Defense is by far the worst type in Beyblade. And today I entered a tournament with just defense types. Similar to Pokemon, Beyblade has a type system. And just like Pokémon, some types are much better than others. And defense is the worst type by far. Attack types move at mock speed around the extreme line. Stamina types can outspin anything. Balance types have the potential to do both, but defense types just sit in the middle of the stadium and hope to God they don't get hit. According to the Beyblade type chart, attack beats stamina, stamina beats defense, and defense beats attack. And this has held true for over the past 20 years. But with the new series Beyblade X and the introduction of the accelerator rail, attack type Beyblades got a massive buff. There are now gears on the Beyblades tip and once they make contact with the rails, they go absolutely ballistic. I mean, look, how is anything supposed to defend against that? No matter how tanky you are, you are not taking that hit. So now, defense types get outspun by stamina types, outwitted by balance types, and then just completely obliterated to smitherines by attack types. The type chart is broken. defense is now a type with only weaknesses. Which raises a stupid question. What happens if I wake up at 6:00 in the morning, drive 2 hours to get to the only real life Beyblade tournament in a 100 mile radius where the current number one ranked blader in the United States is competing, and the only Beyblades you use are defense types. Yes, I entered a Beyblade tournament using only Beyblades from the worst type, and somehow it almost worked. Similar to Pokemon, in a real life Beyblade tournament, you bring a team of Beyblades. [music] Usually, that team consists of three bays with vastly different skill sets to compensate for an individual bay's weaknesses. However, since I was only using defense types, my choices were very limited. But there was one Beyblade I knew I had to put on my team. Hover Wyvern. Hover Wyvern is by far the best defense type Beyblade. In fact, the world champion used a Hover Wyvern on their championship team to win Worlds in Tokyo. And the main reason why it's so great is because it's not actually that good at defense. You see, Hover Wyvern, although labeled a defense type Beyblade, is much more suited for attack combos. It has a hyperbolic shape that while spinning delivers explosive hits. Its shape is so great that it can consistently jump out of the side pockets. So, the first member of my team is hover wyvern 360 kick. 360 is a low smooth ratchet that helps with burst resistance. And kick is an aggressive bit, but it doesn't have as much surface area as other fastmoving bits, letting the Beyblade conserve its energy and outspin other attack combos. This Beyblade will be the cornerstone of my team. But the next two members of my team weren't as easy to pick. But if you want a lot of choices, I have a special announcement to make. This right here is the golden ticket of Beyblade. And I'm giving it away to one lucky viewer. Now, you might be asking, what does the golden ticket of Beyblade even do? Well, basically, the winner of the giveaway will get free Beyblades for a whole year. Every Beyblade released throughout the year 2026 will be shipped to them free of charge from Mall of Toys. Yep, I decided to partner with Mall of Toys. If you guys want to enter this giveaway, the link will be in the description. There will be multiple ways to enter and you get more entries for [music] every option you complete. If you're looking to buy some Beyblades, check out their store. They have good prices. You can pre-order the new Beyblades before anyone else, like the new awesome looking Bahamu Beyblade. And if you use code left burst at checkout, not only do you get 5% off your whole order, which just saves you money, but you also help us out a lot. So, if you're going to buy Beyblades anyway, use code left burst. It really helps us out and helps me pay my editors and my team. Anyway, back to the video. In the end though, the second Beyblade I decided to use was Golem Rock. While Golem Rock isn't the heaviest Beyblade, weighing in around 34 gram, it does have some pretty great stamina, especially for a defense Beyblade. This is because Golem Rock is a fairly round UX bay. UX Beyblades have a plastic core and a metal exterior. This weight distribution gives UX Beyblades a higher moment of inertia, meaning they're more resistant to slowing down and thus spin longer. Not only that, Golem [music] Rock also has a fairly recoil heavy shape that aids in destabilizing the opponent. The combo I