What's up everyone? How are you all? Today we are back with another amazing Nar story. What if Nar neglected by his family returned as the son of a wolfpack leader. If you enjoy then please like, share and do comments. The Kaobi attack. Manato and Kusha were face tof face with the Kaobi, the most feared demon to Konaha. They were protecting their children. Nar and Mito. They were beautiful children. Mito looked like her mother and had ruby red hair a little darker than Kusha's tomato red hair. Narut, however, had what seemed to be black hair. Little did they know there was yellow hidden underneath the mop of black. They were infants that had just came out into the cruel world of the shinobi. The parents restrained the monster with golden-like chakra chains protruding from Kusha's back. Manado was flying through the hand seals for the reaper death seals, but was stopped by a shout from the third Hokag. Manato, stay with your family. I have seen much more than you, and your life has just begun. With that, the senior pushed the young man toward his family. The third knew Manato was going to put the whole Kaobi into the girl that looked like her mother. Instead, the third split the Kaobi into two, putting the soul into Narut and the chakra into Mido. His last thoughts were happy as he left this world knowing Konaha will be okay now. The couple shared tears of happiness and sadness as they picked up Mito, leaving Narut behind by accident. The child was wailing from hunger when the Anbu came to assess the damage and found the child and the third's body. The heavens were crying along with the village as they disposed of the body. An ambu with gray gravitydefying hair turned to the black and yellow-haired child, knowing it was his sensei's child. He told the other Anboo with him of his leave and took the child in his arms. As carefully as he could, he ran toward the fourth hoage's mansion and knocked on the door with a heart full of rage. The door opened with a slight creek to find the yellow-haired cage at the door. With as much hidden malice that the silver egg could muster around his former sensei, he said, "I believe you forgot something, Hokag sama." The Hokag was slightly confused until he looked into the arms. The man took his child into his arms and said a mumbled, "Thank you." with a slight frown on his face before closing the door, but not before the silver-haired Anu caught a glimpse of the baby's eyes. It's been 5 years after Naruto's birth. Nar is a strong boy with a loving family and a loving home. Or that's what he would like to say. Nar is a boy who is beaten everyday by the villagers for his eyes, neglected by his family for who he is, and beaten for saying a word. The only person he can rely on is someone not from his family. A shop owner who put apart their differences between the two and looked in the middle of the book at where all of the other things aside from appearance are and fed him for free, bought him clothes and help with anything that he needed. But he still could not stop what was to come. The blonde ran as fast as he could from the people his father called his own. Blood ran down his whole body and dirt covered him as well. This boy was Nar. Nar ran from the villagers through alleys and back streets, trying to confuse his pursuers. Blood was concentrated on Naruto's eyes, making him unable to see. Pulsing his chakra in waves so that he could see, he made it to the gates. Nar was a prodigy and extremely smart for his age. But no one noticed but Kakani and Tui, the ramen shop owner. Hearing shouts of leave demon and monster, Nar ran through the gates, leaving the village behind. Some of the villagers followed him, but quickly lost Nar because of the trees and shrubbery. I love that word, shrubbery. Nar kept walking. He did not know what direction he was heading or even where he was, but he knew he was away from immediate danger, so he did not care. Nar kept of walking for what seemed like hours until he got shoved down and a weight put on his chest. What are you doing in my territory, human? A growl followed after the question, but Nar did not react. He could not see this person, but he did not care anymore. He had fought the best he could against the villagers. So why try now? Nar stayed silent, unaware of the person's looks. Why are you not afraid of death, child? It was a genuine question toward the blond-haired boy. The boy could still not open his eyes because of the dried blood that sealed his eyes shut. He replied in an icy tone that held no emotion. I have tried my best to survive. I no longer have the energy to move. I have gone 5 days with only a few pieces of expired bread and water from a pond nearby. I am extremely exhausted from running any longer. So please, if you are going to kill me, don't waste my time and do it quickly." Nar exposed his neck for the stranger to kill him, but nothing happened. Nar could not see it, but the person's eyes widened and he sniffed the air to smell blood and lots of it. The stranger looked at his exposed neck to see a large deep slash as if someone had tried to cut his head off. Nar felt a tongue lick the wound that was inflicted on him at the village. He soon felt that the wound was healing from the saliva. Come human, I shall take you to Zunou. He will choose what to do with you pup. Pup. Nar has never been called that before. He has been called kid by Kurama. Yes, he know about him, but he has never been called pup. He felt himself being picked up by a strong force and lifted high into the air before being plowed down on a soft, comfy surface that almost felt like a pillow. Nar tried to wipe the crusty blood from his eyes and saw that he was in a saddle-like device on top of a huge wolf's back. Imagine aa from Avatar, that sort of saddle. The boy looked all around him in wonder. He saw a pack of large wolves with an array of color to them. Giant trees could be seen all around him, as well as smaller wolves greeting the larger ones at a gate that led to a huge trees littered with the huge trees here and there. The boy assumed that those holes led toward the homes for the wolves. A hill base could be seen surrounding the clearing in a crescent shape, leaving only one point of entry. There was also caves in the mountain along with ledges and wood bridges. Now, that was only one section that looked like the higherups lived there. All around the crescent mountain was 10 or more dens that were surrounded by a wooden wall. The boy and the wolves stepped through the large wooden gates to the higher up section. Put the boy down here, Akira. I will take the boy the rest of the way to Zunal. A large wolf with a full brown coat said to the full black wolf that was carrying the large saddle that Nar was in at the moment. Nar had still not opened his eyes enough for the wolves to see them because of fear that they will treat him the same as the villagers. The black wolf picked him up by the shirt and handed him to the brown one before they headed into a large cave opening at the base of the mountain. It seemed larger than the rest and had a white light that illuminated the inside. When they got inside, a large lighted cavern greeted them and in the middle sat a large gray wolf. He looked like an older wolf and his position just screamed wisdom. He sat on a large greystone throne and sat there looking upon the people that entered the throne room. He looked at the brown wolf and smiled. Then he saw the bloody human boy and frowned a little. Why is there a bloody human pup in the throne room? The brown one bowed to the leader and raised before speaking with Narut on the floor in front of him. I'm sorry to disturb you, Zunal, but I found the pup while I was hunting and he did not fear death. He rire of blood and he is only a child. So I bring him back to await your opinion on the matter. He leader now known as Zunul thought more a moment before he said, "Bring him forward." The brown one did as he was told and picked up the shivering boy. He was cold from the blood loss from earlier. Nar was placed in front of Zunou. He picked him up and placed the boy in between his paws and spoke to the brown one. Thank you for bringing him here. You may leave now. Everyone left to the illuminated room, leaving Nar and Zunul there alone. Zunou laid down on his side and grabbed Nar with his mouth and brung him close enough to snuggle into the warm fur. "Why do you not fear death pup?" he asked in a warm comforting tone. Nar had still not opened his eyes when he answered. I have been hunted all my life because of something I cannot control. I have made my escape from that place, yet I get struck down again. I felt that I had no place to belong, so I was ready to accept death's warm embrace fullheartedly. To say Zunul was surprised by the pups words was an understatement. He had never heard a child of such a young age say such a thing. Then he turned angry. Not at the boy, but at the people who would do such a thing to a child. He then became curious of what or why they were hunting him down. Why were you hunted? Nar stiffened at the worm's voice question. He was not prepared for it. But the question was expected. You if I show you then you will hate me, hate me like the rest. It was just above a mumble, but he could hear him. No, I will not. I unlike some others, I don't care about your appearance or personality. As long as you don't personally hurt someone, then I will and cannot hate you. Nar let out a whimper as he opened his eyes wide in Zunal's direction. The leader gasped as he beautiful eyes captured him in a translike state because of their beauty. Now they hated you because of your eyes. Now that is a ridiculous reason. Those eyes are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen besides my mate and pups. Nar eyes shimmerred with tears before they overflowed like a waterfall on his tan face. Zunou hugged the child with his muzzle for comfort while the boy cried to his fur in a desperate attempt to stop the flow of tears but to no avail. After a few minutes, Narut pulled away from the comfort and whipped his tears. I feel so weak crying like this in front of someone. Don't feel weak. Crying is not a sign of weakness. It's the sign that someone has been strong for much too long and has finally let it out. Crying is a thing strong people do. Nar spent the next four hours with the huge silver wolf, sleeping, cuddling, and sharing stories of the past. Father Zunul was stunned at what the child had called him and was also pleased. His mate was unable to carry any more children after their first litter. Unfortunately, only two survived. However, the pups were both not leader material and did not wish to take the mantle of leader. Therefore, he was pressured by the elder council to pick an heir from a different bloodline or mate with another again. However, he wished to not do both. He will not betray his mate by mating with another. Whether it be male or female, both are able to carry children. Then he started to think to himself. It would be a painful process for the boy, but he might whiling to do it. Then he snapped back to reality with a shake of his head. Yes, sorry. Zoned out for a second. Nar looked up at Zunul in a concerned manner. Um, could I be part of your family? I don't really have another. And I Nar was cut off by Zuno, giving him a lick to the face. Of course, you can, but I have to tell your new mother and brothers. Nar stared stareyed at the wolf and hugged him while salty tears made their way down there down his face. Thank you so much. Zunou hugged him back with his muzzle and said, "Don't cry, child. Now, let's<unk> go meet your mother and two brothers. I'm sure they will love you." Zunou stood up and headed toward the cave entrance with Nar following close behind. When they came into the light of day, all of the higherclass wolves were staring at them. Nar scrambled behind Zunul's leg. Enough staring. I have decided that this pup shall stay with us. He has been discarded by the humans. You shall treat him as my own, for I shall treat him as my own. The others looked at their leader with understanding, while most of the females looked at Nar with pity in their eyes. Three elderly wolves walked toward Zunou with a smirk on their face. Zunou, you can't possibly think that you can take this human man pup into our village without the merging process. Before Zunul had a chance to speak, one other elder spoke in a more panicked manner. And what if the humans come and try to hurt us? Again, before Zunol could speak, the third elder spoke with more confidence. We can take on the Betty humans. Their bodies are weaker and they have no sharp teeth. The trio started to argue with one another. Zunou gained a tick mark on his forehead. Zunou growled loudly. Enough. I have had enough of your senseless bickering. Sigh. I will ask the pup if he wants to do the merging process. If not, then he will still be my son. Do you understand? The enderly wolf's ears flattened against their head and tails tucked in between their legs. Yes, Zunal. Zunal huffed and walked away with Nar on his heels. They walked through the forest until they were at another small clearing. In the clearing was a small pond to the right and a training groundlike area to the right. There Nar could see a beautiful purple black wolf with a white underbelly with long fur on her tail that made it look like I was dripping and golden eyes. She was wearing a gold necklace and a blue gem on her forehead. Picture above. She