so are you religious yourself do you believe in anything I was I was raised a Christian but I'm no longer a Christian okay yeah so right now where I stand are you right now yeah so where I stand basically is I don't think I'm very open to stuff so I've basically tried to be a Christian again because growing up a Christian you know it's it's I grew up in Nigeria it's a lot of give and take that's just the way it is you ask questions that's just the way it is they don't really give you appropriate response that's why when I came across I quite like the fact that someone's actually willing to go out here and answer all these questions so yeah yeah so yeah you're welcome to ask do you have any questions about Islam you're welcome to ask yeah yeah so why do you believe in Islam why do you think Islam is the way one uh secondly in Islam yeah let's let's move on question by question so it can be easier so I just don't forget so the first thing is why why Islam because Islam is the truth it's the absolute truth there is no doubt that Islam is the only religion that can be established using rationality and objective evidence common sense that it is a religion that comes from God other religions have been manipulate the scripture have been manipulated they have contradictions internal and external text itself contradicts itself or contradicts the reality um the religions themselves do not have any objective proof to offer that they are from God when you ask them other than their personal experience and fuzzy feelings and dreams when they they're sleeping at night and stuff like that there isn't any objective evidence that they can offer other people uh and justifications for they believe so why do I believe Islam is in Islam because Islam is a truth if anything else was the truth I would be believing in that so it's not that I believe in ISL I just happen to believe in Islam or something no I believe in Islam because after investigation that was the truth so that is the choice that I st but if it was anything else I would make that choice to follow that other thing whatever the other thing is so the reason follow Islam is because there is no doubt that it is the truth coming from God and there's many evidences of that I have a lecture on my my channel for example where I talk about compelling evidences for the truthfulness of Islam or go to different types for the evidences of Islam are like the Prophecies of prophet Muhammad tens of prophecies none of them are false specific about the future like the fact that Quran talks about history that nobody knew in the past uh that was not in the previous scriptures the fact that the Quran talks about the natural world natural phenomena the universe creation whatever and it's very precise and we're learning it today using our science studying the life of prophet Muhammad himself You' have to come to the conclusion he has to be from God the Quran is structure all of these are evidences I can go on and on and each of these types of evidences have many examples to be put so I have no doubt that Islam is the truth and that's why I am a muslim okay I'll just like you to give me one your most compelling um evidence or your most compelling reason yeah I I I yeah I don't I don't think this is rational from my perspective to give one because different people are different different I've given Sometimes some people one evidence that was very compelling for them it was enough another person he didn't like it he liked another evidence because we are different as human beings and and we have a lot of subjectivity as well then some things maybe look more compelling to us than others so due to that there's so many differences evidences of Islam right because maybe someone not compelled by this but he's compelled by that and you combine them together then they have their the most solid uh ground but uh something I say all the time which is the Prophecies of the future for example of prophet Muhammad alhat where he talks about the events that take place for example he he talks about the countries that would become Muslim uh and this was at the time where he was being attacked by Pagan Arabs 10,000 people army he know if he doesn't know if he's going to live tomorrow or not and he he's surrounded by the two biggest Empires the Persian uh bantian assassian Empire the Persian and the Roman Empire two biggest Empires which have more than half of the planet under the dominion and they're expanding and the Arabs are in between and he's telling you now the countries that will become Muslim he's telling you the countries that will become Muslim and then the prophet talks about for example how Islam was spread to Egypt how Islam was spread to uh Jordan how Islam spread to Syria by name how Islam was spread to Palestine how Islam spread to Yemen how Islam spread to Turkey Constantinople India Pakistan all of these countries how Islam will enter these countries also um how the Muslims will defeat the Roman imperion Empire the is around them and the Roman King that is in that part of the Empire will be the last Roman King in that region and the Persian king will be the last Persian king in that region and that is literally what happens historically how the prophet for example talks about the Romans and Persians fighting and when the Romans were defeated and was the end of the Roman Empire the Quran mentions this prophecy everyone was saying it's the end of the Roman Empire because Antioch was was taken Damascus Jerusalem which is the holy city can say because it was a Christian Empire