decided to use was Golem Rock 960 free ball. 960 is a great ratchet, considered the best ratchet even because of its rounded shape. And Freeball gives a Beyblade amazing stamina, and the free spin aspect of the bit lets the Beyblade glide and drifts between attacks. Now, with two Beyblades chosen, there was only room for one more on my team. And of course, I had to go with Nightmale 160 Rush. I love this Beyblade. It was the Beyblade combo that carried me to my first ever tournament win. The Nightmale Blade has a similar triangular shape to Galaxy Perseus from the Metal Fight series. And as a kid, that thing was peak. And Nightmale can hit almost just as hard. Similar to Rock Golem, it's a UX Beyblade, but instead of excelling in stamina, it uses that extra moment of inertia to excel in just raw [music] power. Its main weakness is its weight, and even though it's explosive, some attack blades like Shark Scale are even more deadly. But compared to all the other defense type blades I could pick from, I think Night Nail is the best option. And with that, I've created my team of defense type Beyblades. And now it's time to drive 2 hours to the nearest Beyblade tournament. When I arrived at the Beyblade tournament, I realized I was kind of modulus, the number one blader in the whole country, was competing, and he was using a Beyblade that literally released last Friday. Like, how did how did he even get that? [laughter] But that's not all. Guzzi the ranked six explerator was there as well and many other players who ranked in the top 50 and me I came with a team from the worst type. I'm going to have to Beyblade out of my freaking mind if I want to compete. So immediately I started practicing before the tournament against the best Beyblade in the meta right now. Wizard Rod. This thing has been winning tournament after tournament. It is so good. A YouTuber made his whole brand around hating it. And according to a spreadsheet, it had over 200 tournament wins and just the month of Janu. Wait, what the heck? Why didn't anyone tell me Golem Rock was busted? This thing is amazing. It was able to destabilize Wizard Rod and due to its UX weight distribution, outspin the best Beyblade in the meta. I might actually have a chance. And while I was basking in this newfound confidence, the organizer started the tournament. And in the meantime, while I'm waiting for my first match, let me explain the rules to most real life Beyblade tournaments. You play until someone wins two sets. And to win a set, it's first to four points. If a Beyblade stops spinning, that's one point. If a Beyblade gets hit into either of the smaller pockets, that's two points. If a Beyblade explodes, that's two points. And if a Beyblade gets hit into this giant pocket, that's considered an extreme finish. and you get a whole three points. At the beginning of the match, you choose your team order. Once the order is set, you can't change it. It's locked in. Every Beyblade combo has good and bad matchup. So, there's a lot of strategy in predicting your opponent's order and countering it. If neither player gets four points after battling all their Beyblades, then players reshuffle and keep going until someone wins. And that's it. That's all the rules. And soon enough, I was called for [music] my first match. and my opponent was pure evil. While I showed up to the tournament with a team of defense types, he showed up with a team made solely out of stamina types, the safest and historically the best type in Beyblade. His team consisted of Wizard Rod 160 Hexa, the number one mostused tournament combo, Clock Mirage 355 freeball, the longest spinning Beyblade combo, and Silver Wolf 970 Ball, the second best stamina Beyblade after Wizard Rod. This team was made to win. And to top it all off, according to the type chart, stamina types are supposed to have an advantage on defense types. So, this is probably the worst matchup I could have gone against. But then again, two of my Beyblades are hyper offensive defense types, and the other one just proved it could stand its ground against wizard rod. So, the order I decided to go with was hover wyvern, golem brock, and then night mail. You know, I wanted to start off strong and hit the ground running, so I had to go with my best combo first. And my opponent's first Beyblade was Clock Mirage. If any of you guys grew up with Beyblades in the late 2000s, this one might look familiar because it's based on Twisted Tempo, notoriously one of the strongest metal fight Beyblades ever created. It is just a complete circle and has superb stamina. Its only weakness is it's tall as heck and has terrible burst resistance. So basically, if this thing doesn't combust, it's going to be out spinning you. And with that information, I angled my launcher and got ready for the battle. