GoHighLevel Automation Tutorial | 1. Introduction To GoHighLevel Workflows

hey guys it's Eve here hope you're doing well welcome to this video I'm not on my usual setup today because I had to move to the UK and uh I don't have my desktop I'm making videos on laptop but yeah I'm just using uh this time to make more videos now because I've been so much away from YouTube and uh just trying to get back and uh yeah trying to get back to the Rhythm so this is a tutorial series I'm making for go high level automation because a lot of you have been asking me to create descriptive videos on go level autom and how it works and you know how to create beginner to uh Advanced workflows so I will use this tutorial series to make more videos that will be focused towards Automation in Goan level and how to create them and I'll start from the very beginning uh like from really basic automation to how to create Advanced Automation in using high level so let's begin by going to automation so I'm in a sub account right now as usual and uh this is where the magic happens so this video will be about introduction to go high level workflows workflows means automation really so the workflows in go high level perform automated action based on uh an event that occurs an event could be a form submission an event could be an appointment booking also it could be a survey submission it could be a contact getting created inside the system and by the system I mean a sub account any kind of action so based on these uh events sorry not action based on these events you can create uh workflows to that will perform automatic actions so we are going to create a folder because I always uh like creating folders while working so I'm going to I'm going to use um this folder to keep all the workflows I'll be creating in in this tutorial series and this is the first video of that so let's go to this folder and uh what I can do is I can just uh create a workflow start from scratch this is basically how you create a workflow or how you begin creating one anyway so I'll say introduction to workflow this the best practice to uh always name your workflows so as soon as you create a workflow you save it of course and then you see that says uh add new trigger so by add new trigger I mean a workflow has two parts really so the first part is uh for what happens on based on what you will perform the automation so what's the trigger really what really T triggers this workflow it could be a form submission it could be an appointment booking it could be a new contact is created it also could be U maybe someone's birthday like one of your contacts birthday so it could be anything really so if you click on it you'll be able to see a bunch of uh triggers here and uh we will go one by one and maybe we we will look into the most important ones there so that's that's basically a trigger so let's let's select anything let's say form submitted you know so form submitted and that that's the trigger so whenever there's a form submitted in the system or a form created inside this go high level sub account is submitted this workflow will start working so now what is the work that will be done that we need to Define by the second part of the workflow that's called action so if you think about it what do you want to do when a form is submitted we want to send them a notification via email so that's fairly simple to do we need to just go to action and send email from name from email you know uh subject line thank you for submitting the form type the message thank you for submitting the form we will be in touch with you mean uh in the meantime you can visit our website to find more information about us that's it that's how you create a basic action or maybe a basic workflow and then when you are done hit publish and then it's save that's going to create and publish the workflow for you that's that's how simple it is and uh this video is basically about just understanding how a workflow works and this is for beginners really not for those who have been using high level for a while and uh I hope this video was helpful for beginners and in the next videos we will go one by one into how to create uh basic workflows to how to you know complicate things or maybe how to create Advanced not not really complicated things but how to create advanced level workflows so hope you subscribe to the channel and I will see you in the next video [Music]
