we know anything about McLendon's funeral do we know Dave would know the latest I mean I I may have heard something early on but I don't I don't remember now what it what it was good to see you I think I believe we're doing the repast here unless I'm thinking of somebody else I think we're doing the repast here still not working so um if we're able to get a SD card out of the camera in room six Tom has all my stuff I don't know where he has it but I had a whole you know rolling suitcase with an SD card change would make it well it tells you on there it's requiring one you're supposed to be able to turn it off and then go back in but it's not working because it's actually oh there's not one in there so you see no there's not one okay I'll go grab one from room six hidden [Music] okay so there's the card out of the other camera you see where it went in so it's in wow yeah how do I make it go closer further what what is oh is it this one on the top cannot output Okay so I see right there yeah there you go yeah I stole the one out of it now it says standby it looks like it's this is what it should be and now it's gone yeah so it looks like it's working I mean as long as it's going out on well Kim will check it right yeah she's gonna check it and uh it's recording uh and we're on air you press both of those buttons yeah microphones working and we're only two minutes over and and not bad for week 15. well so sound and picture and everything's good okay week 15. can't can't wait for next week so I I think we should be on air ready and good to go and hopefully it'll stay that way and uh you know in case in case it doesn't I heard that the camera's been shutting off every 10 minutes so maybe if I just speak really fast we get done in 10 minutes so let me let me have a word of prayer and we'll get started with what we're doing father I thank you Lord when we come before you today in this session to look at your word again and all that it says all that speaks to us and I I Lord I suppose that this class this course these things would not even be necessary if Christians in our age viewed the Bible the way that they're supposed to but because most of even believing Christianity out there is not Bible believing about what God has given us then we've got to be able to get together and talk about these things and look at what your word says and know how to get your truth out to others so Lord instruct Us in those things today as we come before you we ask it in Jesus name amen now who who cares about brexit you remember brexit brexit was the British exit from the European Union and they voted to leave the European Union and so it was hashed hashtagged brexit which was short for British exit if the Swedish had done it it would have been hashtag swedon I finished if the Finish had done it would have been helsinkhole uh Finn Avenue Copenhagen they would have called it dump mark instead of Denmark dump Mark if Poland did it it would have been Nolan no land uh Italy would have hashtagged quiddly uh Espana Espana would be Espanol and the French because their language so luscious could could be we out or Ade EU so anyway I don't care about brexit I'm all about checks it and chexit is the exit of the church at the rapture and most Christians many evangelicals today do not believe in checks it and so therefore that is the key word for your quiz the key word for your quiz is hashtag sit that is the key word for the quiz if you're taking this class for credit you need to know the key word and it has to have the hashtag too but that's okay because you know this this Doctrine is not subject to popular vote there's no referendum on the rapture and my point is that the reason they do not believe in it is because they do not understand it and the reason they cannot understand it is because they are not rightly dividing their Bible according to dispensation so this session gets us to reviewing God's week of seven dispensations that we talked about uh last Saturday and in the beginning God set the clock to run in a cycle of sevens because seven is the place of perfection everything completion everything's done and so you can rest and so Genesis 1 has six overnight shifts marked off by intervening days and a gap between verses one and two so day day one God says let well that's that's not even really any creation on day one just just whatever was there he let do what he said on day one day two let so it's it does say he made the firmament after he led s from leading to making and so what does not already exist that he needs he makes and he makes lights so they can divide time and be for Seasons day five let and create he lets lets the Seas bring forth life that is in them yet he creates what they bring forth and makes new things in those seas and does the same with the foul as he does with the fish or the same with the air that he does with the Seas and so day six he says let us and he makes man to have dominion so he creates a new thing in his own image and God does all that work in six days of evening and morning so when the seventh day Dawns it is not a work day it is a day of rest Unbroken by Eve by evening Nightfall to come and there's no end described for the seventh day and that structure is the biblical basis for dispensational truth so let me hit you with the high level definition a dispensation means God has six days of work and one day arrest seven times he dispenses eternal life to humanity each time a little differently so as to glorify himself perfectly the initial creation takes place outside of time before the gap when you pass the gap between Genesis 1 1 and verse 2 then you enter the bubble of human history and you have Recreation you have six days or six dispensations of redemption and one day a dispensation of rest um your development in the womb is not a recapitulation of human evolution like some evolutionary biologists say no it is actually prophetic for view of how you end up if you do not trust Jesus why because you start life like the Earth without form and empty so if you do not get saved and do not get spiritually circumcised the word of God dividing us under the Soul and Spirit from your flesh Colossians 2 verse 10 and 11 then when your body dies you lose your form you are once again formless and void so let me let me give you some ruling lines for the seven dispensations think back to the original pattern lay down in Genesis 1 and three words are significant from a dispensational standpoint light water Earth light water Earth some of the Indians or or First Nations catch this uh you know Earth Wind and Fire and all that so anyway three significant elements light originates with God turn to Isaiah chapter 5. what God creates is light because he is light and light begets like so light is opposed to Darkness throughout the Bible in God is no Darkness first John 1 5 Adam did not know he was naked because he was originally created clothed in light Isaiah 5 20 says woe unto them that call evil good and good evil that put Darkness for light and light for Darkness why because Darkness was the system created by Satan to counterfeit the light now go to Luke chapter 21 Luke 21. it is darkness is a picture in Bible type which stands for Satan's World System counterfeiting the kingdom of God so you've got Light number two water water signifies human nature and its instability as Luke 21 verse 25 says and there shall be signs in the Sun and in the moon and in the stars and upon the Earth distress of nations with perplexity the Sea and the waves roaring now that Clause makes no sense that the Sea and the waves always Roar in certain spots along the coastline it only makes sense if if that water is a Bible picture and Bible type of the instability of the Nations at that time so Caesar a picture of the mass of humanity and it's unregenerate undependable unstable State third Earth which is land given to One Nation to rule that's Israel First Corinthians 10 verse 32 give none offense neither to the Jews nor to the Gentiles to occupy the land and rule the Earth so light typifies those who have a new birth the church water typifies the Gentiles but Earth belongs to the Jews they will inherit it they will rule over Gentiles on it so the Symmetry the dispensations I think is rather self-evident and there's a correspondence between God's plan and God's word in what I would call a symmetry of the biblical dispensational pattern and since you have that chart I've charted that for you on your handout then I'm going to go over it right now instead of actually looking at it and not everybody believes in dispensational theology that is an understatement uh it is maybe more correct to say almost everybody does not believe in a dispensational theology because even most who style themselves as evangelicals do not so Torah him flow n.t Wright poor NT Wright Theologian popular with Rob Bell Brian Mclaren and Andy Stanley he's a good example Nicholas Thomas Wright right is death on dispensationalism and yet he sees the Bible as