how's everyone doing look at this person here I don't know what to comment on this statement to be honest how's everyone doing everyone is good Salam bro I have a question this is a class so we're not going to take any questions here can come to the Q&A and then ask all the questions that you have title says episode one okay yeah there's a mistake then can change it now okay now it says two yeah that's a way to look at it you know it's episode one from I no no it's it's episode two but this is an interpretation you know alhamdulillah I'm okay okay uh I think there enough people here inshallah we can uh start with the class we do not waste a lot of time in the last class if you have not seen it can go watch it inshallah different time but the first class is a Surah fat and we explained Surah fat and now uh uh we are going to explain Bak inshallah the beginning first few verses from the beginning ofah bakar uh one person is saying can I recite the aat well brother I do not know honestly uh let's stop the screen for a bit you do not know how is your recitation and it's going to take some time to bring you on on this and that maybe you can look at that for the next uh for the next few uh classes in okay let's begin uh inshallah we're going to commence in explaining uh this great Surah of the uh one of the greatest suras of the Quran and one of the suras that the prophet have praised read that they will come on the day of judgment as inter sers they will come as either two clouds two things that would cover the person or two groups of birds that are aligned together uh that they will come and that they will do intercession for the person who reads and memorizes bak and so this is a great virtue that the prophet mentioned for this Surah and them coming on the day of judgment that they will be as a cloud that means that they will be shielding the person on the day of judgment from the Heat of the day because as you know the Sun is going to be above you literally above you and the peoples sweat on that day on the day of judgment will reach the necks from the amount of the heat so the people who memorize and know and understand these two surasak they are going to come on the day of judgment for these people and they will shield them from the the heat of that day and that would be only for those people memorize and understand these suras it's a great virtue for this Surah and they will also intercede that that they will ask forgiveness uh for the person they will ask forgiveness for the person who memorizes them not only that but a part of their intercession some Scholars have mentioned that they will speak when when the person's his the rest of his limbs are not able to speak they will speak on his behalf so these are some of the virtues of this Surah the prophet he said in the same taking this Surah and taken here is a very general word which can mean a lot of things it means memorizing the Surah it means reciting the Surah of and it also means implementing it in your life and understanding it taking that and taking doing all of these actions there is bar in it there's blessing there's immense blessing for the life of the individual also for the people around the individual and leaving that Surah neglecting it not doing these actions there's in it which which can mean that they will be regretful that you'll regret it people will regret it you will regret not doing it because of the amount of or the immense benefits and Bara that is within it and here the balah which are magicians they're not able to handle this Surah and they're not able to affect the person who recites the Surah often and keeps that person this Surah and takes that Surah they're not able to affect him with magic so they're not able to uh infiltrate him you can say right it's a a virtue for this Surah Bak This Magnificent Surah of the Quran also Surah Bak is the longest is the longest chapter of the Quran has the most amount of verses of the Quran 20 and uh over 280 verses of the Quran and it has the longest chapter as well sorry it has the longest verse which is the verse of and this verse is like one page so it is the longest Surah and it also has the longest verse of the Quran also has the greatest verse of the Quran which is chapter 2 verse 255 and we all know the magnificence ofat and it is the greatest verse of the Quran as the of the Prophet asked him what is the greatest verse of the Quran she mentions theat is the greatest verse of the Quran So This Magnificent Surah has the greatest verse of the Quran it is the longest one and it has also the long longest verse and the last two uh verses of ofah bakar as well the prophet he said who recites them in a night that they will be sufficient for him as protection if sufficient includes everything so these are all like benefits and there are many many more these are all benefits in this great chapter of the Quran in this great Surah of the Quran and we ask Allah to make us from those people who take that Surah from those who Doak so Allah can give us all of these benefits and give us Baraka in our lives and the Liv of the people around us so uh let's move into the explanation let me share the screen okay so let's go to the beginning and we will start inshah um [Music] Al Al so this is the first verse of Bak what is the meaning of Al so as we see here in the translation it puts Al if lamb me Al if lamb and me are all Arabic letters Al if is an Arabic letter is the first letter of the the Arabic alphabet lamb is a Arabic letter and M is another Arabic letter so these three letters we're not reading them as one word rather we're reading them individually as each letter on its own this is how we're reading it we're reading each letter on its own now the scholars have deferred on what is the meaning of Al how do we understand these letters why are we saying Al why are we saying letters and not reciting it as a word what did Allah intend uh with alif and now there is like multiple different opinions amongst the scholars one of those opinions of the scholars is the alif lam m is uh names for the suras so Al Lam me is a name uh it's in the beginning of the chapter therefore it's the name of the Surah these letters like is the name of the Surah the letters that come all of these letters that come all over the Quran all of these letters that we recite some of the scholars hold the opinion that these letters are names for the suras and he used uh for that an Evidence which is the of the Prophet when he said uh recite right so uh some of the scholars have used that as evidence that Al L me is is is a name but that opinion is is weak uh when you look at it when you investigate it it is weak also because the idea of the AL is not just one chapter that starts with alak starts with alah Alan starts with Al many chapters of the Quran start with Al so this idea that it's of the Quran is a weak opinion also there is another opinion of the of the scholars that they say the AL uh the meaning of them is unknown and that we should leave the meaning of Al to Allah so that we do not know the meaning and the meaning of these of these letters in the beginning of the Quran like we do not know the meaning and we leave their meaning with