was laying down under the shade of a maple tree while she watched two other wolves fight. The first was a large white wolf with a gray tribal designs on his fur along with golden eyes. The other was a little smaller than the gray one, but was nowhere near small. He had black fur with white paws and a white diamond on his forehead. Nar stood there as Zuno walked up toward the black and white female wolf and licked her neck. He laid around the wolf as she curled into his side. Nar could hear them talking together. However, he could not make out any words before the shewolf<unk>'s eyes filled with joy, and she stood up with a jolt of energy as she looked around. Zunold told her to calm down and pointed his muzzle in Naruto's direction. "Boys, stop sparing for a second. Your father want to show you something?" The sheolf yelled before she ran toward Nar. "Ah!" Nar yelled as the female wolf picked him up and brought him toward the shade where the rest of the small family was waiting. "What is it, mother?" The black and white wolf said to the only female there. Then he looked at the small boy. He stared at his father for answers as the white wolf said nothing. This boy shall be a part of our family from now on. Treat him as your brother. He has been discarded by the humans because of his stunning eyes and have labeled him as monster. Therefore, we shall take him in, and if he wishes, he shall do the merging process. Nar looked at Zunul with confusion. He had overheard some of the wolves talking about the merging process over and over again, but he had no idea what it is. What is the merging process? The she wolf looked at him with a blank look. The merging process is a ritual of sorts where a family can take a human into their family as a blood member. The human will turn wolf with the ability to transform into a human as well as grant the human all of the abilities from the family that is a blood trait of the family. However, it is extremely dangerous and is extremely painful for the human that they might die. Therefore, it has not been done for generations. Nar looked on at the wolf with his unique eyes. If I may, can I do the merging process? I know the dangers now, but I want to be a part of this family, and you saved me from the people I once called my own. So, please, it is the least I can do to face the dangers." The family looked at Narut in awe. a small pup, not even six yet, speaking as if he was an adult of 30. Then the female sighed, "Fine young one. But before we do that, let's<unk> introduce ourselves." Nar nodded in an excited manner. Everyone laid down and Nar sat down in front of them. "As you know, my name is Zunol. I am the leader of this village. However, you will call me dad, father, or anything that falls in that category." Zunou smiled. Next was the only female there at the moment. My name is Fubuki, but please call me mother or anything that falls in that category. She also smiled a warm smile. Boys, introduce yourself. The mother scolded with a smile. The boys started to sweat and the grey wolf spoke. My name is Orashi. I am the eldest brother. Then the one with black and white fur spoke with a smile. My name is Kay's. I am was the youngest brother. Nar looked at them and them looked at himself. He wanted to be like them, a strong, proud wolf. He didn't care about what happened to himself. My name was Nar. However, I do not want to be called the name the person who birthed me gave me. Can you please name me something else? Naruto's pav. Mother looked at father in a way that said, "What do you think, manner?" They looked at each other as if they were having a mental conversation. Mother turned to me and spoke. I think your name should be Kagami. It means mirror because I can see my reflection in your beautiful eyes. I smiled at what mom said. Thank you. I really like that name. Third person pav. Sorry for so much Pav switching. Everybody stood up and walked over to the pond on the other side of the river. Beckoning Kagami Nar to follow them. They got to the edge of the pond and entered. The pond went up to Kagami's shoulders extremely quick. However, it stayed that way for the whole length of the pond. Kagami was told to go into the middle as the force surrounded him. We are going to begin the merging process. Are you sure you want to do this? Fubuki asked with a worried tone. Kagami nodded with determination. They nodded and begun. Then the wolves bodies turned into a pure element in the shape of their former bodies. For Fubuki, it was a flurry of snow in the her shape. For Zunul, it was pure white electricity. For Arashi, it was flowing dark clouds. And for K's, it was wind. Use your imagination. They all opened their mouths wider than should be possible for a wolf, and a light energy came out in the shape of tendrils. The tendrils came together in the form of a growing ball of brilliant swirling energy. Kagami looked at the energy above his head with his wide renegon-like eyes. The ball of energy stopped gaining energy and compressed into a tiny golf ball size. The energy descended in front of Kagami gracefully. It came to a complete stop in front of his chest. It waited for only a second before plunging itself into his chest and disappearing. A scorching hot pain entered Kagami's whole body as he screamed bloody murder for the whole world to hear. He writhed in the water. Thrashing, turning, screaming, and cursing was all that Kagami did for the next hour. But then it suddenly stopped only to be replaced by a more physical pain than before. A white light appeared around Kagami, blinding anyone who could see it. Kagami could feel his whole body changing, shifting, growing, and shrinking. When the light dissipated, the family could only look on in awe to see a snow white wolf with renegon cat-like eyes. He had a strong build body type and the aura of a leader. However, there was only one thing wrong with him. He had nine tails. Kagami looked around him. He was taller than before, and he felt slightly warmer. His body felt sort of strange. He looked down to discover paws instead of the feet he had once known and a longer mouth than he had before. He swiveled his head to look at his body and figured out that he was more flexible and was covered from head to toe in fur. He looked back at his family with wide eyes and a crazed smile on his face. His family looked shocked to the point their mouths were wide open. "Hello," Kagami said as he sat down in the now shallow pond that seemed to knock his mother's shock of her face as she returned to reality. She ran toward him, circling him and looking at him from all over. This is just wow. She started to run around him like a crazed fan girl. Kagami was looking at his brothers for help. However, they did nothing to stop the crazed mother. Suddenly, the mother looked at Kagami with a look of confusion. Honey, come look at this. Zunul walked over to his new son, followed by Arashi and Kay's with confident strides. They walked up beside Fubuki. After they all had sat down in the small pond in front of Kagami. Yes, Fubuki was is it? Zunul asked while looking at his mate. His fur is mostly white. From what I recall, his man fur was a bright blonde. And why does the kid have nine tails? I don't get it. Zunol sighed. Fubuki, I don't know. However, let's<unk> all be thankful that our new son is alive and well. They all held together. After the little family celebration, Kay spoke up. You know, you sort of look feminine. I think you might have a problem with males. Kay's giggled. However, stopped when Kagami hit him with nine golden tipped tails to the face. Oh, shut K's. Everybody laughed. Come on. Let<unk>s go home. Arashi said walking off. The wolf family had to walk through town to get to their home. They were at the marketplace. It was full of lots of colorful wolves and pups as well as merchants. Many to most of them bowed to the family. However, a select few did not. As the family passed through the male section of the marketplace, a group of brown earthy furred males approached the family. They took one look at the family and figured out that Kagami was the only one who looked single. They let out a few whistles of improvement toward him, unaware that he was male. They surrounded him, taking a few affectionate nips at his ears and neck. Kagami snapping his jaws every time in the direction of the their snout. Things like this happened commonly in spring because mating season was coming up and nobody wanted to be alone during mating season. After more circling, one of the wolves took a nip near Kagami's rear, something males would do when they wanted. After that, Kagami snapped, turning and biting the earthy toned male on the neck, drawing blood. Kagami's family did not notice this was happening until the yips of distress from the male Kagami was biting reached their ears, making them turn around to the scene. Kagami let go of the male and turned to the other males, slapping them all with one of his tails. Kagami let out a fearsome howl of anger out upon them. The howl only the first second is the howl thingy. The howl was enough to scare the males off with their tails tucked in between their legs. Kagami huffed with a snarl of his face and then sighed, calming himself. "Shall we continue?" Kagami said with surprising calmness, considering what just happened. They all nodded quickly before returning to their journey home. All the way to the family's home, Kagami had gotten wolf whistles along the way, receiving a threatening snarl from Kagami's protective big brothers. Off finally home, the mother side. The home itself looked very plain on the outside because of it being a cave entrance with luscious green moss hanging from the top. On the inside was a marvelous open cave cavern with a large pond in the middle. There was a small moderate-sized holes in the walls provided entrances to room from the large cave. "Wow, this is amazing," Kagami exclaimed, running around and even splashing in the water. He turned to his mother and father with a shit- eating grin on his face. Zunou walked up to the soaking pup. "Yes, yes, it's amazing. However, you need to go to bed. You have a big day of training tomorrow," Zunou said with a small smile. Kagami<unk>y's face lit up with happiness. "Really, father? Kagami asked with another grin of happiness. Zunou replied with a really back and got tackled in a hug from the ninetailed wolf before the young kid and his brothers went to their own rooms. Zunoual sighed when the kids were gone. Fubuki and Zunul walked to their room and sat down of the puffy violet mat on the floor that served as a bed for the couple. Zunou sighed and cuddled his wife as they drifted off into the soft bliss of sleep. Third person pav kagami woke up with a yawn as he stretched out like a cat waking up from a nice nap. Ha was extremely excited for the day he has today with his father. He gets to train with all of his family one by one. He will be trained personally in all of the things that his family members specialize in such as full body elemental transformations, healing, leadership, geography, hunting, and surviving. In return, Kagami teaches them how to transform into a human and the human customs. I forgot to explain. When the ritual is done to assimilate one being into a family of the Ukami, it is a two-way exchange. The person who is coming into the family gains a full transformation into a wolf with the plus of your human form when you want to turn back. However, you have to learn to walk on two legs again as well as wait until you comfortable with your wolf form. On the other hand, the immediate family that participated in the ritual gains a dormant ability to turn into a human. They also have to learn how to walk on two legs as well as to use their hands and many of their other body parts. Most of the wolves turning humans become mute for a few months before they get used to their new vocal cords unless they have training beforehand from the new family member. In that case, it might take up to a few weeks. Kagami's family had talked to him about this while they were walking before they were oh so rudely interrupted. They had also discussed Kagami's sudden change of head fur color, that's what they call human hair, and had concluded that Kagami's change in fur color was due to the extreme stress of merging process and that it is not reversible naturally. Kagami raced to the main room as his siblings and parents joined him, looking tired from the rude awakening from the youngest Dukami. "What is it, Kagami?" his mother said, exhausted, accidentally falling into the pond, only to sit there in the water, not caring for now. Well, you said you were going to train me today, and I'm also going to help you all," Kagami said in an excited tone along with a shit- eating grin on his face. His family snickered a little before they started to walk outside. "Yes, yes, come on. However, let us wake up. It's not even dawn," Zunul said with a small smile on his face. Everybody went out to the front yard and relaxed while laying down. In the front yard was a cliff to your right where you could overlook the sunrise and a forest that leads back to the village. At the bottom of the cliff was a river cascading over the horizon. The source was a waterfall that emerges halfway through the cliff face. The family sat down enjoying the peace of the rising sun and the company of their family with them. The silence was broken by Kagami asking a question for them all to contemplate. What