In this video, I'm going to explain to you how you can become so aligned that distractions simply disgust you. It's really vital that we understand both parts of this statement. What does it mean to be aligned and what does it really mean to be distracted and what does that cost you? To be aligned is so much more than people make it out to be nowadays. I think the term is drastically overused in today's society, especially in the personal development space, and it's kind of just thrown around. And I really want to try to stay away from and this is a common theme throughout my entire channel and all the videos that I make is that I really try to stay away from the surface level topics. And also, I try to keep my explanations uh below the surface as well because it's not what people really need. All the information that you could possibly want about things like personal development, manifestation, discipline, consistency, success, ambition, it's all out there. All the tips and tricks, they've already been made. All the videos are there. All the podcasts are there. All the books in the world that you can read on these topics. But most of them a vast majority simply cover very surface level actions. Um but they don't really get down to the identity level, to the internal framework that ultimately determines how you live your life when you're not consciously making decisions. And that's arguably over 95 to 99% of all the decisions that you make. So, when I say aligned, I really don't take that lightly. And so, what I really mean by that is you, as you are right now, needs to be able to see your identity. What does it mean to be able to see your identity? Your identity is innate. Your identity is an energy, an essence. And that is what you were created as. That's your purest, truest form, okay? When you were created by God, he obviously didn't snap into existence the physical body that you are now, all right? He created something like, you know, maybe it's not exactly, but it's the best way that we can describe it as human beings, an energy or an essence. And the way energy works is that it vibrates at a certain frequency. And that's how we know what we align with and don't align with, or what resonates or makes us feel some sort of dissonance internally. And we use these terms all the time. People say, "I resonate with that." Or or that's a vibe. "You're a vibe." These are all energy terms, and it's in our It's in our speech every day, but we don't realize it. Um because you know, frankly, most people don't don't think too deeply about it, which is understandable. But, it's all related here. And so, when I say that you need to see your identity what I really mean is that you need to be able to feel it. You need to be able to feel the frequency at which your energy, your essence, your identity is vibrating. Because what that will do is it will give you direction. It will give you conviction. Um everything in this world has an energy as well. Everything has a vibe. Whether I choose a fall scented candle at Target versus the you know, the uh forest scented candle or, you know, the cupcake scented candle. It's all different vibes and those candles are going to be chosen by different people with different identities, okay? How I decorate my room or the color that I paint my my walls or the way that I dress or the fragrance that I wear, the people that I hang out with, the place that I live. Everything has a vibe, okay? And you make all of these decisions based off of what in the moment you most resonate with. So, when you can feel your identity, you're aligned with your identity. And this this sense of harmony between I would describe it as like your conscious self, you know, the the version of you or the part of you that is experiencing reality every single day, going out into the world, learning things, picking up on things, um making efforts at things, failing at things, all of the above. And, you know, this innate deeper part of you that is your identity, when you have this this harmony between the two, this synchronicity, the way that you see the world and everything around you completely changes. Because all of a sudden things become so unmistakably clear as to what is right for you and what is not, all right? And that goes for what you see within your future. It just becomes it delivers itself to you at that point. And that's really a common characteristic of how energy works in general. When your energy is in a good place, right? Like alignment and resonance. Then what's meant for you will simply be gravitated towards you. Now it can be physical or it can be you know, something intangible like a vision or a dream etc. So these things will start to come to you. And the path also starts to lay itself as well. Because before when you were not aligned and you didn't have this sense of synchronicity in your life. Um every decision was an absolute headache and drove you insane. And so it was easier to be distracted and say go on your phone or hang out with your friends when you know that you shouldn't be. Right? Whereas now it's so clear because we make decisions. Again, we make these decisions based off of what we resonate with. Based off of what we decide is the best choice for us right now. And so when you are in pursuit of a goal or an ambition and you come to a a fork in the road and you have a set of options. Right? Even if they're not even if they're all unideal options. All seemingly lose, lose, lose options, okay? There's always a best course of action, no matter what circumstance you're in. And really if you ask me, the one of the most ultimate determiners