a play with five Acts so in essence he's saying he believes in five dispensations that's just the hypocrisy you can't I mean even even at someone as much of a scholar is Right cannot get away from it and so people who reject dispensational theology claim that since all scripture is for us you cannot divide it into that which is to us and that is which is not to us which is all that is is dispensations it's just dispensational theology to say well yeah that's Forest but it's not to us and this is to us and we got to get our Doctrine there but you know so okay what do we do with second Timothy 3 16 all is profitable does that contradict second Timothy 2 15 saying that it well it is profitable but it has to be rightly divided so in actuality those two verses complement each other they do not contradict each other and to the men of God in second Timothy 3 16 everything the body in the Bible is given for our prophet but while it is all written for us it is not all written to us therefore to the Workman of God in second Timothy 2 15 we get meaning out of what God inspired by paying attention to these dispensations because and this is our first point for study all scripture is profitable when rightly divided when wrongly divided or when not divided the truth of God is changed into a lie was made most unprofitable or otherwise there's such a collusion and such a crash in such a mess and and and so much confusion that it's unprofitable so that means second Timothy 2 15 becomes the key to enabling second Timothy 3 16 to function now turn to Psalm 77 why did God do it this way well because it takes effort the word studies also translated labor God makes it so that Christians who are too slothful to put forth effort will not get the same truth that diligent Christians get and you don't have to be smart intellectual a scholar go to Seminary have degrees none of that is valid none of that matters in terms of God giving you truth of what matters in God giving you truth is that you will study and not study the things they study I mean they do research in a lot of places that is irrelevant compared to the truth that God has for us so it's no wonder that the majority of Christians today only use their Bible for devotional reading and more often than not they neglect their Bible for other books to substitute for their Bible for devotional reading and so we want a life application Bible with all the applications filled in because we're we're too far removed from the Holy Spirit to see our own applications and so we want The Message Bible because that is immediately understandable to us even in our carnality because the goal of all modern translations is to give a version of the Bible understandable to a lost man without preaching without the ministry of the Holy Spirit but this is our second point translation speaks even when we are dead in sins okay but our second point for study is that God rewards energy in other words by study in his word so that you will not be encouraged in your laziness in terms of your walk with him uh Psalm 77 verse 6 I call to remembrance my song in the night I commune with mine own heart and my spirit made diligent search you cannot do that just one time in your life every day you need fresh bread why is it so important for you to read your Bible and pray because it is the only way to to remember it's the only way to remember you've got to read and review otherwise you don't have what you need at the time and giving somebody a assignment counseling assignment a couple of weeks ago and that assignment for them was read five Psalms a day and three chapters of the Epistles a day and if you do that you'll get through both of them in one month's time and you know then you know report back is they're like wow I mean I cannot believe how what I need exactly for that right day is right there and in somewhere in those five Psalms and those particular three chapters of say 87 chapters of Paul's Epistles and you know either somewhere in those three and um you know that that is what you have that is the type of relationship you have to have you can't just take a class in lfbi or or go to D2 and get all the notes in your white margin and think that you have arrived and you've earned an award you get the perfect attendance award in Sunday school and you can stop and sit and be seen because you are spiritual no you got to keep learning uh you got to keep reviewing you have to keep what you are learning fresh if you don't review you you don't keep what you had and so that's why the vast majority of Christians today really understand very little of their Bible and they both just about being content with simple things and then they're satisfied with salvation they have no desire for searching they're not approved unto God they think themselves spiritually even though they're slothful and so they stray into wrong paths and their excuse says but I prayed about it and those who boast that they only take the whole Bible are still really pseudo-dispensationalists because everybody divides between an Old Testament and a new testament everybody divides that much those two dispensations I mean I I don't know if anyone uh requiring that we get to Heaven by rebuilding the temple and making sacrifices so even though they you know do not rightly divide uh they still have a penchant for requiring us to bring in the Kingdom on Jesus behalf that's what they think that we're about so this is just a nugget of contemporary theology they require us to bring in the Kingdom on Jesus behalf through things like so-called Christian reconstructionism or Dominion theology or theonomics meaning they apply biblical law to human governments for the advancement of the already present Kingdom there's no Millennium they are all millennial they're prediced in their interpretation Revelation other places it all happened in the past kingdoms already here the church is it uh you know we just need to make human governments uh submits to what the church is doing and yet those who do rightly divide the word into dispensation still believe that the whole Bible is for us I mean we believe the whole Bible we believe it is for us but the bottom line is that finding these distinctions in the word of God is the difference between being a child of God and a man of woman man or woman of God in your maturity and to your community it's the difference between that or being like these other folks that in terms of Salvation they do not know whether the spit or wearing their watch is it baptizing babies is it getting baptized and you know my friend's bathtub and then receiving the Holy Ghost is it well what is it so do you want to be a man or woman of God first mention of being a man of God's Deuteronomy 33 verse 1 where Moses is called the man of God and afterwards you find about 70 verses in the Old Testament that use that phrase man of God so when you study it out I think here's what you find a man of God speaks on behalf of God because he knows what God says and so he has an authoritative Bible to preach authoritatively now we have a lot of people and Evangelical them who are halfway there and bless their hearts they preach the Bible authoritatively but often not from an authoritative Bible but okay that's you know the reasons that it's lay at a cnh so but a man of God is a spokesman for God because he knows the scriptures of God and in the Old Testament he knew it either from the spirit of God directly or the word of God preserved or the appearance of God as the angel of the lord Timothy is the only person in the New Testament called a man of God and he's called that twice why because by the time you get to Timothy visions and dreams stop because now you've got an almost totally completed revelation I mean by the time you get second Timothy you've got all of the Revelation for the church or pastors I mean everything that is to us so what does it mean to be a man or woman of God today well that's our third point for study only the person who rightly divides all scripture and becomes god-spokesperson based on what was learned is truly a man or woman of God you you cannot be a man of God in a biblical sense without being a dispensationalist I I don't think so because otherwise you do not really understand what God has spoken so you can't really speak it to others you you have to know sound Doctrine so to become a man or woman of God you know you can't remain a child of God or a baby of God and you know you got to get to the meat of God not just the milk and if you remain an infant in truth you will never be approved as a Workman the Workman in the word has to know how to rightly divide it the soldier that God honors has to know how to handle the sword of the spirit turn to Luke Chapter 24. now I can sympathize with those who start studying their Bible and they started studying it dispensationally but they give up because when you start studying anything new it's confusing but if you persevere learn the vocabulary God's vocabulary think about it well