do you want to first? Do you want me to teach you about the human side of you or do you want to teach me about the Ukami? Peaceful silence issued upon them as they thought. I think that it will be interesting to learn about our human part of us now. Fubuki suggested, I want to teach Kagami about us wolves. It's<unk> important because he will be here for a long time. Zunul added, "I agree with mother. It would be interesting to see what would happen in our human form." Case stated slightly shy. All looked to Arashi, waiting for his opinion. He was looking at the horizon with a stoic expression. He was thinking of the pros and cons of the teachings. His family stared in anticipation at his choice. Either way would benefit the family by tons. However, one choice would be more important. I think that family leaned in in suspense. We should train Kagami immediately. It's<unk> only fair. This world is very dangerous and I would hate to delay the training that would help him survive. Though he is only a child, I fear there is much work to be done. His family looked at him in astonishment. Rashi was very wise for his age. But holy feces, that was awesome. Zunou looked at his eldest son with a face of shock for a few seconds before shaking his head to clear the expression from his face as the sun sun moved halfway over the horizon. Well then, what are we waiting for? The family walked to a clearing on the other side of the village using many back alley streets and hidden routes to avoid wolf calling. It took almost all of the sunlight that they had, however, to use this method of transportation. They arrived at the large clearing. It was vast enough for an large amount of wolves to put inside. however, not to have asked for one to not have any shade to rest when they need to. They gathered in the middle of the field, ready and waiting to talk with one another. So now that we are all in agreement about which training we will do first, we now need to discuss what we will do first and Kagami's training. This was Zunul speaking up for the family. Zunal asks these questions to his family so that they will answer. In case Zunul somehow is unable to lead, one family member must take his place. And he is making sure they will make the right choice. But they don't know that. Father, we must find Kagami's elemental nature. Finding this will determine his elemental training regimen, Kay said in a quiet voice. However, Zunul caught it as well as everybody else. Very good, Kay's Kagami. To find out your element for the first time, wolf pups usually tend to howl with their parents or siblings to find their elements. If you want, we can demonstrate for you. Zunul directed toward Kagami, who was looking at him carefully. But I'm not a pup. And how does one howl? Kagami asked him. This time, Fubuki answered him. Kagami in the Ukami pack. Wolves are considered pups until they are at least 10 summer cycles old years. And you are five, I assume. However, you will always be a pup to me. Kagami giggled as Fubuki nipped at his ear playfully. So, do you want us to demonstrate? Zunou repeated his question as before, making Kagami nod his head in embarrassment. The rest of the small pack stepped a few meters away from him before tilting their head up in a beautiful howl. It sounded like a calm melody to your ears, unlike the normal wolves whose howl was something to run at if a civilian was to grace it. One by one, the element of the wolves began to slowly swirl around their bodies, almost like streams of ribbon, slowly dancing to their howls before only the tip of their tails were dissipating into their respective elements, eventually turning their whole tail into their elements. They stopped howling and turned to Kagami and walked to an amazed wolf with his maw hanging open in astonishment. Close your m you will catch flies. Arashi teased with a small smile, his tail swirling in a black cloud storm raining on his tail. He did as told and looked up at them. Can I do it now? Zunul and Fubuki smiled. Of course you can, Arashi. Case, can you join him, please? Fubuki said to the males, leaving no room for argument if there was any. However, Arashi and Kay's dispelled their elemental cloaks and joined Kagami in the middle of the clearing. Kagami was nervous. What if he couldn't do it? What if he wasn't good enough? What if he Kagami? It was Kay's that broke him out of his worries. He sensed his brother's stress and relieved him when he said, "Don't worry about it. We will always love you. Now take a deep breath and howl from your heart. A beautiful howl always comes from there." The mostly black wolf smiled a warm smile at Kagami. Said Wolf returned a small forced smile as well. Kagami took a deep breath to calm himself as his brothers started to howl. He breathed in and howled an amazing melody come from his ma perfectly matching his brothers in song as K's and Arashi's tails started to take form of their element. Wind a storm ribbons slowly dancing around the two. Kagami also had his element sorry elements take place in ribbons around his body. Zunul and Fubuki stared on in awe as Kagami's tails started to disappear and reform into the elements. Kagami, however, didn't focus on that. Hell, he didn't notice it at all. He was basking in the song that was played throughout the forest, calming the pack into a peaceful sleep and making the stars come into view. Kagami was solely focused on the melody he and his brothers were howling. He didn't notice the elements that were swirling around him and enveloping his nine tales in different colors that were chosen just for him. It seems like Arashi and Kay's didn't notice as well, the calming melody soothing their minds and calming their souls as they focused on the voice that made their hearts swell in size because of their love for their baby brother. The pack had heard the melody and had come out of their homes to howl with the melody. As more and more pack member joined in the song, young and old, strong and weak, came to howl. And when they thought that the melody couldn't get better, an array of colors whisping through the sky, around the moon, and through the stars, as if the great spirit himself had come to pay tribute to the joyous song sung by the pack. As the final note of the song rang out in joyous harmony, the wolves went back to their dens to sleep. The memory of those hours stuck in their heads to be passed on from generation to generation. The trio of brothers finished last, looking at each other before remembering what they had come to do in the first place and looked to Kagami. What they saw stunned them. A beautiful wolf will be each one of his tailed replaced by a nine different elements. Each element holding one of Kagami's tails. The first tail was an inferno of a fire. The second being blue water. The third being a swirling blocks of earth. The fourth air. The fifth lightning. The sixth healing chakra. The seventh looked like a purple floating liquid, gravity. The eighth was a swirl of green vines and brown branches together, nature. The last and ninth tale was his original tails, a white furry thing with gold at the end. There was silence throughout the clearing before surprisingly the shiest of them all broke the silence. Kay spoke. Holy feces, that was awesome. Kagami panted as he ran, sprinting almost. He had been running just like this for 5 hours. Not like anybody is counting. This running course was a part of Kagami's new training regime. Zunoual and his family have been training him for about one summer cycle and Kagami had improved tremendously from the weak pup that he was into a born leader that he was meant to be. Zunul had been training him on endurance, stamina, and the basics of hunting and tracking. Kay's trained Kagami on his many elemental training, including chakra preservation when using these techniques. Arashi's training though was the harshest of them all. It was physical fitness and leadership and politics. He had made Kagami take place in many of the village meeting in Arashi's place under the influence of gravity seals. Also that he could get the feel of difficult decisions that he might have to take under pressure. Fubuki had been training him in finding a mate and being able to understand that he could be mated or have a mate, if you know what I mean. Winking face. No, sorry. and understanding that he had to take the same precautions as a human female would if they didn't want a child yet. Now, Kagami was not the only one learning in the family. After Kagami had finished a day's training, he helped his family in their human transformations. I will give you pictures of them later. He helped them walk on two feet as well as learning about utensils and the size difference. He also helped them understand speech and the way a human is supposed to act with with others. He taught him everything they needed to know about human life. Even how to use their wolf abilities with their human forms. When Kagami turned back into a human, something had happened to his appearance. Gone was the blonde hair that he had before and Snow White hair is replaced. They deduced that Kagami's sudden change in hair color would have to be because of the physical stress of the merging process turning all of his hair white. Aside from that, everything else is as it was. Kagami walked through the marketplace. He had been sent there to pick up some fruits and vegetables from the market. Unlike the standard wolf you might see every now and then, the Ukami are omnivores, meaning they eat both meat and plants. However, Ukami do lean more to the carnivorous side. Can I have three watermelons, please? Kagami asked the male ha had to pay for the fruits. Instead of currency, they have an exchange-based money system. Anything for a pretty female like you. Kagami gained a tick mark but quickly covered it with a polite smile. Another perk of Arashi's training, emotion control. Thank you. Have a nice day. Kagami started to walk away with his goods. However, was stopped by the same male and some other sketchy looking wolves. Wo, hold your paws. I only want a good time. I'll even pay y'all. The server walked closer, circling Kagami and watching his every move like he was hunting prey. I'm sorry, but I'm not interested in your petty attempts at a mating. Now I'm leaving with those words. Kagami let loose his key flooring all of the wolves in a 3 m radius. Good day. Let the time skip of Chibi Kagami. Sorry for the drastic change in scene and Pav still third person. It had been a few months after that incident. The past months have been stressful months for the Ukami village. The neighboring bear clan had been allied to the Ukami for generations because of a common enemy many many years ago. a clan of rouge animals that had abused the powers of the elements and had turned to the dark arts to gain more power. In turn, destroying any common sense or sanity. They had been growing in size in the past. So, in a lastminute decision, the clans of the bear, wolf, Ukami, Heron, Hawk, and Badger, formed a temporary alliance against a common enemy, and wiped the rouge animals off the face of the earth in an epic battle of strength and wits with the united force winning the war. After the war, the herand, hawks, and badgers left the alliance, however, agreed to not attack unprovoked. The bears, however, stayed in the alliance and became a little closer and even started a trade with them. In the last months, the bears had caught wind of Zunou adopting a human child and them doing the merging process. They had been confused and slightly wary of Kagami's growing power. That had put the alliance on thin ice. However, when a bear came back to their village covered in wounds and blood, claiming that a wolf did that to him, the leader of the bears, Rya, confronted Zunel over the matter and explained the situation. Zunou defended himself and Raida believed him. However, more and more bears that had been doing something outside the village walls were all coming back to the village, barely clinging to their lives. All claiming that a pack of varying numbers of wolves had attacked them. And just as they were delivering the final blow, they ran, leaving the bear to suffer. During all of this, Rya confronted Zunul for a second time. However, instead of demanding an explanation, she had issued a warning that if any more of her people turned up in the same condition, they would declare war on them, and that their alliance was broken. And like magic, 10 more bears came back at the same time, cover muzzled to tail in blood, barely able to breath. After that, Zunul had been put of edge in fear of an attack. In preparation, Zunul had rallied all of the able wolves that had specialized in an earth element into a mining force and had asked them to dig a secure cavern in the middle of a large mountain near the clan. Zunel then got his sons to rally all of the transportation, muscle, hunter, and farmer wolves to package and store food and water into the mountain in case of an emergency evacuation. In a moment of brilliance, Kagami suggested to gather all of the sealers to develop a seal to mask all chakra and put them all around the cavern. so that if it ever does come to war, the bear cannot easily find the civilians. Kagami also joined them in the ceiling, spending 4 days without sleep and very little food just to complete it as soon as possible. The members collapsed immediately after. They were in a coma-like state for 2 days before waking up, sore, however