Good morning everyone welcome to this new tutorial where I'm going to teach you how to crochet this cute Koya who joins the collection of bt 21 that come in this mini format making them perfect for collecting or using as keychains Remember that on the channel you can now find step by step instructions on how to make Chimmy cooky tata and mang as always before starting the tutorial go to the description of the video where I'll leave you all the information you need to make this amigurumi and of course don't forget to leave a like comment and subscribe so you don't miss my future tutorials if you liked my content and it has helped you on more than one occasion another way to support my work is through ko-fi where you can donate a coffee and with that in addition to supporting you get access to extra benefits if you want to know more about it I'll leave the link in the description of the video and now once you have your materials ready we can start making Koya's head I'm going to use the same video that I recorded to make Cookie's head because the base it's exactly the same the only thing that varies is the position of the eyes but I'll show you when it's time to place them So for now the only thing you have to keep in mind is that instead of working with pink we're going to use light blue we start by making a magic ring of six single crochets we close and in the second round we make six increases in the next round we make a sequence of one single crochet and one increase, six times in the next round we make a sequence of one increase and two single crochets, six times in the next round we are going to make a sequence of three single crochets and one increase, six times in the next round we start with two single crochets then one increase and now we make a sequence of four single crochets and one increase, five times and we finish the round with two single crochets in the next round we are going to make a sequence of five single crochets and one increase, six times in the next round we start with three single crochets then one increase and now we make a sequence of six single crochets and one increase, five times and we finish the round with three single crochets in the next round we are going to make a sequence of seven single crochets and one increase, six times now in the next eight rounds I'm going to make a single crochet in each stitch, that means I'm going to make eight rounds of 54 single crochets. I'm going to mark the first stitch And now I start with the eight rounds. There I've finished the eight rounds and In the next round we start by making a sequence of nine single crochets and a decrease, four times . Then we make eight single crochets and finish with a decrease. In the next round we're going to make a sequence of five single crochets and a decrease, seven times. In the next round we start with two single crochets , one decrease . Now we make a sequence of four single crochets and a decrease, six times and we finish the round with two single crochets. I just finished round 20. Now comes the variation. This time I'm going to use 6 mm eyes, which are these ones I have here, and I'm going to place them between round 14 and round 15, counting from the magic ring. 14 and 15 , so between these rounds I'm going to place the eyes. There we place the first eye. This time the eyes are going to be six stitches apart, counting from the next one. Here I placed the eye we count from here 6 and in the next stitch we place the second eye so this way we will have enough space to place the nose and now we will fix the eyes and now to secure the eyes even more I will burn these little tips that remain inside now we return with Cookie's tutorial resuming in round 21 and of course we continue crocheting with the light blue color Here we are going to make a sequence of three single crochets and a decrease, seven times in the next round we do a sequence of one decrease and two single crochets, seven times at the end of this round if you want you can fill But the truth is that I prefer to wait until the last moment in the next round we are going to work only by the back loop and we are going to make a sequence of one single crochet and a decrease, seven times there is the single crochet and here is the decrease just taking the back loop There the decrease is ready and we continue doing the sequence of one single crochet and one decrease until finishing the round and now I'm going to stuff there I finished stuffing so we can continue with the next round where we are going to make seven decreases and to finish we make a slip stitch in the first stitch and cut the yarn leaving enough to later close that hole and the excess strand we hide it inside the head I go over a couple of times and cut the yarn and this strand that we used to mark the beginning of the round we also cut it and this is how the head would look for the ears we are going to start with a magic ring of six single crochets close and in the next round we make six increases in the next round we are going to do a sequence of one single crochet and one increase, six times in the next round we are going to do a sequence of five single crochets and one increase, three times in the next two rounds I am going to make a single crochet in each stitch, that means that I am going to make two rounds of 21 single crochets I am going to mark the first stitch and now I start with the two rounds in the next round we start with 13 single crochets then we make seven half double crochets and finish with one single crochet in the next round we start with 14 single crochets Then we make five half double crochets and two single crochets now to finish we make a slip stitch in the first stitch and we cut the yarn leaving enough to later sew to the head and this piece is not necessary to fill it so it would be an ear and now we are going to make another just like this one for the hair we are going to start with six chains and over the chain starting from the third from the hook we make three double crochets and a half double crochet from right here we make five chains and over the chain starting from the third from the hook we make two double crochets and a half double crochet now we go to the first chain that we made, which would be this one, and we make a slip stitch to join and now we cut the yarn leaving enough to later sew to the head and this is how it would be to make the nose we are going to use purple and we start by making three chains and over the chain starting from the second from the hook we make a single crochet and in the last chain we make four single crochets the four single crochets go in the same chain and now by the other