Allah and then they say that they are from the they are from the things that we have not been given uh explanation for and that opinion is also weak and why is that opinion weak because Allah says in the Quran that he revealed the Quran for us to to reflect upon the Quran Allah says scripture or aab a book that we revealed to you blessed so they can reflect upon his verses so Allah says in the Quran that he revealed uh theab he revealed the Quran in order for us to reflect on the verses of the Quran so if the Quran is revealed for us to reflect on those verses it would not make any sense for Allah to reveal those verses with no meaning because you cannot reflect on something that has no meaning and it also would not make any sense for Allah to reveal uh these verses uh with a meaning that we do not know because you cannot reflect on something that you cannot reach its meaning and one of the the reasons also this understanding is also weak is that the idea that when Allah refers to the in the Quran the correct opinion regarding the is that these are things which we can know their meaning but not all the Believers know their meaning because you can recite that verse of the Quran from it our foundational verses vers and other so those who have disease in their heart they follow these verses that have ambiguity and the in order for them to deviate in these verses right and then the other vers is and only Allah knows the interpretation but you can also read that no one knows its interpretation except Allah and those people who are firm in knowledge so the correct opinion and correct understanding is that the are things that you can reach their meaning but that meaning is not with all the Believers it is with the people who are people who are firm in their knowledge the the great Scholars of so you'll find the meaning but you have to seek the meaning you have to find find those and you'll find the meaning with them right so he said there is two opinions here given by the and these opinions are weak and we mentioned the reasons why they're weaker than the next opinion that we're going to mention and all all what we're given so far is not like an a definitive thing right but this is the most likely uh based on the evidences and weighing the evidences and looking at them and the popular op opion and the correct opinion to do Al Lam is that Al are letters Al L are letters are not they are not a word and because they are letters and they're not a word letters do not have meaning in language I cannot ask someone to tell me what is the meaning of a why is the meaning of b and why is the meaning of c right why is the meaning of f because letters do not have meaning only words convey meaning and because we are reading Al L me it would make sense for us to say that there is no no meaning for the letters because we are reading them as letters but what is then the wisdom behind Allah revealing those letters now this is a different question so the first question was about the meaning now the different question now is what is the wisdom but also another idea to understand why these are letters that they don't have meaning because in other parts of the Quran you will find the same letters in a beginning of a chapter but we will read them Al we're not going to read Al we're going to read like for example in and here it has a meaning didn't you see what uh your Lord did to the people of the elephant the people of the field right so here Alam here is is read as a word it's not read as separate letters Al L and me it's read as a complete word and when it is read as a complete word it has a meaning and it's also in the beginning of the chapter and also it's in middle of all over chapters of the Quran is in the middle of the chapters as well didn't you see that those people or given a portion of the scripture so Al there has a meaning because it's a word and we read it as a word we do not read it as individual letters so when we read individual letters it makes perfect sense for us to say that letters do not have meaning rather words is that which conveys meaning okay and what is the wisdom between Allah mentioning Al why did Allah mention Al and now the schols they say is the the wisdom that we can see is it is a challenge for the for the Arabs because Allah he challenged the Arabs in the Quran right he challenged them to bring uh something like the Quran to bring a book like the Quran say if the Jin which is a creation of Allah and the human beings they were together all of them to bring something like the Quran they will never is also for the future they will never bring anything like it even if they were all supporting one another so Allah challenged them to bring a book like the Quran and Allah also challenged them to bring 10 verses Allah says or are they saying that you made it up you fabricated this Quran then Allah says okay as a challenge for you then bring 10 chapters like it and then Allah also asked them to bring one chapter like it Allah say we'll also be explaining this verse when we reach it when in verse 23 if you have any doubt in that which we have revealed Upon Our servant I.E Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam then bring a chapter like it so because Allah challenged them to bring a book like it and he challenged them to bring 10 chapters like it Allah challenged him also to bring one chapter like it Allah is using now the letters of the Arabic language he's saying to them look all of these letters of the Arabic language why are you not able to produce something like it this Quran is in Arabic letters and these letters we reciting can can't you hear us reciting Arabic letters so the prophet is using your own language he's using the same letters that you're using why are you not able to produce something like it if you claim that this is not from Allah if you claim that he made it up then I'm telling you here listen to these letters why why cannot you produce something like it using the same letters right and this is the most you can say this is the PO the popular opinion and the most like likely based on the evidences and looking at different opinions of the the scholars and in the end Allah he knows best uh the correct view okay so this is what does mean first is in the Arabic language and is that uh is that which you used to refer to something so you say this boy or this young child this woman so use use these terms to uh point to something or refer to something right but Allah didn't say this book he said in the Arabic language in the Arabic language is for you're you're pointing at something you're referring to something that is far away so why did Allah use and he did not use uh then the scholars they responded to that by saying that is not only used for that which is further away so also used for that which is close and the evidence for that is used in the Quran Allah says in the Quran speaking referring to himself using the same term the knowing the knower of the seen and the Unseen so Allah is near if your servant is if my servants ask you about me say I'm near so Allah is near but he's using the term as well so the scholars said thata is not only for that which is further away even though it is used