between somebody who stays pretty stagnant, has dreams and visions, but doesn't really get anywhere, you know, notable, right? They have a lot of ups and downs, but ultimately, you know, net they just stay kind of where they're at. The biggest determinant between that person and the person that has these breakthroughs and these great strides toward what they want in their dreams and their visions is this skill exactly right here. It's to be able to have the conviction and clarity and be in a place internally where even if you are in a very unideal situation and given just a set of losing options to still in that moment be able to see the best course of action in front of you and then to go ahead and take that best course of action. Um that takes a sense of humility patience, tenacity that really is quite difficult to replicate consistently and and and with longevity unless you have you're in this state of alignment. And so that's my description of it. And you know, just kind of talking off the dome here, I think that that's a that's the best that I can describe it at the moment. So these are the things that we really need to be thinking about and talking about. Um and it's really a shame that more people I don't know, it's difficult, right? It's it's a difficult thing to talk about. It's difficult to say it in a way where it gets a lot of engagement and views because quite frankly, if you don't do it right, it can be boring. Um or just too difficult to comprehend. So, I guess if you're at this point if anything from this video, even if you forget everything that I just said, take this away from this video and carry it with you for the rest of your life. Please. You must adopt this skill to be able to do this sort of deep analysis and critical thinking for yourself. I wasn't able to just explain all of that by, you know, memorizing a page from a book. All right? I read every now and then, but people think that I read a lot more than I do. I actually can't tell you the last book that I've read. I tend to read articles and stuff, but it's not really related to anything that I'm talking about. People also tend to think that I'm this philosophical scholar, but I'm not. I I'm I know of philosophy. I've I thought it was interesting at one point, but it's not something that I thoroughly study or analyze. All of the things that I say in my videos have been picked up just simply through real-life experience and um just deep internal reflection within myself and the life that I've lived, decisions that I've made, things that I've felt, um etc. It You can find these answers for yourself. I promise you, but people really don't want to sit with themselves long enough to be able to do it. Um because distraction is just simply an automatic action that we have instilled within our subconscious mind in today's society, uh which I don't blame you for because, you know, it's really the people who are engineering these habits that, you know, if there's anyone to blame, I think it should be them. Anyways, I'm going to get Let me go on to the next topic. So, the other half of this is is distraction and really understanding the cost of falling into distraction at least on like a a a regular, consistent, frequent basis. And the The that I make that distinction is because I'm also not somebody that is going to like I get distracted, man. Come on, I'm human. Anybody who tells you that they don't get distracted, they're always dialed in, they always have, you know, bing bada boom, right? And they're just on point all the time is just lying straight to your face. Now, you can be a lot less distracted than others, for sure. Um you can manage that quite a bit to where you know, virtually most of your day you are working, but you know, whether it's late at night or in the morning or what like you're you you go on your phone, you read some news, right? You scroll on social media, you chat with a friend, right? We get distracted. It's a natural part of of the human process. Um so, to to say that you should never be distracted is simply just a unrealistic um expectation and standard. But, what your expectation should be is that you know when you should be in say a, you know, a focused, productive state and when it's maybe okay to to be distracted if you happen to fall into that. So, there's a time and a place for everything, and when that all goes out the window and you simply just get distracted whenever you want, and, you know, quite frankly, you're distracted most of your day, whether it be doomscrolling on social media for, you know, 8-plus hours or you play a bunch of video games and you know that you should be doing something else, or you go out to to parties and bars and clubs and whatever on the weekend when virtually that's the only time outside of your 9-to-5 or schooling or whatever that you can dedicate to to your dream, to your vision, and that thought is like right back there in the back of your head. And you hear it, but it's just not loud enough to be able to say um well, it's like stop doing this, you know? So, the cost of distraction is much more than procrastination. Uh the cost of distraction also really deeply changes how you view yourself as well. Because when you tell yourself that you're going to do something, that you're going to be committed to something, that you're going to pursue something, and you don't time and time again, you really start to lose a lack um lose a sense of deep sense of self-respect for yourself. Um and that might sound a bit dramatic, but it's not. It really isn't. I know this example has been used like quite a lot before. I'm not the first person to