it in front of me. >> [music] >> All right. Let's try it. And when I ate it, it was divine. It was like it It's like butter. It was literally almost like butter. It was salty and savory and just like if you don't have teeth, you could have just It would have went down just fine. And they kept serving me different parts, like the shoulder, the leg, the stomach, like everything. I felt like I just ate a >> [music] >> entire cow. Huh? This is just huge. And next, they gave me uni on top of the Wagyu beef. And it was delicious. The uni contrasted the the fattiness of the Wagyu beef so well. Steak with the uni is so good. This is so good. It's actually crazy. >> [music] [music] >> And at this point I was doing pretty well. I ate a lot of A5 Wagyu. I ate like three or four plates going into this and I was still pretty full. I actually might profit from this. I have eaten so much A5 [music] Wagyu beef my stomach hurts. I feel so fat right now. I feel like a cow. I needed I needed to walk around just to digest [music] better. I don't even know if I can profit at this point. I This is like my third or fourth plate. Oh my god. I don't even know how much I ate, [music] bro. Actually, now that I walked start walking it's not that bad. They actually served me some marinated A5 Wagyu, which tasted very different from the raw cuts. Oh, this one is different. Oh, it's marinated. No this is different. This is more savory than buttery. So, I just kept eating and eating and eating and eating and eating. I was making great progress, but in the blink of an eye they told me my time was almost up. If I want to eat any more, I have order now. And I was scrambling. So, I ordered some more A5 Wagyu and at this point I was like six plates [music] deep. And then the time was over. Okay, now this is the buffet I've been waiting for the entire video. Jonas basically ate all you can eat Wagyu experience. This restaurant was super super pristine and it was super fancy. The staff cooked everything in front of me and every single cut was a melt in your mouth. It was like butter. And somehow after eating all of the food this the food they served was something I'd never tried before, even at the steakhouse. The marbling, the flavor, the presentation, everything felt so premium. They even have a waiter that followed me and like just just stand [music] at right next to my table the entire time in case I have any questions, any any refills, or anything else, etc. Now, this place was really expensive, but all you can eat unlimited A5 Wagyu, I totally get the hype. This is probably the most insane dining experience I've had. So, I think I would give this place a solid eight out of 10. The food was so good, but oh, the price is so expensive. And now for the final reveal. In total, this place cost me $243.88. So, if you enjoyed the video, remember to subscribe. I'll see you hopefully next week. Peace.
