I Visited the Top 10 Places in America

America is home to some of the most famous tourist attractions in the world. And I've been to all 50 states, but I've never done the tourist attractions in any of them. So, my goal this summer is to find the number one tourist attraction in America. Here are the rules. Rule number one, we have 10 days to visit the top 10 tourist attractions in America. Rule number two, we must agree on the top 10 rankings in our bucket list journal until there's one winner. And rule number three, I must complete this challenge with my best friend, Haley. We are married. Thank you Shopify for sponsoring this series and we're starting this adventure at our first tourist attraction in Orlando, Florida. It's Disney World. We have arrived to the Grand Fian Hotel. Haley and I did a video 2 years ago where we stayed in almost every hotel at Disney World. We couldn't stay in this one because it was fully booked, but we will have to give you a tour later because right now we are going to Magic Kingdom. We purchased silly hats and we have arrived to Magic Kingdom. In terms of tourist attractions in America, this castle is probably up there with the Statue of Liberty. We're going to all four Disney World parks today as well. One of the criteria of our bucket list series is magic. I think this place is the epitome of magic. What do you think, Haley? >> It's in the title, so >> yeah, >> we'll see. >> We're only here at Disney World for one day, so we need to squeeze out as much magic as humanly possible. The weather today is piping just like we like it. By the way, this year is America's 250th birthday. They're calling it the semiquincentennial. Can you say that? >> Semiquincentennial. >> It's a fun word. Look at this word. It's just a large word. Try to say it. Go ahead. For all of the tourist attractions in this series, I'm going to be letting you know if the general consensus is underrated, overrated, or appropriately rated. And with that being said, Magic Kingdom is considered underrated. All right. For example, Valyrias left a review and said, "The best, most magical park in the world." Five stars. Anna's review might even be more helpful. Fairy tale park where everyone feels like child. Beautiful castle. Buy yourself mouse ears and enjoy being child. Five stars. Check. >> Check. >> We did that. We literally did that. I think David might be the only person who didn't have a good time. Place is terrible. Stay home. Save your time money. Waited earth just for one ride. No longer about kids. It all about money. One star. We are going to be riding the most iconic ride in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. But first, I want to see if we can meet Mickey Mouse. Guys, I got a 360 camera for this series. I've never used a 360 camera before. Is it working? >> I think so. No, >> I don't even know how to use it fully. >> Hi, Mickey. Okay, you are looking at probably the hardest working person at Disney World. Not only that, this mouse loves his wife. He showed us this picture of Minnie Mouse on the wall. How cute is that? They are relationship goals. We got a Polaroid selfie with Mickey and as we said goodbye, he hit a fire emote. We have arrived to the Seven Dwarfs mind train. >> This is good for kids, I hear. >> Basically, if you come to Disney World and you're a child, this is like the starter roller coaster. This is probably many kids' first roller coaster they ever ride in their lives, >> which is why we're starting here for me. >> Yeah. >> Haley's a little scared. She has no idea what's coming later today. First things first, we are confirming that we meet the high requirements for this ride. We do. Haley's not too far off, though. Kind of excited. Are you excited? >> Yeah, I'm so excited. >> We're tall enough. Oh my gosh, that looks fast. Oh my gosh, there's a drop. Did you know there's a drop? >> No. I thought it was for kids. >> Here goes nothing. This is our first experience of the entire bucket list. >> Oh my gosh. >> HERE WE GO. Oh my goodness. >> How was that for kids? >> For children. Oh my gosh. She's doing great up there. Hello, gentlemen. Look at all these gems. That's so cute. >> They drink those, bro. >> Haley, what do you think? >> That was way scarier than I was expecting. >> Yeah, >> like actually. >> I was shocked at my reaction. >> Yes. I don't think I got scared even once. We're technically supposed to go to the next park right now due to time, but Haley really wants to ride Space Mountain. >> Space Mountain is located in Tomorrowland at Magic Kingdom. It was built to showcase what the future could be like one day. Haley and I have arrived to Space Mountain. Space Mountain is the oldest roller coaster at Disney World, and it's probably the most intense at Magic Kingdom. Many people say that Ryan's going to get sick. He's not going to feel good on this ride. Many people are doubting my abilities of handling