fine. And then it happened. Kagami walked around the village playing with any of the pups that want him too and offering smiles and a helping hand around the village. Kagami was just about to ask if an eldering wolf needed any help when the ground started to shake. It started at a light rumble and gradually got more and more unstable. Kagami sniffed the air for a threat and stared at the treeine. He saw a stampede of bears in the forest coming his way fast. Everybody get to the mountain. Kagami yelled out. That broke everybody out of their confusion as every civilian ran screaming. At the same time, the bears broke through the tree line, killing anybody in their path. It turned out that they were surrounded trapping pups and elderly alike inside the circle. Everybody gather around a warrior. Do not hold back. Kagami ordered Kagami's family was at the house, which was somewhat secluded from the village, making Kagami take charge of the situation. A school of pups gathered around Kagami's legs, hoping to be sheltered and protected by the prince. The bears destroyed trading stands and killed many unprepared wolves. Many elemental wolves were fighting off the rampaging bears, many also falling victim of the angry grizzlies. Kagami stared frozen at the carnage that was shed across the battlefield that Kagami called home. He then looked at the traumatized pups underneath him, hiding in his tails and underneath him, their parents probably dead on the battlefield. He squeezed his eyes shut, thinking all but a dream. His other half, however, knew it wasn't a dream and was compelling him to do something, anything, to help his people. This is risky, but I had to do it. Kagami suddenly opened his eyes with solid determination. I will give a shout out to the first three people to tell me where that's from, burning in his eyes. A bear spotted Kagami and the pups and started to charge at them. Kagami stared the bear down as it got closer. Kagami's tails started to glow their respective colors and crept up his body, turning into a white glow after it left his tails. Kagami looked down at the pups. "Stay close!" Kagami's voice almost echoed throughout the battle. Other wolves that were still alive instinctively started to form a huddle with the people who are protecting them on the outside. Like a protective circle, Kagami grew in size, glowing. A swirl of compacted elements flew in a spiral around him, obstructing their view of Kagami. It then dispersed and in what was revealed was a glowing white wolf with nine tailed that all glowed and swirled with the different elements. This wolf had renegon-like eyes and was twice the size of any wolf there. The renegon eyes surveyed the battle, taking in every detail before closing his eyes. Black tears streamed down his pale fur as his gravity tail flored everybody on the battlefield, including his allies. He closed his eyes once again. His green tail that surged with healing chakra turned a sickly purple and dispersed throughout the battlefield. The purple mist only touched the bears and surrounded all of them. At first, it did nothing, and then a magenta pulse that started at Kagami's tail base pulsed through the purple mist. A moment of silence overtook the battlefield, and then the screams of their attackers surged through the battlefield. The wolves looked on as the bear's skin turned a dark purple before melting into a purple past, leaving only a skeleton behind. The gravity had made the weaker wolves unconscious, so they did not see the gruesome scene. The purple mist had not touched any of the wolves that were currently alive, and by the looks of it, not many were. The purple muck that was the bears that attacked them hovered in the air and returned to Kagami's only normal tail. It became the tail, turning it black and making Kagami's tails swirl with an unknown energy. Shadows, darkness. The tail that had done this in the first place turned back into the green mist that represented healing chakra. Kagami had black tears streaming down his glowing angelic face, staining his fur that the black tears touched black. Art is mine. I did make it. This is sort of what Kagami's eye area should look like. He looked around at the carnage and he could see the wolves that were still alive were hurt and blood was covering them. Kagami held up his healing chakra and spread it throughout the battlefield, encasing all of the wolves. A pulse of a lighter green pulse throughout the mist, making the chakra the warriors sigh in relief. As the wolves healed, Kagami lifted the dense gravity off of them and let his people get up as they will. Kagami's voice rang out through the battlefield. It was not a shout, however. It almost sounded as if he was talking inside their heads. Look for any survivors. Gather everybody who is alive here. the woodworkers that are still alive. I want you to make carts that can be pulled by the strong. Bring any wounded to me or an alive healer. I want you to report anything of great significance to me. We move at next sunrise. All of the able wolves spread out in search of survivors as the pups that they left with Kagami was waking up. He looked over all of the pups and silently counted them over. Currently, there are only 18 pups that are with him at the moment. The pups looked up at Kagami, and a dirt-coled one spoke with awe shimmering in his eyes. "Are you in goddess?" The other pups made noises of agreement. Kagami smiled down at the pups, making the black tear marks curve a little. "No, I am not. However, you can call me whatever you want." The pups still sat aruck at his beauty. This moment was interrupted by a dark orange-coled wolf running to his side with a panic look upon his face. "Kagami, it's the chief." Quote. Kagami<unk>y's eyes widened. He looked toward another wolf nearby. Stay with them. Kagami ordered as he ran after the dark orange wolf. The wolf led him through the rubble and destruction to the edge of the market. A crow had gathered around. Kagami broke through the crowd, gently pushing, nudging them aside. When he broke through the crowd, he a gasp escaped his mouth as he saw his father gasping for air on his side. Cuts and bruises wear all over him. The worst ones, however, were a large gash in his side was. The gash exposed his rib cage and was filled with dirt. Kagami rushed to his father's side and started to try and heal him. "No, Papa, please stay with me." Kagami pleaded in an unstable voice. Zunold tilted his head a little so that he is able to look at his son better. This is Kagami and bold is Zunou. Kagami? Yes, father. I am here. You're going to be okay. Stay with me. Kagami, you and I both know that I'm not going to make it cough before I die. I want to give you something. Don't talk like that. You're going to be okay. The black tears on Kagami's face multiplied. Kagami. Damn it, boy. Listen to me now. I want to give you the title of chief. Your brothers never wanted the mantle of leader, and I know that you can do it. So, please do te this for me. A and one huff more thing. Go to the tea throne room. Look underneath the throne. Th air. You will find what I've been wanting to give you. All Kagami could do was silently cry for his father. Zunul gasped for more air as he continued. Can I ask of you 2 me more favor before Id die? Anything you want? Kagami choked out a response. Please don't cry for me. And Zuno coughed, making blood splatter on the ground. Could you sing one more song? F me. Kagami could only nod at this point. Zunou laid his head back down as Kagami started to sing. You are my sunshine, Tilda. My only sunshine, Tilda. You make me happy, Tilda. When skies are gray, Tilda, you do not know, dear. Tilda, how much I love why you Tilda, so please don't he take my sunshine away, Tilda. Kagami took a deep breath and stood to his feet. The people who had gathered looked at Kagami with teary eyes. Please cover him in something, then returned to where we agreed to meet up. Kagami then walked away. He arrived at the meeting place where all of the pups are kept. All of the adults were looking upon his arrival for any views since he ran off in search of their king. Kagami stood near the pups before he turned around to face the adults. My father has passed on from this world to join the stars. He has appointed me the new chief. If any of you wish to challenge me, then you will. The wolves around the area's head hung in mourning. No one there wanted to challenge him. Most loved the way that Kagami<unk>s family ruled the village, so most would like to keep it that way. Kagami looked a male wolf that was guarding the wolves that were working on the carriages. Could you please notify everybody to come back to this area? As you wish, my lord. Please just call me Kagami. The wolf ran off to do what Kagami had asked of him. Kagami was still glowing with his tails still being the elements that he possessed. The only thing new about his appearance was the black tear stains running down Kagami's cheeks. He doesn't think those will go away anytime soon. Time passed and tired looking wolves were coming back and laying down to rest. Only a few of the pups with Kagami went to their respective parents. Most looked upon all of the wolves, hoping to somehow find their parent in the crowd. As the wolves fell asleep, one did not. Kagami Kagami wked Muaj his sleeping subjects, finding blankets and putting them with as many pups as possible. He made the shadows carry all of the workers that had passed out from exhaustion to the small area that all of the wolves occupied for the time being. Kagami then returned to the meeting place and sat in the middle. He closed his eyes and used his nature tailed to made wood pillars erect from the ground. They raised to about two times his size before spreading at the top to form a roof. There was no walls on this makeshift shelter and it covered a wide area for the wolves to sleep with protection from the elements. All night, Kagami watched over them, not sleeping a wink in fear of attack and never going out of his elemental transformation in fear of being unprepared. The bear might have done a number on this village, but they haven't seen the last of the Ukami. The sun rose from the horizon and started to wake the animals of the forest. The wolves woke up to a wood structure over their heads, keeping them safe from the elements. The pups found themselves tucked in safely with blankets, and the workers found themselves not where they had slept, but with every other wolf under the protection of the pavilion-like structure above their heads. The wolves got up and looked around the structure. Look. One of the pups breathed out in awe. The wolves also looked in the same direction that the pup was pointing. Nearby was Kagami looking toward the rising sun. His glow was still in place as his nine element tails swished behind him tiredly. Kagami then turned around to look at his awakened people. He walked toward them. Bags noticeable under his eyes. The black stains have darkened on his face overnight, and blood was staining parts of his fur. Over the night, many assassins had come in the middle if the night to try and kill them. However, they were quickly dealt with by Kagami. Kagami had not slept at all. He wanted no know, needed to know that overnight his subjects were well-rested and safe. Did you sleep well? Kagami asked of pups that had gathered around his legs. The pups were running around his legs and play fighting with each other on who was going to answer him. Kagami let out a small chuckle. He then turned serious looking at the adults that are on the search and rescue team. I didn't get to ask you last night, but did you find anybody yesterday? A brown and black wolf replied with, "Yes, sir. We found five pups that have not been claimed as of yet. We found three warriors. Is there any word on the rest of my family?" Some wolves have caught a faint scent on Lady Fubuki. However, we always lose the trail. Kagami sighed. He would have to try and find them himself with his tails as a helping source. But he can't just leave everybody here defenseless. I'm going to have to push our departure to nightfall. Please notify all of the wolves that are able to pull the carts that the workers are going to finish to try and sleep until nightfall. If they are unable to fall asleep fast enough or is there having trouble, bring them to me. He ran off to inform everybody. Kagami sighed. The stress of the job was slowly weighing on him. He needed to do a double check before he leaves for any and all survivors before he moves his people anywhere. Nothing will stop him until he knows that everybody is accounted for that are alive. That is. I will be right back. Kagami said to the pups as he left for outside of the pavilion. He walked a few meters away from it and then started to speak in a language that the others did not understand. Because wolves don't have capability to do hand seals, they can are able to talk the jutsu or if they are skilled or it is a simple jutsu, they can think it and it will be done. For this case, however, it is slightly complicated and therefore he has to speak out the seal. Saspuini amicron ecaros nrates mccria 10 prostatomin. You who are the enemy keep away from the protected. As Kagami finished his sentence, a blue tinted see-through barrier crept up into the air and surrounded the pavilion in a blue dome before disappearing. Though the protective barrier was still there and in use, it is not visible easily, but if you