mostly for that which is further away but it also can be used for that which is close by not only that but can also be used for that which is further away it's not only used for that which is close by and we can know that from of Propet we see the group of people will come that they will ride which means the middle of of this sea and he uses right and had here is is for that which is close if you use it for that which is close the prophet was not close to the Sea so now we understand that can be used for that which is further away as well and can be used for that which is close so here does not necessitate that that thing is further away from you okay alab means the book and alab is one of the names of the Quran the book is one of the names of the Quran Al is also one of the names of the Quran is one of the names of the Quran and are many many names of the Quran and Al is one of those names of the Quran there is no doubt in it there is no doubt in it now this is something which like uh any human being if you just Ponder and think and imagine that you are writing a scripture and you're not actually a true Messenger of God you're not sent by the Creator and the the first thing in the beginning of your book that you're doing is that you're saying this book has no doubt you know this book has no issues it has no doubt so you're not fearing anything would someone who is lying start a book like this would someone who was lying who fabricating things start a book by saying that this book has no doubt this is something for people who are not Muslim to reflect upon uh when they read the Quran because this start you're never you're not going to find on any other human book humans by necessity they know they create mistakes they make mistakes which is why when they write books they make a first edition second edition Third Edition 12 Edition 100 Edition and the reason they do all of that is because they know they commit mistakes and they correct their mistakes uh but the Quran is not unlike that the Quran is a challenge and it says to you clearly explicitly this book has no doubt in it there's no doubt in the Quran now some of the also they said is a a news that is given a command is given a command of prohibition for the Believers that means do not be doubtful about it so it's not only that the book there is no doubt in it but it's also a command for the Believers not to be doubtful about the Quran not to be doubtful about the contents in the Quran because it is a revelation from Allah that is perfect and complete okay now Huda means guidance uh and in Islam we have two types of guidance we have a guidance that we call and we have so the there's two types of guidance one guidance is that you give information to someone and you give them the Quran and you tell them about Allah his names and attributes you give them information so this is a type of guidance right and then we have another type of guidance which is is the Allah is given the acceptance of that thing within the heart in that person that information that that you're given him is actually entering the heart of that individual so now Allah here he says guidance for the now the question is that that I'm asking you now is the Quran for for the is it guidance only for the or is it guidance for everyone what do you uh guys think tell me is the Quran only or is the Quran guidance for everyone for all mankind which one is it guidance for all everyone okay everyone inah everyone yes so the Quran is guidance for everyone but Allah here is saying Allah mentioned the Believers uh first to do is to them the information is given to them but mainly they are the ones who will have that the guidance of actually this information entering the hearts and because the the are the ones who actually are going to implement the Quran and they are the ones who are going to follow the Quran that's why Allah specifically mentions them in this verse here by saying instead of saying right for these two reasons because this verse here includes and because also the are the ones who are going to accept the guidance that are in this that is in this book and they're going to implement it and follow and follow and follow it in their lives right now God conscious I wouldn't like this type of like is a word that is very difficult for translation that's why you'll see if you look at different translations conscious of Allah those who are mindful of Allah containing guidance okay so what does means so comes from the Arabic word which is to Shield yourself or protect yourself from something so what are those doing what are they doing they are doing shielding and guarding themselves from the and and the punishment of Allah from the anger and the punishment of Allah the are those who are shielding themselves from the anger and from the punish punishment of Allah now the question is how are they shielding themselves from the punishment and anger of Allah in which way are they shielding themselves they are shielding themselves by first accepting the word of tawa what is the word of tawa which is the word of they are accepting that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah and the prophet Muhammad Alam is his messenger and S so they are guarding themselves they're safeguarding themselves by by which means by many means one of them is to say the word of as the Quran refers to it they said the the word of ta the word of ta which is as many of said and they were worthy of it and they were the people of right so that's the first thing they did to Shield themselves and that they followed all the command of Allah and avoided their the prohibitions obviously as much as they could so how are they they are by following the commands of Allah by avoiding the prohibition of Allah and accepting the word of ta which is Muhammad okay and uh how do we know that it's all of these actions of avoiding prohibitions of following the command because this is what the Quran says in multiple places like for example in the same Surah in verse 177 allel says the is not that you direct your face into East or the West so Allah gave all of these characteristics that we're not going to say now translate now when we get to the verse we can speak about it inshah you can open chapter 2 verse 177 Allah mentions many many attributes all of them are following the command of Allah and avoiding his prohibitions and then Allah finishes the verse by saying and those are so the are those who follow the commands of Allah and avoid the prohibitions of Allah and also another way to understand tawa is that which you Shield yourself with or you protect yourself with is where the when they said that we were in the war When The War becomes difficult and now it's the heat of the war alhi wasallam we shielded ourselves protected ourselves behind the messenger of Allah s alaihi wasallam which is the the braveness and the the power of and the strength of the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam he was on the front and the sahaba were shielding they were behind and protecting themselves behind the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam it is the heat of the War uh okay those who is so now is given the description of the as well