roller coasters with ease. >> I don't know why we're doing this. >> Oh, yeah. I guess we can't even really get footage. It's pitch black in there. >> Yeah, maybe we should just not do it. >> Yeah. >> Yeah. >> We found ourselves waiting in the line at Space Mountain. The warnings for Space Mountain are quite concerning, but it's probably the most famous ride at Disney World, and it's got to be for a good reason. My only concern is that I don't want to get motion sickness in front of my wife. What was that? Oh man, I don't feel so good. What does Mickey Mouse got to do with this? >> We managed to survive Space Mountain. We are now at the next theme park, Epcot. Now, this theme park is a bit more my speed. There's not as many roller coasters here. And remember, we're trying to find the number one tourist attraction in America, so every theme park counts. Haley, do you know what Epcot stands for? >> Yes. Eat pineapple on. >> There's a C after. >> Eat pineapple cuz on top. >> Not even close. Epcot is considered appropriately rated online. Anna is back and she called Epcot the park where you can travel the world. We went to the ride inside the big ball which was quite interesting. Five stars. Dan Raven89 said, "Without doubt, the most boring day of my life." Boring. One star. It's many people's favorite Disney theme park. It's very walkable. There's a lagoon in the middle with a big circle that's sectioned off by countries. So, in a way, it feels like you're traveling the whole world by only taking a few steps. We have a very intense agenda for Epcot. Number one, ride the Ratatouille ride that's located in France. Number two, eat lunch. Every country has its own cuisine. It seems very fun to select from. And number three, ride the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. Some say I won't be able to handle it because I get sick on rides. I say try me. I should be okay. Very excited for Epcot. Having a dream day bucket list experience. >> Yeah. >> I don't know, guys. Epcot might be my favorite Disney theme park. Everywhere you look, it's just stunning. Everyone's walking their way through different countries. And we are making our way to France. >> Oh snap. We've arrived to Rey's Ratatouille Adventure. >> It's so cute in here. >> Yes, we're in France. >> Look at the rat fountain. >> Oh, right there. Yeah. First ride at Epcot. Let's do this. The ride is from a rat's eye view. You're my little mouse. >> That was cute. >> The summary of this ride is basically Look at that little rat. That's Gustaf. >> Oh, >> is he a ghost? >> Yeah, he died. >> Oh, >> the goat. >> The Ratatouille ride takes you on an adventure through Gust's restaurant as a rat. We're rats. Look at the size of this fish. While I was distracted with the larger than-l life food products, this paranoid dude is trying to get us because we're rats in his kitchen. On one hand, I don't blame this guy at all because the plot of this movie is pretty insane. We're rats, but we're misunderstood rats. It was a good ride. Now I'm hungry. We made it to America. Before we ride the Guardians of the Galaxy ride, I figured we could eat some food in America because it's the semi-quincentennial >> and we have to eat the birthday person's favorite food. >> Yes. That's just polite. That's just the right thing to do. >> Yeah. It's not because we're not adventurous. It's because it's the theme and it's the party and they chose it. It's official. We have acquired barbecue. Look at this spread of food. It looks so good. We have a brisket sandwich, a variety of meats, mac and cheese, and freshly sliced watermelon. It is absolutely electric in here. I don't even know what to call this room. I don't know what to call this building, but y'all got to get here ASAP. The number one priority is that I don't get sick on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride and eating all this food is not going to bode well for my odds. That's it. Let's house this meal for America. After eating, we took Anna's advice and walked over to the Big Ball to try the ride called Spaceship Earth. It's a time travel journey that showcases all the different eras of mankind. It's honestly super emotional. And on that note, Epcot actually stands for experimental prototype community of tomorrow, which still doesn't really make sense to me. But because I'm still feeling a little disoriented from Space Mountain, this long and chill ride was just what I needed to remember why I'm doing this, to remember what this is all about, right? Watching the history of the world unfold with Haley next to me. It puts into perspective life, meaning, purpose, passion, motivation, and it's just what I needed to take on the next roller coaster. Behind us is the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. I've watched that. >> This is probably one of the most popular rides in all of Disney World. We should definitely be going to the next