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. >> All right, come on. >> Look, you're ether burst me or I'm going to spin finish you out. >> Oh, and with a solid hit, my hover wyvern was able to burst clock Mirage and score me two points. And to be honest, my opponent really didn't [laughter] seem that confident. Anyway, the next match was between his silver wolf and my Golem Rock. In theory, his Beyblade should have more stamina, but if I'm able to destabilize him like Wizard Rod before, I might be able to win. >> 3 2 1 go shoot. >> All right, come on, Golem Rock. >> Oh, man. >> And Golem Rock, even though it wasn't able to get any overwhelmingly powerful hits, it was [music] slowly chipping away at Wolf. And in the end, >> so now the score is three to zero. I only need one more point to win the set, but even so, my opponent could get an extreme finish and tie up the score like instantly. And not only that, his last Beyblade is the best and number one mostused combo. Wizard Rod 160 Hexa. This thing does it all. It has amazing stamina due to the weight distribution of the wizard rod blade. The 160 ratchet is uneven and allows it to jump out of pockets just like hover wyvern. And the base of the hexabit gives it amazing defense and staying power. This combo is used in almost every single competitive Beyblade deck. And to take the set, I'm going to need to defeat it with night mail. But you know what? I love nightmail. So, let's send it. >> 3 2 1 go shoot. Oh, I'm back. I'm back. >> Oh, >> I thought I was going to go back just to go straight into the pocket again. >> Yeah, that might be the case here. >> Spin finish. >> In the end, Night Mill wasn't enough, but at least he jumped out of the pocket. So, the opponent only gets one point for a spin finish. So, the score is 3 to one. And now we reshuffle our base again. I only need one more point to win. So, I'm almost positive he's going to use his best Beyblade Wizard Rod first. So, I decide instead of going with my best Beyblade hover wyvern, I would start off with Golden Rock since he's proven before that he can take down Wizard Rod. And just like I predicted, my [music] opponent went with his wizard rod combo. 3 2 1 go. Shoot. Oh. Oh crap. And just like that, Golem Rock hits Wizard Rod into the pocket and burst him, giving me two more points in the set win. But the match isn't over. It's best out of three. I need to win another set. So, we shuffle our Beyblades. And this time, I decide to leave my heavy hitters in the back and start off with Night Nail. But my opponent has the opposite strategy. >> Bro, run again. >> Yeah. >> 3 2 1 go. Shoot. Oh, he's hiding. He's hiding. Come on. In the end, Night Male just didn't have enough juice and loses, giving the opponent one point. But you know what? That's okay because he just wasted his best Beyblade combo and he only got one point. My next two Beyblades are my powerhouses. And the second battle is going to be between his stamina king, clock mirage, and [music] my golem rock, which has yet to lose a battle. >> Three, two, one, go shoot me, please. >> Come on, burst him. He's wide open. >> I told you you're going to burst me or thank you. >> What am I doing? Calm down. >> My golem rock goes ballistic. I was so scared it was just going to jump out of the stadium, but lucky for me, he calmed down. Still though, Clock Mirage has the best stamina in the game. And if it came down to a spin finish, it wasn't looking good for me. >> I'm cooked. [laughter] But just when the battle was about to end. >> Yeah. >> Oh, Golem Raw clutches up and right before he's about to fall over, he bursts the opponent, making the score two [laughter] to one. Oh my goodness. This might be the best Beyblade combo on planet Earth. And my last Beyblade is Hover Wyvern. This might be the final battle. I might actually be able to defeat a team of the best type with a team of the worst. >> 3 2 1 go. Shoot. Please. >> No. That's super unfortunate. >> Oh. Almost in the other bucket. >> Oh my gosh. Wow. That was >> big. Unfortunate >> finish. >> Wyvern almost through following into the pocket twice, but narrowly it's able to hold its ground. And in the end, only losing one point to a spin finish, which ties up the score at 2 to2. And now it's time to shuffle again. And this time, you know, I have to go with Golem Rock. I mean, come on. This thing is on a roll. And of course, my opponent goes