and people are saying this end of the Roman Empire like the Persians will completely decimate them but then the Quran makes a prophecy how the Romans will come back and it gives a time frame from three to n years specifically and it says that they will defeat the Persians also the Quran talks about how they were defeated in the lowest land Quran uses the term the lowest land today we know geographically we know that is the lowest land below sea Lev how the how can the Quran or Prophet Muhammad or any human being know that at that time it's impossible so information like this prophecies with the future many many Propet talks about things are happening today like how sexual diseases will be so widespread that new diseases will come new sexual transmitted disease will will appear within the people how after sexual immorality is spreading the prophet mentioned that Prophet talked about user and interest and how it be so widespread that nobody will be able to avoid it and you cannot really have user in interest on a wide scale without having unlimited currency in a way so you can lend as much as you want so if you're using gold and silver like they used to do and not paper currency you cannot do it but that prediction includes the the Advent of paper currency and all of that because that's the only way you can have Global interest so you have so many like fascinating undoubtable Prophecies of the future like this not a single false prophecy and that gives us gives as I said that's just by way just one example because I said there's so many different examples right and types and each type has different examples uh so there is no doubt that Islam is a truth absolutely no doubt okay got that um do you think that there do you believe that there are other religions where the mostan prophecies made that came true though other religions must been prophecies that came true we we believe Islam didn't start with Prophet Muhammad We Believe Islam started with Adam the first human being and we believe Jesus was a Muslim Prophet Moses was a Muslim prophet Abraham was a Prophet Muslim means to submit to to one true God Jesus didn't eat pork he fasted 40 days his mother had heads covering her head she fell on her face when she prayed he said Allah because that's the word of of God in Ariah and he spoke Ariah he was from the Middle East uh many people don't know these things but this is what Jesus was Moses was not not much different than this Abraham was the one who brought the tradition of circumcision which Muslims do and Christian and Jesus dead and Moses dead Etc so we believe the religion of all these prophets including Prophet Muhammad peace be upon all of them was the same but and the teaching about God and His attributes and all that was the same but the command some commands that are beneficial for society uh some of these commands were different based on the state of the people but the beliefs about God were the same the message was the same there's only one God worthy of worship Etc so there was previous prophets that prophesized we have no issues with that but there isn't any other religion today that can offer the same evidence that I told you that can offer multiple Prophecies of the future clear specific prophecies like I was given you specifically saying countries or time frame or any of that you're not going to find that clear specific Prophecies of the future numerous many none of which is false whether a a religion that has a scripture that is preserved you're not going to find a single religion like this today and anyone is welcome to uh prove me wrong I've been you know been looking for for that for a long time there isn't because I've already read the Bible I've already looked at the T already looked at TM I've already looked at the bagita the vas already looked at different Hindu scriptures I've looked at all of these things nobody has that do you know what they have they have false prophecies of the future that's what they have they don't have true prophecies they have false prophecies in the future things which which did not happen so that is a problematic thing okay so to get the straight do do Muslims believe that basically Christianity is so they believe Jesus was a prophet but there was what some miscommunication along the way that just led to how Christianity is not miscommunication you can trace this historically uh what happened the message of Jesus was there's only one God wory of worship he was a messenger of God he was the Messiah meaning he's chosen by God that's what the word Messiah means and that's it like Jesus was sent by God right chosen to be a prophet delivering his M same thing now Jesus after uh he was raised up to heaven then you had the earliest groups of Christianity like the nazarin the ebionites which today they call them heretic groups these early groups they believe Jesus was just a prophet of God they didn't believe he died on the cross and they believe that he came to deliver a message and he was the Messiah that's it which is what Muslims believe then how did the the Trinity and and Jesus becoming divine all of that come it's it's clear anyone who reads church history if you look at the Council of when Ro Roman Empire which which had Greek mythology and believing in Zeus and Thor and sons of God Daughters of God and trinities this is what they all believed in in their Greek theology or mythology before Christianity so they already had all of these beliefs then Constantine accepted um the Roman emperor Constantine in the 4th Century accepted uh Christianity