look close enough, you can see a small shimmer. The barrier will let anyone who the caster gives permission to, anyone else would get a small shock and will not be allowed in. Kagami then walked out of the barrier and shifted into a jog towards the place where they said that they had found his mother's scent. Surprisingly, it was extremely close to where the underground safe place was. However, when Kagami went to go and check the underground safe place for his mother when he saw that the entrance was blocked by rubble and fallen rocks, wolves were searching all around him, apparently forgetting the location of the safe place if they don't see it. Kagami focused on his earth tail. This one was the hardest to control for Kagami. Eventually, he got all of the big rocks out of the way. A dust cloud was obstructing his view of the cave and Kagami shut his eyes to avoid any irritation. Once the dust settled, he walked in the cavern. Thankfully, it looks like nothing on the inside was damaged. Kagami pointed his nose into the air and tried to find the scent of any wolf that might be in here. He searched for a second before he found a faint scent on the floor. He followed the trail that was left, twisting through the tunnels and caverns within until he reached the farthest cavern. There he saw his brothers passed out with no visible injuries because of the pelt blankets that covered them from the neck down and the fact that they were both laid on their sides. His mother was sitting next to them. Large bags under her eyes and her fur was stained by blood that was not her own. A couple more wolves wear with her. They were teens by the look of it. Three dead bears were in the room against the walls of the cavern. Fubuki looked up at the newest scent in the room. When she did, her face lit up in happiness. She ran toward him and crashed into him, hugging the life out of him. Moth can't breath. She let go immediately and looked over him. Kagami, what happened to you? Why are you glowing? Why are you taller? Why do you have black marks on your face? Is everybody all right? Where is your father? The last question by his mother made his heart ache and his eyes stain, but he pushed his feelings down. He promised him he wouldn't cry for him anymore. I don't know what you mean. I am stuck in my elemental form. My elemental form I think made me permanently taller. I cry black tears in my elemental form and they stain my skin. Everybody who survived is fine. And Kagami paused the words getting caught in his throat. Kagami braved it and stood with an emotionless face. And sigh I am the new chief. Fubuki's smile slowly faded from her face. Tears now freely spread on her face. Kagami stepped forward and bent his head down, hugging his mother. He told us not to cry. He also told me to find you alive, and I have. I have no time to mourn for father, so please do it for me." He backed up to look at her tear stained face. "I need you to take the uninjured wolves to the middle of town. We have made temporary shelter there. If they ask, tell them I am on my way." She nodded with determination in her eyes. She turned and shouted out orders for any uninjured wolves to move with her. She and the wolves that were sitting nearby left. Now only three wolves were left with kagami. An ash yellow wolf and his brothers. The ash yellow one was awake and was sitting up with a blanket around her shoulders. She was staring into space, probably from trauma. Kagami first walked up to Kay's, his brother that looked like a replica of Bis mother. He removed the blanket and looked his brother over for any injuries. He saw that Kay's had one large bare scratch and a missing eye. Other than that, he was fine, only passed out from exhaustion. He moved on to Arashi. He did the same as he did for Kay's and saw that his front left paw was mauled to pieces and was unfixable by healing. Kagami would have to amputate. Arashi also had his tail bit off halfway and scratch marks near his ribs. Kagami got to work and used his water tail to form an extremely sharp blade of ice. He moved the paw into position and sliced down, slicing the injury off with a clean wound. He when used his nature tail to make a prosthetic from wood that connected to his nerves to that he able to move it. He then wrapped it so that he is unable to move it to allow it to heal. He then healed his tail stubbed halfway to allow it to heal on its own the rest of the way to avoid his body reject the treatment and cause it to rash. He moved on to the last wolf there and sat down in front of her. Hey Yaou, look at me. Eyes on me. Good. Do you have any injuries that I need to be aware of? It took her a second to respond, but thankfully she did. Just in a weak voice. I'm not hurt in any serious way. I'm just a little sore that all and dirty. It took him a second to process what exactly she said, but eventually he got it and smiled a small smile. Very well then. I need you to follow me, please. I will lead you to a temporary safe place. Okay. She nodded again before grabbing his nature tail, grabbing his attention. Are you an angel? He sighed. Why do people ask that? He let out a small smile though. No, I am not. However, I am the new chief. Please don't be intimidated. You can call me what you wish. He smiled and left the bewildered she wolf to process what happened on her own. Kagami used the shadows to have them both onto his back. He grunted a little under the weight. He glowed a little stronger for a second. It faded and started to move like he would any other day moving out of the cave with the shewolf following close behind. Kagami walked back to the pavilion with his brothers on his back. As soon as the civilians saw Kagami in his particular predicament, they ran to help guiding them off his back. Kagami said a thank you before quickly departing, needing to do something before he went to check on his brothers and mother. He walked toward the people working on the carts to see them finished and sleeping. He woke one of them and apologized. I need you to get all of the workers and wake all of the wolves that are pulling the carts as well as saddle them. Are you okay with that? The worker nodded and took off. Kagami sighed and left the area looking for a new wolf with little jobs to trouble. He walked around until he found a guard. Could you rally everyone into the pavilion, please? We are going to be moving out soon. Kagami stood in front of the crowd, his glowing fur catching their attention. Everyone, I know it must be hard to leave the first and only home you have probably ever had. Trust me, I know. But if you stay here, it will be difficult to survive. The bears are going to send more troops, and we might not be as lucky the second time around. The soil is poisoned because of my attack, but it was the only way. And if you don't want to come with me, I will not make you. But please, I only care for the well-being of M people. If we want our children to survive this, then we must move. Any objections? Kagami got no objections to this. However, one did raise a question. Where are we going to go? We have no more allies. Kagami mentally faced Pot himself. He forgot to tell everybody what his plan was. Oh goodness. He sighed once more. Seemed to be doing that a lot lately. We have no other choice but to turn to the humans. The former Hokag was a dear friend of mine and might help us. Konaha is our only choice now. The wolves started to yell in rage, but not for the reason he was expecting. He heard shouts of, "Why go to the people who hurt you? They deserve to die for hurting you. Dirty furless traitors." Kagami yelled out a command to silence them. "Enough. I know they might have hurt me, but I will not let my personal feeling tip my judgment for the betterment of my people. Now, here is the plan. I will separate you into the carts. Everybody has a place. There are 10 carts we are going to have to make do." He breathed out to calm himself. Warriors, you will separate into two groups. One group will always be on the ground. One group walks for an hour and then rests as the other group switches. And as the same, you will take cart 10 and nine. Parents and pups, you will stay in the carts almost the whole time, only coming out for 10 minutes every hour. Surviving parents, I want you to look after the pups in the cart. Treat every single one as if they are your own. They need it. You will take carts eight and seven. Healers and the injured shall take carts 6, 5, and four. You will stay in the carts at all times unless we stop for a break. If you do need to get up, please inform one of the roaming guards to tell me and we can take a small break so that you can stretch your legs. I want all of the food and extra utilities. We might have to go into cart 3. Every other civilian or someone I forgot to mention will go into the carts three and two. Card one will be for anything we might pick up on our way. Benders, I want you to help with path clearing along with food and water distribution. Everyone stay together. I don't want to hear of any fighting. If I do, you answer to me. Let's go. Everyone did as they were told. And noon, everyone was on the move towards the hidden leaf. The sound of crumpling trees and ground reshaping came to the ears of the wolves as they made their own path toward the leaf. They had been walking for many hours, having already gone late into the night. Halt! A sensory wolf guard shouted out. He went over the kagami who was also looking in a certain direction. "Chefi!" He was cut off by kagami. "Yes, I sense it, too." The group waited, looking in the same direction as their glowing chief. The bushes rustled right where the sensory wolf and the chief were staring. Everyone tensed, ready for battle. However, what emerged from the bushes was a small child, no older than eight, out of the bushes. He looked scared and lost, only having the cloths on his back and his PJs on. The boy had spiky brown hair with a pair of light yellow shirt and gray pajama pants along a blue scarf hanging from his neck. His shirt had a red Konaha symbol. First three people to guess get mentioned in the next chapters. He looked around before looking at his wideeyed. Before the kid could react, the warriors were surrounding him, growling at full force. Enough. Bring him to me. He is only a child. The guards calmed themselves, walking back to the group. However, they kept a close eye on him. One of the guards stayed by him and nudged him forward toward me. Take a small break, everybody. I yelled out to the group as I took the small child by his shirt and laid him down against my now laying form. He only looked more scared but was too terrified to say anything. I know I glow but still breath child. I mean you no harm. What are you doing out here alone? I know you're from Konaha where are your family? I said to him pulling my head down to his level. He let out a huge breath of relief and spoke. I wanted to prove to my grandpa that I am a true shinobi and I can stay a night in the cold but I ended up getting lost and now I can't find Konaha anymore. I gave him a look before I sighed and pick him up once more. sitting him on my back. I started to walk back to the little area that everyone had made for themselves to rest. I don't know how you did it, child, but you managed to get lost so badly that Konaha is a two-day walk from here. So, you will travel with us. We are in our way to make a deal with your Hokage. My name is Kagami, and I am the chief of my people. If you need anything, tell me or ask one of the adults. I almost forgot. What is your name, child? I asked, turning my head slightly to look at him. He seemed to hesitate before saying, "My name is Konahamaru, Chief." Kagami chuckled slightly, picking him up and putting I am in the cart with the pups. "Please just call me Kagami." Kagami's pav. I had put the small child, Konahimaru, with the sleeping pups. I turned to one of the den mothers that were taking care of the pups for the group who was giving me a questioning look. I smiled at her and said, "He got lost from his human den to try and prove something to a human very close to him. I need to make sure the pups don't eat him by accident, please. If you could take him to me when they wake, I would be grateful. She responded to me with, "Yes, Chief Kagami Sama." I only smiled. Please just call me Kagami. Very well, Kagami Sama. I then walked away then. I needed to set up a barrier around everyone so that they can sleep without worry. Before I could go to do that, however, a healer, my mother to be exact, came running up to me with a panicked expression. Kagami pup. Kay's just woke up. That was all I needed to come running toward the healers. I could see my older brother a little ways away heaving for breath on the ground in the cold night. A warm fur blanket was over him, keeping him warm in nearered him as the others cleared the way for me and my mother. Kay's looked toward me, hazel eyes reflecting moonlight. "Kagami?" he asked in a shaky voice, trying and failing to sit up. I went around him sitting beside him so that I could lean his head on my body making him comfortable. "Yes, brother, I am here." I responded, letting his now smaller body to lean against mine. "Why are you glowing? What happened to you? The look in your eyes. Is something wrong?" he asked in quick succession. I chuckled just like mother. Please don't waste breath. K's I will answer all of your questions when Arashi wakes. No use in repeating myself, but