with wizard rod. >> The rod. Okay, >> gota. >> Three, two, one. Shoot. >> My opponent launches wizard rod at max speed like he's trying to murder my Beyblade. Oh my goodness. But even though Golem Rock is trying his best, chipping at Wizard Rod, hit after hit after hit. It wasn't able to destabilize Rod due to its hex a bit. >> Oo, I might actually get >> Oh. Oh. >> Oh my god. >> Golem Rock clutches up for a second time in a row and wins me the second set, giving me the win. And as exciting as that is, this was only the first round. There are five rounds of this tournament, and the top eight players by the end of those five rounds are entered into a single elimination tournament. I am going to need to keep winning if I want a chance to compete. Anyway, soon after my first round, round number two started and my opponent was actually a huge fan of the channel. Shout out to Kado. He is a pretty cool guy and his Beyblade team is also pretty sweet. His first Beyblade was wizard rod 970 freeball. This is a similar combo to my last opponent, but instead of the defensive hexit, it now has free ball, which should have less friction with the stadium floor, giving the Beyblade slightly more stamina. His second Beyblade was Cobalt Dragoon 960 Low Rush, an aggressive left spinning attack combo. And his last Beyblade was Night Male 160 Rush. Literally the same exact combo that I'm using. This will be an interesting battle. And the order I decide to go with is Night Male, Golem Rock, and then Hover Wyvern. My thought process is to start off with my worst Beyblade and get a feel for his team. My opponent though starts off strong with his wizard rod combo. >> Oh, the wizard. >> Three, two, one, go shoot. >> Let's go. Immediately, my night mail hits wizard rod straight into the pocket, meaning I get two points. The free ball tip is great for stamina, but that decrease in friction also means it's easier to knock back. This match is looking pretty good for me so far. I already have two points and I still have my two strongest Beyblades [music] in the back. My opponent's next Beyblade is the left spinning Cobalt Dragoon. And for me, Golem Rock is up next. And based on Golem Rock's prior performance, this set might be over in the next [music] battle. >> One, go shoot. >> Oh. Oh my gosh, it hit so hard. Dragoon completely caught me by surprise, rushing my Beyblade with insane attacks, almost knocking me out. He hit so hard. No. And then he did knock [laughter] me out. Yeah, I might have been a little too overconfident and let my opponent tie up the score at two to two. The final battle though is between Hover Wyvern and his night mail. This battle could decide the set. A battle between two aggressive defense Beyblades. We get our launchers ready and in three, two, one, Wyvern, what are you doing? [laughter] This Beyblade is literally going to give me a heart attack. It jumped out of the pocket twice, but luckily it is still in it, and it should have enough stamina to win. >> Oh, extreme finish. [laughter] Oh my gosh. >> Dang. In the last seconds of battle, Night Male was able to get an extreme finish. I mean, look at it. It is literally barely spinning. That was a crazy battle. And to be honest, a well-deserved set victory to my opponent. But the match isn't over. It's best of three, and I can still come back. I just need to really lock in. So, for my first Beyblade, I decide to give Hover Wyvern another chance. It just so happens that my opponent picks Nightmale again. >> That's what just killed me. [laughter] Yeah. Oh, same the same bay. >> 3 2 1 go shoot. >> Avoid him. >> Oh my gosh, I almost got extreamed again. >> Oh, I might run out of stamina. >> Yep. Out of stamina. >> Hover Wyvern is able to dodge and weave and take the first battle, redeeming himself. And the next battle is another rematch between Raw Golem and Cobalt Drago. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. >> Oh my god. >> Settle this like gentleman. Settle this. >> No. Golem Rock tanks the first couple hits, but one slowm moving blow from Dude sends him flying to the extreme pocket, meaning the score is 3 to one. My opponent just needs one more point to win. I need to win this next battle. >> 3 2 1 go. Shoot. >> Might win this. Come on. Say it. >> Nightale brings it back, hitting Wizard Rod into the pocket, tying up the score. It is now three to three. The next battle will decide it all. And the Beyblade I decide to go with is Hover Wyvern. My best Beyblade, and my opponent goes with his Cobalt Dragoon, the Beyblade that is so far undefeated. We get our launcher set and in three, two, one, >> go