then in the 4th Century he was introducing all of these beliefs like you have the Council of Na in 325 where you had Church fathers agre ageing with one another you have Aras believing that Jesus is divine but but a demig god a Lesser God than the father in a way they're not equal essentially he's subordinate to the father then you have athanasius who said no they're equal and then they argue with each other and then Constantine basically had his position that oh this is the position we're going to take that Jesus is coequal divinely co-equal to the father and then he everyone else is heretic you they burn any other scripture opposite to that and will persecute and punish anyone who doesn't believe that because that is the of the Council of the Roman Empire then 3 381 you had the Council of Constantinople and then you had the Holy Spirit added the picture then you have new councils that happen later on that bring new doctrines like the hypothetic union Jesus had was 100% God 100% man all of this can be traced historically why is the evidence that all of this can be traced historically two things first you can never bring a church uh father in the uh first 300 years of Christianity before the councils who described the trinity in the same way that they that Christan believe it today you're not going to find them saying there's God the Father God the son God the Holy Spirit coequal word for word I'm saying here because people misunderstand coal coeternal three persons in one being you're not going to find any Church Father saying this statement before the councils and the second evidence is that the Bible doesn't talk about the Trinity or the Jesus or Jesus being Divine so that shows that this is a later development that was developed and we already have these councils as examples to show that this was a later development so no we as Muslims we don't just make empty claims right we like to come with evidence we don't just say oh like this was changed no no no we'll give you reasons and historical evidence and proofs and history why it is for a fact the case that the the beliefs have been changed not only that that you have there's nothing written before the 4th Century the ear full manuscript of the Bible is from the 4th Century 400 years after Jesus written by unknown people the earliest is a code ofus the earliest written fragment you know small fragments and whatever the earliest written fragment is from the second century it's as big as a card called the p52 and it has no no relevant information so so they have nothing from the time of Jesus Christians not a single piece of paper from the life of Jesus nothing you cannot claim Jesus believed in this or that whatever you have in the Bible that we talk about which doesn't have the Trinity yet is from the first century that's where the copy that that they have is from yeah my last question this is like one of the biggest things I grew up Christian there's many people who grew up a Christian people grew up in different religions people who grow up Islamic yes if I have to be an Islam to make it a paradise and I was born a Christian sure it's that and I live a good life as Christians do whatever um the story is the still the the whole point really is to live a good life if I live a good life life right and um love your neighbors you love yourself all of that and I go to hell because I wasn't a Muslim is that really just okay first in Islam there is conditions for someone to go to Hellfire these conditions is as as follows first hear the clear Message of Islam not corrupted message not something wrong not misconceptions here the the true Message of Islam and the eviden is why is is from God or all these things hear the message of Islam clearly okay after hearing the message you will know is the truth because it will connect with your inner which is an innate position that God is God has given to everyone it will make sense now once you get the message of Islam the second condition is you die rejecting that message so you live your whole life rejecting the M message you will know is a truth you reject it you'll die upon rejection you go to her fire now without these things happening the person doesn't go to Hellfire you have a different test on the day of judgment let's say someone doesn't hear the message of Islam then you have a different test on the day of judgment on the day of judgment Allah will send you a prophet and then you'll see if you follow that Prophet you'll go to heaven if you don't you'll go to same test that we got in this life but you will get in the afterlife okay so if you get the message now you cannot say I I was good or I did good no you didn't do good because you rejected God's message that's the only way you go to Hell Fire you rejected God's message message and you died rejecting it plus even even like most of Christians of today do they really follow Christianity let's be sincere with ourselves 99% say 95 let me be generous 95% of Christians today do they follow Christianity they don't follow what Jesus thought yeah they they don't follow like how what what what Christian Nation today do you have people not having intercourse before marriage what is that and all of them will agree that this is not allowed in Christianity all of them are doing it over drinking getting drunk all of them will agree this is not allowed in Christianity but they'll still do it so the reality is the overwhelming majority of them are not following Christianity anyways even if you are to take Christianity as an example doesn't even suit