for now you need rest. He looked at me with an expression of irritation before looking away and muttering. I thought I was older. I chuckled again and laid my head down on the ground. Around my brother, my tails turned from the elements back into their normal look. Although the glowing continued, "Can I not shift back?" I put those thoughts away as I let my brother drift to sleep. As soon as his breathing slowed, I shift him carefully of me. I could not rest yet. My people depend on me. I will rest when my people are safe and sound. As I started to leave, my mother pulled on one of my tails, getting my attention. I turned around to find a worried expression, only for it to turn into anger. I thought you were going to sleep for once. You haven't slept in 4 days, and I'm getting worried. Please just rest, even if it's for an hour at the least." She said to me, her face turning softer as she finished. I sighed and turned around, looking her in the eyes with my own. I will know. Cannot rest until my people are safe and are in a location that they can feel safe in. Mother, I respect your kind words, but I refuse your offer. That was all I said before turning around, leaving my mother with my sleeping brothers. I'm sorry, Mom. I can't right now. I have too much to do. I had just finished the barrier around the area the group had made for themselves. We had been walking straight toward Konaha for about 2 days now. As I started to walk back to the group to keep watch, my legs gave out on me and I collapsed to the ground. My body was shaking and my stomach was churning with pain. I quickly brought my elemental tails out and rested my healing tail toward myself, healing anything that might have been wrong with me. After a moment, I stood with difficulty and healed myself a bit more before I felt normal enough to feel okay. The rest of the night went by with no difficulty, aside from fighting off my sleep deprivation. I was sitting alone in an unoccupied part of the clearing with my eyes closed, spreading my senses out wide to sense any intruders that might be close. It was morning now, and I could hear the rustling of the active wolves and she wolves that were about. By now, almost all of the adults were awake. The pups, however, were not. I could hear the footsteps of a wolf coming near to my location. I opened my eyes to see a small black adult male carrying Konahamaru in his muzzle. If I recall correctly, the wolf is one of the parents. As he came nearer, the wolf dropped Konahamaru onto the ground and spoke to me as Konahamaru ran my way. He is awake, sir. I have brought him here as you requested. I nodded and thanked him as he left, also telling him to notify everybody to get ready to walk again. I looked on at Konahamaru. He was looking at the leaving wolf with fear in his eyes. He was hiding in my tails, only peeking at the wolf. I picked him up and laid down and laid him against my stomach. I then laid my head on my paws and spoke. "Are you okay? I don't think they meant to harm you." He just nodded and started to relax. I just laid there with him, listening to his breathing. When he was finally relaxed, I got up. I picked him up and placed him on my back, walking toward the large group. Third person pav. Everyone was gathered and ready to go. Waiting for their leader's word. Kagami called out for everyone to start toward Konaha once more and joined the front of the herd, making sure they went in the right direction. They walked for many hours. Only a few things happened, all were small, like avoiding random civilians and main roads. Kagami was talking to one of pups that joined him at the front of the line for a few minutes whilst the pups were on walk minutes. They were talking about the history of the pup's family as forggers when Kagami<unk>s legs collapsed underneath him, throwing Konahamaru off of him. "Not now," Kagami Whisper yelled to himself as a small stream of blood trickled down his muzzle. He could hear the guards up front start to yell for medics and for everybody to stop moving. Kagami looked over at his side and could see the medics trying their best to find out what wrong. Kagami's elemental form's self-healing ability kick in. combined it with his healing tail being forced to his back by one of the medics. He was fine in a second. Kagami was shaking. His strength was waning from him and he collapsed to his side in the ground. Kagami was panting. The attacks always scared him. He had to admit that. Is Konahimaru okay? Kagami asked in a weak voice. The weak voice of their leader surprised them at first. However, they recovered quickly as one said. Don't worry about the human, worry about yourself. She then turned to one of the guards. Get his mother and tell everybody to rest for now. Someone get a blanket or something useful to lift the chief to a bed. Everyone hesitated for a second, contemplating whether or not to follow her orders. Now everyone started to move around, shouting orders and why they had stopped again. The shewolf that had shouted orders and yelled at Kagami was light yellow with dark yellow speckles, freckles around her eyes and muzzle. Kagami<unk>s eyes started to wne to a close, but the shewolf made him stay awake a little longer. Come on, chief. Stay awake a little longer. Why didn't you sleep? She asked him, waiting for the people to return. He answered her with a weak and tired voice. I needed to make sure my people were safe. Something like sleep could be put aside until you all were all able to sleep without my barrier to protect you. Her eyes softened a little. The circle of keeping Kagami awake and using his power to keep him healthy continued. Fubuki ran up to the two. A panicked expression on her face once again. Kay and Arashi followed behind, limping. Other than that, fine. Their expression soon matched their mothers when they saw Kagami's condition. What happened here? Fubuki yelled to anybody who was going to answer her. The yellow she wolf answered for the small crowd that had gathered. The chief has not slept since the attack, not even for a minute. He has had a sleepdeprived induced attack because his organs were in a continuous loop of regeneration and degradation. If he would have slept, then he is going to be okay by tomorrow morning. When she finished, she then stopped Kagami from sleeping once more. Or she grew angry at this. If he is sleepdeprived and needs sleep, then why in the name of Ukami are you keeping him from sleeping? The yellow female only slightly glared at him. If he goes to sleep in the state he in, then he will fall into an organ failure induced coma. Then we won't have a competent leader. Lady Fubuki is grief struck. Sir Kay is cowardly. And you, sir, have a temper that could destroy us all with your unwise decisions. Now, please let me do my job, my lord. She then turned around and slapped Kagami with her tail as he was about to fall asleep. The family just stood in shock until the voice of Konahimaru broke them out of their stuper. Kagami. The boy was crying full out and was running toward the chief. He had blood trailing down his face, but nobody thought that he noticed. He ran to Kagami's face that was laid on the ground, hugging the muzzle. The boy started to ramble on about something that the wolves would not make out. Arashi rushed to his kid brother's side, making Kagami as comfortable as possible, only worsening Kagami's desire to sleep. Kay and Fubuki hovered nervously around him, keeping him awake by talking to him. Son, I knew you hadn't gotten much sleep, but I didn't think that it was this bad. I'm sorry I didn't pay attention. Your father's death was hard on us, everyone. But you stepped up and took the mantle of chief when your family were too cowardly or too injured. You made all of the right decisions to make sure your people stayed alive. Thank you so much, my son. By the end, Fubuki was crying and hugging the exhausted Kagami. Kagami just croked out an "It's okay, Mom." She just cried more. In all of the years that she had made him her son, she had always called her mother or chieft sama around guests. The yellow wolf waited a few seconds before separating the family from Kagami to move him towards somewhere where they could operate quickly. After Kagami was set on top of the blanket to be moved by a few guards, the yellow female barked orders. water elementals and non- busy healers. We have an emergency case. Come with me." They quickly moved Kagami to a setup large tent. Before she left, however, Fubuki asked the yellow she wolf's name. The mentioned female only quickly turned and shouted in a hurried manner, Yaano. before hurrying after the weakened body of their leader. After many grueling hours of the healers and water benders healing Kagami's failing organs, whilst the some of the healers had done a surgery to clear all of the painful, deteriorated organs of infection, they had finally been done. Kagami was as healthy as he could be. All they needed Kagami to do was sleep. Within the hours of work, a crowd had gathered outside the tent, waiting for the news, whether it be good or bad. The tired wolves who had helped Kagami stepped out of the tent to be greeted by the crowds many questions. Yosa was having none of this, however, because she yelled to the crowd to get their attention. Once everyone was listening, she spoke. Lord Kagami sama is going to be just fine. We treated him, and once he gets better, which will be very soon, we will move once again. If any of you have any questions that I could possibly answer, please ask me now, anytime else, and I don't want anything to do with you. One of the civilians padded forward and asked what was wrong with Kagami sama that made him so ill. Yosa just sighed and started explain whilst she sat down exhausted because of the surgery. Lord Kagami sama had not slept since the attack. He had been staying awake during the night to expand his senses and put up a barrier. And at day he was always looking for enemies. Because of his lack of sleep, his organs had started to fail. But because he is a selfless leader, he had been using his healing abilities to keep his body going much longer than it was supposed to. Sooner rather than later, his organ failure caught up with him. He is now going to be just okay as long as he sleeps, and he will be up in no time, ready to be our leader once again. Everybody could practically feel the sigh of relief that swept through everyone. After a few moments, everyone had gone back to what they had been doing. When Yosa looked back at all of the medics that had gathered together to heal their leader and frowned, all of them were either panting on the ground, trying not to pass out or already passed out. She then wobbled a bit, the surgery exertion catching up to her. Her world then started to go black, but not before her own pup had ran up to her and tackled her into a deep sleep. Kagami woke with a start, his body sore. He looked around and realized that he was in the healer's tent. He made a groaning sound because of his sore body, catching the attention of a healer, asking another patient if they needed anything. Lord Kagami, you're awake. The wolf was light brown and was a male. He rushed to his leader side in an attempt to stop the now standing wolf. Yes, I am awake. How many hours have I been asleep? Is everybody okay? Kagami asked the brown wolf. The wolf Kagami was talking to side and started to reply. Lord Kagami, please take it easy. And to answer your questions, you have been asleep for three days, not hours. And yes, everyone is doing just fine. Lady Fubuki is having a little bit of a hard time trying to get everyone in order, but we are fine. Kagami got up with success and walked out the door. After a few minutes of searching for his mother, as well as receiving many wolves celebrating that he was back, he finally found her. She was being thoroughly confused by a multiple of people asking her many questions all at the same time. The fur around her eyes had grown a bit darker, meaning that she had bags under her eyes. Fubuki then spotted Kagami and ran forward with a relieved expression that soon turned to disbelief. As she said, "I don't know how you and your father do this on a day-to-day basis." Kagami chuckled at his mother. The wolves that had been questioning his mother still continued their relentless questioning. Kagami then decided to intervene. Enough. If you have any questions or comments that you wish to speak, then do so now one at a time. They looked to Muaj themselves to see who would speak first. One light gray wolf with black eyes stepped forward. I would like to know what your plan is for the fur less if they decide to attack. Kagami answered swiftly and without hesitation. The children and injured will be with the earth bender at all times so that if they do attack, the earth benders will take them underground and away from the conflict via underground tunnels that would made. While that is being done, all able fighters are going to fight off attackers. But I don't think that will ever come to pass because of our sealers who have a contact activated barrier that is always up around us. The wolf looked stunned for a second before bowing and leaving. After relentless questioning, Kagami got the group moving as he talked with the guards and Konahimaru who were informing him of the minor events that took place the past 3 days. After a few hours, it had turned dark, the twinkling galaxies above providing the light that they needed to