side of the chain we make an increase in the next round we start with two single crochets then two increases two single crochets and in the last stitch we make an increase to finish we make a slip stitch in the first stitch and cut the yarn leaving enough to then sew to the head and this is how the nose would look this time to make the arms the legs and the body I'm going to use the same video that I recorded to make Chimmy Because the pattern is exactly the same so what you have to do is simply change the colors in this case to make Koya's body we're only going to use light blue for the arms we're going to start with white and we make a magic ring of five single crochets we close and we're going to crochet this piece in joined rounds So at the end of each round I'm going to join the first stitch with a slip stitch and pick up a chain the next round is going to start in the same stitch where I made the slip stitch to join already knowing that we have to continue with the second round where we're going to make five increases in the next round we're going to change the color to yellow So this time we join the first stitch with a slip stitch but we lift the chain with the yellow color and now we can continue in the next three rounds I'm going to make a single crochet in each stitch, that means I'm going to make three rounds of 10 single crochets there I made the first stitch and I'm going to mark it and now we do the three rounds and remember that at all times we're going to be working in joined rounds there I finished the three rounds So as always we join the first stitch with a slip stitch and I lift a chain and now we simply cut the yarn we cut the yellow and the white and I can use these leftover strands to fill it so the arm would be ready So now we simply crochet another one just like it to make the legs we are going to use yellow and we start with a magic ring of six single crochet stitches we close and in the second round we make six increases and now in the next two rounds I am going to make a single crochet in each stitch that means I am going to make two rounds of 12 single crochet stitches I am going to mark the first stitch and now I do start with the two rounds to finish we make a slip stitch in the first stitch and cut the yarn This is how the first leg was and now we are going to make another one just like this but with the difference that we are not going to make a slip stitch at the end of the round and we are not going to cut the yarn since we are going to continue crocheting from there here I already have the second leg ready where I have not cut the yarn So we continue working from here we take the first leg and Here we are going to make a single crochet I am going to make the single crochet in the first stitch of the first leg and this stitch I recommend that you mark because it's going to count as the first stitch of round five and what we do on round five is simply go around both legs we're going to make 12 single crochets on the first leg and then 12 single crochets on the second we start with the first leg making the 12 single crochets and since this is the first stitch we're going to make 11 more single crochets there I already made the 12 single crochets on the first leg and now we make 12 single crochets in the second this stitch is already worked, there I made the last stitch of that leg So we start from the next one from there as I said we make 12 single crochets there I finished the round and you should have 24 single crochets I recommend that you count them before continuing now in the next four rounds we're going to make a single crochet in each stitch that means we're going to make four rounds of 24 single crochets I'm going to mark the first stitch and now we start with the four rounds there I already finished the four rounds and in the next round we start with six single crochets one decrease and now we make a sequence of four single crochets and one decrease, twice and finish the round with four single crochets in the next round we are going to join the arms So have them handy here we start by making five single crochets and in the next three stitches we are going to join one of the arms we are going to take any stitch from the inside out and now we go to the next stitch of the body which would be that one and now we make a single crochet joining the body to the arm and we have to do that two more times Let's go to the next stitch of the arm now to the next stitch of the body and here I make a single crochet once more I go to the next stitch of the arm to the next stitch of the body and I make the third single crochet and there the union of an arm would be ready now working only on the body we make seven single crochets and now in the next three stitches we make the union of the second arm we pass in any stitch of the arm from the inside out and then we go to the next stitch of the body and there we make a single crochet to join And we repeat that two more times Let's go to the next stitch of the arm to the next stitch of the body and we make a single crochet again we go to the next stitch of the arm to the next stitch of the body and there we make the third single crochet of Union and now working only on the body we make three single crochets to finish the round The idea is that the arms are at the sides of the body and if they don't fit like that, simply move them to a different position here. To finish, we make a slip stitch in the first stitch and cut the thread, leaving enough to then sew the body to the head. Here you can use these little tails to close this little hole if its too big this hole between the legs . To finish the body, all that's left is to fill it. stuff it as firmly as possible except for the arms, we already have these stuffed So there's no need to stuff it anymore for the tail I'm going to reuse Cookie's tutorial because the instructions are exactly the same So as always you'll just have to change the color to Light Blue for the tail we're going to make a magic ring with a single crochet we only make one now we make a chain and turn we're going to work over the single crochet that we just made and there we make a bobble stitch of 3 double crochets I've already taught you the bobble stitch but I'll show it to you a little bit slower the bobble stitch is basically three incomplete double crochets in the same stitch we start by making the first incomplete double crochet that would be that if I wanted to make the complete double crochet I would have to pass the yarn once more through those two strands that I have on the hook But we'll leave it there we're going to make the second incomplete double crochet in the same