Hello, good morning, good afternoon depending where you are in the world and be very very welcome to the live of lesson number two of the free four-part master class wake up your eyes and today we are going to discover how you can improve your vision instantly. So, as you know, we are taking part of this uh free four-part master class where you are actually getting the equivalent of $300 worth of value for free. What I'm going to be teaching during these days is what I used to teach in weekend workshops in Europe, in America, and people would pay $300 or $300 for it. Today we are going to be talking about false myths and limiting beliefs about your vision that you may have heard and maybe it's things that you still believe. So we need to debunk them and transform them into empowering truths that allow you to take care of your own eyesight and improve your vision naturally at any age from any symptom you may be experiencing right now. We are also going to teach you or remind you three exercises that you can practice within minutes and with these exercises you can notice a huge before and after effect. So much so that we are going uh we've been sharing with you uh eye charts and small prints so that you can check your eyesight before you practice after you practice and you can tell how your imp your vision improves. uh right before your very eyes. So you can see with your own eyes how your eyesight improves with these practices. We're going to go deeper on the topics of uh lesson number two. Uh if you if you've been um following this course, you probably watched the video already before you came here. So we'll go deeper in those topics. We are going to teach you things that were not in the video. For example, today we're going to teach you the instant focusing technique. And this technique will allow you to see sharp immediately. Even if you don't wear glasses, if you don't wear contacts, um you don't have uh any magnifying glass. Just with your own body, with your own resources, with your own natural resources, you're you're going to um notice immediately how you can see sharp and focused. This is also going to demonstrate for you how you have a bigger capacity of seeing clearly than you are aware now and uh that will allow you to understand that if you train your eyesight you can see clearer and clearer because you already have that capacity. We're going to talk about alternatives to glasses. Yesterday people were asking about using um uh reduced prescriptions to improve their eyesight or being we were talking about sometimes being without glasses as much as possible if it's safe and of of course if you can be functional for what you need to do in the moment. And today we're going to show you a tool that can replace glasses in many cases. Not in all cases, but in many situations. And not only it can replace glasses, but it can allow you to train your eyesight to see better and better. While glasses, the more you wear them, uh, the more your eyes depend become dependent on them. This tool that I'm going to share with you is not only an alternative for glasses, an alternative uh, and a training tool, but it's also an alternative for sunglasses in many cases, not always. and we'll get in the detail uh of when we can use this or that tool. Uh we're also going to talk about light, about sunlight, dangers and benefits. Um people talk a lot these days about blue light. Some people wear blue blockers and even if you've been trying to uh be updated on that, you may have some uh erroneous or partial information on the topic. So, we'll talk about sunlight and um artificial light a little bit, blue light, red light, and um yeah, how to make the most of the light that you have at your disposal while avoiding the risks of the lights that are not good for you. Uh we are also going to take the time to answer common questions the questions you may be uh uh asking as we uh go on with the class and uh on the way you may uh know or listen to some other people that have improved their eyesight with these methods and techniques that I'm going to be teaching. Now I would like to know where you are uh coming from where you are participating and it's interesting that I just uh uh I had just updated these slides and uh it seems that I have the the old information doesn't matter. Let me um let me add let me add this. Okay. Um anyway, where are you participating from? I see that there's people from Indiana, from Montreal, Canada, from Oregon, from San Francisco, from the United States, from Ontario, Arizona, uh, Canada. Um, a lot of people from North from North America for the moment. Maybe the Europeans are starting to show up. Also, people from England, from the UK, uh, New York. I saw earlier someone from the Netherlands. Uh, great. Okay. Uh, something's wrong with the uh, slides that I'm trying to update. Okay, there you go. Okay. Well, the slides keep updating. So, yes, people from the UK, K, Missouri, the United States, Washington, Quebec, Missouri, you don't need to put stars on these things, please. Team, uh, the South Pacific. Uh, okay. So, we have again a very diverse crowd and some people are very excited for what we're going to be learning. Um, and um I see someone from Indiana. I spent a year in Indiana a long time ago. Um, so so nice to see people. I I was in Southbend for a year. So nice to see people uh from various places. Okay. Um while I'm trying to check the issue that we're having with the slides, um I'm going to let um uh Danna Elia talk about uh how when they went through Wake Up Your Eyes for the first time, the information they discovered about sunlight limiting beliefs and the practices that we're about to teach you uh help them in their own vision journey. I don't know if Elia Danna Elia you want to go to speak. Okay, go ahead. Hi everyone, my name is Ilia. I am part of the I know team. I'm also a physical therapist and vision coach. H I remember I joined the team while using glasses wearing glasses. Um now I no longer need them. I knew nothing about natural vision. Um, I have learned a lot about it. I have also unlearned some things do. Well, I'm so happy to be here. I'm so happy to share with you my story. So, welcome back to this second session of clear sight of wake up your eyes free course. >> Thank you. Thank you uh for uh sharing a little bit about you. So what was interesting about Elia most of the uh people in the team um in the clear sight method team have first been students of the clear sight method and many of them have been trained also as vision coaches. But in the case of Ilia, uh she was hired for other talents and she was very embarrassed or surprised when she would come to the team meetings and she was the only one wearing glasses and of course uh team members can participate in the clear sight method for free. And so uh she did and within uh weeks months uh she was free from glasses again and seeing clearly. And it's interesting to have her perspective also as a physical therapist because uh in in physiootherapy you learn how to train uh other body parts and muscles uh but they don't teach you about how to improve your eyesight. They they teach you how to uh recover from an ankle sprain or write a broken bone etc. And so I understand what but what you learned was also very coherent and made sense compared to things you had learned in physiootherapy. It just was a missing part, a missing spot from your training, right? >> Yeah. Yeah. >> And uh now you also are trained as a vision coach. So that part that was uh uh not uh that you hadn't studied in physiootherapy got covered. Thank you. Thank you very much uh Elia. And I have now the right uh right slide. So this is this is good. Anyway, so I was saying that we have people participating like almost six million people participating from 192 countries in the 10 years that we've been sharing these uh online courses. Um and I see there's more people from the UK, Quebec, Missouri, South Pacific, New Brunswick, California, Saskatchewan, uh London, and um yeah, and uh and many other places. So, welcome everyone and uh as we are going on with this uh free four-part master class, we're we keep growing online. Our YouTube channel in Spanish, which is bigger one than the YouTube channel in English, uh has surpassed 53 million views. Our most viral video has over 7 million views. The second has more than 3.3 million views. We have over 490,000 subscribers on the Spanish YouTube channel and uh more than 370,000 subscribers on our um email newsletter. And you are part of this visionary movement and you can share um to spread clear vision. So share with your friends, share um with people that you know that have uh vision problems like uh you probably do if you're here. probably you wear glasses or contacts or you have had surgery or you are afraid of having to have surgery and so if this is the case you're in the right place. Okay. Um Okay. Again, are you interested or are you uh committed? The difference if you're interested you will just listen for general information which is great. If you're committed, you will be practicing as well. So, if you uh if you are committed, you probably have watched already um lesson number one um the video and the live. And the live is still in the YouTube channel. For those who cannot find it, uh if you check uh clear sight method on YouTube, uh you'll find the recording of yesterday's of yesterday's live. um if you watched um so I would like to know if you watched video number two as well that we sent uh by email and if that's the case you probably discovered and practiced sunning and I'm seeing people from uh Cape uh town in South Africa and people that are saying they're very committed and and excited this is great okay so if you practice sunning if you watch video number two and you practice sunning Uh what did you notice? I see some people just finished video number two. So if you just finished uh then maybe you haven't had the opportunity yet to uh practice sunning. Mhm. But if some of you have done sunning, for example, Maria, what did you notice practicing sunning? What were the sensations in your eyes, in your face, in your well-being? What did you notice? Did you um check um and look at the uh eye charts and the small prints before and after practicing sunning? Um if you did, you will have noticed uh the difference. Now uh because we're doing this uh course uh in a very compact uh way this time. So in a very very short time. Again, maybe you haven't had the opportunity yet to watch video number two and practice sunning and see the difference. So, let me have Okay, I see um that you did the sunning and you could read better after the session. Great. And uh also, yes, I'm totally committed. I have practiced everything and definitely saw the difference. It's amazing. It makes me feel so hopeful. Great. Uh some people have just watched and are looking forward to practicing sunning. Okay. I can really feel my eyes and some general well-being. Great. Sunning was so interesting. Beautiful. So this is what we want to read and to see that you are practicing and that you are getting the results. Now um okay also clear vision immediately. So you see if you practice you can have results, you can see improvement. We are going to explain sunning again in a moment but uh and more practices and more techniques that will help you