continue. The pact continued on without stop for another hour. The trees had started to thin, and before they knew it, they had found a clearing. A small lake emerged beside the clearing, reflecting the bright galaxies above and looking more like a Milky Way than a lake. The group stood in shock at the beauty before the excited squeals, and the children brought them to attention again as they ran to the water and jumped in, splashing and playing with each other in the colorful liquid galaxies. The adults looked to their leader, gaining his attention. "What are you waiting for permission? Go ahead," he explained with a warm smile. Many of the adults joined in with the children running into the lake with them, laughing and giggling with each other as they splashed and splashed each other. Sooner rather than later, everybody had dropped the carts inside the clearing and joined in with the fun. Kagami, however, had not. He was sitting by the lake overlooking everybody having fun and laughing. He looked up at the full moon, shining bright like always, old friend. You were always there for me to calm my being every time I felt sadness in my heart. and now you are bringing everyone together with your beauty. Thank you. Kagami then looked down at everybody playing and smiling to each other. He then caught the attention of a group of girls including his mother who were looking at him in a mischievous manner. They lurked toward him with the expressions at their faces. He was confused for a second before his thoughts clicked into place. He back up, the hairs of the back of his neck raising. No, no, you are not doing this right now. The girls smiles widened as some males joined them as well. The wolves then jumped out of the water. The girls grabbed his tails and the males lifted his onto their backs and threw him into the water, cackling as they also joined him in the water. Kagami emerged from underwater and just swam there for a second before slowing joining in on the laughter, giggling and laughing with everyone. He then joined in on the fun, playing with pups and many others, as well as rejecting UAL displays from males and females. He was laughing in the water, playing with the pups that were hanging onto his tails. When he glanced at the shore, he saw the injured looking lonely and sad as they looked upon everyone in the water. Kagami immediately stopped and got out of the water. Kagami walked toward the group of injured wolves, his elemental tails starting to appear again. His healing tail started to glow and his black tear stains on his face stained just a little darker. A healing mist went around the injured, making them momentarily glow a light green. After the glow faded from existence, and Kagami<unk>s elemental tails faded, the glow from the transformation still present. The injured felt no pain. They felt as if they were as good as new. Kagami smiled at the lot. "It won't last forever, but I wanted you to join us for the night. You looked lonely." They just stared at him. "Well, go ahead," Kagami exclaimed with a smile on his face. The group sprang to their feet and joined everyone in the lake. As soon as the group was in the pool, Kagami fell onto the ground, exhausted at the exchange. Can't do something like that without a price. A tired smile graced his face as he watched everyone start to relax in the water. He could see Konahamaru by himself on the shore looking out toward the wolves. Kagami used his nature tail to bring the child toward him and let him rest against his stomach. This past week that Konahimaru was with them, the Ukamis have grown to love the child as their own, caring for him, protecting him, feeding him, grooming him. No boundaries were between them anymore. Konahimaru had been told stories and tales of the Ukami, including the tale of how Kagami became a Ukami from a human. That story was the most recent one told to him. The story got Konahamaru thinking. He also wanted to join the family of four. He wanted to play and feed with the other Ukamis. To him, the Ukamis were the only ones who had shown him true affection. His grandfather was busy being Hokag because of the fourth retiring because he had more children with Kosa and Kusha had become a shinobi once again. His parents were dead and his uncle was a busy shinobi and the rest of the village never called him by his name. Only honorable grandson or Lord Third's grandson. He hated it. Only the wolves had ever shown him true love. What's wrong, Konahimaru? You look lonely. Kagami<unk>s voice startled him out of his trance. He looked up at the large nine-tailed wolf. He opened his mouth to say something to Kagami, but it got caught in his throat. He took a deep breath before trying again with his sentence. I I no. The story told me got me t thinking. I www. Konahimaru stopped mid-sentence. The sentence caught in his throat once more. Konahimaru's heartbeat was thuting loudly in Kagami<unk>s ears. He's scared. Kagami wrapped his muzzle against him to calm him down. Say what you want to Konahamaru. It's okay. Calm down. After a few minutes, the boy calmed himself enough to speak to the giant wolf. I want to be one of the Ukami. You are the only ones who have ever shown me true love. And D. At the end, Konahamaru started to cry, the fear of rejection eating at his heart. Kagami was struck frozen with shock. He never had never thought that a human who had known him for only one week had said that to him. Kagami thought of Konahamaru as a little brother. He loves Konahamaru with all of his heart. His mother loves Konahimaru as well. His older brothers were also warming up to Konahamaru. Kagami was broken out of his thoughtful days to the squirming of Konahimaru trying to run from him. Kagami immediately sprang to action, grabbing Konahimaru by his scarf, pulling him back to his lying form. Kagami then held the squirming child with his muzzle. After the squirming stopped, Kagami started to speak. I will not deny your request for I love you as a brother with his sibling. I want to grant your request and make you one of our own. However, you also have a people, and my people are in no condition, and if we partake in the ritual, then we could all possibly die or be seriously injured because of our lack of resources. Konahimaru looked kind of sad until Kagami continued. However, after the Ukami are in a stable condition, then I shall talk to my family about adding you as a member. At this, Konahimaru jumped with joy, running about and shouting with glee. After a few seconds of that, Konahimaru got pulled into the lake by a few of the pups, laughing and giggling with each other, while Kagami sat alone and gazing over his people who seemed to be happy and smiling for the first time in a long time. Kagami then smiled, "Thank you, Cammy, for the gift you have granted my people. The Ukamis trudged toward the village, hidden in the leaves. All were quite tired from their journey to the leaves. The sun was high above the horizon, tiring them with every waking moment. Kagami was leading them all, glowing coat of white and yellow shining and glistening with sweat as his tongue hung out of his mouth, trying and failing at cooling him from the heat. You see, the Yukami have not dropped their winter coats yet. Due to the Yukami living in a place where winter changes to summer at a different date, everyone was suffering from the heat because of their winter coats still being present and their bodies just now have started to realize the climate change. Uggh. Kagami Sama, could you and the water benders please do something about this heat? Kagami heard a small voice of a pup running beside him say. Then Kagami mentally faced palmed. He could do something about the heat all along. Kagami found a trick a few days before and had been training when everyone was settled for a break. Kagami raised all of his temporary normal tails up. He concentrated for a second, making all of his tails turned to his water elemental form. He then focused and all of his tails turned into a ice mist from the coldness of the tails slowly coming from the nine tails. Kagamine then willed the tails to release a mist that would drop the temperature of the air it hits. The mist wafted behind him, followed by many sighs of relief coming from the wolves behind him. However, there was one problem. Kagami was still sweating like crazy. Kagami's mist had not reached himself because of the fact that he is still moving, wafting the most behind him. Still panting like a dog on a holiday, Kagami halted everyone and let them rest in a field that was littered with large scratch marks and large burn marks. A training ground near Konaha. Kagami sighed mentally. He then turned toward the edge of the clearing and erected a barrier around the training ground. He let everyone settle around the now elementary transformed water benders that had caught on to what Kagami was doing and had done the same. Kagami then grabbed Konahimaru, placing him on his back before Kagami walked to somewhere suitable to start talking to the group of under 400. He stood and he started to speak. Attention everyone, I need to speak with you all. We have reached Konaha. It will be dangerous to leave this barrier. So stay inside the barrier and it should protect you. I am going to return Konahimaru to his guardian now. Please do not follow me. And with that, Kagami walked out of the barrier with Konahimaru on his back. After a second, Konahimaru started to have a fit, wailing about how he didn't want to go back. He struggled on Kagami<unk>s back so much, in fact, Kagami had to hold him with his muzzle, making him dangle by his clothes in Kagami's muzzle. Kagami ignored him. however, and made another barrier around himself. After a few minutes, however, he reached civilization. He didn't falter, however, and walked straight toward the market. Screams could be heard, and shouts of Kaobi and honorable grandson could be heard. The rubbing of Kune and jutsu could be heard. However, Konahimaru and Kagami were unharmed by the attacks. Kagami paid them no attention and put Konahimaru on his back once again as his whales turned into small sniffles. He continued slowly walking through the village until a yellow flash and a white robed man appeared in his attention. Kagami stopped walking and stared at them both, eyeing them to make sure his memory does not fail him. They gave him confused looks as he stopped to stare at them both. Manato looked looked on edge, thinking an attack may come to pass. However, the third Hoag looked not confused, but perplexed like he was not expecting my kind here. Ser Toby came up to the barrier calm like he wanted to talk much to the disagreement of Manado. Serbi stopped right before the barrier started and started to speak. What are you doing here? You look exhausted. Please relax. Before Kagami could reply to Hisen. Manato interrupted. Why are you talking to an animal? It won't reply back. He interrupted in a snarky tone. Before Hien could reply back with an angered response. Kagami spoke up. Has time made you ignorant, manato namakazi? I expected as much from a human such as yourself. He then turned to Hiazen. I'm apologized for the interruption. I am Kagami Ukami, youngest son of Zuna Lukami and current Ukamage of my people. Kagami introduced to the third. He looked Kagami in the eyes before slightly gasping before quickly hiding his expression and continued with the flow of the conversation. I am Hien Seru Tobi, the third Hokag of Konaha. Back to my original question. What are you doing in Konahau Kamakage? What has happened to Zuno? Kagami held back his tears at the recurring memories. I love you. Take care of your mother. He shook his head to get rid of the memories. He would grieve later. I apologize. An attack on my village happened around 2 weeks ago, killing almost 9/10 of the population because it was a surprise attack. It killed my father and severely injured my brothers, forcing me to take the mantle of Ukamage. Even though I dislike you humans after what you have done, I was forced to take my people here, I trusted they would be safe with the third Hokag. A trusted ally of my father would help us. I had no choice. I request temporary shelter and resources until we are able to get back on our four feet. Kagami stood there waiting for an answer from the third. Konahamaru sleeping soundly on his back. The third hoag thought for a minute before you started to speak to Kagami. I agree to your terms. I will allow you to stay here with your people until you are back on. Um 4 feet. Also, may I ask you two questions? Kagami nodded and Manato rolled his eyes. I have only seen eyes like those on one other person, and he has gone missing around 9 years ago. Do you perhaps know a name called Narut? Kagami flinched slightly, however, just shook his head. No. The third then asked another hurried question. I know you just got here. However, could you please help me find my grandson? He has gone missing over a week ago and I am worried sick. Kagami then remembered that is the second reason I had come to your village. He then pulled the sleeping Kona from his back making Hisen gasp and held out his arms. Kagami led him inside the barrier and dropped him into the waiting arms of the third Hokag. I think he is yours. Kagami lifted Konahamaru down into the waiting arms of the third Hokag, the man grabbing him as soon as his was in his grasp. The third dropped to his knees with the sleeping Konahamaru in his grasp. Hien looked back up at the