Today we're doing a laser cutting machine showdown between two of the most popular on the market. The first is the Wreate Vision Pro and the X Tool S1 series of machines. We're going to see which is best for you. Uh so starting with the Wreate starts at $19.99 for its most basic package, which is a 45 watt machine that functions like a 60 watt. And then the X tool S1 lineup actually comes in a 10, 20, and 40 watt variant. I'm going to be talking about the 1579 basic 20 watt version because that's the one I have and I think makes the most sense. So, the first thing I really wanted to do was figure out which of these machines would help in the goal of making money creating products using laser engraver. So, I decided to go out into the real world and check out what types of products were being sold in stores like Michaels, which I'm walking into here. This is a kind of arts and crafts store up here in Canada. Basically wanted to figure out what types of products were already being sold in this store that you might be able to make on a laser engraver and then figure out which machine's best for it. So, [snorts] here are some little birdhouses. These are really simple. This is like maybe$2 or $3 worth of wood. Um, and they're selling for like 15 to 17 bucks. This one's 44 bucks. Here's another example. $17.99. That's a couple sheets of 12 by 12 eighth of an inch plywood that you can make on a laser cutter, right? So, it's almost 20 bucks. So, giving me some ideas. A lot of birdhouses in this section. Here's a little bit more of an intricate one. And these are all done with templates, right? This is like a little RV birdhouse, right? So, you're looking at products in the $10 to $20 range that once you have a plan and you put that into your laser cutting machine are pretty simple to make and sell. And you can see these are being sold in store for like 20 to 40 bucks. Here's also here's also something that I thought was pretty interesting. These are just cut pieces of laser plywood into smaller pieces like for $2, for a dollar per coaster. This is like a really low skill way of using a laser engraver. But the fact that these are on the shelf in stores like Michaels um show that there's a market for this stuff if this big stores purchasing department went through and did this. Here's another section with Christmas goods. Um, I think these were like in the $20 range as well. But again, very simple products that can be made on laser cutters. So now the question is for this type of stuff, which which machine is better for you? And this is where I'll kind of go into this a little bit to give you an idea of which machine might be better suited for this type of product. So the first thing you want to look at is power, right? The X tools come in 10, 20, or 40 watt uh variants. And the Wii Create comes in a 45 watt that actually functions as a 60 due to this beam focus technology. For the types of products we're seeing in this, you know, Michael store, both are going to do a great job. So, one super important consideration that I found was when you're thinking about selling products that you're selling to a store or you're selling in bulk, you want to be able to make certain parts over and over easily. And a big part of that is being able to open the machine, throw your material in, and pump out the product quickly. We Create actually did a better job with that because it has an HD camera built in which lets you see the workspace. So you throw in your products, you can see it, you align the images and boom, you're getting stuff to stores quickly. With X tool, it's a little different. You have a twopoint positioning system where you have to manually line up two points on the product and then you can put your stuff in and laser cut or engrave. It works, but it didn't give me as much confidence. We also does a better job, I think, in the fact that the laser can lift automatically. Engraving these things once they're already assembled, which is sick. One area where they're both pretty evenly matched is what materials they can cut or engrave. You know, wood, certain metals, plastics, um, with similar limitations since they're both diode lasers. Basically, power is the big difference here. And we creates more powerful. Now, the one area where I think we crate is definitely behind has to do with how well these machines are sealed and fume extractions. When you're burning wood, plastics, things like that, it lets off toxic fumes. You're basically starting mini campfires in your house or workshop. So, if you're running these in your house, you want to make sure that the fume extractor at the back and if you're using the air purifier, have it vented out the window, you want to make sure things are getting out of your house. If you see here, there's quite a big gap. And the sheet metal this is made of is pretty flexible. So when the machine extends and opens up, you have quite a bit of space for fumes to be released into the room where you're working, which even if you're using the extractor that I just showed, that's not the best situation to be in. So this is definitely an area for improvement where I I think Xool is ahead. So which machine is best for you? Well, I I I really do think that for most people it's going to be the Wii Create. um due to the bang for your buck, the fact that you're spending under $2,000, you're getting a 45 watt machine that functions like a 60 watt, the bed extending to allow you to work on larger projects or material. It is actually a quality of life thing that I encountered quite a bit. You know, I assembled something that I made, I forgot to engrave it, I threw it in after the fact, I was able to engrave it. That was awesome. Also, um, you know, the ability to see the things that you're engraving through the camera made this really the easier choice for me. Now, I have both machines. Both work. Both do a good job, but if you're going to pick one, I I really do think apples to apples, we createreat's probably the better option. Um, just the one thing you want to consider is where you're using this. Um, it's not the best sealed device, so fumes will leak out into the room that you're using it in. And if you're health conscious or you have pets or babies in the house, that is definitely something you want to consider. But I do think we create wins this one. And um, is the machine I would go with if I'm trying to start a business where I'm selling laser engraved products for money. Anyways, let me know what you guys think. Do you have one or the other? Has this video helped you in making your decision? Let me know and we'll chat about it. Thanks, guys.