improve your eyesight. Um but I would like to invite Danna also to say quickly a few words about what sunning meant for you when you started practicing. >> Hello. Hello everyone. Congratulations for being here. Yes, sunlight being outside. For me, it was a new relationship with the sun. Yes. Knowing that this natural resource we have every day, even if it's not, it's always there. It's always there, the sun. And for me, it was uh discovering that my eyes responded so well to the sun. And I don't know, have you ever read a book using sunlight? It's so much different. Yes. Than artificial light. And even out being outside because if we are alive, if we are if our pets are alive, if our plants are alive is because of the sun. Sunlight. Yes. With a a very conscious use of that light. It's so so beneficial. And it really changed my way of seeing and my way of being too. as as people were were sharing with us this general well-being when taking advantage of that sun. >> Okay, thank you very much. And uh so we had the time to see a few more people uh saying uh I have been sunning for years. I can always read much better with natural sunlight of course and uh yes I practice sunning. Interesting. I could read all the lines. So sunning is an extremely powerful technique to improve your eyesight. And when you ask how do you make it last longer, we're going to be talking about that. Make it a daily habit to practice palming, to practice sunning, and uh make sure that you also show up uh to lesson number three because tomorrow we're going to talk about something that is a complete game changer. But let's continue with today's lesson. So do you want to keep improving your eyesight even more? I suppose the answer is yes. So, make sure that you're registered at clearsitemethod.com to get all the lessons, the four lessons. Yesterday, most people were registered, so I'm not going to insist a lot on that. And um about me, uh if you were here yesterday, so you already heard it. I'm not going to go um to take more of your time on this. Just know that uh I am Dr. Ano Federico. I have two research scientific PhDs and a honorary doctorate. I am a tenure professor at the University of Tulus, France and the director of the international center for vision coaching at the international university of human development and leadership in Mexico. I'm the creator of the clear sight method and the director of the vision center for vision coaching. So uh since 2023 I have been training 250 um uh vision coaches uh and some of them are here with us and uh I am the co-editor of the first u uh anthology on natural vision impro improvement that became an instant international bestseller. The clear sight method has received plenty of awards. Uh I'm not going to uh go in depth in there. And the reason why I'm telling you about this uh well it's because you deserve to know that what we're going to be talking about is really serious scientifically based and um and proven. I myself explained yesterday how I improved my vision three times at the physical level, at the chemical level and at the emotional level. And you can also improve your eyesight like I have done like uh hundreds thousands of people have done. thanks to the ideas that I'm teaching. And if you want to keep improving your eyesight, uh it's important that today we talk about false myths and limiting beliefs around eyesight and vision. Okay. Um so probably you have heard uh at some point uh one or several of these sentences and maybe you believe some of them or you have believed some of them. For example, a lot of people think that eyesight problems are genetic and uh because of that you cannot do anything about it. You're doomed to have the eyesight uh problems if they run in the family. And um for that we need to talk about two things. First, nowadays epigenetics is uh speaking more and more about how genes are not a determination, a biological determination, but rather the genes are activated on and off depending on environmental aspects. So, what you do, how you eat, if you move, if you're in the sun, uh how your emotions are, if you live in a an environment that has toxicity, if you have good relationships with others, um if you have a purpose in life and so on and so forth, all these things which you have control of to a certain uh on to a certain extent actually impact whether certain genes are activated or not. So even genetic is not necessarily biological determination. On the other hand, um there's been research showing how even within uh population, for example, in the 70s there was a research done with the Inuit um and uh the Inuit populations in Alaska, Eskimos and so on. Uh they tend to marry among themselves. So there's not genetic change over time because it's the same pool of genes that are actually uh keeping among themselves. Right? And in the 70s they observed that in three generations that we're going to call the grandparents the parents and the children there was a drastic change in eyesight where genetics had not changed. What had changed was lifestyle. The grandparents lived the traditional uh lifestyle in the ice, living in the igloo, fishing, hunting, and even though these um conditions were quite extreme, they had extremely good eyesight far and near. The parents started to have a hybrid um lifestyle. Um maybe they went hunting and fishing now and then on the weekends, but they lived in apartments and they worked in factories and they started to have their eyesight decline. And the children, the third generation that in the 70s joined u the um general education like all the average American kids. Well, guess what? The generation of children had exactly the same levels of prevalence of myopia, nearsightedness and other eyesight problems as any other average American kid. What changed for this population was not genetic was it was um the context, the conditions, the lifestyle, the habits. Um in the same way um so over a 100red years the statistics have evolved on uh eyesight. Um in 1920 there was only 5% of people having myopia or nearsightedness in Western Europe and North America. Nowadays there's 41 to 47% of European and and um and North American population having nearsightedness or myopia in a 100 years our genes have not changed so much if it was genetic only there would have only been max a change of 10% in five generations but the change is a lot more what has changed is our lifestyle even we can see in the uh in 2020 and 2021 during the lockdowns of COVID already at the end of the first three months of lockdown and then we were locked uh for two years. Uh there were all kinds of signs of alarm about the decline of eyesight for people in three months between March and June 2020. Genetics had not changed. We were the same people. What had changed was their living conditions. We were indoors, not exposed to the sun, moving less, um being very very stressed about our health, uh about uh our dear ones, uh being under stress because we couldn't get out of home or see our beloved people, stressed about our jobs, uh stressed about the future, about the economy, etc. So, in those three months where eyesight declined a lot, genetics hadn't changed. It was really habits and lifestyle. So if you were believing that uh if that eyesight problems are genetic, know that there is hope. There's the possibility to do something and to transform and improve your eyesight if you take care of your habits and your lifestyle. A lot of people believe that after 40 your vision gets worse and that uh eyesight problems come with age. Uh there's almost as if there is a normal quotequote normal. Normal only means statistically frequent by the way. Uh as if there was a normal normal progression like at 40 you get glasses for reading and then at 50 uh then cataract start and at 60 macular degeneration and at 70 glaucoma and uh things get progressing in that way and it doesn't have to be that way. A lot of the people that come to see me come after their 40s, their 50s, and that's when they start improving their eyesight after sometimes decades of having worn glasses. Also, if you want to know about uh the historical evolution of presbopia or the need for reading glasses quote quote with age, um 30 years ago, the normal time to start having presbopia was your 50s. 10 years ago, it was your 40s. And nowadays more and more people start having presbopia in their mid30s like 35 to 38. And this is talking about the fact that this is not a biological determination otherwise this age would remain stable. What has changed is our lifestyle and our habits. Also, if you um have a subscription to Netflix, you could check this documentary called um a living 100 years, the um secret of blue zones. And um the producer of this documentary visits uh well these famous blue zones where there's a lot of longevity, a lot of people who live beyond 100 years. And of course, his interest is in longevity. And he has found that eating a diet that's plant-based and naturally moving, not necessarily exercising or doing sports or going to a gym, but that your lifestyle includes movement naturally. Um, having a close-knit community of relationships and having a purpose in life. Um, well, these things are very important for longevity. And what's interesting is that in these blue zones like Lomalinda in the United States, Cicaria in Greece, uh Nikicoa in Costa Rica, um Okinawa in Japan, and some others, the Hanza in the Himalayas, uh the Vila Kabamba in Ecuador, um in these places where people live more than 100 years, very frequently, they very seldomly need glasses for reading. Very, very seldomly. You can watch the documentary and you will barely see anyone wearing glasses. They're using their phone. They're cooking. They're knitting. Uh they're uh creating instruments and doing all kinds of close-up work and they can see perfectly well. So that's another demonstration that it's not compulsory uh that after your 40s your vision gets worse. It depends on the choices that you make, the habits you cultivate. And if you cultivate good habits, you could have an optimal life, an optimal eyesight for life. And uh if you cultivate bad habits then yes of course eyesight declines with age. Okay. Another uh yeah living to 100 the secret of blue zones. Another uh false uh idea that a lot of people have heard is that if you need glasses you should wear them all the time. I was told that when I was given a prescription for glasses. By the way I've never bought glasses and I've never worn glasses. uh I always have to borrow them so that I have them for demonstrations. Uh but in any case uh when I was given a prescription to buy glasses, I was told I should wear them all the time. When you wear glasses all the time, your eyes become dependent on the glasses because the glasses themselves create bad habits for looking. Uh they make your gaze rigid and a good eyesight requires movement of the eyes. They limit your peripheral vision with the frame. Um and good eyesight requires a good relationship between the peripheral vision and the central vision. Um they inhibit the blinking and we saw yesterday how blinking is very important for good eyesight and for the well-being of your eyes. And they also filter light. Any kind of glass, any kind of contact. Of course, sunglasses even more. But any kind of glass, even the window glass that you