there because even there they're not following the commands of God but as I said there's no way to uh go to paradise without believing in the message of God but if you don't get the message you have a different distance they judgment so uh you cannot be like pure innocent good seeking the truth and God puts you in H that that is not a possible position Allah is just he will only punish those who deserve to be punished got it that's what my questions okay so uh are you do you believe I believe you believe in a Creator right you believe in a higher power you believe in God yeah I do okay so what about the prophets of God you believe that God sends you prophets and Messengers to tell you about him to tell you about the Creator because God is not going to leave us like this out of nowhere and you heard so many about so many people Jesus Moses Noah Abraham Prophet Muhammad all of them you heard about them in history coming and telling you they're from God so do you believe that God sends you prophets and Messengers I mean I don't know personally sure so if that Creator God that created everything don't you agree that that creator has guided everything in existence the bird you know the ants you you see you have a brain you see you have a we have a big head and we have a big brain inside of it right to process information now the ant is this big the ant is is big and there is even smaller ant this small ant has colonies has prison systems have hierarchy and a queen system and armies fighting battles they carry the dead and bury they do fascinating things who guided them the Creator who created them right so that creator that created everything in this universe has guided it now we're not the old ones out that's why God sends us prophets and Messengers and now remember what I said to you those prophets and Messengers come with proofs they come with evidences you ask me why I was a Muslim and I was giving you the reasons so if we live the time of Jesus you will see the proofs that he the Miracles that he performed and then you'll become a Believer but since there's no prophets walking today then there's evidences like the ones I mentioned to you there's still clear evidences is from God but it's things you can investigate today without the need of the presence of the actual Prophet standing there so if the things I was I was telling you were true and and they are true obviously of the Prophecies of the future evidence of Islam and this and that then does that not mean for a fact that Prophet Muhammad has to be a messenger of God then by definition oh yeah because otherwise he cannot know yeah so if and if he's the messenger of God then we shouldn't we follow that messenger of God which is essentially following God because God is the one who sent that messenger yeah but my my I see what you're saying I do understand it it's just mhm another thing like when when when one has grown up knowing one thing the whole life like how am I supposed to just one day switch well if you grew up all all your life thinking Santa Claus comes in in from your chimney and then puts and then someone tells you you know what that's just a fairy tale you just realize is a false belief you don't believe it anymore even if I believed in something my entire existence and my entire life once I realize and see objective evidence that this is wrong I need to stop believing it right now not to do that is by definition called delusion delusion is to believe something opposite to the objective reality and evidence is being against it that's what what delusion is so you see the objective facts and reality and you believe the opposite so we cannot be delusional we cannot live in delusion just because someone thought us something Allah says in the Quran about the Pagan Arabs uh they said uh that's what we found our forefathers upon Allah said what if your forefathers were not guided what if they were ignorant what if they didn't know aren't there many things that your parents told you that were not accurate many things that my parents told me that were not accurate and then when you grow up you real okay that's not that was not true so a part of growing up but mentally is to abandon false ideologies and accept the guidance that comes to you from God you have to be an a honest person right that's what sincerity is sincerity is to accept the truth when the truth comes to you does that make sense like for I'll give you another hypothetical example let's say your whole life you've been adopted you don't know you're adopted right now let's say you are adopted you you believe you from your parents 100% well let's say you are adopted and then your parents come to you and they give you a DNA test are you still going to believe your you're the biological son no why you believe that your whole life yeah but it's not that black and white religion is it it is tell me which part of Islam being the truth for example or what I've given you that is not black and white I believe it's it's as black and white I think it's more black and white because the DNA test can be forged and my parents could have other Alternatives but with Islam I'm more sure that it is true then but you tell me why is it not black and white I mean because I have never seen it personally in my own life I have never seen you haven't seen what like I haven't seen any evidence or any any part of God in my life do you get what I mean like I have any really you haven't all in my life like if I to say like God you have what what that that makes no you you definitely have okay so how