stitch and we go through the first two strands that we have on the hook we're going to make the third incomplete double crochet only going through the first two strands that we have on the hook and now when we have four strands we go through all of them and there the bobble stitch of three double crochets would be ready if you want to see this stitch in much more detail I already made a tutorial with the basic stitches and the bobble stitch is one of them so I will leave the link in the description of this video and now we make a slip stitch in the Magic Ring and pick up a chain here we simply cut this thread And finally we close the Magic Ring and this is how the tail would look honestly I couldn't think of another way to make a ball this small I think that with a magic ring of six it wouldn't have turned out as well I would have had to make a magic ring of four but you don't like it very much so I think this was the easiest way we already have all the pieces ready But before making the union we are going to make the details that are painted with white for this I am going to use acrylic paint on the body we have to paint this shape to make the tummy and that detail is going to cover five rounds from the neck 5 and up to here the detail of the tummy would reach So we are going to cover from here to here and make the curved shape this Just I'm marking to show you because this is a normal pencil I shouldn't be doing this But this way I feel like it's easier for you so there we have the shape and up above we have to try not to paint over these front strands because we're going to use these for sewing and if we paint them it's going to be a little bit more difficult so we only paint up to there then once we have sewn the body there we can go over it a little bit with white and for the ears you're going to do almost the same thing but you have to keep this in mind in the ears we made half double crochets and those half double crochets have to be on one side So the end of the round is going to be in the front or in the back not at one end So in this case the half double crochets are on the left and this has to be facing down if we place it on the head the half double crochets are facing down I did this just to show you so that's why I didn't leave it so well accommodated and as you can see here the end of the round is facing forward and now we do the same with the other ear the half double crochets that are on this side should be facing down and as you can see in this occasion the end of the round is towards the back so once you have identified the front part of the ear you will know where you have to paint and we have to do that just as I explained with the tummy but anyway I'm going to show you again here we already know that this is our front and we have to make a kind of semicircle on the ear so we are going to start from here leaving a space between the point and the end of the ear we are going to reach this point here and upwards we are going to reach more or less there and now we join the points forming a curve and here we are also going to try not to paint over the front strands of the last round so as I said, with white acrylic paint you are going to paint the center of the ears and this spot that we marked to form Koya's tummy I am not going to show it on camera just so I don't make a mistake because here I need to be steady I have already finished painting the details of the ears and the body and while that dries we are going to place the nose and the hair Here I have the nose and at the end of the round it should be facing up and we place it this way the lower part of the nose should be slightly lower than the eyes I am going to place it there and fix it with pins and now once you have the position ready we begin to sew around the entire contour and I remind you that on my channel there is already a tutorial where I teach my sewing techniques I will leave the link in the description of the video This is what we have And now we are going to place the strand as centered as possible on the nose it should go like this and the bottom tip goes four rounds higher of the nose or at least that's how I prefer to place it pin it and then sew this top part and this is how it would look Now I'm going to ask you to take your time because we're going to place the ears so there we're going to start looking for the position that we like the most by pinning first and remember that the half double crochet that we made on the ears go down so now we have to make sure that it is as symmetrical as possible we're going to see that the distance between the ear and the eye is the same on this side as on this side and so that you have as a reference I placed them from round six counting from here and six from here the ear begins and covers eight rounds down 8 and there I put the end of the ear so once you choose the position that you like the most start sewing around the entire contour this is how the ears would look and now we're going to join the body to the head we're going to use these front strands that were left here below so we're going to position it first with pins and now start sewing around the entire contour the only stitches that you're going to be able to hook from the front strands are going to be the ones in the front and the ones in the back when sewing the arms you are going to catch at any point and as always I recommend you start sewing from the front to prevent the body from starting to twist while we sew and now from here start to sew around the entire contour then there we hook each strand of the head to each strand of the body now in the back we place the tail first we fix it with pins as centered as possible and then we sew around the contour after sewing I don't like very much how this distance between the tummy and the neck is so I'm going to fill it with more white acrylic paint and if you decide to do it too do it very carefully And you could do the same thing on the ears But the truth is that I don't see it as necessary and now to finish we are going to put a little blush on the cheeks and that's how this cute Koya would look if you liked this tutorial of course Don't forget to like, comment something nice and subscribe so you don't miss my future tutorials each interaction is very important for the channel to continue growing And so we can bring more tutorials like this another way to support my work is through ko-fi where you can donate a coffee and with that, in addition to supporting, you access extra benefits in the description I leave you the link in case you want more information and now, without further ado, have a nice day and see you in the next tutorial