put in front of you between you and the sun is filtering part of the light spectrum and it's thus not nourishing properly your retina. Your retina needs to be stimulated correctly by the full spectrum of sunlight to function well. And your nervous system and your endocrine system also needs to be regulated by sunlight. Uhhuh. So, it's important to wear glasses, contacts, sunglasses as little as possible, as reasonably possible. Yeah. Um, also, uh, we may talk more about this later, but you may not be aware that in your eyes there's different kinds of photosensitive cells. the cells that allow you to see, of course, but also there are other photosensitive cells that regulate your nervous system, your endocrine system, and also that help your body synthesize vitamin D. Up to um 2018, the belief was that vitamin D was synthesized by the sun that touches your bare skin, right? And there's some of that going on, but the most of the vitamin D is actually synthesized by the uh sunlight that can go inside your eye. And there's some logic to that because the eye is the most transparent part of the body where this where the light can go the uh the more to the inside. So when you're wearing glasses and contacts and sunglasses, you're depriving yourself from synthesizing vitamin D that is very necessary for many processes in your body. Ben uh well there's also a lot of people that believe that eyesight at best remains stable uh but it can only get worse and it cannot improve. A lot of people believe that uh vision improvement is impossible and that's funny because like any other body part any other organ can improve if you train it if you care for it. Why would the eyes be an exception? They're not. Actually they're not. And if you practice sunning, if you practice palming, you have already started noticing improvements. And even if they're little improvements, even if they're for a few seconds, they're a demonstration that your eyes have the capacity of improving. And if you keep practicing, if you keep doing these things regularly, well, guess what? All these improvements are going to build on each other. And maybe there will be some fluctuations like anytime you learn something with your body. That happens also if you try to learn an instrument or a practice like yoga or some martial art. But what's important is that the tendency goes up. Yeah. Um Okay. And uh a lot of people believe that glasses or surgery are the only options and that there's nothing else you can do for your eyesight. And well uh I wouldn't blame them. Uh glasses and surgery have been with humankind since the 12th century. So uh of course they've been around for centuries and centuries and they're very ingrained in the collective consciousness whereas natural vision improvement uh the scientific approach to natural vision improvement has only only been with us for a 100red years. 100 years is a lot of time but compared to uh the 12th century uh well it's a lot less of course um and there's traditions eastern traditions like in tai chi chikong and yoga where um also there's um uh ancient practices that teach that used to teach and teach nowadays too how to take care of your eyes and improve your eyesight. So no glasses and surgery are not the only options. There's also the possibility to learn how to care for your eyes and improve your eyesight naturally. Now, it is a choice. Uh for me, what's important is that you know that this possibil is exist and then uh you get to do and to choose whatever you uh believe is uh best for you. Now, some people believe that if you were born with uh symptoms already, if your symptoms are congenital, you cannot do anything with them. I was born with three symptoms. Myopia or nearsightedness, a straismos or a squint, an amlopia or a lazy eye. Right? My brain was only taking care of uh the information from one eye. I was born with these eyesight symptoms and I healed from them within the first year of my life. So even if you've had your symptoms uh from birth, you can improve from them. Even if they quote quote run in the family Uhhuh. Because people believe if if it runs in the family, I can do anything. Guess what? If it runs in the family and you learn how to improve your eyesight and how to see clearly by yourself with your own eyes, you can be um a beacon of light. You can be an inspiration in your family and be the first one to make a shift so that now what can run in the family is clear vision and clear eyesight. Uh Diana, I believe it was also your experience to have uh uh vision problems from childhood and you could recover from them decades and decades after. >> It's Yes, that's right. I I began at 8 years old with vision vision symptoms, vision problems with strabismas, stigmatism, hyperopia and later in life well presbopia dry eye and at 51 I discovered the the wake up your eyes course this natural vision course and well I took the option because I had known all traditional of technology um glasses all my my life. So, okay, I I g I gave it a try and I said, "Okay, there's another option here to try it naturally and I improved. I began improving after even one month after uh doing well this the palming that we we spoke about yesterday was the first practice I did and I immediately saw the result >> because my eyes relaxed and then I added sun and more techniques that are coming and well we we talked about blinking simple things >> that we are not aware of. Especially today, yes, in front of the screens, but um taking this into consideration that our eyes need our attention, not only not only the body, but our eyes can improve too. So today at 57, I have better vision that at eight, you know, and yeah, it was it is great. That's why I I insist on on going outside, taking advantage of that sunlight, being in a room with well lit natural light. >> Yes, >> as much as possible. Absolutely. Absolutely. Diana, thank you so much. Um I see that some people are saying uh like I have lived with many assumptions about my eyesight at 70 plus years. Well, Suzanne, uh this is the best moment. Uh I mean I wish that we would have known um the truth about all of this um 70 years ago, but the next best moment to learn about it uh is right now. So you are in the right place and we're going to keep teaching you more useful things to take care of your eyes and improve your eyesight. But it's important to clear these uh limiting beliefs because if we believe there's nothing we can do about our eyesight, then it's clear that we're not going to do anything. And you need to know that there is a possibility there is a an option. Now a lot of people also believe that sunlight is bad for your eyesight um and uh are wearing sunglasses all the time and uh we need to talk about this uh more in depth. Also a lot of people are afraid of blue light and uh they wear blue blockers uh when they use screens. And uh we also need to talk about um sunlight and um blue light and red light. Now as uh Diana was saying the very reason why there's life on this earth is because of sunlight. Uh the plants, the animals, the humans need sunlight to be healthy. Uh sunlight regulates our nervous system, our endocrine system. If uh our circadian cycle is screwed up, uh a lot of things go wrong in how our body is adjusted and the retina gets nourished by light. If the retina is deprived of some of the uh light spectrum, um then it deteriorates. When the retina and the eye are exposed is are exposed to natural sunlight, the kind of of sunlight that we get naturally at the time of the day when we get it, then the retina can remain healthy. The problem is that we're spending more and more time at home um in dark spaces with artificial light and the lights that we have nowadays LED lights are basically blue light and so we're deprived from all the other parts of the light spectrum. uh the lights that we used to have incandescent and halogenous had um a much bigger portion of red light and they were a lot healthier for us in general and for our eyesight in particular. And so if you're going to wear if you're going to most of us are having LED lights at home anyway because that's what you can find in the market. So try to buy them as warm as possible or try to buy those that you can regulate the color so that towards the evening you put them more um towards the red colors or if you cannot do that then um don't use uh the light from above in the evening when the sun sets and bid candles or use um Himalayan salt lamps so that you have a warmer kind of light in the evening. Yeah. Now, for those that are afraid of blue light, actually the blue light that is not good is the isolated blue light from artificial devices, LED lights, screens. Blue light when it's naturally more uh abundant uh with natural light, so sunlight in the middle of the day is actually one of the best ways to prevent myopia. There's been research in Singapore and Australia showing that if kids play two hours in the middle of the day outside, they're less likely to develop myopia. And red light, the red light that is natural from the sun. And when do we find natural red light from the sun? At sunrise and at sunset. If you watch the sunrise or the sunset at sea level particular you can you can look at the solar disc while it's touching uh the water uh it's actually extremely repairing for the retina and it stimulates the mitochondria very much. Now you can also use artificial red light lamps in that case choose the ones that have 670 hertz. That's the kind of red that is the best uh for your retina to repair your retina and when your retina has been exposed to red light naturally at the times when red light is available uh in with natural sun so sunrise and sunset then the retina is stronger to handle also the other kind of uh blue light or violet and also violet light. So being outdoors is really a great great great way uh to protect your eyes and your eyesight. And sunning is a very caring way to precisely nourish your eyes with sunlight. Uh removing the dangers of the um of the light spectrum that could harm your retina and allowing the right kind of uh rays to come in, relax your eyes and stimulate your retina. That's why we're going to uh remind you today how to do sunning properly. And before we go to the sunning, I also want to talk about um the blue blockers. I see a lot of biohackers wearing those glasses that have uh yellow uh tint on them when they're at the screens, when they're at the computer. And why not if you do it for a while, but make sure that you spend time outdoors, that you spend time with the full spectrum of sunlight available to you. I personally instead of the blue blockers uh prefer uh to uh put the filter on the computer and not in front of my eyes because every time you have uh glasses before of your eyes and you have frames uh on your nose, it's generating bad habits for your eyes. It's inhibiting blinking. It's uh making you less aware of your peripheral view, which by the way also has an impact on your um uh autonomous um nervous system. Um because where does danger come from? It always comes from behind or from the sides. Yeah. So if your peripheral vision is limited, guess what? Your body is automatically in alerts mode most of the time. And when we're in alert mode, our vision and our senses function less well. So this is another reason not to wear glasses and not to