shoot me. >> Oh, he's >> Oh no, I'm scraping. >> Ah, that goat. There it goes. >> YOU NEVER KNOW. NO, YOU GET [laughter] ME. >> Hover Wyvern. Why? Dragood was literally just about to stop spitting and hover Wyvern just decides to jump off the rails. Not towards the center, which usually happens during extreme dash, but straight into the pocket. My opponent gave up all hope and at the last second, Wyvern decides to just eat himself into the pocket. You just can't make this stuff up. Anyway, with that, I [music] lost, meaning my score is now one to one. As for my next round, I end up versing a child. We really have to separate Beyblade tournaments like they do in Pokemon. Like, imagine if Wolfie VGC battled Little Jimmy at Pokémon World. But the kid and his family were really nice. They drove even farther than me from Pennsylvania to get here because his older brother's birthday was coming up and this was their special family trip. So, as a birthday gift, I decided to give them a scorpion spear and a shark scale just to share the love. You know, competitive Beyblade's really cool and how it's bringing an older audience to Beyblade, but at the end of the day, it's just a toy. [music] And, you know, you kind of have to look out for the kids and make sure they're having a good time above anything else. Anyway, all that doesn't matter because I absolutely demolished that child. Meeting by score is now two to one. >> [sighs and gasps] >> And as for my next round, I was paired up against a player by the name of Polymorph, who probably had the most stacked team so far. His deck consisted of Wizard Rod 160 Hexa, the most used Beyblade combo with the most tournament wins. Hover Wyvern 960 kick, basically the same hover wyvern combo I'm using, which has been the ace of my team, and Soul Eclipse 560 wedge, a heavy CX Beyblade that specializes in weaving through attacks. This was a well- balanced team with strong heavy hitters. And not only was his deck busted, he was actually a really nice guy. >> Oh man, this is kind of cool. I swear to God, like when I when I started in this, you're the first YouTube thing that popped up and I swear I swear to God, it's really cool. >> Anyway, it was time to start the match and the order I decided to go with was Night Male, Hover Wyvern, and then Golem Rock. I put Golem in the back because it has the best match up against his team and I wanted to save him for last and I thought he would try to start out with an aggressive strong Beyblade and leave his wizard rod for last, but I was completely wrong. >> Oh no, Roxa, he had to bring it out. >> Why not? [laughter] Why not? >> This is probably the worst match up for Night Nail, but I might have a chance if I launch it at full power. >> 3 2 1 shoot. That was a good >> No, he's hiding. >> Come on. >> Night, man. Oh, >> come on. Get him. >> All right. He's He's fine. He's fine. He's fine. >> That's what you say for now. >> No, you sliced him. >> That was close. >> That was close. Oh my goodness. It was so close to hitting Wizard Rod out. Like, look at this. It literally double taps him over the rails. If he just got a slightly harder hit, Wizard Rod would have went flying into the extreme pocket. But instead, Wizard Rod wins through a spin finish. The score is 0 to one. But that's okay because up next is my ace Hover Wyvern. And Polymorph brings his Soul Eclipse combo. Honestly, I don't have much experience battling against Soul Eclipse, so I have no idea what I'm getting into. >> 3 2 1 Oh my god. >> Hover Wyvern gets hit so hard it flies out the top of the stadium, which lucky for me counts as a relaunch. But now I know this sole eclipse is nothing to be messed with. And the nerves kind of got to me. And as I looked at the score, I started to doubt myself and I said this. >> I don't want to foreshadow anything, but if you get an extreme finish, you win this. >> I'm not calling anything. This is going to be fun. Three, two, one. Let's shoot. >> Oh, who's going to ride the rail? You are. You are. >> Oh, no. I called it. >> I jinxed it. [laughter] [gasps] And with the self-extreme finish, Polymorph wins the set. Now I was on the ropes. I knew I had to lock in and stop letting the nerves get to me. For the second set, I decided to lead with Golem Rock. I needed to win this battle and shift the momentum. >> Two very inconsequential to start with. >> Come on, Golem. Get him. Get him. OH, >> AND with a massive counterattack and extreme finish, Golem Rock sends Wyvern packing, giving me an early lead. The score is three to zero. I just need one more point to win. But the next battle is a