then you get the hang of seeing dispensational truth and I'm I'm toying this idea and I think uh Lord willing next Saturday last session I'm just going to take uh you know probably the worst places the hardest places in the Bible understand and bring it out and say okay now with what we've learned let's do it let's try and experiment let's go to the lab and let's see what we can do with this but it holds a you know it opens a whole different level of application than you ever got before um the the Evangelical world gets their application out of the historical because that's all they're all about the historical um Apple a historical critical Viewpoint of the Bible we can get it out of sound Doctrine so watch Luke 24 32 and the Emmaus disciples they said one to another did not our heart burn within us when he Jesus who appeared after his resurrection talked with us by the way and while he opened to us the scriptures two disciples on Resurrection morning heading to Emmaus they're heartbroken and they did not need to be I mean they knew what had happened but they did not understand what it meant if they had understood what it meant from their Old Testament they would have been happy and it took Jesus coming alongside them and teaching them the Bible dispensationally before they understood it so he had to rightly divide the messiah's sufferings from his glory so now you know let me talk about dispensations versus principles the enemies of dispensational truths say that we teach that under the Old Testament people were saying by works or say by the law and yet they're saved by grace through faith and I think the reason they make that charge is because they don't understand the difference between a Bible dispensation and Bible principles and if you don't understand this distinction well then you you might become a hyper dispensationalist and get messed up salvation by grace through faith that's a fixed principle even when that faith has to be displayed by a god-defined work now go to Hebrews chapter 4 they put a Scarlet robe on Jesus Matthew 27 28 in other words a robe is red as the blood that he shed but it was also a purple robe Mark 15 17 John 19 verse 2 and purple is for rich rich people and royalty so Paul shows us in Hebrews 11 how how one salvation principle runs like a thread of Scarlets all the way through the Bible uh now watch uh so like if if you would just uh before we get to Hebrews 4 preview Hebrews could not sacrifice a lamb or paint her doorpost like the Jews had just done and getting out of Egypt so what Joshua's Men tell her to do is Tie a yellow ribbon on the old oak tree no no she's to bind a line of scarlet thread in her window and anyone in the home of that home that had a Scarlet thread in the window uh anyone in there was saved Joshua 2 verse 18. so there's there's red and purple there's Redemption and a kingdom and everything done in Hebrews 11 is done by faith but that does not change the fact that God dispenses eternal life in different ways down Through the Ages now note the similarity a principle but do not forget the variableness of dispensation by faith Abel offered a sacrifice but he had to offer it Noah didn't offer a sacrifice he built an ark I mean talk about works but he did it by faith by faith Abraham obeyed God's call and left her and when he got to Mariah he would have offered up Isaac by faith Moses forsook Egypt and kept a Passover uh Rahab didn't do any of that but but by faith she received the spies and then did what they told her sacrificing a lamb she could not do but binding a Scarlet line or she could do that so fourth point for study is that faith is the way to approach God every time but what Paul calls the work of faith first Thessalonians 1 2 Thessalonians 1 Romans 16 26. the labor of faith it changes in each dispensation and as James points out Faith always displays itself otherwise it's stillborn I mean we have to display it but only in that sense of just believe on Jesus for everlasting life I mean all you got to do really is act to your will and pray you know you pray confess him as Lord I mean the easy peasy so the way here in Hebrews 4 Hebrews chapter 4 the way Paul describes it for the Hebrew his Hebrew Brethren is like this Hebrews 4 verse 2 for unto us was the Gospel preached as well as unto them uh those Hebrews who are falling short of entering into God's rest and are therefore departing from God after they found him in Jesus so so who thee them he is talking who are the them that he is talking about you have to go all the way back to Hebrews 3 verse 12 to find him but that's who he's talking about gospel who's preached to us as well as unto those other Hebrews who found him and then went back but the word preached did not profit them not being mixed with faith in them that heard it so if someone believes the gospel today he's already entered into rest as verse 3 tells us Okay so Paul's mixing up here word of God is multivalent verse three okay that's us we're already we are already entered into God into his rest uh and that is the multivalence multiple simultaneous applications of scripture to past and future Hebrews so in Paul's day there were Hebrews who rejected the gospel for the work system at the temple they did that in the book of Acts they were only in all about the Mitzvah the the the meriting of entering God's Rest by their own adherence to God's commands in the Torah and they're still about that today every Orthodox Jews is all about that um I mean he doesn't have a temple to go to but all this other stuff that there's sages and rabbis came up with that's what they're about but also in Paul's day there were Hebrews who believed the gospel but fell into unbelief that's what he's talking about here in the book of Hebrews they lost it by Falling Away from the finished work of Christ to go back to sacrifices at the temple instead and in the tribulation there will be Hebrews who believe the gospel but do not endure to the end like Jesus told them they were going to have to Matthew 24 13. and they fall out of belief into unbelief and they are lost Hebrews 3 12. they have to endure to the end uh for it to seal their salvation in Sabbath rest we have to endure hardness as a good soldier and endure afflictions but we are already sealed so II Timothy 2 35 and 4 5 we've got endure hardness and and and endure is a good soldier for the sake of the Gospel so they're always been those who reject the gospel outright but their two generation generations of Hebrews one in the 40-year transition transition between 80 30 and 80 70 the cross and the destruction of the temple and the other in the future seven year transition from the Rapture to the second Advent and they can get unsaved miss their Kingdom dispensation if their belief is not mixed with labor or if their labor is not mixed with faith so now watch Hebrews 4 verse 11 let us there labor therefore to enter into that rest now Gentiles don't the church doesn't we don't you and I don't have to like I said we've already sealed with the Holy Spirit but Paul's not writing to us is he this not to us it's for us it's not to us let let us and we're ready to find who The let the US is the US and the them we know who they are so we know who he we've identified it's exactly who the title of the book says it's to let us Hebrews labor therefore to enter into that rest I mean Hebrews who are standing in one of these two transitions past or future and we got a labor enter into that rest which is the Millennium lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief as those who fell in the wilderness of the desert and the after The Exodus and never reach the promised land faith alone will not save them if they take the mark of the beast so that's the that's that's the unforgivable sin right there that is a sin unto death so if they take the mark of the beast or they turn back to Temple sacrifices so you do not strictly speaking have to labor to Merit the gospel and yet faith is mixed verse two with Works how so because if they believe the gospel they've so got a labor to enter into the rest of Christ's Kingdom return because the rest is not in them getting saved like it is for us the rest for them is a dispensational Sabbath rest of the millennial Kingdom because the salvation of these Hebrews is not sealed like ours is by God second Corinthians 1 verse 21 and 22 with the Holy Spirit Ephesians 1 13. so the future Hebrews after the Rapture of the church can lose their salvation if they do not labor to get all the way to the end of the tribulation or the end of their life if need be and then enter the dispensation of the millennial Kingdom so you ought to Circle and connect the words mixed faith and labor in order to get rest and belief or unbelief mixed faith and labor in order to get rest and either belief or unbelief so something has to be done as an expression of their faith in one dispensation it's bringing sacrificial lamb and another it is trusting Jesus for everlasting life Believing on