those who are what they believe in the Unseen they establish the prayer and they spend from that which which we have given those who believe what does the word im mean the word IM in the Arabic language means uh means to believe in something to if someone tells you a news that you believe in that news you accept that news and that's why uh the people of that's why the brothers of Yousef they said to their father and you're not going to believe us even if you were if we were truthful so in that verse is used for accepting news or believing someone in that which he says right so this is linguistically what means but what does mean IM means from an Islamic perspective now Iman here is is something which is a testimony of the tongue that you testify with your tongue you say and that you believe in your heart in certainty that there is nothing worthy of worship you believe in Allah you believe in the tenes of Islam so Acceptance in the heart and the believe in the heart and the statement of the tongue and the actions that you do the actions that you do like the prayer the Salah and all of these actions that Allah command us with and a lot of the deviated sect have deviated in IM some of those deviated sects are like the for example or the where you delay something they delayed the actions so they did not consider the actions as a part of IM right so this is one of the deviations that you do not consider the actions that you do the actions of prayer Salah and Zak and all of these actions you not consider them as a part of Iman the deviated sex have done that and some other deviated sex they said that Iman does not increase and decrease right like many deviated people in the Matan ashari kind of positions they they do not accept this position the IM increases and decreases and when you look at the Quran it's explicit in the Quran that IM increases and decreases Allah says for for example he has so they are increased in faith uh in their faith so they're increased in their faith right those who belied we increased them IM we increased them in faith and he only increased them in IM means safety right so all of these verses in the Quran explicitly states that IM is increasing right and then you have also the idea that the IM is from the actions is the evidence is for the arm many for example one just simple example is the of the prophet he says is divided into into 60 or 70 right and then he says uh and removing harm from the road and that's an action that you do with your limbs the prophet consider that one of the branches of Im so IM uh includes the actions that you do and the belief and acceptance in the hearts and obviously which is how you enter into IM to begin right uh okay uh here is the Unseen and the Unseen includes now these are the characteristics of the Believers the is that they believe in the IE the Unseen why is the Unseen everything everything that we've not seen you've not seen Allah you've not seen the Angels you've not seen the J you've not not seen uh the prophets of Allah right you've not seen the sahab you've not seen many many many things that Allah have told you about you've not seen Jen Paradise you've not seen Hellfire so all of these things that all of these news and all of these things are considered from The Unseen this is a characteristic of a Believer to accept and believe in all of them and submit to them even though he doesn't see that not like certain deviated people who talk to you for example about and Ma is are from The Unseen and they say uh we we have to reinterpret what means why do we have to reinterpret it because we don't see them so if you don't if you don't see them you don't believe in them then how are you from the Believers who believe in the Unseen how does that make any sense for you to be a someone who believes in the Unseen in the same time to say oh I cannot believe in because I have not seen them we have satellites we not seeing them we believe in the because the prophet informed us that they're there Allah revealed that so that which Allah has revealed we believe in it we submit in it we do not say oh let me see it and there the difference between a Believer and and an atheist isn't it what do atheist say I don't see it I don't believe in it what arguments do we always engage why what what type of arguments do we engage always in with atheist is that they say oh where is it show me right because for them there's a difference between the believer and the non-believer so the believer believes in the without see the and when we're saying he believes in in the Unseen or believes in the we're not saying that he doesn't have evidences for it it's a misunderstanding you can have evidences and evidences are of different types but you've not seen that thing right you have other types other sources of of of evidence testimony reasoning and all of that prophecies the future all of these different things which makes the Quran from God you've got reasons but it's still unseen because you've not seen it and you believe in it and you submit to Allah here is is it says establish the but here the meaning of it is they continuously pray or they remain on continuous prayer they continuously pray they remain on their prayer they continuously pray now here now that's a very very important thing to talk about now the Salah the prayer that which Allah mentions in the Quran in hundreds of places the Salah Allah commands how many of the Believers today do do not do that do not have they do not do they do not continuously pray how many how many how many how many many many many Believers you have those who pray and leave you have those who don't pray at all you have those who pray only you have those who pray J only you have those who who uh whenever you say to them come pray they say you leave me alone you're not the one who's going to hold me accountable Allah is the one who's going to hold me accountable the prophet he was asked what is the best of the Deeds he said the prayer prayer is the best of the deeds and the prophet Alam he he said that the Salah is that which forgives your sins every prayer that you pray forgives your sins and and Salah is forgiveness Between each prayer and each prayer is forgiveness for you when you pray Between each prayer and each prayer so Salah has I can I cannot even enumerate the amounts of of Hadith and verses that talks about the benefits of the but there's also the warnings for those who don't pray and they are more severe than anything else Allah for example says after mentioning the prophets peace be upon them all Allah says and then they came after them came after those prophets and Messengers a group of people they they wasted the prayer they lost the prayer they ignore the prayer they they do not pray and they follow their desires and that they will receive and as says it is a liquid in that person will will receive in Hellfire for abandoning the prayer leaving the prayer Prophet said the first thing that the servant is going to be asked upon is the Salah is to pray it's the first thing did you pray if it's if it's good everything is good and if it's bad everything is bad so the criteria and determination for you and that first question that you'll you'll