rematch between Nightale and Wizard Rod. This didn't go so well last time, but it was so close to getting extreme finish on Rod. If I just give it a little bit more juice, I might be able to squeeze out a victory. So, I get ready for the strongest launch of my life. >> 3 2 1. >> Oh man. Dangerous. Dangerous. Dangerous. Danger. >> Oh, >> come on. >> Oh, no. Are you kidding me? >> Yes. Stay in >> again. >> Hit him. >> Yes. Oh, that wizard. The wizard is the way. Are you kidding me? Look at this guy's wizard rod. It was in the extreme pocket and then somehow it's able to jump out of it. Usually Beyblades are able to jump out of the side pocket, but the extreme pocket is so tall that like never happens. And then another super hard hit at the end. And Wizard Rod is almost sent into the pocket but barely hangs [laughter] on. Oh my goodness, that battle, even though I didn't win it, it was exhilarating. Everyone was watching and cheering. That was awesome. And I'm still up. The score is 3 to one. And next up, I get to use my best Beyblade, Hover Wyvern. But his last Beyblade is Soul Eclipse. This is the same match up from set one where he knocked my hover wyvern straight into the extreme pocket and won. And again, the score is 3 to1. I can't afford [music] to lose this Beyblade battle. It just can't be another extreme finish. And if I win in any way, I claim the set. I get ready for the battle and in 3 2 1. Oh, >> get out. Yes. Let's go. [laughter] Are you kidding me? [laughter] What the heck? You cannot make this stuff up. Wyvern falls into the side pocket. If it just stayed there, the opponent would get two points, which isn't ideal by any means, but at least I'd still be in the game. However, because of its shape, it jumps out of the pocket, which is usually a good thing. But then it immediately gets hit straight into the extreme pocket, giving my opponent three points and the victory. Look at it. It was just about to stop spinning and in the last seconds, it decides to throw [laughter] the game. Honestly, I I can't even be mad. It's kind of funny. [laughter] >> What was that? >> Oh, no comment. This is just the game. [laughter] >> This is just the game. >> No comment. >> Is that it? >> Oh, dude. >> Good game. >> It was a pleasure, man. It was a pleasure. >> It was fun. It was >> Oh, man. That was a pleasure. >> Anyway, my record is now two to two. There is only one more round left. With the score, I am currently tied for eighth place. And my opponent for round five is none other than the person I'm tied with, Big Cell. He also has a score of two to two. Again, the top eight players move on to a single elimination bracket. So, the winner of our match will decide who makes it into that tournament and who will be sent home. And with so much pressure on the line, I tried to ask around and scout how good this Big Cell guy actually was. >> Do you know who Big Cell is? >> Yeah, bro. You're cooked. Super sweat. You need >> good luck. Oh my god, >> I'm cut. This guy was indeed a sweat. His team consisted of the top three Beyblades in the meta. Of course, he had the infamous wizard rod 160 hexa. He had hover wyvern 760 level and his third Beyblade was Shark Scale 170 kick. Shark scale is the deadliest attack type Beyblade out right now. It has low sharp contact points that allow the Beyblade to easily slice through and burst opponents. Not only that, its blades are angled to scoop up opponents and launch them into the air. After Wizard Rod, it is the second Beyblade with the most tournament wins. This is the ultimate challenge of the video. Can a team consisting of the worst type beat a team made fully out of top tier Beyblades? The winner of the round moves on and the loser goes home. This round will decide it all. And screw the nerves, screw the pressure, I am going all out. So, I decide to start off with Golem Rock, my most consistent Beyblade of the tournament. And lucky for me, my opponent goes with his wizard rod combo. We get ready and in three, two, one, >> shoot. >> Come on, golem. >> Can green golem beat green whiz. Come on. Come on. >> No, he's destabilizing me. >> Come on. [laughter] >> And with the tiniest rotation, Golem Rock, a Beyblade part of the worst type, defeats the best Beyblade combo, making the score one to zero. But the match isn't over yet. That is just one point. I'm going to need to keep this momentum rolling if I want to win. So, the next Beyblade I choose is Hover Wyvern, and my opponent goes with his hover Wyvern as well. It's a battle between the Wyvern Beyblades. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. >> Oh my gosh. >> Oh my gosh. >> I'm scraping. >> No, bro. Stop that. My opponent's Wyvern is using the level bit, which although it's hard to control, its wide tip does keep the Beyblades from scraping as easily. And using this, he is able to win the battle. So now the score is tied one to one. And our final bays are Night Male and Shark Scale. It's a battle between two high recoil tops. This battle is going to be explosive. >> 3 2 1 go. Shoot. All right, clean. >> Yeah, cuz it uh we were like wondering what the heck happened CUZ >> SHARK Scale with its hard-hitting upper attack blade slice my night mill off the extreme line into the extreme pocket, giving my opponent three points in a set. Now I'm behind. If I want to prove the power of defense Beyblades, I'm going to need to win the next two sets in a row. I decide to start off with my stronger base. So, the order I went with was Hover Wyvern, Golem Rock, and the Night Mail. I need to win the next battle. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. >> And with a quick knockout finish, Wyvern takes it, making the score two to zero. But this next battle is between my Golem Rock and his hover Wyvern combo. We get our launchers ready, and in 3 2 1 Oh, shoot. Please. Please have mercy. Have mercy. >> What the heck? No. Just like that, my lead is gone. The score is now 3 to one. He only needs one more point to win. His next Beyblade is Shark Scale, the most deadly Beyblade on his team. And my last Beyblade is Nightale, the worst Beyblade on my team. If I don't win this battle, it's all over. The whole tournament depends on this launch. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot, please. >> Come on. Come on. COME ON. >> OH, HE'S BACK. Are you kidding me? >> I think you'll still get the spin finish, though. >> I don't need that. Night Mail was so close to knocking him out and tying up the score, but Shark is able to come back. Even so, at least Night Mill got the spin finished. And now the score is 3 to2. I'm still hanging on, but then again, he just needs one more point to win. Knowing this, I predict he's going to go with Wizard Rod, his safest Beyblade. So, I decide to go all out with Hover Wyvern since it did so well against his rod earlier. I need to win this battle. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. Oh man. See you for the same. >> And hover Wyvern takes it, launching Wizard Rod into the exact same pocket as before, giving me two points in the win over set number two. So now we're tied one set to one. The winner of this last set moves on and the loser has to go home. I decide to start off with Golem Rock and he goes with his wizard rod combo. Golem has had a pretty good win record against Rod in this tournament so far. So, I was pretty confident going into this battle. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. At least he's not doing it again. >> R's on the attack. >> Oh, you hopped over him. >> Oh my gosh. >> Cuz the Whiz Rod a couple times already. Oh, it's over for me. >> Yeah, finally. >> All right, but this time, Wizard Rod takes it, giving the point to my opponent. That's okay, though. It's only one point. And next up, I'm using my hover wyvern, and my opponent chooses his hover wyvern. Last time, his hover wyvern barely outspun mine, so this time I made sure to launch as hard as I could. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. Oh my gosh. God, >> you never know with Wyvern. >> You never know what's going to happen here. >> My defining cuz I might have been driving way too much. >> Oh. Oh, I'm scraping. >> And now that's one point to me. We're going back and forth on wins. The score is one to one. One extreme finish could end it. And our last bang blades are night nail and shark scale. We get our launchers ready in three, two, one. [screaming] No. [laughter] Nightmill gets hit straight into the side pocket. So now the score is 3 to one. My opponent just needs one more point to win. And knowing this, I know he's going to go with his wizard raw combo. That is exactly what he did before. This is the exact same position I was in before. I need to risk it and use hover wyvern. The whole tournament has led up to this point. If I lose, it's all over. >> Three, two, one, go. Shoot. >> Don't shoot out. Jump out. Jump out. Shoot out. Jump out. Double check. >> Oh. >> And with that, I was eliminated from the tournament. But to be honest, it was a lot of fun. And considering I used a team of just defense blades, I think I did pretty well. Anyway, if you guys want to see more tournament videos, check out this video on screen. And with that, [music] I'm out.