his name and receiving him the principle of faith is the same but the dispensing of eternal life by faith has changed now let me explain this from another angle from the angle of principles Bible principles are fundamental rules on which right action is based which will glorify God turn to Deuteronomy chapter 7. the principle of Justice spans all dispensations God's righteousness spans all dispensations Cain lived before the law but God's justice was still offended whenever he murdered Abel we live after the law but his Justice is still offended if we break the command to not kill and so forth the principle of Grace is also unchangeable and operates even in regard to Israel in the Old Testament you'll notice this in Deuteronomy 7. did not set his love upon you nor choose you because you were more number than any people for you were the fewest of all people but because the Lord loved you why did God choose Israel well through no cause in themselves he loved them because he loved them not because they were lovable not because they made themselves lovable and not because he foresaw that they would one day be lovable uh this is unconditional love right here that there was no reason in me for God to send his Spirit to draw me and give me Faith to believe in Jesus it was totally based on his free Grace and I illustrate this with the principle of faith before the law Abraham before the law David under the law on us after the law imputation so Romans 4 6 even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works because David had what was called the sure mercies that means certain absolutely certain mercies and that is why God did not take his holy spirit from him even after he committed adultery and murder and God did not kill him I mean he was a picture in Bible type of what God was going to be doing with us imputation means something received from God by faith Abraham David was a man after God's Own Heart he had that kind of Faith Abraham is an example David is a prophecy and we are what Paul is talking about so faith is a principle which spans dispensations as all principles do secondly regarding dispensations you've got principles of God that have to do with rules which govern character and nature you got dispensations of God which have to do with his dealings with men and women and how he imparts his life to us in given periods of time and testing turn to Luke Chapter 16. uh not not for the same verses we looked at last week Luke 16 the dispensation of the law where God was dispensing eternal life through rituals at the temple that was given to Moses John 1 17. I mean the only god-given religion there ever was the dispensation of the grace of God where God is dispensing eternal life through the gospel without reference to keeping any ceremonial law was given to Paul Ephesians 3 2 and First Corinthians 9 17. therefore Bible dispensations are the way ways that God dispenses and distributes eternal life over a period of time and it is the system by which he administers and manages salvation in any age and I guess you say it is it is the way by which he tests Humanity according to one certain aspect of a principle in a sense conscience human government and so forth so Luke 16 verse 16. the law and the prophets in other words the Old Testament were until John so that is a dispensational boundary speaking of John the Baptist since that time the kingdom of God is preached and every man presseth into it okay the Kingdom of Heaven used to be the big thing as promised and promoted in the prophets and preached by both John and Jesus at the first Kingdom of Heavens at hand but John the Baptist is beheaded before Luke chapter 9. so the Kingdom of Heaven slips into mystery form as described in Matthew 13 and Beyond and now the kingdom of God is the big thing and it looks like everybody wants into it and the problem is that it is not in full force until the death of the testator Hebrews 9 verses 16 and 17 which doesn't happen until Luke 23 when Christ dies on the cross so from Luke chapter 9 to Luke chapter 23 is kind of an intermediate state where the Old Testament is the only scripture they have but elements of New Testament salvation start popping up in preparation because I mean the law and the prophets were until John and we're not quite to the Cross yet but this stuff starts popping up in the gospels and while dispensations change Bible principles remain the same so there was a change in the way to the fall to change is uh that is a dispensation how can you say you are not a dispensationalist now Covenant theologians make that two separate covenants and they only have three and and it's all made up anyway in their minds uh so they don't see it dispensationally but there was a change in the way God dealt with people after the flight of Noah there was a change the way God dealt with Abraham because now all these all these dudes are messing up it doesn't matter if I just deal with in in a sense or I deal with one in their conscience or I deal with all of them as a nation of human government it doesn't matter I mean I give them all these things and they fail every time but Abraham I'm going to give you a promise unconditionally not dependent on you here's what here's what I'm going to do and another change with Moses and another change when Jesus shows up and so when we say that dispensations change what we really mean is the very terms of acceptance with God change so at the first their blood sacrifices all the way from Abel Abraham and in a sense that runs all the way through the dispensations but then with Abraham's circumcision is added ouch and after that there's obedience in the whole law Moses and then when John shows up you find the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins Mark chapter 1 verse 4 to Cornelius you know so from John the Baptist to Cornelius it is repentance for the you know baptism repents for their remission sins well that also covers Acts chapter 2 and that's why everybody goes to Acts 2 38 for what they're doing all the whole Pentecostal crowd and Church of Christ crowd and Christian Church crowd and uh charismatic crowd and Nava and IHOP and Vineyard everybody else well they're all messed up because that that okay that but that was John the Baptist stuff and only until Cornelius and then saw now Jesus had showed up as the king of both kingdoms including the spiritual kingdom of God transcending the israel-only kingdom of heaven with that baptism of John well but finally you know Peter gets to Cornelius a gentile a full-blooded Gentile and lo and behold uh Holy Spirit baptizes Cornelius Before Peter can finish his sermon it's not based on baptism and water it's not based on laying on of hands it's like boom and so God finally baptizes with the Holy Ghost all who believe in his son for everlasting life First Corinthians 12 13. so if you do not rightly divide your Bible you apply the terms of acceptance from another dispensation to our dispensation uh that's I mean that's what they're all about that's what all the anglicans the lutherans the methodists I mean there I mean Catholics are just total pagans but as Mainline denominations that they are all about the fact that you need to baptize your children as the boundary marker of the elect and you want them to be the elector that they'll be saved and just so that we cover the fact that they can't really make an adult decision for salvation well you can have a Godfather or do they have godmothers I don't know fairy godmothers but you can have a God you know you can have somebody could be the godparents The Godfather your child which means they're supposed to train them up in the way they should go after they it's like well what are parents for none of it makes sense and and and and that's because they do not rightly divide their Bible and uh so they end up you know either either starting a cult group or getting involved in the in what what's here already and sending people to Hell instead of Heaven hello somebody uh so the heir of the Church of Christ Disciples of Christ uh Christian Church Jehovah's Witnesses Mormon Seventh-Day Adventists all occult groups but also the error of Holy Trinity Brompton Al Alpha course 24 7 red moon rising prayer movement I hot prayer movement 24 24 7 for heaven's sakes give me a break even God you know took a break the red you know so so Vineyard churches Nava the Hillsong Channel and most of TBN that is contemporary theology they get their terms of acceptance from places like Matthew 10 22 endure to the end to be saved or Acts 2 38 repent believe be baptized in order to be saved and then get your own familiar spirit by thinking it's the baptism of the Holy Ghost or Hebrews 6 6 Doctrine from transitional books that go to hell on the Bible itself because they refuse to rightly divide it that turn in Numbers chapter 21 today God refuses works under the law God required works as an expression of faith but that was only the dispensation that was not the principle the principle was still