be asked on the day of judgment is the is the Salah is if your Salah is okay everything is okay if your Salah is not okay then not everything is impossible it's impossible for everything to be okay Allah says in the Quran here means one of two things either it means means like severe warning of punishment or it means it's a valley in the in Janam one of the two you pick which one you want be to those who or wh here as we explained it is for those who pray and they're neglecting the prayer so they leave the prayer until the time of the prayer goes you know now it's time for you just you're busy with work busy with this or that and the time of the prayer goes or uh they pray one to one prayer another prayer a third prayer they don't pray other prayers Allah is giving them this this kind of warning let alone the people who don't pray at all now talked about this issue many times but the the later let me just say thisat deferred over the person who leaves the prayer but theah didn't defer the position of the sah is the person who leaves the prayer is it this believer that's why the the they said that there's nothing that wasallam they saw an action if you leave makes you a disbeliever except the prayer leaving the prayer now we've got later reinterpreting what what kuf here means but in reality the sah were were consensus regarding this and why are they consensus regarding this because the prophet said it that which is the difference between us and the this Believers is the Salah so he leaves it he committed right and between the servant and and is leaving the Salah so this was the statements of the Prophet but we are obviously here talking about the person who completely aband abandons it doesn't pray at all does not pray does not pray does not pray anything because the Salah is a connection to Allah and the minute you leave the Salah trust me you will start committing the sins Shan will come say to you okay you don't pray don't do anything so start doing this start doing that next thing is you start following your desires the next thing is you start doubting your religion next thing is you start making excuses to leave Islam and claim that it's not from Allah it is a gradual step of Shan that happens with everyone and we just we were talking in the verse before about the the im a part of Iman is the deeds and we're not like the who say that the Deeds are not a part of Im so Salah here is very very very important now the people who are watching you need to wake up if you don't pray if you're leaving your prayer if you're praying here sometimes sometimes you're not prayer you need to wake up before you die then there's no coming back so Allah here is mentioning the characteristics the character the characters or characteristics of the uh believers who believe in the Unseen and that they continuously pray and from here and from that which we provided for them they are spending so Allah is saying and that and they are spending from that which we provided for them and this is the thing Subhan Allah the the how gracious and how merciful and how loving Allah is that he is the one who provide for you and in the same time he's the one who's allowing you commanding you to spend from the which he's provided for you and he's the one who is rewarding you for spending from that which he provided for you yeah Subhan Allah so it's not only that that he's given you that he is the one here and donate from that which we have provided for you so Allah provides you the risk and then he commands you to to give from that isk not all of it but just some of it and then he rewards you for spending from that and that spending obviously there's verses of the Quran and and Hadith as Allah says the balance in spending like Allah says for for example and do not make your hand tied to your neck meaning you know you want to give money your hand is like here you're not giving any money do not release it all the way like you given all the money that you have right you have to have a middle path in between when you're spending from that which Allah has provided you for okay and those who believe in that which we have revealed to you and that which we have revealed before you and with the after life the Hereafter they are certain and in the here in the Hereafter they are certain now the scholar they said is this referring to the people of the scriptures this referring to the people of the book like ABD and all of those companions who were previously on the religion ofab and then they accepted Islam that they believed in that which Allah has revealed they also believed in that which was revealed to the prophet the Quran or is this referring to the Believers because the Believers believed in that which was revealed before we believe in The Messengers that Allah has sent before and we also believe in the scriptures the revelations that Allah has revealed before like the and the in so the the correct opinion obviously is that these two meanings are both correct this verse includes the people of the scripture who believe in that which was revealed before and also believed in that which was revealed to the prophet meaning the Quran the prophet he said that people will have multiple Rewards or two rewards is a person who believed in his messenger and then he believed in the prophet sallallahu alaihi wasallam too so this verse also includes so it talks about believing that which was revealed before he said all of these prophets and Messengers and all of those Revelations and to understand you cannot be a believer because this is here is is talking about the Believers this is a character istics of the believer so you cannot be a believer If you deny that Allah revealed something called theil to or something called the or all of these different scriptures so you have to believe in them in order for you to be from the Believers and this includes the Believers and it includes the people of the scriptures right uh and now there's a question now uh when we say believe in that which was revealed before you uh are we referring to the Bible that the people the Christians hold in their hands today she includes Mark Matthew Luke and John Paul and and all of these different names and different authors and different people no when Allah says revealed to that which is believe in that which was revealed before you Allah is referring to the original scriptures that was given to those Messengers and Prophets not in that which has been changed by the people so we believe and hold in high regard the in we respect it we're not of those people who mock the other religious uh the the revelations the previous Revelations that was revealed by Allah canot mock them because this Revelation from Allah and you as a Believer have to believe in that says in the chapter five that we revealed the T there is there in it light and guidance and then he says the same thing about the injil few verses later uh so so we believe that there is light there was light and guidance in the T and inj T inil that we believe in are not the Bible of today the Bible of today is something written by someone called Mark Matthew Luke and and and John and they're Unknown People and these names were added later on and theil