wear blue blockers either. They inhibit the blinking, they make the eyesight rigid, they filter too much light, and they limit your peripheral view. So rather than using the blue blockers, I would like to invite you to use um physical filters for your screens. For example, uh there's a brand that I like, but you could choose another brand if you prefer. The brand is called reticare and um this brand or others they have physical filters for the screens of all the sizes for all the computers and all the phones and all the tablets. Yeah. And also you can use a virtual filter and flux is a free virtual filter. You could also pay a subscription to Iris. And what this uh virtual filters do is that they change the color of your screen according uh to the time of the day. So when the sun sets, your screen is going to look more um orangey red rather than white. And that's going to help for you not to mess up with your circadian cycle with too much blue light. Now, uh the only reason why I wouldn't use flocks is maybe for designers uh that need to have very specific uh sense of the nuance of the colors. But for most of us uh these um uh virtual filters are a much better solution than using the blue blockers. Okay. Um okay. So um I also promised that I would teach the instant focusing technique and I would like to know uh who wants to learn it. this uh instant focusing technique as I said uh only with your own body you are going to see how you actually can see much better than you usually experience with the instant focusing technique you can see sharp immediately within seconds. Yes. And um so this could be very helpful for example if late in the evening you're in the supermarket and uh you don't have your glasses maybe you haven't yet improved your eyesight completely uh and you need to see a detail of uh the ingredients or the price uh of the product that you're buying right or if you want to read the Bible or the small print in a contract or maybe your phone or anyway any small letters uh that you would like to Mhm. Uh you can see with this instant focusing technique without glasses, without contacts and I see people saying, "Yes, please teach us. Please, please, we want to learn." Great. Okay. So to practice the instant focusing technique, you need to not be wearing glasses and not be wearing contact. Mhm. So that you can prove to yourself that actually you can see so much better uh with your own uh very naked eyes. Yes. Okay. So you have removed uh your glasses, your contacts. Now take a moment to look around without glasses, without contacts and take a glance at things that are around you. I know that in this screen there's several letters of different sizes um that are here. That could be a possibility. But maybe in the room where you are, there's things that you can see far and near and you can check how well you see them without glasses, without contacts. This is so that you have a reference before after with the instant focusing technique. You can also look at the eye charts, the eye chart, the small print and take a glance to see how well you see uh the different kind of letters of the different sizes. Okay. So, now that you've done this Mhm. Now that you have done this, you're going to make a very small hole with one finger. You can do it like this or you can also do it like this, however you prefer. But you make a very very small hole uh with uh your uh with your fingers and you're going to look you close one eye and with the other eye you're going to look through the little hole. Okay? And look through the little hole and pay attention at the letters, the colors, the details. Okay? I can do it like this too. The hole has to be really little like the size of a pin head or the size of the tip of a pencil. Really small. And now look at all the things far and near and look through this very little hole and check how clearly you can see print of different sizes. Mhm. Okay. Now I would like to know if you have practiced uh the instant focusing technique. What have you noticed as you uh were practicing the instant focusing technique? Uh Diana, I was seeing you do this. Of course, you and I have done this many times, but still you notice when you did instant. >> Yeah. But even with my my eye that developed strabismas in the past and that sometimes changes, you know, depending on my my mood and I did it and it was, wow, it's great. Yes, I see it clearly. Yeah, the letters. Yeah. Things far away. Great. Amazing. >> Yeah. So, I would like to know of the people that are watching. Uh, look at that. That's crazy. One eye than the other. Okay. That can happen. >> Did you see clearly? And I see. Wow. Amazing. Okay. I'd like to read some comments of the people that practice. What happened to you? Uhhuh. What did you notice? What changed? Uhhuh. For most people when they do this uh instant focusing technique, what happens is that uh it really allows to see very sharp. Yes. Amazing. Great. Wow. It really is working. That's crazy. Uhhuh. So the people that are saying that's crazy, that's amazing. I guess uh uh you have been surprised. You were not expecting uh that you would see so much better. And I'm going to explain to you uh what is the reason why when you through look through a little hole, you can see so sharp. But before I give you this explanation, I need to highlight something and that is that uh you are seeing clearly with your own eyes. You are seeing clearly without glasses without contacts. It took a couple seconds to adjust and there was fuzziness around the letters but I could see a lower line more clearly. Okay, it works better a bit better and much clearly. Contour and colors. Yes. What happens usually when you look through the little hole is that you see a lot sharper and that you see the colors also more intense. Why does this work? Because by looking through a little hole, if we look at the structure of the eye, yeah, so we have uh the cornea, we said we have the iris. And by the way, when there's a lot of sunlight, the iris becomes uh the pupil becomes smaller. So it does the same effect as looking through the little hole. So this is a reason why also uh breathing in the sun will always work better than with any artificial light. The sun is a lot more powerful than the most powerful artificial knife. Anyway, behind there's the crystallin of the vitrius humor and just in front of the of the iris and the pupil. What do we have? We have the macula. And the macula is the part of the retina that has the most uh cones. And the cones are the photosensitive cells that can see sharp and that can see in color. And in the very middle of the retina, in the very middle of the macula, we have the phobia. The phobia vision is the most sharp and precise that there is in your eye. So when you're doing a little hole or a little hole, you are only being aware of how well you see with your phobia and with your macula. You're looking just with the most precise pixel that you have in your eye. Okay. I was able to use the small hole to focus. Incredible. Okay. So now people who see well like me, like Diana, who have learned to look well and see well, what we do is that we're constantly looking for details. We're paying attention at details and we're letting our eyes move freely to look for details and our memory remembers the various kinds of details that we have looked at. And so it's our brain that is giving us a general clear image. People who don't see well and especially if you're using glasses, they tend to diffuse. They tend to try to see everything equally sharp and move their eyes very little. When you do that, your actually your eyesight gets worse and worse over time. So what you need to do is you need to train your fial vision. You need to train your brain to pay attention at one pixel of information that it can be very sharp and you need to train your eyes to move more so that uh your memory can remember everything you saw. That's how you see well. And it makes sense that uh that we see like this because we said yesterday that the retina and the phobia is the tissue in the body that consumes the most oxygen. So if we had a very big phobia uh and we would see sh everything sharp at once, it would consume so much oxygen that it wouldn't be uh possible for humans. But the resources that the memory requires are much lower resources than what the retina requires. So we need to train to look for details and move our eyes. And guess what tools what tool um allows for that without having to go like this through life, right? Pinhole. Yes. So somebody was asking, do you recommend pinhole glasses? Absolutely. Pinhole glasses really are uh black plastic and they just have holes. There are no lenses here. Uh they're just holes. If you have a a pin, uh you could actually pass it through the hole. Yeah. Uh Diana brought one and you can see the tip on the other side. The technology is very simple. It's just a bunch of holes on a set of plastic. So the pinhole glasses, you could buy them on the internet in on Amazon. There's um anyway you can find them very cheap. Very often they cost between $5 to $10. Uh you could find more fancier ones if you want and they're like 35 to $40. But honestly it's the technology of the hole. You can do it like this. You can also uh use a Kleenex box or any card uh board and cut cut it and poke the holes and you're going to have the same effect. Uhhuh. Okay. Oh, someone was seeing even their eyelash. That's amazing. Okay. Yay. So, Michael says, "I've been I've been using pinhole glasses for years and have never needed reading glasses." Amazing. So, when to use the pinhole glasses? The pinhole glasses are amazing for uh reading. Pinhole glasses are very good uh if you want to read, if you want to watch TV, if you want to go to the theater or the movies. Um basically the pinhole glasses are safe uh when you are not moving fast in an unknown uh context. Yes. Because they're covering a lot of the peripheral view. So you want to be safe. So they're very good for working at the computer, for reading, things like that, for practicing by themselves. And the good thing with pinhole glasses is that they naturally create the pinhole effect. The uh steroscopic um sorry um okay now I'm not finding the word. Anyway, the um >> yes, so the stenopic effects the naturally generating the stenopic effect stimulating your phobia. Uh but because you want to look at different things, uh they're going to invite you to look through different holes. So the pinhole glasses are training two fundamental principles of natural vision improvement. They're training phobial vision or central fixation and they're training movements the sac movements of the eyes. So the interesting thing with pinhole glasses is that when you use them after using them you see better whereas when you use glasses after seeing them after using them you see worse. So over time, pinhole glasses are training you to see better and better and they're an alternative to the glasses or the reading glasses. They work for people with straismos um with stigmatism with nearsightedness, farsightedness. So presbopia, hyperopia, myopia, they work for all kinds of refractive errors. Now, if you have macular degeneration or cataracts, you may not have noticed the difference with the pinhole glasses. But if you have just um refractive errors, the pinhole glasses will help