My dear friends, welcome to this month of April. A month that has long been a symbol of opening, blooming, and divine breakthrough. The very word April comes from the Latin Aparia, which means to open. And what a profound truth that carries for us in this season. God is opening doors. God is opening heavens. God is opening hearts that have long been closed. But April is not merely a calendar designation. This is resurrection month. This is the season when Christrysendom remembers the greatest breakthrough in human history. When the stone was rolled away. When death itself was defeated. When the grave could not hold the king of glory. And my friends, this is not just ancient history that we commemorate. The power of the resurrection is alive. It is present. It is available to you. and to me today. I want you to understand something as we enter this month. We do not worship a god who speaks about dead things remaining dead. We do not serve a god who is bound by circumstances or limitations or what the natural eye perceives as impossible. The god we serve is the god who speaks to dry bones and commands them to live. The God we serve is the God who looks at a sealed tomb and declares, "Not in the future, but now, come forth." And the dead obey. The God we serve is the God of unprecedented supernatural divine resurrection power. Romans 6:4 declares, "We are buried with him by baptism into death. that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. My dear friends, do you hear what this is saying? You are not meant to walk in the same cycles of defeat and repetition. You are meant to walk in newness of life. In April, in this resurrection season, God is calling you out of old patterns, old thinking, old ways of being. Look around you in the natural world. Spring has arrived in full bloom. The trees are putting on their robes of green. The flowers are pushing up through soil that months ago seemed frozen and impossible. The birds are singing their boldest songs and all of nature is testifying to the power of God. That what was dormant awakens. What was hidden emerges. What seemed dead is alive. This is not an accident. This is not mere meteorological coincidence. This is God writing his eternal truth across the canvas of creation itself saying to your heart, "What I did in nature, I am doing in you." Now, I want to speak to you about divine timing. Because April is not just about resurrection in the abstract. April is about resurrection in its season. Habach 2:3 says, "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie. Though it tar, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry." My friends, there are things in your life that have waited a long season. There are promises that have been spoken over you that have seemed to delay. There are dreams that you have carried in your heart that have not yet manifested in the natural realm. And in this month of April, I am declaring that many of those things are coming to their appointed time. But here is what I want you to understand. Divine timing is not the same as divine delay. When God does not move according to our timeline, it does not mean God is not moving. It means God is orchestrating something far greater than we can see. It means God is removing obstacles we do not even know exist. It means God is preparing the soil of our hearts so that when the breakthrough comes, it does not destroy us but transforms us. This is why the cross came before the resurrection. This is why the crucifixion preceded the empty tomb. The principle is this. Surrender comes before breakthrough. Surrender comes before resurrection. The things in your life that must die, the pride, the self-reliance, the need to control, the fear that whispers lies, those things must go to the cross so that what rises from the dead in you is purely God, purely his work, purely his power. This is the spiritual mathematics of April. I also want to address something that many of you are feeling right now. As we enter this season of new things, of divine opening, many of you are experiencing fear and doubt and a resistance to believing that such things could happen for you. And I am telling you, this is the very place where faith is exercised. This is where your declaration matters. This is where your voice becomes a weapon. Listen to what happened in Acts 16. Paul and Silas were in prison. The natural circumstances said, "You are locked up. Your enemies have won. Your testimony is finished." But at midnight, Paul and Silas began to sing and praise God. And Acts 16:26 tells us, "Suddenly there was a great earthquake so that the foundations of the prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone's bands were loosed." My friends, praise is not a response to breakthrough. Praise is a weapon that creates breakthrough. When you praise God before you see the answer, you are declaring that you believe God is who he says he is and you are inviting heaven to move on your behalf. This is why you must speak this prayer aloud. This is why you must pray with conviction. This is why I encourage you. Listen to this prayer daily. Play it in your home. Play it in your car. Play it as you walk. Pray along with me. Let your voice join with this voice. And let your declaration join with this declaration because God has given you authority and your words matter. Isaiah 43:E 19 says, "Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it shall spring forth. Shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert." My dear friends, do you hear the certainty in that language? I will do a new thing. Not I might, not I could, but I will. God is declaring his intention to do new things in your life. And he is declaring that he will make a way where there seems to be no way. And then there is Revelation 3:8. I know thy works. Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it. This is Jesus speaking to his church and he is saying that there are doors that he himself has opened and no circumstance, no person, no force of darkness can shut them. My friends, God is setting before you open doors in this month of April. The question is not whether the doors will open. They are already open. The question is will you walk through them? Let me also speak to the principle of new creation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 declares, "Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things are passed away. Behold, all things are become new." This is not poetry. This is not metaphor. This is the declaration of what happens when a life is given over to God. You become new. Your thinking becomes new. Your perspective becomes new. Your capacity becomes new. The old cycles that held you no longer have power over you. This is what resurrection means. Not a slight adjustment to the same life, but a complete transformation, a new creation. Now, I want to speak to you about the power of the resurrection that dwells within you. Romans 8:1 says, "But if the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his spirit that dwelleth in you." Do you understand what this means, my dear friends? The very spirit, the very power, the very lifegiving force that God used to raise Jesus Christ from death and from the grave, that same spirit lives in you. You are not walking in your own strength. You are not relying on your own understanding. You are carrying within you the resurrection power of God Almighty. And Philippians 3:10 asks us to know the power of his resurrection. This is not casual knowledge. This is intimate experiential knowledge. It is the kind of knowing that changes how you walk, how you speak, how you believe, how you declare. When you know the power of his resurrection, truly know it, you cannot help but walk differently. You cannot help but believe for things that previously seemed impossible. You cannot help but declare with authority that God is working on your behalf. Psalm 30:5 says, "For his anger endureth but a moment, and his favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." My friends, if you have been in a night season, a season of weeping, of difficulty, of struggle, I am declaring to you that your morning is coming. April is your morning. This month carries the prophetic declaration of joy coming, of light breaking through, of the night giving way to day. And Isaiah 61:es 1-3 speak of God's purpose. The spirit of the Lord God is upon me. Because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek. He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all that mourn, to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. My dear friends, this is the promise of April. Where there has been ashes, beauty is coming. Where there has been mourning, joy is coming. Where there has been heaviness, praise is lifting you higher. I want you to understand that this is not just another month. This is not a time to coast through and hope things work out. This is a divine appointment. This is a season when God is specifically moving, when he is opening doors, when he is calling things that are dead to come alive. And he is calling you to step into the fullness of what he has for you. Before we pray, let me say this. When you listen to this prayer, listen with intention. When you pray these words, pray with your whole heart. Do not pray as though God might hear you. Pray as one who knows that God is listening, that he is responding, that he is orchestrating circumstances on your behalf even now. Pray with the confidence of one who believes that it is done even before you see it manifested. Pray with the authority of one who knows that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is living in you. Pray as one who walks in the resurrection power of Christ. Let us now pray to our gracious and merciful God. The God who opens doors. The God who makes a way in the wilderness. The God who takes what is dead and makes it alive. The God who is the alpha and the omega, the beginning and the end. The God who was and is and is to come. Heavenly Father, I come before you in this month of April with reverence and with gratitude. You are worthy of all honor and all glory. You are the God of breakthrough and the God of new beginnings. You are the one who speaks to the foundations of the earth and they obey. You are the one who commands the light to shine and it shines. You are my rock and my redeemer and I bow before your majesty. I thank you my God for this day. I thank you for this month of