was given to Jesus Allah says we give him theil and the Old Testament that they have is something that they nothing nothing close to the time of Mam and we know that it's corrupted because of his descriptions of the prophets of God The Messengers of God and it being missing the clear clear description of the Prophet here a description and it's clear but it was definitely much more clear than this because Allah says that they know the scriptures like they know their own children so it was it was much much more clear than this but they changed changed it and deviated it and corrupted and they are certain in the Hereafter and this is the opposite of the disbelievers right uh Allah says about disbelievers indeed that they are in doubt regarding the regarding the Hereafter so it is the exact opposite of the disbelievers that the Believers are upon certainty that they here after herea is going to come and everyone will be held accountable for his deeds those people of transgression and what's happening today around the world in Palestine and other places may Allah our brothers and sisters those people the is going to come if it doesn't come tomorrow it's going to come later so the Believers are certain of that reality they're certain of that fact and that these Believers are the exact opposite they are in doubt regarding the they are in doubt regarding these things [Music] okay those IE those Believers and also includes the people as we said of the scriptures who believed in that which was revealed to Allah because they're also Believers are upon are upon guidance from the Lord from Allah and those are the successful ones the people who submit to Allah the people who believe in that which was revealed to them and was revealed before them and they established the prayer and continuously remain on the prayer and they believe in the Unseen those are the people who are upon guidance from Allah complete perfect guidance from Allah and those are the same people who are successful ones the th those are the successful individuals the successful people and they are the winners and what does means uh means like linguistically the one who got that which he desires the one who is away from that which he dislikes and he's trying to avoid and that which we all want and every human being want is Jenna and that which all of us are trying to avoid and stay away from is hfire so the are those who get what their heart desire which is J and they are away from that which they want to stay away from which is the Hellfire so those are the Believers those are the Allah is given us their description in the Quran [Music] those who disbelieved now what does the word means uh linguistically the word CF means to cover something up and from it uh the description that is given to the farmer that the farmer is a CF uh does not mean here is a disbeliever but CF means that he's covering the seeds right uh as Allah says in the Quran like seed and like vegetation which the the KU the farmers they liked how it grew so that's linguistically what it means but a lot of people confus now this linguistic meaning with the sh meaning because there are two different meanings the meaning the linguistic meaning and then there is the Islamic meaning meaning so what does a cafir mean from an Islamic perspective a cafir means that who denies uh or opposes goes against Im so goes against The Perils of IM and denies the perals of IM from a statement whether he makes a statement that is opposing to Im so for example he says I don't believe in Allah don't believe in Prophet Muhammad I don't believe in Jesus I don't believe in that don't believe Prophet Muhammad existed so this is a statement right it's a statement that is opposing Im so it makes that person a c or a a deed he prostrates to other than Allah he calls he goes to Graves and prays to other Allah than Allah and asks them for help and need and all of this different things right or a belief that he believes that someone other than Allah is all powerful or he believes that someone other than Allah gives him risk or that he believes that someone other than Allah is wor wor of worship so C here from an Islamic perspective includes all all of that anything that opposes the belief the IM whether that be a statement whether that be an action that someone does or whether that be a belief in their heart okay so that is a CF that is a disbeliever here it means it is the same or it's equal for them whether you give them uh warnings or you do not give them warnings they're not going to believe they're not going to accept your message now the question is the prophet he gave the message to his people some of might come and ask okay but some of them believed like some of the people Allah uh commanded the prophet to give the message to they believed so why is this verse saying that whether you warn them or you don't warn them they're not going to believe because there is something uh that we call it is is a general statement but what is intended with a specific group of people those specific group of people that are intended with this verse that Allah is is mentioning here that those are those to Allah in his knowledge he knew that they are going to believe they're going to remain on their belief and they're going to die on their belief similar to Allah said about AB that he's going to be from the KU is going to be from the people in Hellfire so here it is a statement that includes uh his position his current state and his future so this verse here is specific referring to the people that Allah it is preceded in his knowledge that he knows that those individuals will remain on on this belief okay now the question is why does Allah uh command us to warn those people since uh they're not going to accept they're not going to believe so why does Allah command us to warn those individuals why does Allah tell us to warn those individuals now there are many reasons right we'll give three of those reasons the first reason is that Allah commanded us so why are we warning them even though Allah tells us they're not going to believe why why did Allah sorry why are we still doing it even though Allah told us that they're not going to believe the first reason is because Allah commanded us he told us in the Quran told the prophet messenger deliver that which isry oh Prophet deliver that which was revealed to you from your lord so Allah commanded the prophet to deliver the message so and the prophet told us deliver from me even if a single verse so the the first reason that we are warning the people even though Allah is saying in this verse that they're not going to believe whether you warn them or you don't War War him is because we are obeying the command of Allah and Through The Obedience of the command of Allah you get the reward the second reason is that you establish the evidence against those people so on the day of judgment they cannot say to Allah oh Allah I did not get a warning that's why Allah says in the Quan prophets and Messengers given warnings and Glad Tidings so the people have no excuse on the day of judgment by saying that we did not get the message so the second reason we give them the warning even though we know they're not going