grace through faith so it was it was not that the works themselves could save you apart from Faith Psalm 40 verse 6 and many other Testament places but those Works were required by God during that time if you had Faith as an acceptable expression of your faith so our fifth point for study is all the saints of all the ages have been saved Just One Way by the merits of Christ's blood yet they have not all been saved by faith in Christ's blood I mean some of them are just the faith of a sacrifice a a a a a lamb a ram a bull uh the blood that shed uh you know by time you get to John the Baptist like no let repent and be baptized for the remission of sins so Jesus was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world Revelation 13 8 so the principle is the finished work of Christ for acceptance with God even if you don't know anything about the cross to look forward to it so the dispensation the principle is finished work of Christ the dispensation might be an altar uh numbers 21 verse 8 and the Lord said unto Moses make thee a fiery Serpent and set it upon a pole and it shall come to pass that everyone that is bitten when he looketh upon it shall live now turn to Matthew 16. the Old Testament Saints saw the blood of the Lamb or in this case I saw a serpent on the pole uh a picture in Bible type of Jesus on the cross uh becoming sin for us as he bore our sins and uh when they saw the blood of a lamb or whatever else God told them to look at God counted that as the blood of his son based upon them expressing their faith in bringing the required sacrifice or looking on the serpent on the pole I mean I got button however even with that eventually you know they had to end up beating it to death and getting rid of it because they made an idol out of it so at the bottom line in every age in all dispensations a man or woman is saved by simply believing God's word and doing what he says but God's purpose for eternity and God's full Plan of Salvation was progressively unfolded over time until you get to Paul we can look back and we can see Christ in the types and in the shadows but until Christ the anti-type came they did not know those things were types they simply had to believe and follow scripture believe and follow God's words and then the type worked on their behalf Matthew 16 verse 21 from that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples how that he must go into Jerusalem and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes wow I mean priests at the temple scribes who are the walking concordances that know the Old Testament and know those types but don't know their types and they know the word of God the elders Leading the People all you know the 12 tribes and but he but they are going to kill him and he'll be raising in the Third Day verse 22 then Peter took him and began to rebuke him saying be it far from the Lord this shall not be unto thee well obviously Peter did not look forward to the cross in order to get saved I mean even the apostles had no concept to the Cross Luke 18 turn to Luke chapter 18 the prophets who wrote they themselves did not understand the relationship of the messiah's sufferings to his glory I mean they saw the glory they liked the glory they thought when he came the first time is all about the glory if they didn't see the glory like like you know the Old Testament talked about the glory well then he must he not quite be the Christ I know who he is I mean these signs wonders miracles I got to believe something but I and that was nicodemus's problem I don't know what to believe Luke 18 verse 31 then he took unto him the twelve and said unto them behold we go up to Jerusalem and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the son of man the Gentiles and shall be mocked and spitefully entreated and spitted on and they shall Scourge him and put him to death at six things and the third day will rise again and they understood none of these things and the saying was hid from them neither knew they the things which were spoken why because it is Paul who reveals the rest of the story by the preaching of the Cross First Corinthians 1 18. you know in all the modern translations get away from the blood get away from the cross get away from preaching shame on them because dispensational theology is 0.6 lets us link the preaching of the Cross to the faith of the past so that we understand that with everything God required he always had the finished work of Christ in mind because in his mind Christ is the lamb slain before the foundation of the world but at the same time you cannot anticipate future Revelation and read it back into the past so let's let me end with a summary of dispensational theology turn to Luke chapter 7. the principles and the dispensations are never in Conflict but always in harmony the dispensations change but they always simply make another way of displaying the principle if God says bring a lamb faith will do it Abel did it was accepted not because the blood of bulls and goats can take away sin Hebrews 10 4 but because he came to God by faith in God's words prescribing the way so when John the Baptist comes as the man of God speaking for God because he knows the word of God what did the canes of that day do I wonder Luke 7 verse 29 and all the people that heard John the Baptist and the and the publicans Justified God being baptized with the baptism of John no no not scribes elders and Priests but publicans and people did but the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the Council of God against themselves being not baptized to him which means you know the Council of God would have said I'm going to send Elijah and he's going to do this and you better listen to him and at that point in the timeline of human history John the Baptist Was Elijah and they weren't listening to him uh they rejected God's counsel even though it hurt it was only hurting them because they refused to be baptized repent and be baptized for the mission sins in advance in order to prepare themselves for the kingdom because the kingdom was at hand uh Nehemiah chapter 8 the baptism of John was tied to the counsel of God for them but they would not trust and Obey so they were not saved because there is no other way and um they that you know not that they could be saved yet in the sense that we are anyway but they could not be made subjects in Christ's Kingdom and they did not enter God's rest when God now says that salvation is dispensed without law Romans 3 21 without works Romans 4 5 freely by Grace Romans 3 24 through Christ's blood Ephesians 1 7 according to God's mercy Titus 3 5 as the gift of God Ephesians 2 8 9 faith will say man this greatest news in the world as a matter of fact it is so great for me I got to get it out to others I believe and I receive because I cannot refuse Nehemiah chapter 8 verse 12. and all the people went their way to eat and to drink and to send portions and to make great Mirth why because they had understood the words that were declared unto them that's our seventh point for study the dispensations Do Not conflict with God's principles they declare them they explained them truth is is horizontal or as Archie Bunker said it's you know when when Meathead smacked him in the head with his uh fishing pole hold that thing vert his uncle so so truth is horizontal runs on a timeline through all the ages unchanged unchangeable but revealing that truth the revelation of that truth as vertical meaning that God reveals it from Heaven down to mankind Progressive line upon line precept upon precept Paul knew more than Moses who knew more than Abraham who knew more than Noah who knew more than Abel but then Abel kind of had a face-to-face relationship with God and so the more direct contact you had with God the less you needed you know you I mean just it's a sliding scale uh today we don't see God at all and so okay but it's why grace through faith plus nothing so it's all even we are all even in the end and the dispensations you know had principles are horizontal slicing through every age dispensations are vertical being revealed one right after the other I say right after one after the other even with transitions as we pointed out and limbo times as God moved more and more fully to declare as principles over time and that is why you have to look at Earth's earliest stages to understand God's plan and you have to be a dispensationalist in order to understand God's Bible and take your place in God's plan you've got to be a dispensationalist because of the pattern that God lays down in the six days opening Genesis turn to Luke Chapter 4. Genesis is the foundation of Beginnings it gives us the pattern for everything else in the Bible in history Genesis 1 takes you from creation to recreation in seven simple steps ending on the octave or the eighth step of a new Heaven A New Earth but accomplishing the same plan so this then is our dispensational theological theology summary the original creation was the Dominion of Lucifer