you always. Now, the pinhole glasses can also replace sunglasses. We were saying earlier actually sunglasses uh humankind had not worn human uh uh sunglasses until after Second World War. Uh the sunglasses were created for pilots. Pilots that are higher that are uh driving their planes, they do need the sunglasses. Um but the rest of us um most of the time don't need them. The sunglasses became popular because the pilots were the heroes of second world war and people were trying to imitate the heroes. Yes. Now, there are a few uh uh a few a number of occasions where the sunglasses are um actually justified. If you're a pilot, of course. If you're skiing, of course. If you're in the snow, there's a lot of glare. You need to wear sunglasses for skiing. Uh if you're in the sea and there's a lot of glare from the water, you could use sunglasses or you could use pinhole glasses. And if you are driving against the sun with the sunset uh you may have to use uh sunglasses but the rest of the time sunglasses are not advised because they have more inconveniences than advantages. So for example um if you are out and it's the summer and all of that well how about you wear a hat or you blink more or you go to the the shadow you you stay in the shade. uh try to use alternatives to sunglasses and wear the sunglasses as little as reasonably possible. And instead in the at the sea in the summer, you could use pinhole glasses. They're going to remove most of the sun exposition, but they're still allowing the full spectrum of the sun through every little hole, and they're stimulating your eyesight to get better and better. Okay. So, um Okay. You say that when you use the pinhole glasses, you notice your floaters more. Okay, I can hear that. But if you practice palming and sunning, the floaters will tend to go away. Also, tomorrow we're going to talk about what's the uh what are the underlying reasons of the floaters. We'll talk about that. So, you can also let go of the floaters. Okay. What are they called? Pinhole glasses. Yes. Okay. Let's see what else. Um, in any case with the instant focusing technique, you have noticed that actually you can see well because you were doing it with your own eyesh with resources that you have by yourself without any lens. The only thing is that you need to train good habits of looking well to see well and the pinhole glasses are one of the tools that can help you do that. Okay. Uh what else? What else? We spoke about the pinhole glasses. Uh we spoke about the sunglasses. We already spoke about red light and blue light. And how about we explain um the sunning. Would you like to do that, Diana? Because again, I explained it in the video and every time you hear something again, you can learn it better. And if you hear it from someone else, the nuance of the way of explaining may help you understand it better. So all yours, >> of course. Well, let's do this second star technique. Yesterday we we did the palming and with sun in you will see how this these two works. Marvels. So sunin no glasses or contact lenses. Yeah. And first you need the sun. Yeah. So observe around you. How do you see? How do you perceive colors, textures, letters? Even if you have the the small print, this document that we sent, I understand and I know that some people have had issues downloading the the document. But okay, if you don't have this document, even a book or a magazine will work too. Okay. The page. Any page. So, let's I'm going to stand up to show you. Yeah. Because I like it. You can do it sitting down. You have the sun there. Better if if it's in the morning where the the rays are at this level of the eyes. Yes. Or in the afternoon, the afternoonwards. So, looking at the sun with closed eyes. Never look at the sun with open eyes. Yes, you start moving your head from one side to the other. You can do it sitting down or you can stand up. Yes, I have a big window there. So, I will imagine I have the sun in front of me. So, you close your eyes in a safe place. Yes. always safety. And I began to move my head from one side to the other. So the warmth of the sun, the light comes through the eyelids. Yeah, I know. I some minutes ago explained how these rays go through the pupil to the retina to the phobia, the macula. H. So you move your head from side to side. And not very quickly, not do this. Yes, very gentle. You can do this. You can over stra strike your forehead. Relax. You can move your body too. Very safely and gently. Yeah. With your eyes closed. Okay. And the sun is there and it's giving you this warmth, this light. And when you move your head, one eye is in the shadow and one eye is in in light. So this create contrasts of light and darkness. Then we are going to talk about more about it. These contrasts h benefit the movement of the iris and the pupil and do this. Yes, the eye inside is doing this movement. So we move from one side to the other. You can you can stay here the the time five minutes 10 minutes the time you feel comfortable about okay and this is very good even for your whole body because sunlight is going all over your body but are the the eyes are receiving the light and as we said before vitamin D is synthesized through the pupils even if the eyes are closed closed. Eyes closed. The sun is there. Yeah. Okay. So, you move and you stay there. You can stop the movement with closed eyes and see and feel what is going on, how how your eyes feel with that warmth, with that light, with that contrast of darkness and light. Yes, we have another variant. This is the standard sunning sunning practice. As I said, you can do it standing up or le sitting down. For example, I I like doing this in the mornings. Yes, I go to my backyard. I I'm barefooted bare feet and I put them on the grass. I feel it. So, every everything goes goes in the body and my eyes. Okay. Okay. This is the stand the standard sun in now with the sun in front of us and eyes closed. Yes, you can use your hands your fingers and while you are looking at the sun with eyes closed, you do this movement, you do this movement with your fingers in front of you, eyes closed. I repeat it because I don't want you to harm your eyes. Okay? And this is called the caladoscope. The inner caloscope once you start doing this observe. Yes. Observe what happens. You will see the contrast of light and darkness. But also you will start perceiving colors. Yes. And maybe you see orange or red or even green. Yes. When you practice this, you see colors. All the colors of the rainbow. That's why sunlight is so important because sunlight composes all the spectrum of light. H all the rainbow colors. Yes. So caladoscope inner caladoscope and you move and you do this you can rest your arms. Okay this is with eyes closed standard signing an inner caloscope. We have another variant that we use with the the small print chart or any any paper that you have with letters. Yes, you can take some from a magazine. Yeah, not from a book. Please do not destroy a book. But you can take a paper with with letters in it. H and you put the the letters upside down H. Not to be tempted to read. We don't read anything here. Yeah. Just using the the paper H between the sun and you H. This is called eye shading. Eye shading. This time, this time with a paper here and the sun there, we can open our eyes. This is the only time we can open our eyes. Yes. Because the paper is protecting our eyes from the direct sunlight. Yes. So with this and the sun here we start doing this eye shading moving the page upside down from side to side. Yes. Without without reading anything. Okay. So you do this h sometimes this. Okay. And now you take out the paper. Close your eyes for a minute. You turn the page again on the right side. And now with your back to the sun, start reading now. Yes. Open your eyes and read and see what changes. What happens when you do this? H. Maybe. Yes. that letters become clearer that your eyes are are open to this new light, the sunlight. Yes. And you say, "Wow, now I can read to this this letter." Yes. So you at this time you can open your eyes and read it. So again standard sunlight uh suning sorry standard sun the sun close your eyes and move move your head your body relax. Yes variation number two the inner caloscope the sun there eyes closed your fingers and you move it. Yeah this is very very very and it's fun really. Yeah, children can do it too. And the third variant with the document. Okay. And this is the only time you can open your eyes. Yes. >> Because the paper is between the sun and you now um you can practice so all three kinds of sunning. The bear sunning, the inner kaleidoscope and the um uh with a little paper. And I don't know if you said it in the beginning before and after you practice sunning, you can check with your eye charts and your small print to notice how much do you see when you're indoors versus how much do you see when you are outdoors in natural light and then how much do you see before and after you practice sunning. And you will notice that there's improvement over time of how uh little letters close and near you can see as you practice sun. Sunning is really amazing. Now Diana was saying never look at the sun with your eyes open. There are a few exceptions for that. So, um I would advise you and nowadays you always uh we can all find um uh free apps that tell us about the sun. Yeah. The one I have in my phone is called a sun surveyor, but you can probably find a gazillion others. Um, I have just the light free app that comes with apps or whatever because the only thing I want to know with this app is what's the precise time of sunrise and sunset. Yeah, I'm just updating it. So, sun surveyor or any other app of the of the like. Usually these apps are created for photographers and videographers that of course know that the images they're going to capture with their uh cameras are going to be different depending on the quality of the sunlight. And well, mine is in Spanish, but it basically tells me uh what's the blue hour, when is sunrise, what's the golden hour, uh when is um uh the middle of the day, solarly speaking, what's the golden hour in the evening, sunset and the blue hour after sunset. And actually during sunrise and um sunrise, sunset and the golden hour, those are amazing moments to practice sunny. If you are at sea level, you can look directly at the sun when it's rising and when it's setting as long as this uh solar disc is touching the horizon. Uh if you are behind the mountain, by the time time the sun is out of the mountain, it's too high. So it may be dangerous to look at it directly. But at at sea level, sunrise and sunset, you can look safely into the sun. there's a lot of red light and it's going um to actually uh protect and repair your retina. Now there are people uh um so for a couple minutes you can do this. Yes. Um there are people who practic practice other techniques that we're not going to talk about here like sungazing and uh if you have the proper very uh disciplined training for sungazing then you can look at the sun beyond sunrise and sunset at sea level when the sun is touching the horizon for but for most of us uh the sunrise and the sunset is safe in the conditions where you're at sea level and the solar piece is touching the horizon. Now at all other times you can always gaze towards the sun with your