theme park right now, but we have to ride this. Space Mountain hit me a little different than it did when I was 16. So, I'm a little nervous for this one. >> I'm still feeling woozy from Space Mountain, but we should be okay. Are you ready for the coolest ride at Disney World? >> I'm so excited. >> Bucket list. >> Everyone loves this ride. >> By far, this is the most packed ride yet. The energy in this room is through the roof. You can see the anticipation on people's faces that this is going to be a ride we will never forget. >> Most hyped ride. I got a feeling this is going to be a movie. It's a joke cuz it's based on a movie. Here we go. Oh my goodness. That looks fast. The ride started out super fun visually and then we got thrusted backwards at a rapid speed. I was honestly having a good time until we started transcending the multiverse with LED screens. We're not even halfway through the ride and I'm covering my mouth in fear that I'm going to throw up. Y'all thought that ride took me out, huh? Yeah, right. I did come to Publix, though, to get some anti-nausea medicine. A while ago, I asked you guys, "What would you rank in the top three of a bucket list for America?" I'm going to put you guys in every video of this bucket list series, so keep on tagging me. As you know, my dream is to make my candy joy ride the number one candy in America. Back to Disney World semiquentennial. >> It's time for our next theme park. Now we're entering Animal Kingdom. It's actually really busy here. Back at Disney World. We're at Animal Kingdom now. Animal Kingdom for some reason is considered overrated. Chin667's review pretty much sums things up. Worst of all the parks you cannot enjoy, there are no animals. One star. We are going to do some exploring and then the Kilimanjaro safari. You can see lions. >> I can't wait. I love a safari. >> Shout out Spock. He's our Chihuahua. He's with my dad right now. Let's do this. To me, it looks like people are having fun here. And I'm seeing animals everywhere. It's literally Animal Kingdom. Look at these little guys. We just walked around to very accessible parts of the park and the variety of animals is amazing. >> Oh my gosh. See a hippo underwater? Check. We saw zebras and gorillas and then we walked to a different part of the park to evaluate souvenirs. This might be the best gift shop yet. Okay guys, we made it to the Kilamanjaro Safari. Inside we will see lions, tigers, and >> uh giraffes, zebras, >> not bears. >> Not bears. >> Right. Right. Right. Fun fact, this safari is big enough that the entirety of Magic Kingdom can fit inside of it. >> That's crazy. That's a whole park. >> That's a large safari. Let's safari. Out of everything on our agenda for the day, I think we've been most excited for this experience. I boarded the safari truck and Haley is close behind. The excitement on our faces cannot be contained as we enter Harambe Wildlife Reserve. And with a truck full of Disney goers, we spotted our first animal, a bongo. I had no idea there was an animal called a bongo. We're bongo maxing. The animals that can be found in the safari are shown above us. There's so many. We spotted a hippo next to vultures. Haley said, "Look, that's us." After spotting a pair of hippos in the water, but what really blew my mind is the Nile crocodile absolutely posted up in this swamp. That was actually terrifying. We better drive in a zigzag. Isn't that a banger? The rest of our safari ride consisted of seeing animals do things they probably do every day and marveling at it. I cannot believe we are in Orlando, Florida right now. That's made out of poop. Giraffes are walking around aimlessly. Squirrels are enjoying fallen nuts. The vibes are off the charts. I also got some really bad footage of a cheetah and an elephant. That's an elephant. But I was able to capture a great video of probably the coolest animal in the safari, the lion. That was so cool. >> That was insane. >> That was so fun. >> The giraffes are so cute. >> Unreal. Next theme park. Yeah, we move pretty fast around here. Haley and I are enjoying the sunshine at the busiest park yet. We are now at the final theme park of Disney World, Hollywood Studios. It is absolutely packed at this theme park right now. Fun fact, they used to really make movies here. >> What does that mean? >> You tell me. >> It means they made Mulan, Brother Bear, Lilo, and Stitch. >> That's awesome. Hollywood Studios must be overrated. Yeah, people don't love it. One of the most interesting reviews was from HP88 and he said destroyed. One star. Dave P at least gave us something. Terrible experience. Slinky Dog closed right now. Isn't that fun? Never again. One star. That Slinky ride is calling my name. I can hear it. If you listen closely in the clip, you can hear it as well. Ryan. Ryan. Come on. Yeah. The vibes are high. Everyone is having a fantastic day. Let's go explore Hollywood Studios. We have