my throat I realized that I might not be helpless after all the Crimson squirrel screams as my blade slashes through it seriously injuring a number of its muscles and organs After ignoring the Beast and throwing a few shuriken at it to make it Retreat I put my kodachi away to create the seals for a new fire Jutsu that I had learned from the ucha Jutsu Library as I spat out a shotgun like blast of fireballs that struck three of the squirrels I yelled Fire release Phoenix Sage fire the squirrels tumbled back the hidden shuriken compounding the damage as another squirrel rushed out of the brush to try to jump on me my instincts kicked in and I rolled to the side I quickly applied a hasty Fire release chakra flow to the blade as it ignited the squirrel and then I drew out my kodachi and slashed as it came free with my back to a tree I inhaled deeply and kept my kodachi ready while I watched the squirrels that I had slashed with chakra flow chakra scalp slowly die from blood loss since I first stepped onto the training ground and began battling these Camy cursed squirrels how long has it been half an hour an hour shaking my head I reapplied chakra flow chakra scalpel and cut the chakra flow to the fire release chakra flow because I wanted to train with it and because to be honest it was more harmful than anything else I had right now when my Sharingan warned me that one of the squirrels was jumping up at my face I anticipated its next move and slashed my kodachi through its neck instantly decapitating it before flipping over as another squirrel attempted to pull out my hamstrings in an instant my free hand flashed through seals to form a chakra scalpel which I then used to cut the squirrel's spine as I landed I kicked a squirrel away with my foot before lowering myself to my knees and stabbing up with my kodachi which sent another squirrel flying overhead if there was one thing I had learned from my time on the front lines it was to be aware of my surroundings it was very easy to become engrossed in the sharing ability to predict danger even though it could only see what I saw fighting with my brother taught me how to be mobile during combat to continuously look around me and keep an eye on things both above and below as I moved leaping and pushing myself off a nearby tree I flew over two squirrels and threw my kodachi down into one of them embedding it in its spine before landing on the other I stunned the Beast with my admittedly small weight and then pushed a chakra scalpel into its brain after killing the paralyzed squirrel with my kodachi I turned around and saw the last two moving squirrels slowly rising to their feet I created three seals to prevent them from recovering I yelled Fire release great Fireball and then let out a single Fireball that was as tall as me consuming a significant portion of my chakra in the process the two squirrels perished shortly after they were caught in the Flames because they were unable to flee in time I gasped as I looked around for any more dangers but I was relieved to see that the only enemy left was the other squirrel I had paralyzed I walked over to it completed it and then leaned back against a tree I shook my head and gasped godamn it squirr Elsa [ __ ] squirrels are this dangerous and it only gets worse from Heria Camy Dam at all I shook my head opened the alerts menu and began going through them I ended up with 6,650 Express and 5,600 Rio from killing the seven squirrels along with a variety of crafting materials that was the fourth Ambush I killed today bringing my total to 26,600 express and 22,4 00 R gained so far which is equivalent to two more levels and puts me at level 26 I'm in a dungeon and the damned box won't let me use my new stat points talk about a the rabbits jumped at me at once just as they had managed to HT me into a trap I slashed one of the rabbits tilting my head just enough for one to pass my head by but it left a scratch on my ear and my kodachi was out in a second in what would likely be an amazing display of flexibility I smashed my right foot into the fourth and spun myself so that I could then drive it into the fifth with a heel drop my hand came flying up in a palm strike to the third and I avoided the fourth by bending forward before continuing my fight with the rabbits I stood up and took a moment to apply chakra flow chakra scalpel to my kodachi as his fellows Rec CED from my counterattacks the one that had scratched my ear had spun around to face me and jumped at me once more in a flurry of movement these little things made a huge leap thanks to Camy I managed to cleave off one of his legs with my kodachi before I turned to the side and brought the blade around to protect myself from another rabbit's lunge all thanks to my Sharingan holy cow I was really slammed against my kodachi after sliding backwards from that rabbit in retaliation I grabbed the still Airborne rabbit by the ears slammed it into my Rising knee threw it as hard as I could into a nearby tree and finally killed it with a single seal fired with one hand Fire release Fireball I swerved around another attempted attack gritting my teeth godamn there were so many of them even though they only had one attack as another one blurred above me I was forced to abruptly Lean Back far enough that I could feel the tips of the grass blades beneath me tickle my scalp with my hands on the ground I managed to leverage myself into a heel drop on the rabbit feeling the spine of the Beast break as my my foot drove it into the ground as another rabbit attempted to exploit my precarious position I used my kodachi to stab it while balancing myself on one hand after flipping the surprisingly heavy body off my kodachi I used a palm strike to knock another rabbit off balance and flip the rest of my body up balancing on one hand while another pair attempted to sever my legs I was able to propel myself into the air by bending my elbow and I flipped so that my feet touched the ground first I put my kodachi back in its sheath and swung my blade in in front of me to keep the rabbits from trying to attack as I landed I then leapt back to gain more distance I inhaled after flipping through the necessary seals I exclaimed Fire release great Fireball as I continuously ejected Flames to burn the three people gathered together I exhaled with relief as I started to mop up the immobile hostiles after I was positive they were out of the way I then extinguished the flames and looked around for any more moving hostiles damn did that previous scream bring in more of the nine little bastards looking up at the foliage above me I muttered to myself got to have to be more careful for those screamers then stupid little buggers all
