Hello everyone, this is Zibo and welcome to today's NTE video. So, in today's NTE video, we're going to talk about the ultimate beginners team building guide where I break down the different nuances and the different elements to team building so that you guys can build the best team on the global release of the game on the 29th of April. And without further ado, let us start today's video. First of all, you can feature up to four units in your team formation when you decide the team builds for each of the different game modes. And each of these units have multiple different elements which will constitute to the Esper Cycle table or the Esper Cycle circle featured on the bottom right-hand side as you guys can see on screen right now. There's a grand total of six different elements in this game, Cosmos, Anima, Luxana, Incantation, Chaos as well as Psyche. And all these elements will come together to form a series of Esper Cycle triggers which provides a series of bonuses for the teams or the units that are currently in battle. So, there's actually a grand total of eight possible Esper Cycle triggers in the game, six between the six core elements, and then two trio Esper Cycle combos. So, between Cosmos and Anima, you will get the Blossom effect which bonds a turret that can shoot at any enemies dealing damage in a small AoE. While Incantation and Anima will cause the Hex effect which deals additional instances of follow-up attack damage equals to the percentage of damage taken by the enemy after triggering Esper Cycle. While Cosmos and Luxana causes the Romora effect which marks the enemies to slow them down both on the movement speed as well as their attack animation. Psyche and Luxana causes the Stain effect making the enemy vulnerable to Psyche and Luxana damage to increase your damage output. While Chaos and Incantation causes the Scorch effect to deal Scorch damage over time. And last but not least, Chaos and Psyche causes the Nova effect dealing burst damage over a short period of time. And the last two Esper Cycle combos are the trio Esper Cycles between three elements as compared to the above dual element combos. So, between Luxana, Cosmos, as well as Anima, we have the Charge ability. And then Incantation, Chaos, as well as Psyche forms the Discord ability. So, on the elemental side of things, it is often ideal to run a multi-element team because you want to trigger either the passive boost or the active damage output that the Esper Cycle can provide when you do your Esper switches. And on the individual level, each unit has their specific roles in terms of what they do for the team. But you have your DPS which can be split into the main DPS unit or the sub DPS unit. So, as the name suggests, they're typically your main damage dealer and the main units that you control on the battlefield that dish out damage. So, they will be the first unit that you focus your resources on so that you're able to maximize your early game damage output. There's also the control units and also the damage boosters. And as the name suggests, the control units are in charge of holding the enemies in place so that you're able to do burst damage in a fixed period of time. While damage boosters greatly increases your damage over the course of battle to give you the damage numbers required to push through certain stages. And there's also the healers and shielders which are your sustain unit which provides for the shielding or healing required to keep all your units healthy throughout the boss battles in general. And last but not least, we have the Esper Cyclers as well as the breakers. So, Esper Cyclers, as the name suggests, allows you to Esper Cycle more easily either having a higher Esper Cycle charge or having the ability to full charge the Esper Cycle with their skill casting. So, right now or as of the final CBT, the main character is the only one which is able to get a full charge after their skill usage. So, that's the best skill cycle you can get and also the main character that you're running in the game. And there's also Daffodil which is the break booster. So, this is what I call the break unit. So, this unit allows you to break the bosses or the monsters more easily so that you're able to stagger them increasing your burst damage output when you break them. So, as of the recording of this video, we do not have the final confirmed values for the different skills and abilities of the different units. So, I won't be discussing the best team setups for each of the units as of the current stage in game. I'll be crafting another video discussing the best team setups for some of the core DPSs in the game once we have all the confirmed values. So, do stay tuned for that. But I do, however, can actually recommend the general formula to your team building ideas. So, you typically want one main DPS to give you your main damage source or your main units that you're controlling for your boss battles or for your mobbing battles. Ideally, you want to have two DPS units, especially units with the linked Esper Cycle abilities. So, you're able to switch between them for the dual Esper Cycle ability. Additionally, if you're not the best at the perfect parries or the perfect dodges, then having the shielders and healers will be greatly beneficial to increase the survival for your team. So, having additional heals so that your whole team can stay alive just to finish certain battles will allow you to finish the fights more easily greatly decreasing the difficulty curve as you push through the story or even the boss battles. Additionally, the inclusion of a control unit or even a damage booster could greatly increase your damage over a short amount of time either by holding a lot of enemies in place or greatly boosting your damage within a short period of time so that you're able to deliver a higher DPS number. So, that will be my basic recommendation in terms of team builds. However, there are other factors to consider such as the mobility of the unit when they're casting their skills or even the buffs that they're able to provide for the team based off the Esper Cycle abilities. And there's also the weapons consideration because there's actually a arc compatibility to each unit. So, certain units are able to equip certain arcs which are beneficial for some team archetypes or even some main DPS. So, the overall complexity in terms of team building is really high and we will cover the more in-depth team building breaking down the details for the best units and teams once we have the confirmed values. And that's pretty much it for today's ultimate basic team building guide where we broke down the elemental team builds as well as the different roles of the units in the team and the different considerations when putting the team together. So, stay tuned for the advanced team building guides as well as more guides to come for NTE.