arrived to Toy Story Land. We're anticipating Buzz. We're anticipating Rex. It's going to be fun. The Slinky ride is right there. That ride does look a little intense. Everyone's screaming. I am a little hesitant to get right back on a roller coaster after our debacle at the Guardians of the Galaxy ride. Disney ride final boss right there. I'm going to be okay this time. >> Yeah. Well, I was kind of scared. >> I'll be okay this time. >> It's Slinky. How fast could it be? >> Yeah. Incredible. >> Oh my gosh. At least we're not turning sideways. We're turning sideways. >> Does Andy know about this? Thank you. Needless to say, Slinky ride has been conquered. >> Glad that happened and I survived it. >> I actually did pretty good on that. I think you had a worst time. >> Yeah, we keep flipping rolls on these roller coasters. >> With that, we have pretty much completed the four theme parks at Disney World >> in one day. >> Before you tell me what your favorite was and I tell you what my favorite was, there's still more to do tonight. Disney also has themed dinners, many of which people say is the highlight of their trip. And we are staying in the Grand Fian tonight, which is going to be so much fun. But before we go to dinner, I must admit we ate Mickey ice creams. >> Yeah, a little pre-dinner dessert. >> Don't try this at home. It's extremely reckless. We got seated and quickly placed our orders, which arrived in minutes, having so much fun at sci-fi diner and movie theater. We're watching retro movies. They've already played Tom and Jerry. One thing about me and Haley is that we pretty much always have the exact same order at restaurants. What did we get? cheeseburger, just cheese, Coke Zero in a fun sippy cup, and split an Oreo milkshake. >> The Oreo milkshake's on the way. I didn't expect today to get even more magical, but dare I say, it has. >> It's a nice relaxing way to eat. It's nice and dark. Everyone's just having a polite conversation in their car. >> Yes, we're all in our vehicles enjoying the moment. Haley, cheers to the semiquent senal. >> Cheers. >> Let's eat these burgers. We are back at the Grand Fian Hotel. So, here's how this bucket list series is going to work. Every day, Haley is going to open up our bucket list journal and make a super cute scrapbook page of our adventures from that day. Here is the one from today at Disney World. Then, we will rank each bucket list item based on experience, scenery, and magic, which can give us a total score of up to 30 points. As of right now, Disney is in first place because it was really fun and it's the only one we've done so far. Lastly, we will stamp each page to mark its completion. But before we do that, Haley, tell me what you thought about one of America's most desirable tourist attractions. >> I think it's easy to forget why Disney is so popular and then you go and you realize the experience, it's really amazing. There's a lot of people working hard to make the experience amazing. And I felt that today. I like the assortment of rides. I honestly felt pretty scared on a lot of them, but not too scared. I was exhilarated. It was the perfect mixture. And the food, the snacks, they were delicious. Mickey ice cream burgers. >> That barbecue was good. >> The barbecue. I forgot about that. So good. >> Haley is opening the journal to Disney World so that we can rank these different metrics. Remember, we are going to the top 10 tourist attractions in America. Say you're rating for experience on three. Ready? >> Mhm. >> 1 2 3 8. Oh, >> okay. >> What do we do if we have to split the difference because we don't have 7.5? Why should we go up to eight? >> I felt like every single theme park was a different universe. And that's a really cool experience to have in 24 hours. Whenever we were looking at the Rhinos, I was like having a moment. I was like, "What? How about we settle on eight?" >> Let's do it. >> Okay. Our experience rating for Disney World is eight. And now for scenery, say you're rating on three. 1 2 3 5. >> Okay, we can go down to five. >> We are in Orlando, Florida. Like there's only so much that you can do, but I think we're going to have some tens on scenery in this series. So >> So we got to save it. >> Yeah. Our scenery rating is five. Before we rank magic, there's actually one more thing left to do tonight at Disney World. >> What? >> Every single night, Disney World puts on a fireworks show. And I found out from one of the people in the lobby that our hotel has a great view >> of fireworks. >> Yeah. What do you say? >> We got to see if it's magical. >> Yeah. Let's go see the fireworks and then we'll do the magic rating. I cannot believe that the first day of our bucket list series is almost over. But I do know one thing and it's that Haley and I are suckers for fireworks. Let's just say this mouse and her rat were very impressed. The magic rating for Disney is very fitting. It's a 10.