eyes closed and that is sunny. And now please never never look into a solar eclipse without protection. You could fry and burn your retina and that could be a permanent damage. Yes. So very careful about it. Uh what's the name of the app? So the one I have uh is called Sun Surveyor. I'm going to type it in the chat, but I'm sure that there are more. done and it it's for free. Uhhuh. And uh it doesn't matter in what part of the world you are um the latitude and the longitude. It will tell you specifically for where you are what's the time of sunrise and sunset. Now there's a lot of questions about sunning that we always get right. Uh sometimes people wonder what are the eye charts and the small print. There are these documents that we provided with video number two under it. Uh they just have different you know uh it's like a standard eye chart with different letters of different sizes. Mhm. And the small print is a document that you can uh check how well you see at the distance of your elbow. Yeah. Why the distance of your elbow? Because this is normal reading distance and you always have the reference of your own elbow. You don't need to have measuring tape or whatever. You can check always at the same uh distance. You're seeing better and better over time. And you will if you practice what we're teaching you. Yeah. But again, if you couldn't find them, if you couldn't print them, you could do the same with books and magazines and journals and posters and things that you have at home with different uh sizes of letters. Okay. Um, do you practice uh sunning with glasses or contacts? No, that's a question that we got also here in the chat. The very idea of sunning is to stimulate your retina with natural sunlight with uh the full spectrum of sunlight. If you're practicing with uh glasses and contacts, they're filtering uh the effect. Also, the idea is to see before and after how your eyesight is improving. And for that, how can you see if your eyesight is improving if you're wearing your glasses all the time? It doesn't make sense. You need to spend some time every day and right after palming or right after sunning is a moment where you want to expand the time where you're not wearing the glasses and contacts. Um, also some people have asked if they can practice um stunning um like behind the closed window. Okay. So, um the ideal is really to do it outdoors to have your whole body outside, but if you're going to do it at home indoors, have your window open so that all the sun is coming in. Now, if you tell me uh that um so this is the very question that is being asked right now. What if I'm behind the window seeing the sun through the glass? The glass is going to filter some of the uh solar rays. So, it's not going to have the same effect. Now, if you tell me I live in the Great Lakes where it's uh minus40 degrees uh Celsius or I live in Scandinavia where it's winter for months and months and it's very cold and it's difficult to open the window and have the sun come in fully or to be outdoors. Well, in that case, it's better to do sunning behind the closed window than not to do it at all. Okay? But really the idea is that your eyes are exposed to sun with the only barrier of your own eyelid and nothing more. No lens, no glasses of any kind. Yeah, that's the optimal. Okay. So, um what if I have lenses? I've had cataract surgery and I already have artificial lenses inside. Well, leave them where they are and the sun is going to benefit you. Nevertheless, it's going to help the structures around the eye and muscles relax, the retina, etc. So, yeah, we optimize with that. And what do we do when it's cold or where or when it rains or if it's cloudy or we're in in the um in the winter? Um well, uh when it's very cloudy, and a lot of people in the UK or in the north of France experience that very often, right? So, the sun is a luxury. You can then do clouding. Mhm. Or skying. And uh if you're not looking at the sun directly, if you're looking at the sky or the clouds, you can keep your eyes open and you can blink more. And there's a lot of natural sunlight is available when you're sun when you're skying or clouding and it's also going to help you. Uh Diana, you want to add something uh to these recommendations, these questions? Um yes when you are outside uh I I said before that the sun is always there. Yes even if there are clouds also there is some light there is natural light and that is that is better that being inside if you can. Of course. Yes. If if the weather uh is good and and is is is warm, but take advantage of that natural side even if there are clouds, even if it is raining. Yeah, we said that um we can look at details. Look at the drops of the rain. Look at the different shades that the the clouds provide. >> Those are colors, too. And they are uh nourishment for for our retina, for our cones, for our macula. Yes. >> Absolutely. Absolutely. So there's a few more questions that I would like to address also questions in the chat. Um so for how long do we practice sunning? Huh? How long uh for how many times and how many days? How many weeks? These questions uh come all the time. So how um how long do we practice? I'm going to say the same thing as I said yesterday. Learn to take inner signs of what is pleasant for you. So maybe in the beginning you're going to practice a few seconds or a couple minutes and as your eyes get and your body gets more accustomed uh to being exposed to the sun uh you may want to stay longer. Also, it depends whether you live in Ecuador or Scandinavia, if you're at sea level or you're in the mountains, if it's winter or if it's summer. And who is going to best tell you how long to remain in the sand? Your own body. H there's so many diversity of conditions that if I would say something, it would be right for some people and right and not right for others. It's all it may be right in the beginning but not right later or the other way around. So the best criteria that you can have is pay attention at your body signs. If you're feeling comfortable, you can do it again. You can keep doing it. If you experience discomfort, stop, do palming, go to the shadow, change your activity. Yeah. Now um with palming we said that if you have glaucoma you shouldn't practice palming or hydro um hydracular pressure you shouldn't practice palming more than five minutes in a row. With sunning there isn't that kind of restriction. And actually we're going to teach you a trick to combine sunning and palming so that you can practice more if you have glaucoma or intraaccular pressure. But um uh wait a moment. We're going to run through other things before. So, how many times a day should I do sunning? My advice is do them as many uh as as many times as possible. As many times as you have the opportunity. If you can be outdoors three, four, five times in the day at different moments, even if it's for a few minutes, not only is it going to help for your eyesight, but it's also going to help for your circadian cycle, for your endocrine system, and your nervous system. Yeah. So it's amazing if you could do sunning when you wake up early in the morning and then at some point during the morning and then in the middle of the day when the sun is the highest and then uh towards the moment where the sun is going to set those four times would be amazing but if you can do sunning more even for a few minutes it's beautiful and for how long how many days how many weeks how many months should I practice sunning well how many months do you drink water or brush your teeth or take a shower or put cream on your skin or go exercise. The idea for sunning is that it becomes a habit and uh what things that are habitual in the beginning it takes a little bit of willpower to implement them into your daily life and after some time you just do them automatically and it doesn't feel like it's uh something that you have to do. Plus it's really minutes. So, how about, for example, when you uh go get your kids at school, instead of waiting in the car, step outside and practice some sunning? Or when you have a break for lunch, um just take a few minutes to be outdoors and practice sunning. If you have a balcony, if you have a window, if you have a terrace, a garden, a park nearby, it's very easy to practice p um sunning. Okay. Does sunning help for your symptom? Yes, it does. Sunning is amazing and important and useful for every symptom. The retina needs to be stimulated by sunlight and the sun also relax the muscles of the eyes and relax the face and the vitamin D is very good for your health in general. Sunning works amazing to reduce sensitivity to light photosensitivity glare. Sunning works amazing to let go of presbopia, myopia, cataracts. Yes, cataracts. I know a lot of people have been told that if they have cataracts or macular degeneration, they should use uh sunglasses all the time. Actually, if you have cataracts and macular degeneration, make sure that you start with red light. Look at the sunrise. Look at the sunset. Start with red light first so that your retina is protected. uh but then do sunning in the other times of the day and they will help uh your eyesight recover. For glaucoma, sunning is very important and with gluccom you can use sunning in combination with palming and then we call it the palming sunning sandwich. How does it work? Well, you are actually going to alternate them. For example, you could start with palming and you could palm up to five minutes, but you could also do 30 seconds, one minute, two minutes. After palming, you're going to do sunning. Any of the uh different practices with sunning. And you can do sunning as long as you want. And then you can do palming. And you can go up to five minutes, not more. And after five minutes of palming, you can do sunning again, right? You can do sunning, you can do sunning. And so when you alternate sunning and palming with glaucoma, you can extend the moment of practice and you're always in the safe zone as long as palming is less than five minutes. And what happens when you're palming and sunning? Well, when you're palming, you're in the dark, so your pupil dilates. And when you're sunning, you're in the light. So your pupil becomes smaller. And so as your iris, the part of your eye that has color uh opens and closes, opens and closes, opens and closes, guess what's happening? You are literally pumping the excess of uh aus humor of your eye. And as you pump the aus humor out, you evacuate it faster, then the intraocular pressure regulates. And that's amazing to prevent glaucoma and to heal from glaucoma, right? So, uh the palming sunning sandwich is amazing in the in this case. Okay. Do you have some uh some comments Diane Dan? Um I was thinking actually about a um a fellow well colleague now because we studied together during the coaching training that he he told us how with um high ocular pressure angllocom he actually started lowering lowering lowering that pressure by doing this simple and quick technique of palming and sunning paling and sunning alternating these contrasts as I was telling before because yes it's movement inside the eyes yes and the the the achus humor flows and drains properly so the eye is moving inside with this practices and that's what we want to encourage you to do move your eyes >> yes so uh there's a question why palming is not