April. I thank you for the promise of resurrection that it carries. I thank you for the gift of life, for the breath in my lungs, for the blood that flows through my veins. I thank you for your faithfulness that has sustained me through every season. I thank you for the victories I have seen and for the unseen battles that you have fought on my behalf. I thank you for your provision, your mercy, your loving kindness that is new every morning. I thank you for the Easter season, for the empty tomb, for the stone that could not hold your son. I thank you that because Jesus rose, I too can rise above every circumstance, every limitation, every voice that tries to tell me I cannot. I thank you that your power is not confined to history, but is alive and active in this present moment. I thank you for calling me out of darkness into your marvelous light, Lord God Almighty. I confess to you now the places where I have fallen short. I confess the times when I have put my own will above yours. I confess the times when I have relied on my own understanding instead of trusting in you with all my heart. I confess the thoughts, the words, and the actions that have not aligned with your truth. I ask for your forgiveness and I receive it now by faith. I also forgive those who have wronged me. I release bitterness. I release resentment. I release the desire for revenge. I choose to forgive as you have forgiven me. Search me, oh God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts. See if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. Renew in me a clean heart and a steadfast spirit. I decree and declare that in this month of April, the season of opening, every door that God has opened for me shall remain open, and no man shall shut it. I decree and declare that every hindrance that has attempted to block my path is now removed. I decree and declare that divine opportunities are coming toward me even now. I decree and declare that I am stepping into a season of unprecedented favor and advancement. I decree and declare that I will no longer be held back by fear, by doubt, by the lies of the enemy or by the limitations of my own natural understanding. I am a child of the most high God. I am seated in heavenly places. I am victorious. I decree and declare that this is my season of breakthrough, my season of opening, my season of new things springing forth in my life. Jehovah Rafa, healer of all diseases. I declare healing in my body. I declare healing in my emotions. I declare healing in my spirit. Every sickness must bow to the name of Jesus. Every pain that has tried to settle in my flesh is broken now. By the stripes of Jesus, I am healed. By the power of his resurrection, I am made whole. I rebuke every spirit of infirmity, every sickness, every disease, every condition that has tried to attach itself to me or to my loved ones. I declare that no weapon formed against my health shall prosper. I declare that I am strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and it is healed. It is whole. It is strong. I renounce every generational curse against my health. I break the power of every word that was spoken over my family line that tried to assign sickness, disease, or infirmity to me. I declare that the curse is broken and the blessing is activated. I walk in the health of the Lord. I walk in wholeness. I walk in vitality and strength. I also declare deliverance in the name of Jesus. I break every chain that has bound me. I break every yoke of bondage that the enemy has tried to place upon my life. I break every stronghold of fear, addiction, shame, rejection, or worthlessness. No longer do these things have power over me. I renounce every attack against my life, against my future, against my purpose, and against the destiny that God has assigned to me. I renounce every assault against my family, against my relationships, against my financial provision. I declare that no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I declare that every attack of the enemy is turned back and defeated. Where darkness has tried to take root in my heart, I command light to shine. Where the enemy has whispered lies, I declare the truth of God's word. Where bondage has tried to establish itself, I declare freedom. I am free. and I walk in the liberty of Christ. I am delivered and I walk in the power of deliverance. Sovereign Lord, be my refuge and my fortress. Be my shield and my buckler. Let your angels encamp around me in every place. Hide me under the shadow of your wings. Let no harm come near my dwelling. Let no evil approach my family. I ask that you cancel every plot, every snare, and every evil assignment that the enemy has set against me. Deliver me from all accidents, tragedies, and sudden calamities. Overturn every plan of the wicked, and break every arrow sent against me. Cover me in my comingings and goings so that I shall go out in peace and return in safety. Cover my home, my loved ones, my possessions, and everything concerning me. Let no thief break in. Let no enemy gain access. Let no scheme of darkness find success against those I love. I declare that a thousand may fall at my side and 10,000 at my right hand, but it shall not come near me. I am protected by the