to use this example. But if you're at your job and you have a boss, and your boss tells you to do something, you're probably going to do it like you know, 9.5 times out of 10, or more than that, because you don't want to lose your job, and you got bills to pay, right? And so, to some degree, you respect your boss, or at least enough to be able to do what he says, even if you don't want to. And the fact that a lot of us right now don't have at least the same respect that we have for our boss at our 9-5 that we absolutely hate for ourselves is it's just a question to ask. It's something to look at. Perhaps that skill that I said that you should pick up um about you know, internal analysis, reflection, deep thinking, that could be the first thing you think about. Cuz it's interesting, like why not? Why do I Why am I not the person that I most respect in my life? Why when I tell myself that I'm going to do something, I don't listen? And again, every time that you don't listen to yourself, you lose that sense of self-respect. You get distracted and you really just exist in a perpetual state of distraction. These things a big part of life that that you need to understand as well is that momentum is a very very big factor in this. Um the more momentum you can build in a certain direction, the easier it will be to carry on within that direction. And so if you keep going in this backwards direction of losing self-respect, you're constantly distracted, you don't listen to your own word, um your self-perception is being absolutely destroyed, you're losing your deep connection um and passion for your vision because you've just been out of it for so long and so invested in other things that ultimately don't really matter. You know, at least in my experience the the chunk at which you take steps back gets bigger and bigger, the more you simply do not resist that and try to get some momentum moving in the other direction. And it's going to be hard, it's the way the momentum momentum moves, right? Like if you have momentum and force going this way and you all the all of a sudden try to you know, shift the direction that it's going in, this change in direction is going to be, you know, the the hardest bit. And that's the resistance that you meet when you try to start changing these things. But people don't really they don't understand this is happening um or they're trying to do this. And so all they do is try and they assume that you know, it'll be difficult, but not that difficult. It shouldn't be that difficult. And if it is that difficult, then there's something wrong with me or I'm not ready yet. But it's just not the case all the time. A lot of times you are ready, it's just that the natural process of you know, there's so much like a science to it. It's almost like the physics of of you know, changing direction in life requires that it be extremely difficult and the most difficult in the beginning in that initial change. Sometimes just understanding that is enough to say, "Okay, you know what? I think that I really could if I Now that I know this and this is really how it's supposed to be, I understand the mechanism. I understand the the dynamics of this um of this process. I think that I could could could sustain through that. I think I could find the fighting spirit within me and the in tenacity to be able to push through and and get to the other side because once you get through that first stage and you keep going, you know, the the more you keep going in this direction, the easier it will be to carry on. Um and the harder it will be for you to to revert back this way. Right? So, there's a compounding effect almost with distraction in your life and really with everything, but specifically this video is about um how to not be distracted and for it to be so foreign to you that it's just disgusting. It disgusts you. You can't even um it's just not your Before it was your normal uh go-to, your default action because it was just so programmed to your subconscious, but now that you're aligned with your identity, you see your path clearly, you're you're so connected to your vision and your ambitions, um every decision that you make, regardless of you're given a set of good options or bad options, you have the the discernment and the clarity to be able to say, "Okay, this is my best course of action given my identity and the ambition and goals that I'm driven towards and connected to. So, I'm going to dedicate myself to that. And then there are a bunch of different micro decisions and you can just break it down and break it down and break it down, but um it's almost like a you call it like a fractal. But, um nonetheless, I think for now like that's enough for this video, just those two main points because understanding them alone will do you worlds uh of of benefit in your life if you really genuinely take the time to perhaps reflect within yourself after this video or you know just rewatch it um throughout the day or you know just rewatch it the next day. Repetition and just and and intentional awareness to the information here I think will be of of great service and a great help to you in your life and I'm not just saying that cuz cuz whatever, but I don't know. These are the things like again, these are things that I've learned through my own life experience and have drastically helped me as a person as an individual as somebody that is also goal-oriented, future-driven. Um so, assuming you you are as well I don't see why why it wouldn't also be of great great benefit to you. Um nonetheless, uh I appreciate your time and I will see you soon. I want you. >> [music] >> I want