large wolf leader happiness and relief flooding his features. Where did you find him? The third practically whispered to the giant wolf. Kagami sat down on the ground, the barrier still placed safely around the three. The Ukamage then looked at Hiazen. Renegonike eyes stared him down before sighing. Not here. Let me bring you somewhere where we can talk in a more private setting. Kagami said looking around at the people around him. Of course, the sandame said as he was allowed to climb on the back of the Ukamage. Then much to the protests of the former Yandami and the Shinobi, Kagami took of into a run. Kagami traveled up the mountain that was beside the village that held all of the heads of their Hokag. He ran and ran until they had finally reached the top of the third hoage's head. Kagami's run slowed to a steady and calm walk. He let Konohamaru and Hisen down before sitting with a very strict posture like he was taught by his brother to do around authority figures of high stature. The lot sat in silence for a few minutes, admiring the view of the setting son's view. Kagami then broke the comfortable silence that had fell. I won't be prideful about this agreement when I say that my people need your help. I can and will bend to any of your terms as long as it doesn't affect my people in any shape or form. All we need is a place to stay where we will be protected and possibly food if you don't want the animal population to drop around your home. Do you agree to a treaty, a strong alliance between our people? Kagami then sat in silence with the third at his side, contemplating for only a moment before he spoke. I agree with your treaty, Kagami Dono. I will participate in a treaty. You have saved my grandson, and I am forever grateful. My only terms are that I ask you to watch this year's Tunin exams with me, as well as help Shinobi get to missions that are far away, as well as answer all of my questions that you deem suitable to answer. Kagami response to Hisen was almost immediate. That is a small price for your help. I agree to your terms. Hopefully, we can make a lasting alliance between our people if this trial alliance deems to be beneficial. Kagami said straightfaced and waiting for a response. It is plausible. Now, a question. Why haven't you given up yet? Why have you kept persevering even when all of your odds were against you? Kagami tensed slightly with the question, not going unnoticed by her. Kagami looked out toward the setting sun before relaxing his tense shoulders and speaking. I had been led down in the beginning of my life by people who decided that I was not worth persevering. And therefore, I wanted to be the opposite of the people who have wronged me so. And therefore, I will not give up on my people. Even if it costs me my life, my people come first. Even through these hard times, I remember what my father once said to me. I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than I was yesterday. I live up to those words now. And that, Serbi, Dono, is why I haven't given up on my people. Here isn't sat in shocked silence. Never had he heard of someone as selfless as the Ukamage that stood before him this night. This person was selfless to the point that he stepped into a village that could possibly attack all by himself so that his people could stay safe from harm's way. This person reminded him of someone that had disappeared many years ago suddenly and without warning. Nar, where have you gone? Tears welled in Hisan's eyes just thinking about his adoptive grandson. He was so young when he disappeared. But the harsh reality that had ripped through his old bones was that he was most likely dead. And that was what had truly brought tears to his eyes. Adding to his grief, the council would not let him make a grave for him on Kona his land. And therefore, Nar had only a secret memorial picture of the one time he smiled for the camera, stuck inside a frame and surrounded by nature such as plants and small trees, as well as flowers of all kind, because he knew that he loved nature. Hi's tears escalated into soft sobs that caught the ear of a certain wolf, making Kagami turned his head only to see him crying. Konahimaru still sleeping softly in his arms. Kagami was startled for a second at the sight before quickly wrapping himself around the man to quell his tears, but to no avail. Why are you crying here? Isn't the mons sobs stopped for a moment before he replied, "I'm sorry, Kagami Dono, but you remind me of someone whom I have lost very long ago." T. They wouldn't even let me build him a grave. You have the same eyes, you know. They stayed in tearfilled silence. What was his name? Kagami asked him, fearing that he already knew the answer to his question. Here isn't wiped some of his tears and then spoke with a quietness to his voice because of his tears only moments before. His name was Narut. Kagami flinched. He was my adoptive grandson. He was said to have died around 10 years ago. I am sorry for troubling you with such an appearance. Kagami curled around him a little tighter, trying to calm his fast beating heart because of the anxiety about being this close to his adoptive grandfather after so long. Do not worry, please, Hisen. The third turned towards the giant wolf. What if I told you that Nar is alive? Hi's eyes widened in shock. His heartbeat stopped for a moment, thinking over what he said. What was his oh so intelligent response? Kagami looked away from the eyes of the man he called calls Gigi. He is alive and not as far as you think. Kagami looked her in the eyes. Gigi. Serbi's eyes were glued to the figure of the Ukamic. The gears in his head working on overdrive. Trying to fathom what was just told to him. Naru too. Kagami smiled the best a wolf kid. His white sharp canines coming into view. The black tears that was caused by his transformation had come again, but this time they were tears of happiness. You finally figured it out, Gigi. For a second, Kagami, Narut reverted to his four-year-old self once more in Hiazen's eyes. Anbuin practically whispered, and Anbu appeared almost immediately. Here held Konahamaru up to the woman Anbu who had appeared. Take him home, please. His voice was barely above a whisper as he said those words. The ambu did as she was told, taking Konahamaru and disappearing in a puff of smoke. As soon as the ambu left, Kagami was enveloped in a hug. The third was hugging his neck. Kagami hugged him back with his muzzle, feeling his warmth warm his Gigi. "How did you survive? How did you come back from the dead?" Hi asked in a whisper. Kagami just let Hien get comfortable while sitting on his tails, the mons back resting against his stomach. The villagers had attacked me, injuring my eyes. Kurama had healed my eyes. However, my blood had dried and had glued my eyes shut. Using my chakra, I had to run from the village because I had nowhere to go. I had run so far. I didn't know where I had gone. However, I needed to get away. I had traveled far. I was then tackled to the ground by Ukami. I didn't fight them as they threatened to kill me, but they didn't. They took me to the previous Ukamic Zunal. Zunul had taken a liking to me in my unique eyes. He and his family then performed the merging process on me. Unfortunately, the merging process had turned my fur white and had merged Kurama to my form. His consciousness is dormant in the seal. I could probably use his chakra with practice and training. Only when I die and Kurama reforms will he turn back to normal, reforming his chakra back to his shape. For the next 8 years, I lived with the Ukami family. They loved me unlike Manato and Kusha had ever done. I was surveying the market when the bears attacked the village, destroying everything in their wake. I had never seen such rage with a slaughter. They spared no one. Those who didn't seek protection from a warrior or fought for themselves were killed where they stood. A painful mauling by the bears. I stood in the middle of it all. Everyone who had survived that long had formed a ring of protection around a group of pups that had just been out for a stroll after a successful hunt. I was fighting with all my might. However, my normal best was not enough. I knew it was risky, but I did it. I transformed into my elemental transformation. Black tears dripped down my face because of my fallen brethren. I made the gravity increase and floored everyone for their safety. And in a move of pure instinct, I had poisoned every single bear in the village. Their flesh melted from their bones and fell to the ground. The liquefied flesh of my enemies returned to me and surrounded my one normal tail, turning it into the shadows of their souls, ready for me to command. Quote, "Kag my side," his own tears flowing down his face in trickles of black. I slaughtered them all, none returning to their own families that they had back at their own village. However, I could not think about that at the moment. I took charge of the people who were left alive and rallied everyone so that we could departure from that place. I was informed of my father and I ran to him only to find him dying in my weak grasp. He said his last words appointing me as the new ukamag and then he was gi. I found my mother only hours after with my injured brothers. After that I spent a week making sure everyone is safe and then we departed from the place everyone called home. We traveled to Konaha picking up Konahamaru on the way. He had stumbled through the treeine somehow traveling a few days journey away all by himself in only a day. We came to love him as our own as he traveled with us. Our journey had taken us a week because of our luggage and our condition. We made it to a training ground near the village and set up camp. I had formed a barrier around them just in case this trip did not go to plan. And the rest of it you should already know. Kagami sighed once more. the weight from his sins position slowly lifting off of his shoulders. The third sat in silence at his story. So much had happened in a span of eight years. How far he had matured from the little boy who would yell at him saying one day he would become Hokag. Narut, you have matured a lot from the child I once knew. Kagami flinched at the name and spoke after closing his eyes. Gigi, I know that's the name you have always known me by, but could you please call me by my name? It's<unk> Kagami. I wish not to be called by the name that those evil humans who birthed me. My real parents named me Kagami and therefore I want to be called as such. Kagami said as he looked at Hisen whose head was turned to the horizon. A look of understanding crossed his face as he replied. I understand Kagami. You know Manato and Kusha had changed dramatically after your death. They had grown to hate themselves. They had another child promising that they would treat this child better than any other. However, in their determination to love this child, they have forgotten your twin, Mido. Oh, and don't forget Kakashi, Aruka, Tui, and Ayame, they were heartbroken. They all couldn't work for a full two months before they just barely got back to work. Kagami nodded his eyes becoming ones of sadness and rage until Kagami realized something, a story he had always wondered about when he was younger. Gigi, here isn't looked to Kagami. Yes, Kagami looked to him as well. I just remembered something from when I was younger. How did you survive the reaper death seals effects? That should have killed you. Here is chuckled slightly. Have you ever wondered how I knew the Ukami or your Ukami parents? Kagami's face dawned in realization, but let Hiazen continue. After I died, I had been taken back to the Yukami village by Fubuki, who was on a mission at the time, and took me back with her. Your mother is a truly kind soul, Kagami. She had performed a secret technique that called upon the Shinagami for a conference of sorts. From what I had heard from some who witnessed, they had talked for over 3 hours, and eventually the Shinagami gave me back my soul in return for her company in the afterlife because of how entertaining she was, even to the point of making him laugh. They had to take care of me for a few weeks because of how long I have died for before I was resurrected. After I was back to full health, I told them where I had come from and said I was a friend to their kind, no matter what my origin was. And from then, I had only seen them twice before I was caught by the council, and I could no longer go there without an ambu trailing me. I didn't want the Ukami to be found. So, I stopped going to them. When the third was done telling his story, Kagami was calm, sitting there with a mature look on his features. He felt no rage, no sorrow, no vengeful nature. All he was is calm. Then he got up looking at the night sky above. It's getting late. Gigi, I think I better take you home. Hi made no protest as he climbed onto Kagami's back, riding all the way back and at a leisurely walk. Once they got to the mansion that was the hoage's home, Kagami let him down carefully. The third walked up only a few steps before he was stopped by Kagami<unk>s voice. Hokag Dono what I have told you has to be kept a secret unless said otherwise. Do you understand? Here is and nodded a smile on his face. Of course, Ukamage Dono, I will not breath a word. I will see you tomorrow. Kagami stood straight with a small smile on his face and then they parted ways. That's all for now. If you enjoy then please like, share and do comments.