suggested for eye pressure for more than five minutes. Uh well because look at the structure of the eye. Um or look at here. >> So when the iris uh when the pupil is dilated then the iris is precisely um close to where the achosaur is evacuating. It's as if you want to um uh let the water out of the sink in your kitchen, but you have a cloth where the water evacuates. It's harder for the water to evacuate. But if you remove the cloth, then the water evacuates faster. So when your pupil is closed, uh the iris is not clogging uh where um the achos evacuates. So, if you have glaucoma, that's a good reason to not wear sunglasses or wear them as little as possible because with sunglasses or in dark artificial spaces, your pupils are constantly dilated and so they're making it harder for the aus tumor to evacuate. Okay. Um, should you not do sunning between 10:00 a.m. and 3 p.m.? Why not? Uh, sunning is amazing any moment of the day. uh you're looking at the sun with your eyes closed so there's no risk for your eyes and uh every time you're outdoors in the sun you're informing your indocrinous system and your nervous system about what time it is and you're regulating you're regulating your circadian cycle so my eyes are usually sensitive to light and I tend to squint eye uh squinting is not good idea maybe you see better with squinting in that moment but you're generating more tension in the eyes so blink more. Do palming, do sunning, and the sensitivity to light will go away. In the meantime, you can use the pinhole glasses when you have uh glare. Of course, you're not like doing outdoor sports uh because or driving. Don't wear pinhole glasses for driving. Yeah. Okay. Um how safe are the uh silver glasses sold for watching the solar eclipse? Would you uh look at the solar eclipse with those uh coated silver uh lenses? Well, I don't know what silver lenses you're referring to, but um actually I don't look at solar eclipses. I'm very conservative that way and I watch it on TV, but I don't look at the sun when there's a solar eclipse. Now, um if you go to um an optician, probably they will send devices that are safe to look at the solar eclipse. Um, Suzanne, I love your message of encouragement for people to listen to their own body. It's so important. Absolutely. It's the best way to choose for how long to practice something. >> Okay, let's see. >> I know even I was thinking about this people that are not used to being in the sun or that have photosensitive, you can start sunning gently. Yes. very gradually and listening to your body. Yes. And you can do it even um under the shade of a tree with the branches. Yes. And there just start there and then little by little you go to the sun. Start gently and and and be be very caring for your for your own body and your eyes. >> Yes. >> Okay. Um let's see. Someone is asking, are you going to talk about convergence and divergence? Not today, but tomorrow we're going to talk about trabismos. Converging or divergence trais tomorrow will not today, but tomorrow. Um, let's see. Uh, just taking my glasses off the last days, I can now read the bottom line with just a little blurry. Yay. Congratulations. Just two days of practicing and so much improvement. Okay. Uh, Suaha says, "So, you don't really need to use sliders or shifters. Use your fingers instead." You could do either. I mean, shifters are good or sliders are good. Fingers are good. The advantage of fingers is that you always have them with you and you don't need to uh buy something or store some some gear. Yeah. But sliders or shifters will work as well. Let's see. Uh, let's see more questions. Is it okay to wear contact lenses when wearing pinhole glasses? Uh, actually the idea is to wear the pinhole glasses instead of the contact lenses. Uh, because if you're doing both, you're kind of pushing uh the brake and the and the speed pedal at the same time. The idea is to train your eyes to pay attention at details and to move. And the contact lenses are kind of avoiding that. So the the best is to wear the pinhole glasses without the contacts. Okay. What if my one eye is much worse than my other eye? Are there specific exercises? Well, um in general, you can then practice first with the eye that sees better with a keen eye and then practice with the quiet eye and then practice uh with them together. Uh we're going to talk about uh straismos and ambilopia tomorrow a bit more. And we're going to talk about a stigmatism tomorrow. Yeah. So for those who want information about specific system uh symptoms tomorrow, we're going um to do that. Um Michael says, "I live in Florida and I'm around water a lot. Guess what? Uh Diana lives in Florida as well. So have a blink more. Uh use spinhole glasses and that's much better than sunglasses." Now the idea here is not to say good, bad, yes, no, always, never. Um, there are moments where sunglasses may be a good idea, but see to what extent you can replace them with pinhole glasses. It would be better for you. Uh, and then uh someone was asking, "What if I put small holes in my sunglasses?" Well, it's not likely to work very well. Probably if you put the holes in the sunglasses, they will break. But also, if you have sunglasses with holes, you're going to see uh through where the holes are not. So, it's not going to have the same effect as uh something that's completely dark that blocks completely the light and eyesight and a little hole where you can see completely sharp through the little hole. So, the idea is to use pinhole glasses or create your own with a cardboard or Kleenex box. Just poke poke the the holes. Um, okay. I already answered about uh the polarized versus non-polarized. Basically, the idea with polarized glass sunglasses is that they help the glare. That that makes more sense. Uh, for example, if you're skiing um they will reduce the ice strain and they will um make you confused better, the water, the sand, the snow, that kind of thing. But again, um, our recommendation except if you're doing like skiing or being a pilot or maybe being a sailor or driving uh against the sunset, uh, I would recommend to not use sunglasses or use them as little as possible. Um, okay. One of my issuerly, but I could see much better with the uh, instant focusing technique. Great. So happy for you, Jeffrey. And let's see. So as we're doing the exercises and if these are improving our vision, then is using our glasses making our progress go backwards? Actually, your glasses hold your eyes in bad tense positions and they bring them back to back bad habits. So that's why my recommendation is to wear the glasses as little as reasonably possible. Wear them for safety. Wear them if you need them in the moment to be functional uh for the task that you're doing, but as much as possible, don't wear them the rest of the day. And sometimes maybe to be functional with the task you're doing, you can use the pinhole glasses. Now, the idea is to do this with kindness to yourself. Again, it's not yes, no, all nothing, good, bad. Use the glasses when you need them and as much as possible when you don't need them, don't use them. Yeah. But I have had students that uh were taking the advanced program and they had to wear glasses for work eight hours a day and they were unavoidable. Uh but what's interesting is what they did after the eight hours of work and rest of the day uh and the weekend to practice natural vision improvement and over time they could let go of the glasses anyway. Okay. Uh is there a difference uh in frequency of blue light that we find in sunlight versus the blue light of devices? Absolutely. The blue light of devices is isolated. It's only blue light. This is the reason why they consume so little electricity which in a way is good. But then our bodies and our retinas are receiving blue light only blue light with no yellow, no green, no orange, no red. And for the retina and for the health of the body, it's much better to have the full solar spectrum with the combination of light that the sun naturally has at the different times of the day. Okay, this is for you, Diana. My three-year-old granddaughter has a crossed eye. They put her glasses to strengthen the eye. I am skeptical. Uh this uh this will help. Do you work with children? Children can improve their eyesight at any age. Uh this Saturday I'm hosting a free class with a specialist of early childhood visual stimulation. Uh she has written a book and she has one chapter in the anthology on um um how to apply natural vision improvement with children. I would gladly invite you to that class this Saturday, but it's to happen in Spanish because she's from Argentina. Yeah. But uh you can absolutely work with natural vision improvement with children there too. And in the clear sight method in the advanced program we are actually going to do something exceptionally nice this time for those who want to join the advanced program. I'm going to throw in pirates a hoy which is a a course that I specifically designed uh for children for adults helping the children see better and the the theme is that of pirates because pirates wear patches >> and uh when children have crossed eyes the eye patches are one of the tools that we can use uh to improve uh the eyesight. So yes, it's possible to improve. >> Go ahead. We also have books for children. That's our dear for it. >> Yes. >> Yes. >> My dear friend and colleague has for children. Absolutely. In English. >> Okay. So, I don't have gluccom, but eye pressure is high and Doc is just wanting to keep an eye on it. Well, I don't know what you mean, but keeping the eye on it. Palming and other clear side eyes exercises, are they safe? Yes. So for gluccom or high intraocular pressure, do the palming sunning sandwich. That's going to help a great deal. And we've had many students that have uh balanced their um uh eye um inner pressure uh with this sunning palming sandwich. Okay. Johnny saying, "My great grandma lived until 110 years old." Yay. Congratulations. because I hope she had good eyesight as well. Okay. If you don't have glaucoma, but they said that your nerve is suspect, they are keeping an eye on it. Should you still only do palming five minutes? Well, if the reason why the nerve is suspect is glaucoma or high intraocular pressure, yes, absolutely only do palming five minutes. But you could do palming two minutes, sunning two minutes, palming two minutes, suning two minutes, and alternating two minutes of each and you're you're safe and you can practice as long as you want. Okay. Are these uh exercises safe for eyes with high eye pressure? Yes, but you need to keep the five minutes max for the palming at each time. They're actually going to help you with the uh um intraocular pressure. And so some people are excited. I returned four hours ago. I have not put on my glasses. I love the feeling. I did a 45minute walk in the woods this morning with naked eyes. First time ever I did palming facing one of my favorite trees and it's stunning with closed eyes leaning against. Amazing. Okay. So um yeah or Johnny is saying, "I've been going without my glasses since this started. It's amazing. I need them periodically." Okay. Use them when you need them. That's okay. Yes. So, very very good. I wonder if we are having uh a few more questions. Are these video classes going to be available to watch again? Yes, they