before his fall Luke 4 4 verses 5 to 7. the devil taking Jesus up into high mountain showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and the devil said unto him all this power see that here I come all his power will I give thee and the glory of them for that is delivered unto me and whomsoever I will I give it if thou therefore will worship me all shall be thine okay second Corinthians 4 4 reinforces that Ephesians 2 2 reinforces that Satan is this world's God this he is the spirit behind every Idol he's the prince of the power of the air because he was given that dominion and since it was given to him he was able to offer its kingdoms to Jesus they were his to give away second chaos creation then chaos without four man void was caused by his Rebellion third Calamity of a flood judged Satan and put the Earth as the Lord's footstool so it's not the flood of Noah it's the flood between Genesis 1 1 and verse 2 it quarantined sin in our universe and it separated light from Darkness then you've got the renovation of the chaotic Earth after that Calamity and that forms the pattern of God's ways with humanity and all of human history be turning Colossians chapter one it shows us The Plan of Redemption in dispensational stages of work and rest fifth these dispensations form the key to rightly dividing the word of God so that God's purpose for eternity can be understood and our responsibility and it can be carried out and then finally the purpose of each dispensation next to last I should say the purpose of each dispensation is to show how Humanity's work will always fail and we've got to totally rely on God's grace for deliverance so everything in our society argues exactly the opposite I don't care if you're watching the NFL draft or if you're watching you know they put news on the newscast but every newscast has to have a human interest story and almost every human interest story is why how someone came or overcame some impossible obstacle and at the bottom line every one of them say you can do anything you can do anything I mean that it's exactly the opposite you can do anything okay well let's see how that works for you so salvation is by grace through faith in every age Colossians 1 25 whereof I made a minister according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you to fulfill the word of God I mean that's what finally completes the Bible this is what finally completes the Bible even this mystery even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from Generations but now has made manifest to his Saints to whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles okay what is it that completes the word of God it is this mystery Christ in you the hope of glory so the mystery which has been hid from ages and and God would make known among the Gentiles what is the riches and Glory of that mystery because that mystery is now made manifest to his Saints so God's plan all along was to use Christ's body the church to make manifold display of the wisdom of God's grace first Peter 4 10 through the gospel because that is what glorifies him and exalts his son so finally since our life is a spectacle spectacle to the universe Ephesians 3 10 we've got to discover our Soul's part in God's purpose for eternity uh this we will now begin to do with certain ruling lines rules for rightly dividing first there is an unfolding of seven dispensations within time seven dispensations in God's outworking of his eternal purpose and because they are at heart a period of testing they all take place in time everything that is constructed has structure even inorganic things and that's why you know that Evolution cannot be true because even the inorganic things with structure have that structure because of the rules and the tools of the designer so the Bible has structure because it is a construction of divine thought the English reformer miles Coverdale in his preface to the first complete printed translation of the Bible and English in 1535 a version which we now call the great Bible because of how great big it was he wrote some great words on Bible study I mean it's amazing I mean if they'd only followed this through it shall greatly help you to understand scripture if thou Mark not only what is what is spoken or written but of whom and to whom and with what words at what time where to what intent with what circumstances making context King considering what goeth before and what followeth turn to Luke 16 and Hebrews 9 Luke 16 left hand Hebrews 9 the right we've seen the biblical basis background and definition and description of seven dispensations uh last last Saturday but there are strong implications from dispensational truth which are almost totally missed by lukewarm laodicean Christians in Evangelical them and in Baptist Hood today poor ahemplow you cannot understand the Life of Christ or any other part of your Bible without rightly dividing it so there are five Rules by which the word of God must be rightly divided to arrive at a right interpretation why because each dispensation is its own Department of Truth so so here are the rules for rightly dividing those Bible dispensations these are five rules for proper Bible application they are some of the rules for how to study the Bible or biblical interpretation or what we discuss you know what the smart people call hermeneutics uh first do not take truth belonging now having said that you will not get this in any work on hermeneutics so you can pick up in any Christian bookstore you get a lot of other stuff you will not get this you will not get it you will not get this in any Bible College that I know of you will not get this in seminary no matter what degree you get number one do not take truth belonging to one part of the past and read it into another part of the past almost everything in the four gospels is closing out the Old Testament dispensation pour a hemplow compare these these two passages uh Luke 16 verse 16. the law and the prophets were until John since that time the kingdom of God is priests and every man presses into it okay Hebrews 9 though Hebrews 9 verse 16. for where a testament is there must also of necessity be the death of the testator for a testament is a force after men are dead otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth so New Testament isn't not in force until the actual death of Christ on the cross now get Matthew 10 and Matthew 28 Matthew 10 left hand Matthew 28 to write the law and the prophets last until the death of John the Baptist uh now that John's out of the way it's just Jesus and he'd already given him the rules for his kingdom in The Sermon on the Mount uh the next Covenant Grace and Truth is not fully in effect until after he dies on the cross and that means the Covenant and new the old Covenant promised land for a kingdom but Christ is not just Messiah King to the Jews because the New Testament is a marriage covenant in which he becomes the bridegroom to the church So within that time frame of the Life of Christ there is a period of proclamation to the kingdom than a period of rejection of the Kingdom and you cannot take truth pertaining to the proclamation and read it into truth pertaining to the rejection those are all both past but you can't take one part of the pastor and it's another part of the past now let me illustrate that irrefutable idea Matthew 10 verse 5. these 12 Jesus set forth and commanded them saying go not into the way of the Gentiles and into any City the Samaritans enter ye not but go rather to the lost sheep of the House of Israel and if the word of God's Not rightly divided then this command is still binding today if it belongs to all people for all times then it is universal in its application today but if in fact it is capable of doctoral application to you then notice how you have a contradiction in your own Bible Matthew 28 verse 18 and Jesus came and spake unto them saying all power is given unto me in heaven and in Earth go ye therefore and teach All Nations not just Samaritans not just Israel baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Ghost teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I've commanded you so you can see what we're talking about that's why it is so important to scan the plan and rightly divide the word of God I I mean you see what a difference this makes in the way we approach the gospels and the life of Christ it solves dispensational Theology and understanding solves 90 percent of all apparent contradictions and answers 90 percent of all deviant cult doctrines all you've got to do is recognize that the First Command in Matthew 10 is given in connection with the proclamation of the Kingdom of Heaven the second command is after both the king and Kingdom have been rejected and that's why Matthew 10 5 starts go not and Matthew 2 18 begins go ye there's no contradiction as long as you do not read one part of a past dispensation into another part here's our eighth point for study God is the same he is yesterday today and forever