to believe it is because uh we establishing evidence against them for the day of judgment so they do not say no one told me I did not know and that's what you see with a lot of the Christians that we engaging with with you know doesn't matter whether you warn them or you don't warn them they're not going to believe but we still are giving them da still engaging with them still telling them the message of the truth but also understanding this reality saves you a lot of time if not wasting time like many people do and arguing and debating for hours and hours with people who you know and they're clearly showing you that they have zero signs of sincerity they don't care even if you open the sun in front of their eyes they're not going to accept so understanding this idea saves you time and uh lets you give them a warning and then you move away straight away you don't spend years and years engaging with them for no reason knowing those people are not looking for the truth so that's the second reason and the third reason is because we do not know who guidance is written for we do not know who Allah is going to guide or no so we're saying now that this verse is referring to the people that Allah's knowledge preceded those people are not going to believe but the reality is we we do not know this is Allah's knowledge it's not my knowledge or your knowledge so when we engaging with the people we do not know who uh Allah's knowledge preceded upon them they're not going to believe and who are the people who uh might believe that's why you see people like and Abu sufyan and many of these people like he was saying remove When It Was Written In in treaty and all of that he became a Muslim later on you know so he's one of the biggest enemies in the beginning but then Allah guided his heart so we do not know the ones that Allah is written guidance for or not but we do our best we give the message we Warn and if uh we see signs of insincerity then we move to someone else who's showing signs of sincerity and you need to understand this is Allah is telling you in the Quran even if we open for them a door in the and they ascended there end they will say our vision has been blurred we are people have been inflicted by Magic so even if Allah opens the door and they ascend to the S they see they still not going to believe so you need to understand that so your your logic and reasoning and arguments of blah blah blah blah philosophical arguments it's not going to be better than them ascending and seeing with their own eyes but they still are not going to believe so you need to submit to this this fact and reality and deal with the people understanding this fact that it doesn't matter Allah says in the and if we were to bring down the angels for them and the de speak to them so that de come out of their Graves and start speaking to it and we gathered everything in front of them they're not going to believe except of Allah so even if the Angels come down and the de start working and speaking to them and the everything is gathered upon them in front of them they're not going to believe so don't think your philosophical quote unquote philosophical arguments or debating skills is going to work you give the message and Allah says it's only upon the messenger to deliver the the clear message and also another thing that we learned from this verse is for us as as Believers it is a a something for us as Believers so we do not grieve or for the prophet because he he would grieve when someone does not accept his message when he's given the message like Allah says in the qu you would like kill yourself because they're not believing so this verse is given Assurance to the prophet Alam and letting him know that uh do not be sad number one and number two do not uh for us as well so we do not let our him we do not let our willingness to share the message go down when someone refuses it because Allah told us already that there will be those people who are who will refuse the message are are not going to accept the message Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing and upon their Vision there's a there is a a veil and prepared for them a great punishment so means it means to cover something tightly and this this verse can be used against theis this believers who say that the prophet is the last prophet Messer because is from the same root as is the same thing it is to seal something tightly and if Allah sealed the prophet Hood tightly you're not going to have mmed sipping through yeah so this what is one of the verses that we can use against because if they say does not mean complete seal then here this verse does not mean complete seal and if there is no complete SE seal upon the disbelievers then how did Allah prepare punishment for them how are they going to go to Hellfire if if their their hearts are not sealed if it's not complete seal so this verse can be used against them for their the games and manipulations that they play so means to seal something tightly upon their hearts so their hearts are sealed tightly and now the heart has many diseases Allah mentions in the Quran like rest strictness that their hearts have towards the truth R uh covering upon their heart of the sins that they do hardship right means moving away right deviation and and the worst of all of those diseases is the dead heart the heart that is dead completely shut Dead uh when have you seen the person who's dead that we have revived him so the dead heart is the worst of all of those diseases and there are diseases who have all of these combined there's Hearts sorry that have all of these diseases combined locks they have tight tightly upon their hearts they have all of this covering of the sins they have everything together and therefore they're not going to accept the truth because they've moved away from the truth upon their Vision there is a veil so also that seal is upon their their hearing just like as it is on their hearts and upon their Vision there is a veil that is been put and for them a painful punishment that is prepared for them and is us used in the Arabic language for when you lock someone but then later on because of of the usage of the of it it became any punishment that someone goes through whether that burning or or hitting or lashing and all of that became and also you can say it is from the mercy of Allah it is a jail or restriction from the mercy of Allah from all types of goodness that a person can get and now uh when we say here Allah have sealed their hearts someone might come and ask then if Allah sealed their hearts then uh isn't that unfair a lot of the people who read the Quran especially the you reverse and people like that they're reading these verses and they say then how is that fair for them how is uh how is that just now those people that Allah sealed their hearts are the people who chose in the beginning to oppose Allah so that sealing of the heart is only a consequence of a first action that the person takes it is not a start a beginning action that Allah does but it is a result uh after that someone chooses this belief and where is the evidence for that if you read the Quran go to chapter 16 of the Quran and you read from verse 107 