are in the YouTube channel. Um same question uh with contact lenses. Do they reverse any progress? Same as with glasses. The ideal is to wear them as little as reasonably possible. Uh uh alternating sunning and palming would be good for floaters as well. Yes. It's good for floaters as well. I didn't find the paper in the email with the test you want to inside and outside because it was not with the email. It was on the page where you can see video number two. Okay. Uh thank you, you rock. This is much better than a class I took last month. Well, I don't know what class you took, but I'm very happy that you're appreciating this one. Um very, very good. Uh are we going to talk more about cataracts in another lesson? Yes. Well, first for cataracts, very important that you do sunning and palming and also that you look far and near. Far and near. And tomorrow we're going to talk about another very important aspect for cataracts. Yes. Um so please I invite you to come back to hear about cataracts. Uh, Smita says, "My son had two eye muscle correction surgeries at age six and age 19. I'm worried if the lazy eye may come back. Can these exercises help lazy eye?" Yes. And you can even avoid Well, your son already had the surgeries, but you could avoid also the surgeries practicing natural vision improvement. And Diana, this was your case, so maybe you want to say some words for so. >> Yes. H well that's why it's very important come tomorrow. Yes. Because I had a correction surgery for strabismos when I was 30 years old. My strabismos appeared at eight and I discovered that in fact my eyes were working together had aligned. So when I went to the surgery I was 30 already but my eyes were already healed. Yes. And there was an important ingredient in that healing that's coming tomorrow. So pay attention to that. >> Yes. Uh is there a way to dissolve cataracts naturally? Yes, absolutely. And uh are you going to talk about convergence divergence? Yes, we will talk more tomorrow. Uh why palming is not suggested for more than five minutes. I think I already answered to that, right? The anatomy of the eye. Okay. Um, so, uh, I there's still a few more things that we're going to talk about. I see people are saying, "Thank you. Thank you." Very happy. Uh, but don't leave yet. Um, actually, uh, so we spoke about this already. Uh, someone is saying, "I never wear sunglasses. I always hated them." Uh, me too. I ever I I hardly ever wore sunglasses unless I was in water around the glare of the beach of the snow. Well, we already spoke that for the snow you may need the sunglasses if you're uh skiing, but this is an alternative in the water. Um yeah, people sunning, they've been doing much much better. Great. And um what about the blue light blocking screens for the computers? Those are amazing. We recommended some physical blockers and uh uh and virtual filters but for the screen not for your eyes because every time you have glasses on your eyes they generate bad habits. Uh I only use glasses when driving at night that's very uh sensible thing to do. Absolutely. You have given me hope. I'm so happy. So so happy. So happy. Um, so, uh, somebody was saying this class was so much better than another class that they took a month ago, whichever class that was. And, uh, I am wondering, we're at the midpoint of the three fourpart master class, uh, that's 300, uh, that's worth $300 and that we're giving uh, you for free. And I wonder if you are getting the value, if you are feeling that it was that it is being worth it. And a lot of people tell us that actually with the first two classes, they already feel like they have received $300 worth of value. So, I'd like to know if this is how you feel, if you feel that you're getting value here and uh you're looking forward to coming back tomorrow because there's more coming. And I see some people are saying, "Yes, so worth it." So, so happy about it. So now before we go on talking about tomorrow's class, I have bad and good news. Sorry, I have bad and good news. Uh the bad news is that you could do the exercises and you could improve, but you could hit a wall and not keep improving. Uh why? Yes. Okay. Um and you could also get a surgery and not improve or improve for a while and the problem could come back. And this would have two reason. One, you keep having bad habits with your eyesight. And so you need to learn the good habits of how you use how to use your eyes. You need to train your gaze to see better. But there's a second reason. And that second reason uh we are going to address tomorrow and this is why I want you to absolutely come back. And I'm seeing Yes. So worth it. Wow. We this is great. It's absolutely worth. It's important to practice the exercise big value. I would even like to know the cost of the longer class. We'll talk about that a bit later. But about tomorrow, it's very important because you could be exercising. You could be doing everything right. But if you don't address the inner cost for the eyesight problem, the eyesight problem will come back if it is a mechanism of defense of your body to protect you from some emotional or psychological pain. And you may be like, "What? We're talking about eyesight? What do have the emotions have to do with eyesight?" Well, actually everything. Huh? 80% more than 80% of eyesight symptoms appear at the time of uh emotional challenge of a difficult situation in life. And tomorrow we're going to talk about that specifically because when there's an effect that follows the 8020 rule, the Pareto uh principle, then it means that that factor is so important that it's really worth to take a look at it. If one cause explains 80% of a phenomenon, we really need to look into it. So that's what we're going to do in lesson number three. For me, this is the key for permanent improvement. When you address the inner cause, how your body is actually developing a symptom to protect yourself from a difficult challenging situation or time in your life. Once you let go of that, then the transformation can be permanent. H okay. So, what are we going to talk about in lesson number three? We're about uh sorry, we're going to talk about how your way of seeing reflects your way of being. And this is absolutely fascinating. We're going to discover how your eyesight reflects your personality. We're going to talk about research on how actually people with multiple personality disorder, each of their personality sees different. There is such a big connection between eyesight, personality, thought process and emotion that the change is instant. So a very effective way to clarify your eyesight is to clarify your vision of yourself, your vision of the world, your vision of life. And the amazing reward is that you not only see clearly from the eyes towards the outside for all the practical things that you want to do without glasses, but that you become a much happier human being in the process. And that is so so gratifying. So we're going to talk tomorrow about how to change to see clearly. We're going to talk about how you can transform your inner and outer vision. We're going to talk about how your eyes are the windows to your soul and how that is not just a very fancy poetic uh sentence but literally something very practical and useful. Tomorrow we will talk about the symptom translation technique. Um so you understand uh what's the reason what's the message hiding behind the symptom that you have. And we're going to talk about 15 very frequent eyesight symptoms. So those that were asking about a stigmatism and uh diverging and converging and cataracts and gluccom and macular degeneration and other symptoms. We're going to talk about all of them tomorrow and much much more. Okay. And I'm seeing Wendy says, "That makes so much sense to me because my eye issues began after a trauma as a child." Yeah. Uh so true. The emotional causes and the fixes glasses contacts made it worse. Okay. Uh uh my um yes, I needed glasses in childhood when my dad left to serve in the war. Well, you are going uh to understand all of this tomorrow. Mhm. Uh will we teach that in the paid course? Yes, we will teach that in the paid course even in more depth than in the free course. But uh in any case, come tomorrow because we are going to uh to tell you yes uh about this. So in order to uh be part of uh lesson number three, you want to make sure to be registered at clearsitemethod.com. So with your email and your name so that we can send you the email. Okay. So tomorrow um we're going to explain 15 uh uh commonly uh 15 common eye problems. Uh you are going to receive by email a pre-recorded video and then at 10:00 a.m. LA time we will do the live where we will also go deeper than in the video. But I recommend that you do both. Watch the video and come to the live. And then the day after tomorrow we will talk about six levels of vision improvement. I healed at the physical level, at the chemical level, at the emotional level that we're going to talk about tomorrow. And here we have spoken about the physical level. We have spoken about the energy level. Uh right, with sunlight. Um but there's more levels that we're you're going to discover the day after tomorrow. More ways of improving your eyesight, more approaches that are helpful. And on Saturday we will have a different uh kind of live where we will gather in a zoom room. Instead of being on YouTube, Facebook, we'll be in a zoom room where we will see each other's faces and you I will show you the platform. You'll get to meet the team and there will be other surprises. So hang in there and keep participating the lives as uh we have done today. 10:00 a.m. uh if you're in LA, 12:00 noon uh if you're in Chicago, Dallas, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, 1 p.m. if you're in New York, Miami, Toronto, Quebec, 6 p.m. if you're in London, Dublin, Disbon, 7 p.m. if you're in Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, Real Madrid, or areas around. Is there a recording? Yes, but I encourage you to participate live. You have seen that we do answer the questions of the people that are participating live. So you may get uh more uh input, more information that if you just want uh watch the recording and it's another way of showing your commitment and engaging with the materials. Make sure that you practice. Do these techniques work for your symptom? Yes, they do. Because we're teaching you things that are good for the eyes. So if you do them, your eyes will respond. Does it work at your age? It works at any age. It works for children, uh for middle-aged people, for older people. It won't. It works for everyone that's willing to practice. Does it work if you've had surgery? Even if you've had surgery, it will help you see better and have optimal eyesight for life. So, do you want to keep transforming your eyesight? I hope the answer is yes. Uh do you want a clear eyesight and vision? Then come tomorrow because we're going to tell you about the relationship between those two. Uh imagine how you will feel seeing clearly. uh more and more clearly towards the outside and towards the inside as you progress with this course. So again, are you interested or committed? If you're committed, you'll come back tomorrow and keep learning. Uh some reminders of uh useful links uh to register online if you haven't yet. Clearsitemethod.com.