blood of Jesus. I am covered by the power of the Almighty. I am hidden in the secret place of the most high. No snare laid by the enemy can trap me. Every hidden danger is exposed and rendered powerless. I take refuge in you, Lord, knowing that no harm can befall me when I am covered by the blood of Jesus. I declare authority over every force of darkness that has tried to come against me. Every stronghold that the enemy has tried to build must come down. Every chain that has tried to bind me is broken. Every mountain that has tried to stand in my way must move. I am more than a conqueror through Christ who loves me. I declare that I am chosen. I am called. I am set apart for the purpose and plan of God. I am victorious through Christ. My faith is my victory. My declaration is my weapon. My praise is my power. I stand firm on the rock of my salvation and nothing can shake me. Lord, I thank you for the Easter season, for this time when we remember and celebrate the resurrection of your son, the power that raised Christ from the dead, the very spirit that rolled away the stone, that conquered death and the grave, that brought forth life from death. That same power lives in me. This is God's promise. This is reality. This is my inheritance as a believer in Jesus Christ. I declare that this is a season of new life springing forth in every area of my existence. Where there has been spiritual dormcancy, awakening is coming. Where there has been a distance from your presence, intimacy is being restored. Where there has been wandering, I am returning to your truth. I am experiencing fresh hunger for your presence, renewed passion for your purpose and deepened faith in your power. I crucify my flesh with all its selfish desires, its pride, its self-centeredness. I choose to walk in holiness. I choose to walk in obedience. I choose to walk in alignment with your kingdom and your values. Let this be a season of deep renewal, of spiritual transformation, of becoming more like Christ with every passing day. Jehovah Gyra, my provider, I thank you for supernatural provision in every area of my life. Where there has been lack, I declare abundance is released. Where there has been financial struggle, I declare breakthroughs are coming. I shall be a good steward of all that you entrust to me. I shall lack nothing for you are the Lord, my provider, and your resources are infinite. I declare that provision is coming to me through expected and unexpected channels. I declare that my gifts are producing return. I declare that favor is opening doors for increase and advancement. I declare that I walk in the blessing, not the curse. I declare that I am blessed in the city and blessed in the field. Blessed in my comingings and my goings. Lord, I also lift up my loved ones to you. Strengthen their faith and lead them in righteousness. Where there is division, bring unity. Where there is struggle, bring provision. Where there is brokenness, bring healing. Where there is confusion, bring clarity and peace. Let your favor rest upon them. Let your peace dwell within them. Let your purpose be fulfilled in their lives. Let my home be filled with your presence. Let my relationships be built on the foundation of your love. Let my family be anchored in your word and your ways. Protect my children. Guard their hearts and their minds. Shield them from every influence that would lead them away from you. Let the generations that follow me walk in the fullness of the blessings that you have promised. I also bring before you the things I cannot put into words. The hidden struggles, the silent battles, the burdens that are known only to you. You see my tears. You hear my cries. You know the weight that I carry in my heart. Thank you, Lord, that nothing is hidden from you and nothing is beyond your reach. I trust these things into your hands. I trust the answers that seem delayed and the prayers that have not yet manifested. I will not grow weary in waiting. For I know that you are working all things together for my good. Help me to trust your process, to rest in your promises, and to rejoice even before I see the fulfillment, knowing that what you have spoken you will do. Father, in this resurrection season, let my faith be strengthened like never before. Teach me to discipline my flesh, to crucify my selfish desires, and to walk in obedience to your word. Let me not be swayed by the distractions of this world. But let my focus be set on things above. Let this be a season of deep renewal, of divine transformation, and of spiritual maturity. I thank you, Lord, for what is already done and for what you are about to do. Before I even see the answers, I will praise you. Before I receive the breakthrough, I will worship you. Before the door opens, I will glorify you because I know that you are faithful. I know that you are moving. I know that your promises are yes and amen. Nothing is too hard for you. No prayer goes unheard and no tear is ever wasted in your presence. My hands are lifted in surrender. My heart is filled with gratitude. My voice joins with the voices of your saints across all ages and all nations in praise to your holy name. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever and ever.
