What's going on, YouTube? Welcome back to week six of scaling an ecom brand from zero to 100k a month. And I show you guys absolutely everything. So, we have a lot to cover today. I'm going to be showing you guys um the product, the landing page, my testing thesis, some crazy things that I noticed with the product. Also, some updates on my current brand because we got hit with a cease and desist letter. So, I advise you guys to stay to the very end because there's going to be so much source in this video. So, jumping to the first brand quickly, we actually decided to order stock for one of our brands, mainly for like quality control and get a gauge of what we're actually shipping to the customer. And this was a really good like kind of eye opening moment because we'd never done anything like this before. And we're doing about 200 to 250 orders a day at the moment. At that volume, it's just like numbers on a screen, you know, you don't really can't you can't really comprehend it, but it's only when you do something like this. This was like 90 orders, and we actually ran out of packing slips. And yeah, we ended up getting hit with a cease and desist letter from one of our competitors. So, we had to get a lawyer and holy [ __ ] I didn't realize how expensive lawyers were. We're looking about $5 to $10,000 just to get them to look into this patent and see if it's valid cuz our product is too close to our competitors or something like that. My card also got hacked. Someone ran up $500 worth of Uber Eats on it, which was a bit of a pain in the ass. But yeah, jumping into the product, what the product was, how I found it, the results. You can see here, this was day one of the test. Now, uh, I didn't really want to make this video because I wanted to kind of gateep the product myself, but I was like, "Fuck it." I'm trying to be as transparent as I can on here, so I'm going to show you guys absolutely everything. First day, we're sitting at about a 3.5 rorowaz, $240 in sales off about $70 in ad spend. And then the second day, we actually managed to get two to three sales, I believe. Sitting at about a five rorowaz, and then the ban waves just started happening. Now, don't get me wrong, I have a pretty good system for troubleshooting bans, and we managed to get the account back three to four times. Uh but it was just consistent rejected creative after rejected creative. So yeah, that's why I'm kind of moving on from this product. Now looking at it, I'll put a video up on screen just quickly on what the product actually does. But the reason why I like this product so much is because it is such a good alternative to gym gloves. Now gym gloves are already big and pretty fundamental part of the gym. uh more specifically for older people and girls, but you know, there's a couple guys out there and wear them, but the best part about these were they are an alternative to gym gloves. They are more discreet. They offer more protection to your hands from callus, and they're also super strong and super durable, and it's rare to find a product like that straight from China. So, yeah, I found this product uh on Instagram reels. I'll break down exactly how I found it later, but just to give you guys a bit of context, I looked into the competitors, and I saw a massive gap in the market. like all the competitors were framing it in an angle like this professional gym lifting device. Uh more shooting towards males and like females on the side, but I'm going to tailor absolutely everything on my website towards girls. And you'll see when I run down the website and everything in a minute exactly how that goes down. Okay, breaking down this landing page. Now, one common theme you'll see with all of my landing pages is I keep them super [ __ ] simple. all well and good adding like tons and tons of reviews and stuff and all these different sections in it, but I like to keep it as simple as possible. Handle as many objections as I can in as little space as possible, if that makes sense. And this landing page here, this exact one had a 12 to 15% conversion rate in the two days that it was active uh obviously before I got banned. So, uh just the basic product images there. I won't break them down too much uh cuz yeah, it's just tailored towards your product. Now, these three sentences here, you want to make them super simple, super concise, and you'll always see with mine, I back it up a testimonial. So, they're going to scroll down here now, and they're going to see the Kaching bundle setup. This is another thing I like to include is if your product comes with a free box, if your product, just say you're running like a bikini trimmer or just say anything you're running, if your product comes with something for free from the supplier, i.e. a box, uh, like a guard, blade guard for the bikini trimmer. Add it in as a freebie. Now, scrolling down a little bit here. What I'm doing with my landing pages is I'm putting myself into the buyers perspective. And then I'm scrolling down and I'm imagining I have no idea what the product does. I have no idea how the product can help me. And any questions or any problems that the buyer may see with the product, I am putting myself into their shoes. And then I'm scrolling down like that. Honestly, this is what my brother did. This is how I picked it up. My brother used to do this. I used to just bang out landing pages. Yeah. [ __ ] one product a day. All this. He always has. Like he is a god when it comes to getting 10 plus% conversion rates. Like and I've studied what he does now and I do the exact same thing. And putting in the extra hours is so worth it because it can be the difference between you getting.3 rorowaz and you getting two rorowaz just from your conversion rate. You can see now just some more objection handling versatile for every lifter enforcing that point. And another thing I'm doing I'm building this in mobile view. if you guys are building your sites in website view cuz what will happen is you'll get all the images correctly formatted for the website and as soon as you try to put it into mobile it'll all be mixed up. It'll all be mixed around. So definitely do go into the website view occasionally but try to build everything out on the uh mobile view. You can see another trend through this. See how it's all females, girl hands, girl lifter. Uh that obviously is guy hands but still I couldn't find any other callous female hands so I just went with that one. Female hands. This is how I was able to differentiate myself from competitors because other websites were tailoring to men and women as I went purely for girls and all my ads and everything were girls. So that is why I was able to hit it with this product was because I didn't just go in and rip all the freaking best performing ads with guys and everything. I went in with an exact strategy, followed it, executed it and that's why this product would have been a winner. Simple website but yeah, highly converting. Okay, so now how did I find this product? Uh, I was running the reals method. Now, the reels method, it has been popping off for me recently. It's very slept on. What I mean by the reels method is the Instagram burner account. And I don't know whether Instagram have just stepped up their game recently or my accounts just hella optimized, but I have been seeing some crazy products on here. Thing you have to take into account with Instagram reels is you do have to validate the product. Like you can't just see it and be like, yeah, it's not like caliat where you actually have data and all that. So, you do have to bit of do a bit of cross referencing. Now I do cross referencing with caliata winning hunter and ad library and that's how I'm able to see if the product's good, see if people are or see if people are currently running it and kind of see the volume and get more insight into the product and how I can potentially take a unique approach onto it. So first thing I noticed was two to three major competitors running it. The creators were mid. And what I mean by this is that the people who are running ads, they had obviously just ripped the creatives from maybe like organic accounts. I'm pretty sure this product was blowing up organically. So they went through, they just directly ripped the organic content and they were running it as ads. Now organic content is completely different to paid ads. Like it does have some similar similarities, should I say, but the hook isn't hyper specific. It doesn't have a reason for the person to keep watching. Doesn't have a clear call to action at the end with all your offer and all that. The way you frame organic is completely different the way you frame paid ads. So that was the first thing I noticed. Another big thing was these guys I'm pretty sure were paying winning hunter and paying the ad spies to actually hide and kind of keep lay low in that sense because normally I was super surprised when I saw this product as well cuz I'm looking for products every single day. Uh and I hadn't seen this product yet and the volume that these guys were pushing out wild and for me to not catch that I was pretty surprised and this would explain why. And then they were adding ads and creators very aggressively. Like if we come up to here now, you can see that 130 results, 240 results, and both of them started in January. So that's how I found the product. I do get a lot of people reaching out to me like, R, what is your favorite product research method? And truthfully, it's all three. Um, if I'm not using Winning Hunter, I'll use Calidator. If I'm not using Caliata, I'm using reals or the burner method. And the best part about the burner meth as well is you can kind of substitute your reels break like your brain rot break or whatever with scrolling products. Um so if you're at the gym, if you're laying down in bed, you can just log into your burner account and then scroll and just be finding like crazy products.