about I you are an example you are a proof that there is a Creator you are like this building you live in you don't doubt for a second that there is a creator that made this building yeah do you but you've not seen him of course yeah so why don't you doubt it because you know that buildings need to be made they show complexity they show intelligence they show design and and it's not just the fact that you've seen houses being built I'll tell you why have you seen a person a person build the pyramids No you agree the pams are built yeah there's only there's only one example of that or we've not seen anybody build pyramids have we no but we have no doubt because we know the complexity and the structure and all of these things lead us to the absolute fact there is a Creator because some people will say oh but I have seen buildings being built sorry my friend that's not why we we believe there's a Creator we believe it because they show signs of complexity and design and that is why you also believe the the pyramids have been created and which one is is harder to make or more complex or more precise the universe or the building but in that well yeah the universe but in that sense though doesn't that would one ask okay so who made the Creator then well this is a false dichotomy it's a problem basically it's not it's not a rational thing to say I'll tell you why because if we see who made the cre Creator we have to ask the same question again who made who made the Creator yes and then we'll ask the yeah it's it's it's called infinite regress so you infinitely regress into who made this who made this right and then if everything requires another thing then nothing can exist because for you to exist you will need something else but that something else will need something else but nothing will exist then but if we exist today that means there is no infinite regress which means there is something that is always existing that created everything else so that your question proves God by definition do you know another thing I think about I think about what if our logic is just not enough to understand what happened what if we just never know it and what one part of me used to believe that okay let me let me let me what did you use to come to that conclusion didn't you use your logic it's called self-defeating argument didn't you just use your log to say that your logic is not reliable I mean I'm saying I don't know okay no but but that's using your logic yeah but like having having like a reason like makes you feel like you do know to some sense but but do you did you get what I just said you said sometimes I feel our reasoning is not reliable for everything you use your reasoning to come to the conclusion that your reasoning is not reliable you cannot do that it's called self-defeating argument we are human beings we use rationality we come to conclusions you don't do that in your life you don't say what if it's not rational that my boss is going to pay me when I finish my job you go and you do your work because you know it's rational he's going to fulfill his contract and pay you your money you you live your life expecting that you're going to die if you get hit by a car because common sense and rationality tells you that but why why is it with God do you want to apply a these inconsistent standards all of a sudden and this these logical fallacies can you say that again no it's all right look you with the message that came to you look I said you don't you live your life using your common sense and rationality you live your life you you expect to die if you get hit by a car so you wait for the car to go by first why is it with God are you using this inconsistent standards and and and irrationality because is the reason why is that you are trying to doubt God irrationally trying to do it subconsciously that is what is happening right now because you don't have rationality behind the the things you're saying and and Comm and rationality is going against everything that you're saying yeah I do see what you're saying yeah I yeah it makes sense I mean yeah but but surely so what you think basically cuz when when I used to talk to Christians or religions or people who were religious and I ask them questions like that I mean the answer is God made it be right which is which is kind of to do with what I did did I do that that's kind of what you're telling me though really in this 20 30 40 minute discussion we were doing was I telling you God said that I think I think that it would have been too many of a discussion not for for discussion okay look my friend Jeremiah I think you need to rewatch our footage maybe and what we said because I don't know what to help you there is I went on to give you a commity rational sense that you cannot have something that comes into existence from nothing the UN Universe shows complexity you shows signs of design just like it's common sense to believe that someone made your building and or you're made or whatever that it's more common sense to believe the universe has been made for Islam I've provided you with evidences and rationality evidences that Prophet Muhammad could not have up with with himself like the Prophecies of the future Etc and other evidences for Islam now to come and say in the end I just said God said this and this that's very unfair and it just shows that you're not really paying attention to what I'm saying which is really sad but I hope you do go reflect on what I said my friend but all I can do is to deliver the message and give answers to the question