but the way he deals with humanity is different according to his word that is the whole idea behind dispensational theology it is it is why it solves all Bible contradictions and Theological misapplications it saves you from heresy that will send you to hell second do second rule do not take truth belonging to the past and read it into the present look at Exodus chapter 31. let me give you a perfect example that I preserved from a newsletter correspondence from years ago back at kcbt they had a TV program at drew a lot of mail and I was The Ghost Writer uh for Jeff and a lot of things but also in in answering those letters we didn't get heavy mail back then and so I had to rely right the replies and so a lady had written and here was here's what she said Dear Sir my first question is why do people choose the first day of the week to attend church instead of the seventh day which is Saturday we don't attend church anymore because we've started reading and searching our scriptures at home from Friday to Saturday Sundown my second question what about holidays which ones do god-believing people celebrate in Jeremiah 10 isn't the Bible referring to Christmas we're not celebrating Christmas this year unless we find out different what about the holy days and feasts God says to keep from generation to generation I teach my children about the blessing things we will get and about Satan and that all sins will be forgiven except bless me against the Holy Spirit we love God and want to be what is good and it's hard work the churches seem off track to us since we've been doing our own reading the dress codes are not what they were for women and I don't see how women feel it's okay to wear jeans and slacks to church when it is dressing like men according to the Bible now some of what she says is akin to going on today and to the political cult called Q Anon and to their researchers and to old-time independent fundamental Baptists so she ends her letter by saying if you believe we're on the wrong track please let us know so I did I mean what she gave is this a succinct conglomeration of Seventh-Day adventism Herbert W Armstrong's worldwide Church of God and Garner Ted Armstrong and and Mormonism and Jehovah's Witnesses and most every modern American cult rolled into one it's kind of like uh you know I don't know what is what is what is the best candy bar because it's got all the stuff in it I don't know if his Snickers are million million you know a hundred thousand dollars I don't know what but it's like if you get one candy bar it just has everything this is it and I don't know how you would have answered this lady but the short answer is you cannot take truth from one Department belonging to the law and read it into the department belonging to Grace so I pointed out to her out Acts chapter 15 is included in her Bible so she can make the right dispensational change from the law of Moses to the law of the spirit of God in Christ Jesus Acts chapter 15 is a stop sign and you can not run it without a fatal accident and I pointed out that at our church we got somebody meeting almost every day of the week not just Saturday I mean obviously we're here on Saturday I guess we're okay by her standards but I told her she stole God's sign to Israel by trying to keep the Sabbath day and so does Kendrick Lamar and Black Hebrew Israelites I'm just saying watch Exodus 31 verse 13 speak thou also unto the children of Israel saying verily my sabbaths ye shall keep for it is a sign between me and you throughout your Generations that ye may know that I am the Lord that does sanctify you so from Adam to Exodus 20 nobody is commanded to keep the seventh day as the Sabbath they they didn't even know what it what it was to keep it but according to this chapter if she wants to keep the Sabbath then her husband has to quit his job every seven years and I pointed that out to her also and she would need to rebuild the Temple at Jerusalem before she could start keeping the feasts in this generation now she's probably a good church lady maybe not as good as church lady on SNL but but but nobody in any church that she attended discipled her in the word of God and taught her how to rightly divide truth therefore she could not know what applied to her doctorally and what did not and so whether you're talking about worshiping on the Sabbath women wearing slacks it's all the same they do not rightly divide so third do not take truth belonging to the present and read it into the past New Testament Saints are not the same as Old Testament Saints duh uh salvation by grace through is through faith is in every dispensation that's what every dispensation proves and yet the mixture of works with faith is on a spectrum in general The More Physical God's relationship with Humanity the more Works prove your faith we live today totally by by faith not by sight reformed in covenant theology denies salvation by grace through your unfettered free wills faith because they have an unconditional election to support a limited atonement so in these calvinistic systems the boundary marker of who the elect are is sprinkling babies and for some of them still taking sacraments now that's just contemporary theology for you and yet if you check check out this irony they vilify us as saying that salvation is by works in the Old Testament well at least that'd be better than saying that the proof of election is by works in the New Testament so even though people in the Old Testament had sins forgiven without reference to the Cross they were not forgiven without reference to a blood sacrifice Abel brought an offering Genesis 4 4 Noah offered burn offerings Genesis 8 20 Abraham built altars for Bloodshed and burnt offerings Genesis 22 9. Jacob offered a sacrifice Genesis 31 54. the levitical system was predicated on sacrifices Exodus 20 verse 24 they had to trust and Obey for there is no other way and yet do not take truth belonging to the present and read it back into the past we are saved by grace through faith in a finished sacrifice it's now a finished work Old Testaments where saints were saved through faith in a continual section you're in Bible type of Christ and meant that they had to bring it oh they could stand on the street corner all day long believing that if they sacrificed an innocent lamb it would cover their sins but if they did not actually bring that sacrifice to the temple let the priests slay it put their head put their hands on its head as the blood drained out their faith was dead being without works now the difference today is that the work of faith has changed and so do not read elements of your salvation like Spirit indwelling eternal security the title sons of God bride of Christ The Mystery of the church do not read that back into the Old Testament dispensations I mean it's there but in type only because nobody except the body of Christ is the church I mean only the church is the body of Christ and that is why the Old Testament Saint does not get what we get in eternity and Heaven is different for each group Jew Gentile in church and we get the New Jerusalem as living space for the bride the Jews get the promised land as headquarters for the kingdom and Gentiles will be led to multiply and replenish this planet on the way to colonizing the cosmos so numero40 do not take truth belonging to the Future and read it into the present now turn to Revelation 14. and this is the reason people get messed up in a mid-trib post-trib theory of the Rapture most charismatics now many evangelicals do not believe that the Rapture of the church will be before the tribulation why well watch Revelation 14 1. I looked at low lamb stood on the Mount Zion and with him 140 and 4 000 having his father's name written in their foreheads well who are these people and why are they standing with Jesus in heaven at the middle of the tribulation well from Revelation 7 verses 4 to 8 we know that they are Jews from each of the 12 tribes and they have been sealed on Earth and raptured and taken to Heaven yet verse 3 says there so there's okay so so the chapter seven there on Earth Chapter 14 verse 3 they're seated Before the Throne in the third heaven that means they got raptured uh verse 4 these are they which were not defiled with women with uh Temple prostitutes and the Antichrist throwback to the religion of ancient Babylon and as existed in um uh the uh you know Middle East near East whatever you call it Old Testament times for they are virgins these are they which follow the lamb Withers whoever you goeth these were redeemed from among men being the first fruits unto God and to the lamb meaning the first fruits of tribulation Saints showing us that there is a Rapture in the middle of the tribulation but not of us our stewardship ended at least three and a half years before that and a total of seven years before the seven advents now now if these 144 thousand stand Before the Throne verse 3 we are different because we sit with Christ in his throne Ephesians 2 6. I