Allah says that is because they preferred this life over the Hereafter and Allah does not guide the disbelieving people so they prefer it first and then Allah says those are the ones that Allah sealed their hearts and their hearing and they have all of this veils on their vision and those are the ones who are completely unaware of that which is happening around and Allah say in the Quran when they deviated the way then Allah deviated their hearts says when they moved away then Allah moved their hearts away so it is a consequence of the action that they take first then Allah gives them these diseases in their heart as a punishment and as a consequence for all of these different things and we stop here inshallah uh and we take a quick uh qu Q&A from the people inshallah who are here uh anything I I said correct is from Allah anything I said wrong is from me and the Shan subh okay any questions inshallah especially regarding uh so we can change our mind listen to the explanation don't worry I did give you the explanation and Subhan Allah can you guys read this name blocked atheist are you saying that you you're blocked from from guidance or what this verse like probably addressing you you know you're actually an 8s I don't know what you are but like this name is like you blocked yourself aist this letter is this verse is literally saying that you blocked yourself and if you're atheist I'm happy you're here you're listening to of the Quran even though you're an atheist may Allah guide you to the truth is this stream recorded no it's not recorded brother I'm talking to you right now uh but I don't deal with the chat when uh I do the taper because I'm on the other page which is the page that I'm sharing you stop sharing now so when I share the screen I have to go to the page in order for me to highlight the verses and all of that so I cannot see the screen in the same time highlight or probably I need to get a small monitor or something for the chat you know just down here so I can read the chat at the same time probably be doing that uh but I don't want to do that so we can take a lot of time as well uh if I engage too much with the chat it's going to take much longer uh okay seems like there's no questions today yeah will you also do episodes I I do not know I don't think I got enough time to do that the part about veiling their hearts and seing them can you explain this more their Fai is delayed I did explain this so the the the ceiling as I mentioned in the Quran if you go to the chapter 16 of the Quran verse 107 and you read that ceiling Allah says it is for those who choose this life over the the Hereafter those who choose this belief those who deny the verses of Allah those are the people who the ceiling is for them so it is a consequence a necess a necessary consequence that happens after you disbelieve and you choose to uh deviate and go against Allah the faith delayed all of this Believers faith is delayed until they die isn't it when they die if you mean by faith punishment and their punishment is delay is delayed until they die oh it were remain on the channel if you go on playlist you'll find the last here and this one as well I'm always doing stet da brother just because you don't see videos doesn't mean it's not there you know but uh I was going to upload one today actually but uh the edit editor that I have buil me he completely disappeared then in the middle of the job you know uh apparently I was too harsh on him because he didn't do what I asked him to do literally so uh he completely disappeared well he said he's going to disappear but then he disappeared so I couldn't upload that video because it needed a little a little bit of uh editing but inshah it will be uploaded if not this week then next week there is Street videos that will come don't worry they are there ready but uh they need some editing okay let's see the chats that we got because I couldn't see them thank you for your work brother given me many benefits and made me more firm in my faith and Islam may be may you be among those who stand in the shade on the day of judgment and Allah shade yes may Allah reward you mean are you going to explain too well is specific to verses and sometimes chapters are the smaller but it is to do with verses uh not all the time if there is if I find there is a need and it is very relevant to an explanation of a verse then we can mention it the people need to understand that I'm not really mentioning everything that I can mention you know because like if I do mention everything that I can mention probably we're we're going to stop at Al only in this whole stream because I will go into the other opinions that are mentioned as well and then their evidences and why their evidences were not as strong in all of that uh so canot mention everything uh or there is not really enough time for you to do that and even if you mention everything you know you've not covered everything you know there are a lot more knowledge out there alikum brother I love your channel so much and I learn a lot as a mus accept how did you learn all of this you listen to the and the scholars and this is not for me well everything I mention right now is taken from my teachers and Scholars and the and the of the Quran and if you go to the any book of probably you're going to see what I'm saying like I'm not like like making something new out of something that was never there you know I'm just delivering information that is already there if we miss a prayer does it make us a disbeliever make prayer is invalid but we say continue uh completely live in the prayer that's a position that I'm taking which is the position of is that completely live in the prayer because the prophet said and it didn't say and there will be a difference between the two Jes just leaving one prayer or leaving all the prayers so we're saying completely abandoning the prayer no nothing this is the ones that would take the position that they are no longer in the fault of Islam uh if God's word is Incorruptible how could someone corrupt the Torah and the Bible uh which God's word are you referring to uh if you're referring to certain verses which mention uh that just the door is moving you know if you're referring to some verses which uh mentions that uh the words of Allah cannot be changed this is is referring to either the Quran if you read the context or referring to the promise of Allah the promise of Allah doesn't change but the previous scriptures have been corrupted and changed by the people and the Quran itself mentions that so you're misusing that verse if you think that verse means what you think doesn't mean that what you think it means okay uh we stop here inallah doesn't seem like there's many question questions on the the uh and we'll see you not next week just for people watching so you can know I'm not going to be here next week is the uh because next week I'm not going to be in the UK so I'm not going to be able to do this next week in so the week after next week inshallah we should be coming back if everything is going good and uh yeah make Dua inah everything goes well for coming and uh yeah anything I said correct is from Allah anything I said wrong is from me the