mean there are several parts to the family of God do not read something for the future virgins back into what is meant for the present bride so some people teach that all the church will go through all the tribulations some some people teach part of the church will go through all the tribulation other people teach all the church will go through part of the tribulation and all of that mess happens when you are reading things you're reading about a future tribulation period and you read it back into the present Church age of great grace without making a right Division I mean what a mess you can make if you are not a dispensationalist so in the final analysis do not take truth belonging to the Future and read it into another part of the future get first Thessalonians 1 and 2 Thessalonians 1. first Thessalonians 1 2 Thessalonians 1. there are two second comings two raptures four resurrections and six judgments that are all still in the future um how come you don't get people into discipleship too so they can know that um all of them have to be rightly divided from each other in the Bible poor ahemplow in first and second Thessalonians we can see the two parts of the second coming okay two second comings in the future and one of them it's it's the Rapture in the church but Christ doesn't come all to the way to the Earth he just we meet we go up to meet him in the air or what we call that second coming but really it's just the Rapture and then there's the second coming so first Thessalonians 1 verse 10 and to wait for his son from Heaven whom he raised from the dead even Jesus which delivered us from the Wrath to come how how will he Deliver Us well chapter 4 verse 16 for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of the Archangel with the Trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise first then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up there's the word that is the word rapture in your Bible caught up together with them with the resurrected church so the raptured church will be brought up to meet with the resurrected Church in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so shall we ever be with the Lord after that wherefore Comfort one another with these words all right first Thessalonians Rapture part of the second coming but now now look II Thessalonians 1 verse 7. and to you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels whoa and we don't rest before then because after the Rapture we go to the Judgment seat of Christ and then we come back to earth as his occupying Invasion Force which is which is verse 10 when he shall come to be glorified in his Saints that's us and admired in all them that believe in that day meaning at this the second coming the second Advent um and you know at the end of the tribulation period And so we've tried to chart this for you because in that sense there are two parts to the second coming first Christ descends to the Earth's atmosphere to gather his body his bride to himself that is the rapture of Christ coming for his Saints it is the snatching away the catching up of the church after that at least seven years transpire and the only system that makes sense to me with with no Loose Ends hanging out is to equate those years of Daniel's 70th week with what we colloquially call the tribulation and then the last half of that week three and a half years 1260 days 42 months with what Revelation calls the Great Tribulation secondly after the tribulation Christ descends all the way to the Earth itself Zechariah 14 4 and the second time he comes with his mighty Angels his Saints so we've been judged and rewarded the Judgment seat of Christ we are now ready to participate in war we receive our Rank and commission so this is the revelation of Christ the actual second Advent of Christ now turn to Romans chapter 8 Christ comes for his people before he comes with his people and he comes for his people before the tribulation starts how do we know because the Bible says he delivered us from the Wrath that will come and and I for one don't want to weasel out of that verse Christ comes with his people after the tribulation ends or actually in order to end the tribulation there is a picture of those two phases in Old Testament typology uh Genesis 45 Joseph is a picture in Bible type of the Lord Jesus Christ first phase is when he reveals himself to his brethren in Egypt secretly alone second phase is when he sins for his father he sends chariots he sends wagons up to get his father and brings him out to meet pharaoh front of God and everybody so Christ will first present himself to his Brethren afterwards he presents his Brethren to the world and those two faces are seen in the two waitings here in Romans 8 verse 19 for the earnest expectation of the creature wadeth for the manifestation of the sons of God creation Waits for the return it waits for the Revelation it waits for the sons of God to manifest themselves in full glory and take control uh down to verse 23 look at verse 23 and not only they but ourselves also which have the first fruits of the spirit even we ourselves grown within ourselves waiting for the adoption to wit the Redemption of our body so while creation waits for the revelation of Us coming back second coming we wait for the rapture we wait for our bodies to be redeemed either in a in in but at the Rapture if we're still alive or by being resurrected at the Rapture if we are not still alive so Paul did not say the adoption to wit the resurrection of our body because the Redemption will be by rapture and not Resurrection for that last generation so when Christ comes for his people at the Rapture of the Redemption of your body takes place we go to the Judgment seat of Christ and we are formally adopted there but when Christ comes with his people the manifestation of the sons of God manifestation of your body as as glorified and perfected takes place we wait for the adoption so that creation which is waiting can see our manifestation if you read scriptures related to the Revelation and interpret them as for the Rapture than what is intended for your Comforts will become your fear and what was meant as a blessed hope will become your dread we grieve God continually by not being in our Bibles and not being organized in our study and not rightly dividing what we see because dispensationalists know there is an organization to the Bible so on the left I think the last two sheets of your handout is kind of my Bible charted out for you is that in this handout here and just shows you from top to bottom beginning to end Genesis is it yes that right there so there are seven dispensations which span the bubble of time uh the bubble of Eternity that we call time follow the rules divide them rightly so I'm going to end with the pre-millennial order of Prophecy first period of apostasy comes at the end of the church age I think we're there second the Lord removes his body of Believers first in an operation apparent only to them and and it is in that sense a secret although it was there and you know first Thessalonians 4 all along that's not I mean it's an Open Secret to us towards anybody who actually believes their Bible but it is secret because those who left behind have to guess as to what happened just like they did with Enoch's disappearance uh he will raise dead Saints he will catch away living ones so we commonly call that the Rapture the church third they're in sues a period of seven years when the Antichrist rules that event commonly called the tribulation and the Bible calls the last half of that week the Great Tribulation fourth Christ appears from Heaven openly to overthrow him and the armies of the Nations that event commonly called the battle of Armageddon although there are multiple fronts uh like on the Mount of Olives outside Jerusalem fifth then begins Christ's Thousand-Year Reign from Jerusalem that event commonly called the millennium six at the end of that Millennium Satan is loosed for a season and leads a rebellion and then finally his destruction is followed by the resurrection of the unsaved dead and their judgment at the Great quite thrown and my time is up I thank you for yours and Lord willing next week will wrap it up and tie it with the bow so you can be praying father we thank you Lord for a time in your word today thank you that we can consider these things about what to do and what not to do I mean if you don't understand the Bible dispensationally you are continually reading verses but reading them the wrong way applying them in the wrong place getting out of them the things that are not for you and Lord it is no wonder that that in Christianity there are so many denominations I mean people ask all the time well how why are there so many churches so many denominations answer everybody else not dispensationalist I think so so Lord I Thank you you've given us the truth it is such good truth the gospel is such good news Lord help us get it out we ask it in Jesus precious and Powerful name amen
